Abstract

Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar cabor Karate di Gorontalo menjadi tempat para praktisi Karate, dari berbagai usia sekolah menengah dengan latar belakang yang berbeda, berkumpul untuk belajar, berlatih, dan mengasah kemampuan mereka dalam seni bela diri yang telah teruji ini. Kita akan menjelajahi lebih dalam tentang peran Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar Karate di Gorontalo dalam membentuk karakter, mengembangkan keterampilan, serta memperkuat komunitas karate di wilayah tersebut. Dari sejarah pendiriannya hingga pencapaian-pencapaian yang telah diraih, pusat ini merupakan cermin dari dedikasi dan semangat para praktisi karate di Gorontalo dalam memperjuangkan nilai-nilai kejujuran, keberanian, dan disiplin. Atlet Karate PPLP sekarang berjumlah 14 orang berdasarkan hasil seleksi. Metode penelitian ini adalah m berjenis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa data kondisi fisik awal atlet karate PPLP Gorontalo yang berjumlah 8 orang yang dipersiapkan untuk Kejurnas PPLP bulan Nopember 2024. Peningkatan performa atlet karate Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar (PPLP) Gorontalo merupakan tujuan utama dalam pembinaan olahraga di daerah tersebut. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pengetahuan mendalam tentang kondisi fisik atlet menjadi kunci penting. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pentingnya mengetahui kondisi fisik atlet PPLP Gorontalo.

Abstract

West Java is a province rich in history, culture, and traditions that form an essential part of Indonesia's national identity. Culture-based education plays a strategic role in shaping the character and cultural appreciation of younger generations toward the nation's heritage. This study employs a qualitative approach by introducing elements of West Javanese culture to students at SDN Sepang, Serang City, through visual learning media. The visuals depict cultural elements such as Jaipong dance, Wayang Golek puppetry, Angklung musical instruments, traditional clothing, and regional cuisine. The findings indicate that visual media effectively enhances students' interest and understanding of local culture while fostering a sense of pride and love for cultural heritage. The pedagogical approach, inspired by the Montessori method, offers students the freedom to explore, thereby promoting creativity and independence in learning about culture. This cultural learning not only preserves traditional values but also serves as a means of social transformation in addressing the challenges of globalization. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating local culture into the formal education curriculum, the need for teacher training, and community involvement to support sustainable cultural education. Therefore, culture-based education can serve as a strong foundation for cultivating knowledgeable, culturally-rooted, and character-driven future generations, contributing to sustainable national development.

Abstract

Aceh is known as a province with cultural diversity and customs that are the outlook on life of its people. Customs are highly preserved because they are ancestral heritage that must be passed on to the next generation. One important aspect of culture is the regional language, which is an inseparable part of people's lives. Language functions as a means of communication to interact and build social relationships. Language is a meaningful expression used to convey messages that can be understood by the listener (Rizky, 2012). The Acehnese people are known to have a strong culture, reflected in the expression "matee aneuk meupat jeurat, gadoh adat pat tamita" which contains deep philosophical values. This expression shows people's awareness of the importance of customs in everyday life. Acehnese customs are an integral part of the culture that continues to live and develop in society. Abstract

