Abstract

As the main agents of learning, lecturers and teachers have an important role in influencing the learning process and outcomes both in cognitive aspects, skills, attitudes and values ​​in students (students). Specifically, lecturers not only teach but are also scientists tasked with developing science and technology for society. As educators, lecturers (and teachers) are required to have four competency standards, namely pedagogical, personal, professional and social competencies. This qualitative research aims to determine the professional competence of STKIP Yapis Dompu lecturers. Professional competence is competence related to lecturers' teaching abilities. Data collection was carried out through interviews and document study. The primary data source is the results of the performance evaluation of STKIP Yapis lecturers in the field of learning for the 2021/2022 academic year. The collected data was then processed and analyzed descriptively. Of the 33 lecturers who were evaluated using 10 indicators, 24 people received a "B+" with scores: 282-306 (70.5-76.5); 7 people got a "B" score: 264-279 (268-279) and the remaining 2 people got a "C+" score: 244-250 (61-62.5). The highest score was 306 (76.5) while the lowest score was 244 (61) and conversely, not a single lecturer received an "A" grade. The results of this research conclude that although the professional competence of STKIP Yapis lecturers is generally quite good, it requires continuous improvement in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to reveal the description of reading activities in English textbook used at SMP Negeri 15 Kota Bengkulu viewed from Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy framework in curriculum 2013. This research employed descriptive design which focused on the content analysis of reading activities used in English textbook “Bright: An English Course for Junior High School Students”. Therefore, the source of data in this research was an English Textbook used by the English teacher in SMP Negeri 15 Kota Bengkulu. The results showed that the reading activities covered remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. It means that reading activities in English textbook used in SMP Negeri 15 Kota Bengkulu are suitable to be used in curriculum 2013 because they covered all stages of cognitive domain based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Although low order activities are considered to limit students’ critical thinking, they are still also important for meaningful learning, improve knowledge and solving some problems in the classrooms. In addition, based on this study there are some considerations of teachers in applying high-order activities in teaching reading i.e. the students’ level language mastery, the goal of the lesson, and time allocation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Strategi Pemetaan Kata terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa di SMPN 18 Kota Bengkulu, yang diamati dari siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 18 Kota Bengkulu. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 18 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan Strategi Pemetaan Kata dan kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan Strategi Pemetaan Kata. Pertama, peneliti memberikan pre-test kepada kedua kelas. Setelah itu, peneliti memberikan post-test kepada kedua kelas. Skor pre-test dan pot-test dikumpulkan dari pilihan ganda. Kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan jendela SPPS 26. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran kosakata menggunakan Strategi Pemetaan Kata. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen dari pre-test adalah 50,4 dan post-test adalah 76,9. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung (5,094) yang lebih besar dari tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Selanjutnya uji hipotesis diperoleh sig 2-tailed (p) sebesar 0,00 sedangkan alpha (a) sebesar 0,05 (0,00<0,05). Artinya Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi, penggunaan Strategi Pemetaan Kata dalam pengajaran kosakata memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Besarnya pengaruh diperoleh berdasarkan uji ancova, diperoleh f hitung < f tabel. Maka disimpulkan bahwa memilki pengaruh, untuk sebesarap besar pengaruh peresentase pengaruhnya dapat dilihat pada tabel kolom partial eta squared pengaruhnya 0,058 menjadi sebesar 58%.

Abstract

Delinquency is behavior or actions that can violate moral values, rules, cause problems that can harm oneself and others. The problem at SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong is that there is delinquency committed by some students both in terms of association with fellow friends, the environment and actions and actions that are not good during learning hours. So this study aims to determine  the teaching and learning process of students at SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong and  the strategies of guidance and counseling teachersto overcome delinquency in SMPNegeri 2 Rejang Lebong. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation methods. The main data were obtained from the principal, counseling guidance teacher and students of SMP Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong. The results  of this study  are that first, the form of student delinquency at SMP Negeri 2  Rejang Lebong in general, noisy and quarreling in class, like to skip classes and smoke, like to be noisy in class, wear clothes that are not in accordance with the rules at school, and have problems or enemies with their friends. Second, strategies carried out by schools to reduce student delinquency include prevention strategies, including cooperation with parents and the community around the school.

Abstract

Yamaha Topaz Music School Kota Cilegon merupakan lembaga pendidikan nonformal yang bergerak dibidang pembelajaran musik khususnya vokal dan merupakan sekolah musik yang memiliki kredibilitas serta eksistensi yang baik di Kota Cilegon, karena telah meraih banyak prestasi. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut penelititian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran teknik vokal di Yamaha Topaz Music School Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran teknik vokal terbagi menjadi 5 tahapan yaitu pra kegiatan, kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, kegiatan akhir, dan evaluasi. Pembelajaran dapat dikatakan baik, hal ini terlihat dari hasil peserta didik yang mampu menerapkan materi teknik vokal. Selain itu, hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh adalah pengajaran pelatih yang lebih menekankan penggunaan teknik vibrato, karena bagi pelatih penggunaan teknik vibrato dalam bernyanyi dapat membantu menghidupkan dan meningkatkan power suara penyanyi. Kata kunci : proses pembelajaran, teknik vokal, yamaha topaz

