Abstract

This study aimed to find out the attitudes and students' perspectives on the policy-based differentiated class toward ELT learning. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. It involved 50 students in grade VIII of Muhammadiyah Langsa Middle School, consisting of two classes: class VIIIC for girls and class VIII E for boys. In collecting data for this study, the researchers used class observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data from observations and interviews indicated that the attitudes of teachers and students in the classroom were very good. Teachers did not discriminate against students, gave them the freedom to express their opinions, and students were free to express themselves and confident in learning. Students were also able to participate well in the classroom. Meanwhile, the results of the questionnaire showed that students' perspectives on this class policy had a positive value. Students felt that ELT learning in gender-differentiated classes was more enjoyable than in mixed classes. They also felt more comfortable and free from interference from the opposite sex when studying ELT, and according to them, gender differentiated class policies made them more focused when studying ELT in class.

Abstract

This study discusses related to the application of the method yanbu`a in improving how to quickly read the Qur’an in the environment of novice students at the Arridho Islamic Boarding School, Depok, who are considered relatively poor at reading. With this background, the researcher was interested in knowing how technically the yanbu'a method was applied at the Arridho Islamic boarding school, Depok. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation. The data analysis used follows the analysis of the Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study found that; Application of the method yanbu`a in improving how to quickly read the Qur'an in the novice student environment at the Arridho Islamic Boarding School in Depok, it is carried out with several methods based on active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning, time discipline and patience following the stages of learning the Qur'an Methods yanbu`a, such as al-Quran encouragement with senior santri before Musyafahah with the teacher, istiqomah in murojah or repeating the reading, letter makhrijul practice, al-Fatihah, At-tahiyat and Juz `Amma reading practice, so based on the research results, that the yanbua' method is one of the keys to the students' success in reciting the al-Quran well in accordance with tajwid knowledge.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the world of education, especially in dealing with the character of the alpha generation of students who have been familiar with technology in the digital era since an early age and have become accustomed to using technology. This generation has a tendency to prefer visual, interactive, and digital-based learning but also has a relatively short attention span. This study aims to analyze the strategies of teachers at SDN 1 Cimahpar in creating a conducive learning atmosphere for the alpha generation in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through classroom observations, in-depth interviews involving teachers and students of SDN 1 Cimahpar as research subjects. The results show that teachers' strategies in creating a conducive learning atmosphere include the use of digital technology in learning, needing to implement interactive learning strategies, individual approaches to students at SDN 1 Cimahpar, and the creation of a positive and enjoyable learning environment. In addition, teachers also play a role as facilitators and motivators in supporting active student involvement during the learning process. However, there are challenges such as distractions from gadget use and low student concentration. Therefore, teachers are required to increase creativity and competence in managing learning in the classroom. By using appropriate strategies, a more conducive learning environment can be created, thus supporting the success of the learning process in the digital era. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more innovative learning strategies and serve as a reference for teachers in navigating the ever-evolving dynamics of education alongside the rapid advancement of digital technology.

Abstract

Early childhood learning currently indicates that the development of fine motor skills still largely depends on commercially manufactured educational play tools, which are relatively expensive and underutilize the potential of the surrounding environment. This condition limits teachers’ creativity in developing contextual and locally based learning media. This study aims to describe and analyze the use of local wisdom-based educational games and their impact on the development of fine motor skills and creativity in early childhood. This study employed a qualitative case study design at RA Wathoniyah Susukan in Cirebon, involving six purposively selected informants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that local wisdom-based educational games, such as making jackfruit leaf crowns, coloring, and creating fabric scrap collages, can improve children’s fine motor skills, creativity, hand–eye coordination, finger flexibility, accuracy, and ability to express ideas. Effective strategies include exploratory activities, creative play, and the integration of values such as cooperation and environmental awareness. The novelty of this study lies in the use of local wisdom as a learning medium that not only enhances fine motor skills but also instills cultural values and environmental awareness. In conclusion, this approach effectively supports the development of fine motor skills and creativity in early childhood. It is recommended that teachers optimize the use of local materials and increase parental involvement in the learning process

