Abstract

This study aims to improve students' entrepreneurial skills at SMK Muhammadiyah Rappang through an entrepreneurship-based training program in Pancarijang District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Amid the challenges of globalization and technological advancements, SMK Muhammadiyah Rappang faces mismatched competencies between what is taught and the job market's needs. Many students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and have limited access to relevant entrepreneurial training. This training program is designed to address challenges in production and marketing by providing the necessary skills to create quality products and market them using digital technology. The methods used in this research include initial needs assessment, product innovation training, and digital marketing and branding training. The program also provides guidance on implementing the marketing and production strategies taught. The results of this training show improved students' skills in product innovation, more efficient production management, and the ability to market products online through social media and e-commerce platforms. The discussion highlights that, although challenges in production and marketing still exist, the use of appropriate technology and an understanding of digital marketing can enhance the competitiveness of local products. This program provides students with entrepreneurial skills and empowers the local community to become independent and innovative entrepreneurs. The success of this program is expected to create new job opportunities and strengthen the local economy in Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membuat guru mampu melakukan penelitian ilmiah, termasuk PTK, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan profesionalisme. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru adalah bagaimana mengoptimalkan pembuatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bagi guru SD di Desa Rijang Panua. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan pendekatan sosialisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencapai target yang ditetapkan. Prestasi yang dicapai adalah guru mampu menghasilkan PTK yang berkualitas. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat diikuti oleh 25 guru dari target 30 guru. Dengan demikian, capaian peserta mencapai 83% atau dapat dinilai baik. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pencapaian target materi telah sesuai dengan yang direncanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dan dapat dinilai baik.

Abstract

In the context of 21st-century education, history as a subject faces the challenge of remaining relevant, engaging, and pedagogically effective. This study aims to develop a technology-integrated history curriculum and digital learning module for Malaysian secondary schools, addressing the gap between conventional teaching methods and the technological competencies required by modern learners. Using the Design-Based Research (DBR) methodology, the study was conducted through four main phases: needs analysis, design and development, implementation, and evaluation. The curriculum and digital module were designed to align with the national syllabus, incorporating multimedia tools such as videos, augmented reality (AR), interactive infographics, and online quizzes to support student-centered learning. The module was validated by curriculum and educational technology experts, followed by implementation in six secondary schools involving 700 students and history teachers. Quantitative data were collected through surveys and pre-post tests, while qualitative feedback was obtained from teacher interviews and classroom observations. The results showed high acceptance across all participating schools, with average ratings above 4.5 out of 5 in key areas such as engagement, content clarity, usability, and alignment with curriculum objectives. Statistical analysis using ANOVA confirmed that the module was consistently effective across diverse educational contexts. The novelty of this research lies in its systematic integration of technology not as an accessory, but as a central component of curricular design. The findings offer a replicable model for history education reform, particularly in Southeast Asian or other developing country contexts. This study contributes to the global discourse on digital pedagogy by demonstrating how thoughtful curriculum planning and technology use can transform traditional classrooms into dynamic, interactive, and inclusive learning environments.