Abstract

Ari Gunadi, luthier from Rangkasbitung has been made classical guitar for years. He has problems, when he wants to make a good guitar, but only have cheap materials and tools. Ari realized that bracing is the most important part of the quality of a classical guitar. The aim of the study was to find out in detail about the organology of Ari Gunadi's bracing, and to find out the differences between Ari Gunadi's guitar bracing and similar bracing. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative by using observation, interviews, and literature as a medium for data collection. The research results obtained, that organologically Ari Gunadi used the "Fan Bracing" with using local hibiscus and mahogany wood, and using cheap tools. But, Ari Gunadi made changes to the shape of his guitar frame, such as the small frame on the top bracing wavy, and the large frame on the back bracing where the seat was curved. So when compared with fan bracing on other guitars, there are many differences that cannot be compared and becomes a unique characteristic of classical guitar bracing made by Ari Gunadi.

Abstract

Banten is a province that has arts in the same family as West Java. Bsnten people have one type of Islamic art that focuses more on sound. The Islamic art found in Banten is Marhabanan art, an Islamic art that will show the characteristics and identity of art among communities in other regions. This research uses qualitative research methods with a Case Study approach which is used to investigate and understand an event or problem that occurs by collecting various kinds of information which are then processed to get a solution so that the problem that occurs can be resolved. This research will also describe the results of the research in a narrative manner, and the data collection uses 3 stages, namely: (1) observation, (2) interview and (3) documentation. From the results of the study it can be concluded that Marhabanan has important structures contained in it, namely: (1) Outer Structure and (2) Inner Structure, as well as knowing the functions in reading Marhabanan. in this case, the Marhabanan art in Banten can be categorized as one type of Islamic art and performing arts owned by the people of Banten and makes it a distinctive Islamic art owned by the people of Banten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui detail penggunaan software dalam proses rekaman musik.. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu studio rekaman yang bergerak secara professional di 94 Studio.Perkembangan era teknologi menyebabkan banyak kemunculan software musik secara digital. 94 Studio telah mengaplikasikan software musik yaitu Cubase Pro 10.5. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.Tahap analisis data dilakukan dengan model alir mulai dari pengumpulan data, mereduksi, menyimpulkan dan menginterpretasikan semua informasi secara selektif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengambilan data dokumentasi menggunakan kamera dan alat rekaman. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Cubase Pro 10.5 menunjukkan proses rekaman yang dilalui terdiri dari 1)tracking; 2) editing; 3) mixing dan mastering yang kemudian menghasilkan sebuah produk rekaman berupa karya musik  yang dapat diterima melalui distribusi lewat digital platform. Saran yang dapat disampaikan yaitu sebelum melakukan proses rekaman di studio rekaman professional, aransemen musik yang disiapkan harus matang. Kata kunci: proses rekaman, software musik, Cubase

Abstract

Kesenian debus merupakan kesenian Banten yang harus dijaga keberadaanya dan kelesetariannya. kesenian debus beraawal dari perkembangan penyebaran agama islam di banten. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Eksistensi Debus Padepokan Sumur Tujuh Di Babakan Kabupaten Pandeglang dan upaya pelestarian kesenian debus di babakan. Mengingat perkembangan zaman menjadi pengaruh terhadap eksistensi sebuah kesenian tradisi di masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitati deskriptif dan pendekatan studi kasus. Dalam tekhnik pengumpulan data penelitian ini  penelitian ini menggunakan tekhnik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penenlitian ini adalah kita dapat mengetahui kesenian ini masih eksis di masyarkat dalam pertunjukan yang dilakukan setiap tahunan, acara- acara pernikahan, khitanan, pemerintahan dan kegiatan latihan rutinan yang dilakukan setiap minggunya. Dalam penenlitian ini kita ketahui upaya pelestarian kesenian debus dibabakan ini, yaitu pemahaman untuk mrnimbulkan kesadaran, perencaaan secara kolektif, pembangkitan kretifitas budaya. Dalam ketiga tahapan ini Padepokan Sumur Tujuh melakukan langka-langkah sebgai upaya pelestarian kesenian debus dengan dorongan masyrakat dan pemerintah setempat.Kata kunci : Eksistensi,Pelestarian,kesenian debus,daerah babakan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause conservative dayah to be reluctant to integrate and adapt to the modern era. Various reasons underlie the reluctance of conservative dayah to incorporate modern elements into their educational institutions, including fears and concerns about the fading of Islamic values and teachings which have become the basis of educational learning in dayah, the traditions of the salaf which are considered close to the habits of the prophet and the scholars will disappear and replace modern habits that are far from Islam, negative doctrines that develop in the modern era such as individualism, consumptive, capitalist, materialistic attitudes will become the basis of santri thinking that can damage the order of Islamic society. The negative impact of technological advances which are part of modernity is also a separate consideration for conservative dayahs not to include elements of modernity in the dayah environment. Qualitative research in this conservative dayah revealed that the dayah has imposed restrictions on the entry of modernity, including prohibiting the use of smartphones, the internet, and other technological tools in the learning process and the daily lives of santri while in the dayah, the non-use of modern education systems such as the use of uniforms, school entrance tests, the existence of general learning, the use of moderate Islamic books and other general books, being a form of rejection and unwillingness of dayah to integrate with modernity.