Abstract

Stunting is a major indicator of chronic nutritional problems that affect children’s growth and development. In Indonesia, stunting prevalence remains high and is a national public health concern. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between socio-demographic factors and stunting incidence among toddlers in the working area of the Tanoh Alas Health Center, Southeast Aceh Regency, in 2025. This study used an analytical quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 93 mothers with children under five selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets from June 19 to July 3, 2025. Statistical analyses included Chi-Square and multiple logistic regression tests. The results showed that 33.3% of children were stunted, 34.4% had poor access to health services, and 68.8% lived in unhealthy housing conditions. Bivariate analysis indicated significant relationships between maternal age (p = 0.007), maternal education (p = 0.012), maternal occupation (p = 0.002), access to health services (p = 0.001), family income (p = 0.032), and healthy housing conditions (p = 0.007) with stunting incidence. Multivariate analysis revealed that access to health services was the strongest factor associated with stunting (p = 0.010; OR = 4.294; 95% CI: 1.411–13.06). Children with limited access to health services were 4.3 times more likely to experience stunting. The study recommends improving the accessibility and quality of maternal and child health services and strengthening multisectoral interventions and health education programs to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Teaching aids are tools used to teach and help explain the material. The teaching aids that the author makes are pneumatic system props and testing of two double acting cylinders moving simultaneously continuously. This teaching aid is made through the design stage. This teaching aid was made to serve as a learning practicum tool in the Jambi Polytechnic workshop and to conduct testing. In the final project report, the author made a pneumatic system that has the actuator motion automatically. Thus the components used to make the actuator move automatically, namely 4 manifold ports, 1 3/2 pushbutton valve, 2 3/2 roller valves, 1 5/2 double pilot valve where the air flow will be branched using a T fitting to each each cylinder, namely cylinder 1 and cylinder 2. This teaching aid has a length of 80 cm, a width of 80 cm and a height of 150 cm. All pneumatic components are mounted on pneumatic sliding boards by connecting them with pneumatic rails.

Abstract

Kulit jeruk siam serta cascara arabika memiliki potensi untuk digunakan sebagai food ingredient dalam pengembangan pangan menjadi minuman fungsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan kulit jeruk siam dengan cascara arabica dan lama waktu penyeduhan terhadap karakteristik fisikokimia teh celup. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua faktor dan dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 2 kali. Analisis data yang di gunakan adalah ANOVA dan uji Lanjut Duncan. Parameter yang di amati adalah rendemen, kadar air dan nilai pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pengeringan kulit jeruk siam memiliki rendemen 31,53 %. Kadar air teh kulit jeruk 18,97 % dan cascara 15,61 % belum sesuai SNI 01-3836-2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan perbandingan teh kulit jeruk siam dan cascara arabika, waktu penyeduhan serta interaksi keduanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai pH seduhan teh. Nilai pH paling rendah adalah perlakuan A3B3 (perbandingan teh kulit jeruk: cascara 3:1 dan waktu penyeduhan 20 menit) yaitu 5,15±0,04. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perbandingan teh kulit jeruk siam dengan cascara arabika dan waktu penyeduhan berpengaruh terhadap nilai pH seduhan teh celup.