Regional languages play a crucial role in shaping cultural identity and strengthening local values among young generations. This study aims to examine the benefits of using regional languages of Banten, specifically Sundanese and Javanese Serang (Jaseng), in learning activities at elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation studies at several elementary schools in Banten. The results show that the use of regional languages can increase students' self-confidence, strengthen their ties to local culture, and promote the preservation of regional languages in the midst of globalization. Additionally, students become more active in communication and demonstrate intercultural tolerance attitudes. The conclusion of this study is that regional languages not only function as a means of communication but also as an educational tool in shaping character and love for one's own culture.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the level of enthusiasm and understanding of third grade students at SDN 1 Karangantu in learning about the culture of Yogyakarta Special Region using mind mapping learning media. The background of this research is the need for innovative learning methods that can increase student engagement and understanding of the material, especially about culture. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature approach and field review. Data was collected based on scientific literature and field observation review at SDN 1 Karangantu to measure students' enthusiasm and understanding of learning using mind mapping. The research subjects were all third grade students of SDN 1 Karangantu. The results showed that the use of mind mapping media has a positive impact on students' learning enthusiasm, which can be seen from their active participation and interest in learning activities. In addition, students' learning understanding of DIY culture also increased significantly. This indicates that mind mapping is effective as a learning medium that can help students organise information, understand concepts, and remember details of DIY culture better.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Betawi cultural education in elementary school learning at SDN Karangantu to enhance students' cultural awareness. Using qualitative descriptive methods through observation, interviews, and documentation, this study investigates how Betawi cultural elements are integrated into the curriculum and their impact on students' understanding of local heritage. The research was conducted over three months involving 120 students from grades 1-6 and 8 teachers. Findings reveal that incorporating Betawi cultural elements such as traditional songs, folklore, and arts significantly improves students' cultural appreciation and identity formation. The study recommends systematic integration of local cultural content in elementary education curricula to preserve cultural heritage while enhancing educational quality.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dimasa pandemi covid-19 ini tentu mendapatakan tantangan tersendiri karena dengan keterbatasan untuk saling menjaga protokoler kesehatan baik dosen maupun mahasiswa. Pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dimasa pandemi ini diharapkan terlaksana dengan efektif dengan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dimasa pandemi covid-19 terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pengantar ilmu pendidikan dengan harapan interpretasi nilai yang tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana data diperoleh dengan uji statistik yang dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS for windows. Data diakumulasi dan dianalisis dengan analisis regresi sehingga setelah dilakukan perhitungan statistik diperoleh nilai sebesar 61,70% yang mana nilai sebesar itu bisa diinterpretasikan cukup baik atau bisa dikatakan pembelajaran cukup efektif dimasa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Orange-fleshed sweet potatoes (OFSP) is rich in ß-carotene, an important source of pro-vitamin A. The availability of Orange-fleshed sweet potatoes varieties in Indonesia is still limited. For this reason, it is necessary to develop new and superior sweet potato varieties with an orange flesh color and high yielding. Crossing sweet potatoes is a fundamental method for producing new and diverse varieties. This study aimed to assess the diversity and kinship of sweet potatoes resulting from open crosses of 32 clones BOP at the Lampung State Polytechnic experimental garden in pursuit of high yields and orange flesh color. PCA, correlation analysis, and cluster analysis analyzed collected data. The results showed that 4 main components accounted for 72.80% of the total variance. Among the characteristics observed, the weight of large storage root, number of large storage roots, and weight of total storage root exhibited strong correlations, signifying their significant contributions to high diversity. Furthermore, 10 strains demonstrated high yield potential, namely BOP-1, BOP-3, BOP-4, BOP-6, BOP-8, BOP-33, BOP-36, BOP-42, BOP-43, and BOP-73 showcasing such traits. The cluster analysis of the 32 BOP clones, with a similarity level set at 65%, resulted in 4 distinct cluster groups based on the observed characteristics. The significant contribution to diversity, strong correlations among the traits, and cluster group differences among the clones have valuable implications for the selection in developing new sweet potato varieties process. Therefore, the selection process can be more efficient and effective.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the impact of the crude palm oil export ban on the income of oil palm farming businesses in Danau Embat Village, Maro Sebo Ilir District. The study was conducted from January 2023 to August 2023. The types of data used were primary data and secondary data. The sample determination was carried out by simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative analysis was carried out using the Paired Sample t Test (Test of two paired average differences). The results of the analysis of the two average differences test were significant for oil palm farming business income between before and after the CPO export ban, this can be seen from the significant value of 0.001 which is smaller than the probability value (α) of 0.05, which means that the impact of the CPO export ban has an effect on the decline in the income of oil palm farming businesses on smallholder plantations in Danau Embat Village. The CPO export ban should be reviewed because it will have an impact on the income of oil palm farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Bali map as a learning medium in Social Science (IPS) subjects at MI Al Hidayah Cipacung. The research employed a qualitative approach through participatory observation, documentation, and informal interviews. The results show that using the Bali map improves students’ understanding of geographical positions, temples, districts, and Bali’s socio-cultural elements. The map also stimulates active interaction, group discussions, and increases students’ curiosity. The teacher’s strategy of integrating maps into small project-based learning helped build students’ analytical and collaborative skills. Challenges found include limited map availability and the absence of interactive digital maps. The study recommends developing varied and contextual map media to support effective IPS learning.
