Abstract

This study aims to determine effective learning methods for grade 4 students of SDN 222 Pasirpogor. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year. The subjects of the study were class 4 teachers and grade 4 students of SDN 222 Pasirpogor with a total of 26 students in class 4. The data collection method uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data validity test uses source triangulation, engineering triangulation, and time triangulation which is then continued with data analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that effective learning methods at SDN 222 Pasirpogor were the lecture method, the question and answer method, the assignment method, and the discussion method. Teachers are able to apply the method well and it is considered that the method applied is effective.

Abstract

An effective learning environment is a context where students can maximize their potential. In this environment, key elements such as interaction between teachers and students, the appropriate use of technology, supportive space design, and relevant curriculum play crucial roles. Skilled teachers who support active learning, motivate students, and build positive relationships can create an environment that fosters both intellectual and emotional growth.The use of technology is a significant component in modern learning environments. Proper integration of technology can enhance students' access to information, provide variation in teaching methods, and facilitate personalized and adaptive learning. Well-designed learning spaces also play a pivotal role. Ergonomic space design, utilization of open areas for collaboration, and provision of adequate resources can create an atmosphere that supports exploration and creativity. Moreover, a relevant curriculum aligned with current needs is also a key factor. A curriculum that blends theory with practical applications, considers the latest developments, and facilitates critical problem-solving can encourage meaningful learning. Overall, an effective learning environment is about creating a stimulating atmosphere that fosters curiosity, supports collaboration, and encourages critical thinking. When all these components are integrated effectively, students can reach their optimal potential in a nurturing and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

The changing times and developments in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 bring significant opportunities and challenges to people's lives, including education. This era is marked by rapid developments in digital technology, artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), which are changing the mindset, learning methods, and social interactions of students. Education is no longer limited to physical classrooms, but has expanded into the digital realm, requiring teachers, curricula, and learning systems to adapt quickly and effectively. Moreover, Islamic Religious Education must be able to adapt and not be antipasti to the changes and developments of the times. By integrating digital technology into the learning process, using social media as a means of preaching, and developing a curriculum that is relevant to contemporary issues such as digital ethics and environmental sustainability, all based on Islamic values. The purpose of this study is to examine in depth how the revitalization of Islamic Religious Education and Ethics can be carried out to remain relevant and effective in facing the challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution era. To achieve this objective, this study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods, which involves analyzing literature from various relevant scientific sources, such as journals, books, and official documents. From the results of the study that in facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires steps in dealing with it, namely; 1). increasing the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers, 2). relevant curriculum development, 3). collaboration between religious education and technology, 4). character education in a global context. In the face of these developments, education must also be able to change the paradigm of education. That students are autonomous subjects, who are involved in learning activities. The cooperation of various elements such as family and society is also needed in an effort to revitalize Islamic religious education and character education. Because this effort requires effective collaboration and integration between religious education, technology and ethics.

Abstract

Jurnal ini merupakan sebuah gagasan ilmiah yang bertujuan untuk membahas pentingnya pembentukan karakter sumber daya manusia yang berlandaskan moralitas, melalui proses internalisasi nilai-nilai positif dalam sistem pendidikan. Upaya ini dipandang sebagai salah satu solusi strategis dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, khususnya terkait kemerosotan moral di kalangan generasi muda. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan systematic literature review dengan kriteria inklusi jurnal terindeks Sinta (2015–2023) dari Google Scholar dan Digital Library."Secara garis besar, nilai-nilai yang perlu terus ditumbuhkan dan ditanamkan dalam praktik pendidikan di Indonesia mencakup nilai-nilai religius, semangat gotong royong, rasa kebersamaan, sikap rendah hati, kelembutan hati, keramahan, serta toleransi. Abstract

