Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: In 2021, Indonesia recorded 2,982 maternal deaths related to Covid-19, highlighting a pressing health issue. The high maternal mortality rate underscores the need for innovation in the early detection of health risks for pregnant women and children. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the tinamila.com application in the early detection of high-risk pregnant women, neonates, and high-risk children at the Mandala Community Health Center in 2023. Methods: This study combines both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is collected through a cross-sectional approach using chi-square tests and secondary data from weekly reports submitted by Community Health Workers (Kader), while qualitative data is gathered through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with healthcare professionals and Kader. The research population consists of ten respondents from the healthcare sector, including the Head of the Community Health Center, Puskesmas Administrative Staff, Surveillance Personnel, the Coordinator Midwife, and six Village Midwives, with 96 Kader selected as the sample. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: Findings reveal cadre characteristics, with 76% demonstrating good to very good knowledge and 90.6% using the application. Bivariate analysis indicates a significant correlation between knowledge and application effectiveness (p-value = 0.000, OR value = 10.5) and between training and application effectiveness (p-value = 0.001, OR value = 12.5). Conclusion:The study concludes that the tinamila.com application is effective in early detection, recommending its continued use for reporting morbidity and mortality rates. Suggestions include processing and analyzing reported data, providing feedback and rewards to cadres, and ensuring ongoing support for sustained application use.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how Digital Recruitment and Employer Branding influence Employee Retention through Perceived Organizational Support (POS), addressing gaps in strategic HRM research regarding the integrated role of digital hiring and employer branding. Research Methodology: A cross-sectional survey involving 200 employees from digitally mature Indonesian organizations was analyzed using PLS-SEM with 5,000 bootstrapped subsamples. The measurement model showed strong reliability and validity (? > .86; CR > .88; AVE > .54), and structural testing evaluated five direct hypotheses and mediation effects. Results: Employer Branding significantly predicts POS and retention, whereas Digital Recruitment enhances POS but shows no direct effect on retention. POS strongly predicts retention and fully mediates the Digital Recruitment–Retention relationship while partially mediating the Employer Branding–Retention link. The structural model explains 43% of POS variance and 51% of retention, supported by medium–large effect sizes and positive Q² values. Conclusions: The findings confirm POS as the key psychological mechanism through which modern HR practices translate into retention outcomes. Employer Branding drives retention both directly and indirectly, while Digital Recruitment contributes indirectly via POS. Limitations: Cross-sectional data limit causal inference, and the digital-sector sample restricts generalizability. Contribution: The study integrates digital recruitment and employer branding within one strategic HRM framework and establishes Digital Recruitment as an empirical antecedent of POS, reinforcing POS’s centrality in digital-era retention strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze classroom evaluation as an instrument for improving teaching quality through a literature review of scientific journals, academic books, and policy documents. The study was conducted to address the issue of inequality in teaching quality influenced by evaluation practices that still focus on student outcomes, rather than the learning process. The results of the review indicate that classroom evaluation plays a crucial role in strengthening teacher professionalism through reflective practice, classroom observation, and providing meaningful feedback. Both global and national literature confirm that systematic, dialogic, and data-driven evaluation can improve instructional effectiveness and foster a culture of reflection in teaching practice. Other findings reveal structural and cultural barriers to the implementation of classroom evaluation in Indonesia, such as administrative constraints, teacher workloads, and evaluators' limited capacity to provide constructive feedback. These conditions often lead to evaluation being perceived as a means of control, rather than a means of professional development. This study concludes that repositioning classroom evaluation as a collaborative process that supports continuous improvement in teaching quality is crucial. Recommendations include strengthening evaluator competencies, developing contextual evaluation guidelines, and conducting field research to delve deeper into teachers' experiences.

Abstract

Sustainable livelihoods are a crucial concept in efforts to achieve balanced social, economic, and environmental prosperity. In reality, many communities face challenges with their implementation, including uncertain income and limited access to existing resources. The existence of these problems necessitates effective strategies for achieving sustainable livelihoods. This research aims to analyze sustainable livelihood strategies by optimizing the livelihood capital owned by rice farmers. This research was conducted in Penanggungan Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency. This research was conducted in February – March 2024. This research focused on farmers who grow rice plants, with 134 respondents. The method used is a sustainable livelihood approach based on livelihood capital. Data analysis used logistic regression. The results obtained from human capital, social capital, and physical capital have a significant and positive impact on sustainable livelihoods. Meanwhile, natural capital has no significant effect, and financial capital has a negative and insignificant impact on sustainable livelihoods. Thus, human capital, social capital, and physical capital have the opportunity to improve farmers’ sustainable livelihoods.
