Abstract

Competition in the e-commerce ecosystem intensifies during Ramadan, particularly for MSMEs that must compete with large corporations. This study aims to analyze how the integration of discount strategies, digital promotion, and customer engagement can enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs in the e-commerce ecosystem during Ramadan. Using a literature review approach with a descriptive qualitative method, this research examines various studies from Google Scholar and credible websites from the 2021–2025 period. From an initial selection of 30 articles, a rigorous screening process was conducted, resulting in 22 relevant articles. The findings indicate that discounts can attract customer attention, but their effectiveness heavily depends on the right digital promotion strategy and active customer engagement. MSMEs that successfully leverage social media, live shopping, and data-driven marketing strategies have proven to be more competitive in attracting and retaining customers. Case studies such as Rendang Minang Rajo, Buttonscarves, and Somethinc demonstrate that the combination of discounts, digital marketing strategies, and strong customer interaction can significantly boost sales during Ramadan. The implications of this study highlight the importance of utilizing digital technology and data-driven marketing strategies for MSMEs to remain competitive in an increasingly saturated market.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Society is currently the center of the use of natural resources, but it is also expected to recover special natural resources in Indonesia. Social Forestry was born as a system for managing forest resources by involving communities around the forest as the main actors in forest management. The community is also given management rights to utilize forest products to help the community improve its economic welfare. As a matter of obligation, the community must also protect the forest environment through PS programs and rehabilitation activities. Forest and Land Rehabilitation through reforestation activities with the Coffee agroforestry system. Coffee plant seeds were also chosen as assistance provided by the Sawitto Forest Management Unit (KPH), Pinrang Regency. This activity began with a discussion of an FGD regarding coffee growth held at the Pinanian Forest Farmers Group (KTH) Secretariat. After the discussion, a field visit was carried out to see firsthand the growth of coffee on the KTH Pinanian social forestry permit land. Coffee plants grow well until they bear fruit, but coffee plants have also been found to have not grown optimally. Coffee was found to have dead stalks or branches caused by pests and appeared during the long dry season. Several things need to be done to overcome this, starting with research to determine the pest's cause. In terms of planting, arranging plant spacing and carrying out Agroforestry pattern planting is necessary. In anticipation of a long dry season next season, preparing an irrigation system, building dams, and other techniques is necessary. Keywords: Coffee plants, growth, agroforestry, Social forestry.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a contagious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This bacterium primarily affects the lungs, but it can also spread to other organs. One of the most commonly found forms of extrapulmonary tuberculosis is Tuberculous Lymphadenitis, which is a TB infection that affects the lymph nodes, especially in the cervical (neck) region. There are many factors that can contribute to the development of this disease. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the occurrence of Tuberculous Lymphadenitis at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Central General Hospital in Makassar during the period of 2021 to 2023. This quantitative research uses a cross-sectional approach to determine the risk factors—age, gender, nutritional status, history of tuberculosis, history of contact, diabetes mellitus, HIV status, immunization status, and hypertension—associated with the occurrence of Tuberculous Lymphadenitis. Data collection began with identifying TB cases, followed by tracing the associated risk factors that may lead to Tuberculous Lymphadenitis. The study population included all patients diagnosed with Tuberculous Lymphadenitis at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Central General Hospital from January to December in the years 2021–2023. The sampling technique used was quota sampling, a non-probability method based on non-random selection of a specific number or proportion of participants. A total of 422 samples that met the inclusion criteria were included in the study. The results showed that age, gender, nutritional status, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and BCG immunization had a significant relationship with the incidence of Tuberculous Lymphadenitis. In contrast, history of tuberculosis, HIV status, and history of contact did not show a significant association with the disease.