Penelitian ini menunjukkan beragam model penanaman karakter yang dapat diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan (pesantren, madrasah, dan sekolah) untuk merespons kebutuhan mendesak akan pemenuhan kapasitas moral dan etika di tengah kompleksitas tantangan sosial modern. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka sebagai sumber data utama, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi urgensi penerapan model penanaman karakter, berbagai model yang tersedia, serta tantangan dan inovasi yang dapat dilakukan. Model yang diusulkan meliputi Model Keteladanan, Model Pembiasaan, Model Pengajaran, Model Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler, dan lainnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas model-model ini dalam meningkatkan kapasitas moral siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan model penanaman karakter yang tepat sangat penting untuk menghadapi kompleksitas tantangan sosial kontemporer.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PJBL), and Inquiry Learning (IL) models on students' cognitive learning outcomes in the Islamic Religious Education and Character subject. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and involved three Grade IX classes at Junior High School Madani Boarding School Celak, selected using purposive sampling. A cognitive learning test was used as the research instrument. Since the data were not normally distributed, the analysis was conducted using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test. The results showed no significant difference in students’ cognitive learning outcomes among the PBL, PJBL, and IL groups, with a significance value of 0.920 (p > 0.05). Thus, the three learning models demonstrated relatively equal effectiveness in improving students' cognitive achievement. This study recommends optimizing the implementation of each model through innovative strategies and learning media to further enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pilar terpenting untuk memajukan generasi muda bangsa dalam hal perkembangan intelektual anak. Perkembangan intelektual inilah yang akan membentuk kepribadian atau karakter anak. Mengingat pentingnya karakter dalam membangun sumber daya manusia yang tangguh, maka pendidikan karakter harus dilakukan dengan baik. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut tentunya diperlukan model yang tepat dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan yang berfokus pada perancangan metode tazkirah dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Abstract

This study aims to describe character education through technology-based which is carried out in Islamic schools, namely in the form of extracurriculars at MAN 1 Darussalam Ciamis and digital literacy which is included in the curriculum at Al-Azhar Islamic High School 5 Cirebon.  This research was conducted in April-May 2022, with the subject of research by the Vice Principal of the Curriculum section and students. The method used is a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. Data collection used several guidelines including interview guidelines, documentation studies, and observations. The results of the research at MAN 1 Darussalam Ciamis showed that: (1) Robotics extracurricular activities are carried out every Thursday at 15.00-end; (2) Activities are carried out at the Robotics Lab, Integrated Religious Laboratory Building; (3) Activities are carried out with the supervision of a teacher and coach; (4) Material taught in robotics extracurricular activities includes material training and work programs. The results of research at Al-Azhar Islamic High School 5 Cirebon show that: (1) Digital literacy activities are included in the school curriculum; (2) Digital literacy activities are carried out in the School Mosque Hall; (3) The activity is attended by all students of class X, XI and XII every Friday at 07.00-08.00 WIB; (4) Digital literacy activities are carried out with the supervision of the Vice Principal of the Curriculum Section and several teachers; (5) The material taught includes training on various digital applications that are useful in learning, and work programs.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of instilling moral values based on Islamic education as a theoretical foundation for character education in schools. The main objective of this study is to explore the incorporation of Islamic values such as honesty, compassion, humility, and justice into the character education curriculum for shaping students' character. The research method used includes a literature review to gather data on the effectiveness of Islamic-based character education in various educational contexts. The results of the study indicate that this approach not only strengthens individual morality but also promotes religious identity, tolerance, and independence among students in facing global moral challenges. The implications of these findings are that Islamic-based character education is a relevant and effective strategy in preparing future generations who are responsible, have integrity, and are empathetic towards society. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes through the use of Project Based Learning. The study was conducted using Quasy Experimental research. The technique or data collection used in this study is a pretest, and posttest, In sampling using purposive sampling. The data analysis techniques used in this study are the normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test, the t-test hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney test, and the N-gain test. The results in this study show that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students with an average post-test value of the experimental class of 0.76 greater than the control class with an average post-test value of 0.39. The hypothesis test results obtained a Significance value < a probability value of 0.00 < 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students.