Abstract

The objectives of this activity are 1) to provide a correct understanding regarding the implementation of Lesson Study-based Classroom Action Research, 2) to help teachers identify learning problems that can be corrected by implementing Lesson Study-based Classroom Action Research. This service activity is delivered using lecture, question and answer, discussion and performance methods during lesson study-based PTK workshops, resulting in problem identification that focuses on the background of the problem and a research title that is appropriate to the problem identified. Several things that can be followed up from this service activity are that lesson study based PTK activities should be carried out continuously and continuously with intensive assistance from the lecturer (service team) so that the activity is not finished during the workshop; as a form of follow-up to the workshop activities themselves; routine measurements are needed to determine the impact of LS-based PTK activities on solving various problems found during the workshop; The implementation of lesson study can be successful if the teacher carries out and practices as well as implements in his class all the lesson study programs that have been followed in MGMP and workshops; The role of the principal himself is to give permission for teachers to take part in MGMP activities, to control the presence of teachers in MGMP, to provide input during reflection, and especially the role of the principal to provide funds for the implementation of the Lesson Study program.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di PP MAS Al Urwatul Wuutsqaa Benteng melalui kegiatan workshop dan seminar dengan tema “ The Inclusivity in Education”. Kegiatan seminar sehari ini terlaksana atas Kerjasama antara tim pengabdina LP3M -PLP I Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang dan pihak mitra sekolah dengan melibatkan 112 peserta seminar aktif yakni kelas XII jenjang aliyah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dan melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi dengan peluang beasiswa yang disiapkan baik pemerinta maupun pihak swasta. Metode yang diterapkan yakni kegiatan incidental dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi antara narasumber dan peserta seminar, berikut penyebaran angket untuk mengetahui dampak dari kegiatan seminar dan workshop yang sudah terlaksana. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menghasilkan luaran berupa adanya peningkatan motivais untuk beprestasi dan hasil pre- test dan post -test sebaran angket menunjukakn lebih dari 90 % peserta mengaku bahwa seminr ini adalah yang pertama kali dan memberikan manfaat motivasi dan pengetahuan mengenai peluang menjadi siswa madrasah berprestasi dan mendapatkan beasiswa baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Kegiatan pengabdian diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dan pemicu agar siswa/siswi madrah yang telah ikut seminar dapat memotivasi siswa lainnya disekitar mereka terutama dalam penyebaran informasi agar lebih prestatif pasca lulus dari sekolah madrasah tersebut.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dewasa ini telah berkembang sangat pesat dan hampir telah mempengaruhi semua aspek kehidupan manusia. Dalam era teknologi informasi ini ditandai dengan kecepatan dan kemudahan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Media grafis atau yang sering disebut sebagai media visual, merupakan salah media yang banyak digemari oleh banyak orang, selain untuk dunia bisnis bahkan untuk dunia pendidikan untuk nilai edukasi, sehingga tujuan dalam pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa MAN 1 Sidrap terutama pada pembutan design poster edukasi siswa juga bisa, adapun aplikasi yang dipelajari yaitu canva. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan salama satu hari, dengan melibatkan Kelas XI IPA siswa MAN 1 Sidrap. Selama pelaksanaan kegiatan siswa sangat antusias melaksanaan dan mengikuti kegiatan, karena mereka mendapatkan pengalaman baru dan memahami pemanfaatan aplikasi canva yang sudah diajarkan. Pengetahuan yang didapat saat pelatihan diharapkan dapat berguna bagi siswa dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang, yaitu dalam ruang lingkup kehidupan siswa yang lebih luas kedepannya.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar merupakan sekolah yang memiliki peran yang strategis dan fundamental bagi pembangunan bangsa. Sehingga penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah dasar harus diarahkan dan menunjang secara optimal demi mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Peraturan baru yang mengharuskan syarat pernah melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bagi guru sebagai syarat naik golongan menjadi sebuah kendala yang cukup berat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru SMKN 5 Sidrap tidak terbiasa menulis atau melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Guru harus memenuhi kewajibannya jika ingin naik golongan dan pangkat khususnya dari IV a ke IV b atau dari pangkat Pembina ke Pembina tingkat 1 ke atas. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini ialah menjadikan guru mampu membuat karya tulis ilmiah antara lain PTK agar mampu dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan profesi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru ialah bagaimana mengoptimalkan pembuatan penelitian tindakan kelas guru-guru SMKN 5 Sidrap di dusun Bangun Harjo. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosialisasi. Kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan latihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencapai target. Capaian tersebut ialah guru mampu menghasilkan penelitian tindakan kelas yang baik. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat diikuti oleh 25 guru. dari target 30 guru. Sehingga, ketercapaian peserta 83% atau dapat dinilai baik. Simpulan dalam kegiatan ini ialah ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dinilai baik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Rappang melalui program pelatihan berbasis kewirausahaan di Kecamatan Pancarijang, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Di tengah tantangan globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi, SMK Muhammadiyah Rappang menghadapi masalah ketidaksesuaian antara kompetensi yang diajarkan dan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Selain itu, banyak siswa berasal dari latar belakang ekonomi yang kurang mampu dan memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap pelatihan kewirausahaan yang relevan. Program pelatihan ini dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah di bidang produksi dan pemasaran, dengan memberikan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk menciptakan produk berkualitas dan memasarkan produk menggunakan teknologi digital.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan asesmen kebutuhan awal, pelatihan inovasi produk, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital dan branding. Program ini juga mencakup pendampingan dalam implementasi strategi pemasaran dan produksi yang telah diajarkan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam hal inovasi produk, pengelolaan produksi yang lebih efisien, serta kemampuan pemasaran produk secara online melalui media sosial dan platform e-commerce.Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tantangan dalam produksi dan pemasaran masih ada, penggunaan teknologi tepat guna dan pemahaman tentang pemasaran digital dapat meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan kewirausahaan kepada siswa, tetapi juga memberdayakan masyarakat sekitar untuk menjadi wirausahawan yang mandiri dan inovatif. Keberhasilan program ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dan memperkuat perekonomian lokal di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the teacher's perception of the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method in teaching English. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Panca Rijang. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The participants are 3 English teachers who teach grades 1, 2, and 3 at SMP Negeri 4 Panca Rijang. The instruments of this research are interviews and questionnaires. The results showed 3 positive perceptions and 3 negative perceptions. As for 3 of the negative perception. Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that the results of interviews and questionnaires, positive perceptions where all teachers said that Contextual Teaching and Learning learning was very helpful for teachers in delivering learning material and helping students  more easily understand the material presented in the learning process.

Abstract

The lack of excitement for training students' speaking abilities is at the root of the problem in this study. Researchers are curious about: 1) This English Tutor exercise provides an incentive for students to practice speaking English. 2) Students' conduct or effort in practicing speaking English through English Tutor activities, attitudes, interests, values, or desires The design of this study is descriptive-quantitative. Creswell (2012: 13) describes quantitative research as defining a research challenge based on trends in the field or the need to explain why something occurs. According to the study's findings, 1) the learner's effort in practicing speaking English among ILP students is 63% or higher, and 2) the students'' interest in practicing speaking English is 37%. 3) 47% of learners have a positive attitude regarding English-speaking practice. 4) The student has a 50% motivation to practice speaking English. The following are the findings: 1) Having a variety of learning activities and subjects available is beneficial for increasing motivation and offering opportunity for concept exploration. 2) To avoid monotony, vary the tactics employed in the learning process. 3) Rewarding and encouraging students who can successfully express themselves in English. 4) Making the classroom an inviting atmosphere.
