Abstract

This research aims to find out which learning model is best to use between Quantum Teaching and Direct Instruction on the main sub-subject of the Human Respiration System. This research was carried out on 11-30 August 2022, where the research was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah Rappang. The population of this research was all class XI students consisting of two classes, with a sample of 80 people. Sampling was carried out using Total Sampling. The instruments used in this research were the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and tests in the form of questions about the Human Respiration System. Evaluation is carried out by giving a multiple choice test with 20 questions. Data were analyzed using the t test. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Quantum Teaching Learning Model in the main sub-material of the Human Respiration System in class . The learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Direct Instruction Model on the main sub-material of the Respiration System in Humans in class Thus, the learning outcomes of students taught using the Quantum Teaching Learning Model with the Direct Instruction Model on the main sub-material of the Respiration System in Humans in class namely 4.4 > 1.994 so it can be concluded that the Ho Hypothesis is rejected and the Ha Hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in student learning outcomes taught using the Quantum Teaching Learning Model and the Direct Instruction Model in class XI of SMA Muhammadiyah Rappang for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This research focused on entrepreneurship education-based learning within motivation guidebook. The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of the entrepreneurship education-based learning within motivation guidebook on students ' short stories writing skills. This research was a quantitative type of research. It was conducted to students of grade XI in SMA Negeri 6 Sidrap. Data collection method was a short stories writing test. Data analysis was conducted by t-test formula to determine whether there was an improvement before and after the treatment. The results of the research indicated that value of t count was 6.62 and on 5% significance, n = 30, t table = 1.68. The t count was higher than t table , meaning that Ha was acceptable. Thus, the learning of entrepreneurship education-based short story writing within motivation guidebook was effective to develop short story writing skills.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative method as the research methodology. This research was conducted to find out students' perceptions of the impact of using social media in public speaking skills.The population in this study were students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang in this research were 38 students’ the 3rd semester. The data collection method used in this research is interview.The results showed that the perception of students based on their experience is that social media is very impactful to improve their speaking skills and the most frequently used social media is Youtube. Social media can influence students to improve their speaking skills because in social media there is a lot of content that can be used to learn English, especially to improve students' public speaking skills such as videos, video shorts, and others.

Abstract

The aim of of this research to determine the independen learning problems of odd semester students at Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods as research methodology. This research was conducted to determine students' autodidactic learning problems. The population in this research were 24 Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University students from semester 1. The data collection methods used in this research were questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that students' autodidactic learning problems have a big impact on the way they learn when they learn on their own. Autodidactic student learning problems can be caused by several things, namely, not being able to learn on their own, lack of understanding, fear of making mistakes, lack of guidance and lack of learning motivation to learn autodidactically.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the teacher's perception of the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method in teaching English. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Panca Rijang. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The participants are 3 English teachers who teach grades 1, 2, and 3 at SMP Negeri 4 Panca Rijang. The instruments of this research are interviews and questionnaires. The results showed 3 positive perceptions and 3 negative perceptions. As for 3 of the negative perception. Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that the results of interviews and questionnaires, positive perceptions where all teachers said that Contextual Teaching and Learning learning was very helpful for teachers in delivering learning material and helping students  more easily understand the material presented in the learning process.

Abstract

The lack of excitement for training students' speaking abilities is at the root of the problem in this study. Researchers are curious about: 1) This English Tutor exercise provides an incentive for students to practice speaking English. 2) Students' conduct or effort in practicing speaking English through English Tutor activities, attitudes, interests, values, or desires The design of this study is descriptive-quantitative. Creswell (2012: 13) describes quantitative research as defining a research challenge based on trends in the field or the need to explain why something occurs. According to the study's findings, 1) the learner's effort in practicing speaking English among ILP students is 63% or higher, and 2) the students'' interest in practicing speaking English is 37%. 3) 47% of learners have a positive attitude regarding English-speaking practice. 4) The student has a 50% motivation to practice speaking English. The following are the findings: 1) Having a variety of learning activities and subjects available is beneficial for increasing motivation and offering opportunity for concept exploration. 2) To avoid monotony, vary the tactics employed in the learning process. 3) Rewarding and encouraging students who can successfully express themselves in English. 4) Making the classroom an inviting atmosphere.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of describing teacher's speeches in Indonesian learning in class when learning Indonesian. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection is done by listening activities. The data that is observed is obtained from stress devices and notes when the research was examined. Teacher's speeches classified by the researchers is divided into three parts, namely utterance when giving lessons, when delivering lessons and lessons that are lessons related. Based on research conducted, it can be concluded that teachers often use assertive requirements and use regional language as the languages of instruction

Abstract

Sebagai keterampilan yang kompleks, menulis tidak mudah diajarkan karena melibatkan banyak keterampilan dan aspek kebahasaan seperti perencanaan, penyusunan, dan penyuntingan, pengejaan, tata bahasa, tanda baca, dll. menjadi lebih kompleks yang membutuhkan cara yang menarik untuk mengajarkannya. Oleh karena itu, salah satu cara yang tampaknya cocok untuk mengajarkannya adalah dengan menggunakan media yang menarik misalnya komik strip yang dapat memudahkan siswa dalam proses menulis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan komik strip dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa. Untuk melaksanakan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan siswa kelas IX 2 sebagai subjek penelitian ini. Melalui data yang dikumpulkan dari pre-test dan post-test, diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan komik strip berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa yang tercermin dari hasil post-test karangan mereka yang mencakup semua aspek kebahasaan yang disebut isi, organisasi, kosakata, tata bahasa, dan mekanika. Perbedaan signifikan dalam temuan dapat dilihat pada skor rata-rata. Berdasarkan bukti-bukti tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan komik strip berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa. Akibatnya, menemukan cara yang menarik dalam mengajar menulis narasi seperti menggunakan komik diperlukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan menulis siswa

Abstract

In order to determine the impact of employing Capcuit media on scientific learning outcomes for class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Maiwa Regency of Enrekang patent, this study employs quantitative ideation and experimental research kinds. The research population consisted of all class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Maiwa Regency of Enrekang Patent, and the samples were gathered from 28 of these students as well as Clu sampling. I'm sampling, says Ister Rando.In this study, there are 2 variables: the first is the independent variable, or the effect of using Capcuit media (x), and the second is the dependent variable, or the outcomes of scientific learning in class VII 3 students (y). The SMP Negeri 1 Maiwa Kabu i Patent Enrekang served as the research site for this project. The Muis Mean Rule was used to analyse the data after it had been obtained using the data collection technique of observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the analysis of the data, a value of X = 84.07 and a value of Y = 76.14 are obtained, allowing it to be observed that the usage of Capcut media has an impact on the outcomes of scientific learning for class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Maiwa Kabu i Enrekang patent. According to the study's findings, class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Maiwa, Kabu, and Patent Enrekang were influenced by their use of Capcut media in their science learning. This shows that the working hypothesis, according to which the usage of Capcuit media has an impact on the scientific learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Maiwa, is accepted.
