Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept of geometry in mathematics in schools related to Plaosan Temple. This research was conducted at Plaosan Temple from January to July 2023. This research is descriptive qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research was carried out through observation, documentation and interviews to collect data. Observations were carried out directly at Plaosan Temple. Plaosan Temple is divided into two complexes, namely Plaosan Lor Temple and Plaosan Kidul Temple. Plaosan Temple is also nicknamed the twin temples. In the Plaosan Lor Temple complex there are several buildings including the main temple, Perwara Temple, Perwara Stupa, Mandhapa, Perwara Mandhapa Stupa, Fence, Kori Agung Gapura, and Dwarapala Statue. The informants in this research were cultural figures under the Central Java Cultural Heritage Preservation Center and junior high school mathematics teachers in Gunung Kidul. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Spradley model data analysis technique. The result of this research is the discovery of geometric concepts, especially flat-sided shapes in the Plaosan Lor Temple Complex, namely, triangle models, trapezoid quadrilaterals, rhombuses and parallelograms. From the geometric model of flat-sided spatial shapes, the concept of flat-sided spatial shapes was found in the artifacts and reliefs of Plaosan Temple Keywords: Ethnomathematics, Mathematics Learning, Geometry, Flat Side Building

Abstract

This training aims to increase the knowledge of vaname shrimp farmers in Lenyeun Village, Leupung, Aceh Besar in rearing using bofolx tarpaulin. The focus is on basic cultivation principles, quality seeds, water management, feeding, and pond environment. The training involves lectures, interactive discussions, and practice in the field. Participants have the opportunity to observe and participate in direct practicum. The hope is that they will be able to apply enlargement techniques and optimize bofolx tarpaulins in cultivation. The ultimate goal is to increase vaname shrimp production in the village, providing a positive impact on the economy and welfare of the local community. Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di Kota Medan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, khususnya menggunakan metode CODOBAL (Comic Digital Android Base Learning). CODOBAL merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang menggabungkan elemen pembelajaran berbasis komik dengan teknologi Android, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di tingkat sekolah. Pelatihan ini difokuskan pada penerapan konsep-konsep dasar CODOBAL, termasuk pembuatan komik digital interaktif, integrasi materi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab ke dalam format komik, dan penggunaan platform Android sebagai media distribusi. Para peserta pelatihan, yaitu para guru Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, akan diberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang potensi dan manfaat CODOBAL dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Kota Medan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Selain itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam penerapan inovasi media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di konteks pendidikan Bahasa Arab

Abstract

The implementation of the Community Service Application in Tonggara Village, Kedungbanteng District, Tegal Regency aims to simplify and speed up the community service process. This application is web-based and can be accessed by the public via computer, smartphone or tablet devices. Some of the services available in this application include providing information about village profiles, village potential, and village programs. The Village Community Services Application can process various village administration services, such as domicile certificates, business certificates and trade business permits. The Village Community Services Application provides a platform for the community to submit complaints to the village government, providing consultation services for the community regarding various matters, such as health, education and law. The implementation of this application is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of community services in Tonggara Village. Apart from that, this application is also expected to increase the transparency and accountability of the village government to the community. The benefits of implementing the Village Community Service Application in Tonggara Village have several benefits, including increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of community services, making the community service process faster, easier and more transparent. Increasing transparency and accountability of village governments, communities can easily access information about available services and monitor village government performance. Increasing community satisfaction, people feel more satisfied with the services provided by the village government. Increasing community participation, it is easier to get involved in village activities. Implementing the community service application in Tonggara Village is the right step to improve the quality of public services in the village. This application can help village governments to provide more effective, efficient, transparent and accountable services to the community.

Abstract

Preservation of Sumbawa Regional Language (Basa Samawa) through E-Learning Platform in Learning Innovation for Teenagers is an application that has been successfully created using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) software development method which includes the requirement planning phase, use design phase, construction phase, and cutover phase. The design model used in developing the application is the Data Flow Diagram (DFD). This application can be optimized for use by the Sumbawa Regency Education and Culture Office (DIKBUD), teachers, and students in the Sumbawa Regency area. The use of the application can be maximized by teenagers to learn the Sumbawa language according to the learning model available in the application. The learning models include batuter (storytelling), maca ke nulis (reading and writing), aksara, lawas (poetry), balawas (rhyming), basakeco (developing poetry), speeches and writing short stories in Samawa or Sumbawa language. All Sumbawa language materials are available in the application which is also equipped with learning videos. To be able to access the material presented, users must first register and then be able to take part in learning, quizzes and post-tests. After the testing process was carried out on the application using black box testing on three actors, namely the Dikbud admin, teachers and students, it was stated that all application functionality in the twelve tables could function properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of small sided games training on the passing accuracy of U-16 football athletes in Poso Regency. The method used is an experimental method with pre-test and post-test designs. Using the "treatment, pre-test and post-test" design, the population is U-16 athletes who are registered with the PSSI Poso Regency Association. The sampling method is purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique using certain criteria. This study used a pre-experimental design, namely a one-group pre-test-post-test design, in which there was no control group. The sample is 24 people. Data collection techniques using field tests. The type of test is a test of the accuracy of passing the ball towards the goal. Based on the paired sample t test where Pair 1, obtained a Sig value (2-Tailed 0.000 <0.05) it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average initial test of passing accuracy in U-16 soccer athletes before being given small sided games training is 4 .79 while the average value of the final test of passing accuracy is 7.33. This proves that there is an increase in the passing accuracy of U-16 football athletes in Poso Regency. Poso Regency U-16 football athlete.

