Abstract

Abstract

Sustainable competitive advantage is an advantage that is achieved continuously by implementing strategies to attain unique values that competitors do not own. This research aims to identify resources and capabilities, analyze core competencies, and formulate strategies for sustainable competitive advantage in melon farming with the Resource-Based View (RBV) approach at Djoyo Tani. The research was conducted in November-December 2023 with a case study type. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling with 7 key informants. The analytical tools used were value chain analysis, VRIO framework analysis, and ANP. The results showed that melon farming has 40 resources and 25 capabilities. The core competencies of melon farming come from 11 resources and 4 capabilities. The most dominant competencies for achieving sustainable competitive advantage are Innovation (0.16163), Melon Cultivation Ability (0.14155), and Green House (0.13187). Meanwhile, alternative business strategies to achieve sustainable competitive advantage that can be implemented by melon farms are differentiation strategies. By implementing a differentiation strategy, Djoyo Tani can bring out its uniqueness or characteristics, so that it can be an attraction for consumers that is not owned by other melon farmers. The differentiation strategies that can be applied by Djoyo Tani in the future are (1) Developing its business horizontally; (2) Developing innovations in the melon cultivation process by applying the concept of smart farming based on the Internet of Things (IoT); and (3) Marketing through the utilization of Digital marketing technology.

Abstract

Back pain is a common complaint among pregnant women caused by physiological changes during pregnancy. One effective way to alleviate this discomfort is through prenatal exercise, which includes movements designed to strengthen the abdominal muscles. These muscles play a crucial role in maintaining pelvic stability during physical activities. To evaluate the effectiveness of prenatal exercise in reducing back pain among third-trimester pregnant women. Methods This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a post-test without control approach. Conducted in November 2021 at Campagaloe Health Center, the study involved 41 pregnant women selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a pain assessment questionnaire and analyzed with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: Before the intervention, 10 participants (24.4%) reported mild pain, 12 participants (29.3%) reported moderate pain, and 19 participants (46.3%) reported severe pain. After the intervention, 9 participants (22.0%) experienced mild pain, and 32 participants (78.0%) reported moderate pain, while no participants reported severe pain. Statistical analysis revealed a Z-score of -5.282 with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Prenatal exercise effectively reduces back pain in third-trimester pregnant women. Midwives are encouraged to provide comprehensive education and training on appropriate prenatal exercise techniques to empower pregnant women to manage pain independently at home.

Abstract

Study This aims to know the factors that become company constraints and strategies for realizing the presence of attitude discipline among employees at PT. Sunindo Prima Gate. Research This uses an approach study with the technique of interview and observation data collection. Based on the results, the study found that the actor's reason for delay covering personal habits like management, bad time, low motivation work, and lack of awareness about the importance of discipline in operating is not quite enough to answer for a professional. In addition, the absence of awards also contributes to low motivation, the emptiness of the HRD position, and lack of supervision, which also results in violation of discipline and often not getting strict sanctions. Research This highlights the emptiness of the HRD position at PT. Sunindo Gapura Prima has a significant impact on employee discipline. The absence of an HRD who should play a role as a connector between management and employees causes a lack of systematic monitoring and evaluation of behavior-disciplined employees. Without the existence of HRD, the company has difficulty consistently applying policy discipline and giving further instructions for repairing problem discipline.

Abstract

Nowadays, changes occur very quickly, especially in the field of technology, which requires companies to be able to adapt to these changes. Training and development is one of the most effective ways to continuously improve the knowledge and skills possessed by employees. When conducting training, of course the company must do it correctly so that it is in line with the company's goals and is on target. Training needs analysis is one of the most important stages before holding training because this stage determines which employees will take part in the training and what kind of training will be held. This research uses a qualitative approach using a case study design to obtain in-depth data. Data collection techniques for this research used interview, observation and documentation methods. The primary data source comes from interviews with 3 sources and observations and the secondary data source comes from the employee competency GAP report as the main data for training need analysis. The results of this research show that there are still several employees whose competencies do not meet the requirements required by the company. Therefore, companies should be able to continue to update employee competency GAP reports so that training needs analysis can continue to be up to date and can carry out training according to targets and objectives.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program activities are expected to produce something innovative in the implementation of its activities. Sitopeng Health Center in Cirebon City adopted an innovative approach in improving early detection and intervention of child development problems by utilizing Rapor Sehatku. This program aims to identify children at risk of experiencing developmental disorders early and provide appropriate stimulation and intervention. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) involves collaboration between health workers, parents, and PAUS teachers in paying attention to the growth and development of children at preschool age. Parents are empowered to understand the importance of their role in stimulating child development and gaining knowledge and skills. Rapor Sehatku is the main instrument in this program, which records children's development periodically. By using this book, parents, PAUD teachers and health workers can monitor child development in a more structured manner and identify early on the possibility of developmental disorders, especially in early detection of stunting. The implementation of this PKM activity is carried out in the form of training activities and direct practice on how to detect child development in parents and PAUD teachers at Mutiara Bangsa Kindergarten. This aims to increase parents' awareness and understanding of the importance of their role in supporting optimal child development. The results of this community service show an increase in knowledge and enthusiasm of parents, especially mothers who have children of preschool age and the detection of child growth and development, the use of the healthy report book becomes a link for parents and PAUD teachers in monitoring the growth and development of preschool children. The results of the validation activities show that training using the Healthy Report Book is able to improve the Early Growth and Development Stimulation, Detection and Intervention Program
