Abstract

Abstract

Naturally, a mother hen incubates her eggs until they hatch completely. However, the success rate of natural hatching is low, and hatching can be completed with a maximum of 10 eggs. Chicken farming, more specifically the chicken egg hatching system, breeders usually use an incubator for the process of hatching chicken eggs. In the incubator, there is a lamp that has been provided which is used for the process of warming the eggs so that the eggs can hatch properly and of good quality with incandescent lamps. In general, the process of hatching eggs often encounters problems or obstacles. The obstacle that is often experienced when hatching chicken eggs is that the incubator only uses incandescent lights. Therefore, to avoid this problem, a microcontroller was designed to overcome this problem. This tool is a combination of a microcontroller with an Arduino-based temperature and humidity sensor. With this tool, after the eggs hatch, when the lights are off, the sensor can read the output in the form of the incubator temperature, which is detected by the Arduino serial display. Design methods and experimental methods were used in this research. Tool testing is divided into three types, namely temperature testing, humidity testing and egg load testing. Abstract

Adolescents are vulnerable to delinquency, especially if they have a negative self-concept that triggers deviant behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and juvenile delinquency at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. The study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 221 respondents selected by simple random sampling. The instruments used were the Tennessee Self-Concept Scale (TSCS) to measure self-concept and the Self-Report Delinquency Scale (SRD) to measure juvenile delinquency. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that out of 208 respondents, 87.5% had a positive self-concept and 12.5% had a negative self-concept. There was a significant relationship between self-concept and juvenile delinquency with a p-value = 0.000 (< 0.05). Adolescents with a positive self-concept tended to have low levels of delinquency, while those with a negative self-concept showed moderate levels of delinquency. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that various parties, especially families, schools, and health services, play an active role in helping adolescents build a positive self-concept. Adolescents are also expected to be more open with themselves and their environment, and to seek professional help such as guidance counselors or psychologists when experiencing emotional or social pressure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap produktivitas dengan kedisiplinan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada petani kelapa sawit swadaya di kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Diketahui bahwa faktor permasalahan yang terjadi turunnya kedisiplinan kerja para petani yang mengakibatkan turunnya produktivitas yang didapatkan oleh petani kelapa sawit swadaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 1.360 petani yang aktif mengelola kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Rambah Hilir. Sampel penelitian ini diambil menggunakan metode proposional stratified sampling dan perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin, sehingga diperoleh 309 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada petani kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Rambah Hilir yang menjadi responden penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh motivasi terhadap produktivitas pada petani kelapa sawit swadaya di kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu adalah positif signifikan, pengaruh motivasi terhadap kedisiplinan kerja pada petani kelapa sawit swadaya di kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu adalah positif signifikan, pengaruh kedisiplinan kerja terhadap produktivitas pada petani kelapa sawit swadaya di kecamatan Rambah Hilir kabupaten Rokan Hulu adalah positif signifikan, kedisiplinan kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh motivasi terhadap produktivitas pada petani kelapa sawit swadaya di kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya untuk menambahkan variabel lain yang kemungkinan juga memengaruhi produktivitas, seperti akses terhadap pasar, harga TBS, ketersediaan pupuk, teknologi pertanian, maupun dukungan kelembagaan.

Abstract

An international Community Service (PKM) activity provides strategic insights into the development of a digital technology-based cooperative information system. This study reflects the results of an academic visit to Malaysian national cooperatives, specifically ANGKASA, which has successfully implemented a technology-based integrated cooperative information system. This reflection identified best practices in member management, transaction recording, and digital financial reporting. The findings indicate that cooperative digitalization not only improves management efficiency and organizational transparency but also strengthens cooperative competitiveness at the national and regional levels. This PKM activity strengthens collaboration between universities and the cooperative movement in supporting the digital transformation of Indonesian cooperatives. The implications of this visit are expected to serve as a reference for the development of cooperative information systems in the academic environment and the wider community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the principal's role in implementing the school's vision and mission and students' academic achievement. The principal plays a strategic role in guiding and building a school culture that supports student success, particularly through a clear and consistently applied vision and mission. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to teachers and staff at SDN Linduk 1, along with documentation of students’ academic scores as indicators of academic achievement. The results of the study show a significant positive relationship between the implementation of the vision and mission by the principal and the improvement of students' academic performance. These findings indicate that principal leadership oriented toward a clear vision and mission can have a positive impact on the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills are important foundations in the learning process at the primary education level. Literacy includes not only the ability to read and write, but also the understanding and effective use of written information. Meanwhile, numeracy involves the ability to use basic math concepts in everyday life. Although crucial, the results of international assessments such as PISA show that Indonesian students' literacy and numeracy skills are still low. To address this, various policies have been implemented, including the implementation of the National Assessment and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This paper presents a narrative literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach of 35 SINTA and international indexed journal articles from 2020-2025. The results of the study show that effective strategies in improving literacy include the use of picture storybooks, contextual learning, digital technology, and cross-subject literacy. Numeracy improvement is helped by manipulative media, contextual approaches such as PMRI and digital-based educational games. Supporting factors such as teacher training and parental involvement play an important role, while key challenges include limited resources and teacher competencies. This study suggests the integration of innovative and collaborative approaches in learning design.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher teaching methods and student interest on student learning motivation, with student satisfaction as a mediating variable. Learning motivation is a crucial factor in student academic success. Innovative and interesting teacher teaching methods, as well as high student interest in the subject matter, are strongly suspected of being able to increase learning motivation. Furthermore, this study examines the role of student satisfaction with the learning process as a mechanism that connects the influence of teacher teaching methods and student interest on learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students at Tambak Baya State Elementary School.Data analysis was carried out using path analysis techniques to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results of the study are expected to provide empirical insight into the importance of effective teacher teaching methods and fostering student interest in increasing learning motivation through increasing student satisfaction in the learning process. The practical implications of this study are expected to provide input for teachers and schools in designing more effective learning strategies to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leadership style and workload on employee productivity in the Finance and Risk Management Directorate of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal. The research was conducted from February to July 2025 with 31 employee respondents. The study employed a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires and analyzing it using multiple linear regression. The research sought to understand how leadership style and workload influence the productivity of employees within this specific department. The results indicate that, partially, leadership style and workload have no significant effect on employee productivity, with significance values greater than 0.05. This suggests that individual leadership styles and workloads, when considered separately, may not have a strong direct impact on productivity. However, when analyzed simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee productivity, with a significance value of less than 0.05. The coefficient of determination reveals that leadership style and workload contribute 16.3% to employee productivity, indicating that while these factors play a role, the majority of the variation in productivity (83.7%) is due to other factors not explored in this study. These findings highlight the need for the company to consider a holistic approach to human resource management, focusing not only on leadership style and workload but also on other variables that could further enhance employee productivity. This research provides valuable input for improving organizational strategies

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang masih cenderung pasif dalam proses pembelajaran karena masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvesional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran process oriented guided inquiry learning (POGIL) pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan di kelas IV SDN BanjarSari 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas IV. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes uraian yang mengacu pada empat indikator berpikir kreatif: kelancaran, keluwesan, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 49,17 dan nilai posttest 88,50 dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,77 yang tergolong tinggi. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan penerapan model POGIL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan. Model ini juga mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran aktif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual.