Abstract

Concrete is the main material in building construction. The use of Portland cement as a binder in concrete mixes causes high concrete production costs. Apart from that, cement production also produces high CO2 emissions. Therefore, this research aims to utilize brick waste discarded from the brick industry as a partial substitute for cement in the concrete mixture. The brick powder is sieved to 80 mesh size and then used to replace cement with variations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% based on the weight of the cement. The compressive strength of the concrete was tested at 7, 14 and 28 days. Test results show that the use of brick waste up to 10% can increase the compressive strength of concrete. At 15% and 20% substitution, there was a decrease in the compressive strength of the concrete due to incomplete pozzolanic reaction. So it is concluded that brick waste can be used as a substitute for cement up to 10% in the concrete mixture without reducing its compressive strength. This research can provide solutions for environmentally friendly waste utilization and reduce the use of cement in concrete mixtures.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan modernisasi yang mengancam pelestarian batik, penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan Metode Wavelet Daubechies dalam sistem Content-Based Image Retrieval untuk klasifikasi otomatis motif batik. Dikenal sebagai warisan budaya UNESCO, batik Indonesia menampilkan keragaman motif yang menggambarkan nilai historis dan kultural yang mendalam, khususnya dari Jawa. Motif-motif ini tidak hanya berbasis warna dan bentuk tetapi juga melibatkan tekstur dan detail yang kompleks, yang memerlukan teknologi adaptif yang dapat mengakomodasi keunikan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem Content-Based Image Retrieval yang sensitif terhadap keragaman budaya dan memungkinkan pengkatalogan yang lebih akurat dan efisien. Melalui integrasi transformasi wavelet Daubechies, metode ini meningkatkan akurasi dalam mengidentifikasi motif batik dengan peningkatan signifikan dalam metrik kinerja seperti presisi 88.57%, recall 91.67%, dan F1-score 88.97%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan transformasi wavelet Daubechies secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan sistem Content-Based Image Retrieval dalam mengelola variasi kompleks dari motif batik. Penerapan teknologi ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat untuk pelestarian dan pendidikan budaya tetapi juga membuka peluang pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk aplikasi Content-Based Image Retrieval dalam domain budaya lain.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) adalah suatu bentuk pencegahan terhadap kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja yang timbul akibat hubungan kerja dan yang mungkin menimpa pekerja di lingkungan kerja, baik bagi pekerja maupun pengusaha. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah masih tingginya risiko kecelakaan kerja karena kebijakan K3 tidak dianggap penting di dalam perusahaan, dan masih banyak pekerja yang belum memahami pentingnya K3 bagi karyawannya sendiri, bahkan perusahaan pun diabaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) pada Ribbed Company di Kota Cimahi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan survei perpustakaan. Peneliti mengambil subjek penelitian yaitu beberapa tenaga kerja Ribbed Company di Kota Cimahi. Dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, peneliti mewawancarai owner Ribbed Comapny tentang Penerapan Perlindungan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) pada Ribbed Company di Kota Cimahi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti melihat penerapan pada Ribbed Company memiliki kualitas yang sangat baik dan memenuhi peraturan yang berlaku. Satu-satunya saran yang bisa peneliti berikan pada Ribbed Company yakni untuk dapat meningkatkan penerapan K3 pada area produksi agar bisa berjalan lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of job design and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Dian Megah Indo Perkasa. The research method used is explanatory survey method with descriptive and verificative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 43 employees of PT. Dian Megah Indo Perkasa as respondents using census. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that job design and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. Job satisfaction is influenced by job design and compensation, while the rest is influenced by other factors. Good job design, including autonomy, task variety, and task significance, as well as fair and competitive compensation, can enhance employee job satisfaction. Therefore, companies are advised to pay attention to job design that matches employees' abilities, involve employees in decision-making, and provide fair and proportional compensation to increase employee job satisfaction, thus supporting overall company productivity and performance.