Abstract

Flakes are a practical breakfast menu that generally contains nutrients in the form of carbohydrates, and protein, rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals to meet the nutritional intake of the morning. This study aims to make flakes purple yam with the addition of soybean flour to increase its nutritional value, especially protein content. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, namely the ratio of purple yam flour and soybean flour (100% : 0%), (90% : 10%), (80% : 20%), (70% : 30 %). Product analysis includes protein content, water content, and rehydration power (physical) to determine the selected product, then chemical analysis includes ash content, fat, crude fiber, and carbohydrates, as well as sensory and hedonic quality organoleptic tests. The data analysis used was ANOVA and Duncan's Advanced Test with 95% confidence interval. The results showed that the flakes selected were treated with 70% purple yam and 30% soybean flour. The flakes selected have protein content of 15.62%, water content of 4.40%, ash content of 1.55%, fat 4.16%, crude fiber 13.53%, carbohydrates 74.47%, and rehydration power of 18.84%. The results of the sensory quality test showed that the flakes had a dark brown color, odorless powdery aroma, slightly sweet taste, and a crunchy texture. The results of the hedonic test have the highest preference value on the attributes of texture, color, and aroma and, overall, towards liking.

Abstract

Instant rosella anti-obesity drink is a beverage product in powder form, easily soluble in water, has a short rehydration time, practical in serving. This study aims to obtain an instant rosella anti-obesity drink formulation consisting of roselle extract, mangosteen peel extract, lemon extract and EGCG. This research was optimized using the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) method with a central composite design. Analysis of the formulation includes analysis of anthocyanin levels, levels of vitamin C in each formulation treatment. Based on the results of optimization of the anthocyanin and vitamin C content of instant anti-obesity drinks using the RSM method, formula 10 was obtained containing 4.75 g roselle, 0.2 g lemon extract, 0.5 g mangosteen peel extract and 0.0625 EGCG. This formula obtained anthocyanin levels of 895.72 mg/L and vitamin C levels of 53.3 mg/L with a powder drink pH of 2.5

Abstract

ABSTRACT MDM Chicken is meat produced by separating the remaining meat on the back, head, and neck. Chicken MDM has a paste texture, fibrous, contains muscle or tendons, fat, and connective tissue. Chicken MDM is usually used as an ingredient to make meatballs, sausages, corned beef, and nuggets. The purpose of this study was to utilize chicken MDM to make fried meatballs at a more economical price. This study used a one-factor complete randomized design (CRD) design with 4 levels and 2 repetitions, with the treatment levels of chicken MDM to tapioca (30%: 44%), (40%: 34%), (50%: 24%), and (60%: 14%). Product analysis includes chemical tests including water content, ash content, protein content, and fat content, and sensory and hedonic quality tests including color, aroma, taste, texture, and overall. Data analysis used was ANOVA with Duncan's further test. The results of chemical analysis research gave a significant effect on water content, ash content, fat content and protein content. The sensory quality test significantly influenced texture, color, aroma, and taste. Hedonic test significantly affects texture, aroma, taste and overall. Keywords: MDM Chicken, fried meatballs, cemical analysis, sensory and hedonic. ABSTRAK MDM ayam adalah daging yang dihasilkan dengan cara memisahkan sisa daging pada punggung, kepala, dan leher. MDM ayam memiliki tekstur berupa pasta, berserat, mengandung otot atau urat, lemak, dan jaringan pengikat. MDM ayam biasanya digunakan sebagai bahan untuk membuat bakso, sosis, kornet, dan nugget. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah pemanfaatan MDM ayam untuk pembuatan bakso goreng dengan harga yang lebih ekonomis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan 4 taraf dan 2 kali pengulangan, dengan taraf perlakuan MDM ayam banding tapioka (30% : 44%), (40% : 34%), (50% : 24%), dan (60% : 14%). Analisa produk meliputi uji kimia meliputi kadar air, kadar abu, kadar protein, dan kadar lemak, dan uji mutu sensori dan hedonik meliputi warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur, dan overall,. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah ANOVA dengan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil penelitian analisa kimia memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak dan kadar protein. Pada uji mutu sensori berpengaruh nyata terhadap tekstur, warna, aroma, dan rasa. Uji hedonik berpengaruh nyata terhadap tekstur, aroma, rasa dan overall. Kata kunci: MDM ayam, bakso goreng, analisa kimia, mutu sensori dan hedonik.
