Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) whether there is a contribution of arm's length to freestyle swimming ability; 2) whether is there a contribution of arm muscle strength to freestyle swimming ability; 3) whether is there a contribution of leg muscle strength to freestyle swimming ability and 4) is there a contribution of arm's length, arm muscle strength, and leg muscle strength to freestyle swimming ability. The population in this study were all Garuda Laut Makassar City athletes, specifically men, with a sample size of 30 athletes. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive, data normality tests, and correlation and regression analysis using the SPSS application. Based on the results of data analysis, this study concluded that: (1) Arm length contributed 31.2% to freestyle swimming ability, 2) Arm muscle strength contributed 44.2% to freestyle swimming ability, 3) Leg muscle strength contributes to freestyle swimming ability by 50.2%, and 4) Arm length, arm muscle strength, and leg muscle strength contribute to freestyle swimming ability by 59.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship between the flexibility of the strikeback and the strength of the arm with the ability to throw the ball inward in a football game. This research is a type of correlational descriptive research. The population of this study is all students of SMPN 19 Makassar with a research sample of 80 male students who are selected by proportional random sampling. The data analysis techniques used are simple and multiple correlation analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, this study concludes that: There is a significant relationship between the flexibility of the backward strike and the ability to throw the ball inward in a football game, (ro = 0.771 > rt = 0.220); There was a significant relationship between arm strength and inward throwing ability in football games, (ro = 0.540 > rt = 0.195); There was a significant relationship between the flexibly of the strike back and the strength of the arm with the ability to throw the ball inward in the game of football (Ro = 0.772 > Rt = 0.195).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between wrist flexion and hand reaction with drive strokes in tennis games. This research is a type of descriptive research. The population of this study is all students of SMP Negeri 40 Makassar with a research sample of 80 male students selected by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is a correlation and regression analysis technique using the SPSS Version 21.00 system at a significant level of 95% or  0.05. Starting from the results of data analysis, this study concludes that: There is a significant relationship between wrist flexion and drive stroke in tennis games, it is proven that the value of ro = 0.845 (P <  0.05); There was a significant relationship between hand reaction and drive stroke in tennis, it was proven that the value of ro = 0.865 (P <  0.05); There was a relationship between wrist flexion and hand reaction with drive strokes in tennis, proving the value of Ro = 0.910 (P <  0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelimpahan C. sexmaculata pada ekosistem pertanaman cabai, mempelajari biologi C. sexmaculata, dan mempelajari preferensi serta kemampuan memangsa C. sexmaculata. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Random Sampling. Ukuran keanekaragaman yang digunakan yakni indeks keanekaragaman spesies Shannon-Wienner dan indeks kemerataan Simpson. Pengujian biologi dan demografi C. sexmaculata dengan mangsa A. gossypii. Pengamatan tanggap fungsional dan preferensi C. sexmaculata disusun dalam rancangan faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 5 ulangan. Faktor pertama yakni pemaparan mangsa ke C. sexmaculata dengan kerapatan yang berbeda yaitu 10, 20, 30, 40 dan 50 individu, faktor kedua jenis mangsa yakni A. gossypii, A. craccivora, dan M. persicae. Data dianalisis dengan uji sidik ragam dan uji lanjut Tukey pada taraf 5%. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan sebanyak 10 spesies Coccinellidae predator. Spesies yang paling melimpah yakni C. sexmaculata. Lama hidup C. sexmaculata sejak stadium telur hingga menjadi imago yakni 29,43 ± 4,71 hari. Perkembangan larva terdiri dari empat instar, masa perkembangan instar I sampai IV berturut-turut yakni 1,72 ± 0,21; 1,74 ± 0,31; 2,30 ± 0,46; dan 2,46 ± 0,40 hari. Keperidian imago betina C. sexmaculata yakni 123,44 ± 15,03 butir selama 13,50 ± 2,12 hari. Laju pemangsaan C. sexmaculata berbeda tidak nyata pada tiga jenis mangsa yang dipaparkan. Berdasarkan analisis regresi logistik diketahui C. sexmaculata memperlihatkan tanggap fungsional tipe I terhadap A. craccivora dan tipe III pada mangsa M. persicae dan A. gossypii. Temuan ini membuktikan secara biologi C. sexmaculata sebagai kandidat agens pengendali hayati A. gossypii dan kutudaun lain yang potensial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai daya tarik wisata Pantai Pasir Putih Bokori di Desa Bajo, Kecamatan Soropia, Kabupaten Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik sampling accidental. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara langsung dengan 70 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pantai ini memiliki potensi yang cukup untuk dikembangkan sebagai objek wisata alam dengan nilai total 290.18.

Abstract

Potential hazards in industrial activities can cause work accidents. These hazards originate from humans, machines, materials and methods at work caused by the application of an occupational health and safety management system that is still not effective. Therefore, it is necessary to implement an OHS management system in recognizing potential hazards to prevent work accidents. The Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method can be applied in analyzing potential hazards at work then determining effective control measures to prevent risks that can occur. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential hazards, risk levels and hazard control measures at PT Sari Teknindo Perkasa in 2024. This type of research is descriptive with the object of research on the potential hazards of lathe, welding, grinding and scrap work. Potential hazards on the lathe machine were found, including fingers wrapped around the machine chuck, bram in the eye, electric shock. Welding machines were exposed to welding rays, welding sparks. Grinding machines are exposed to grinding stone fragments, excessive noise. scraping machines are cut by chisels, workpieces fall on the feet. For this reason, it is necessary to control hazards starting from elimination control by eliminating water sources around the welding area and substitution by replacing the manual method of lifting workpieces with Hoist. Engineering controls include installing machine guards, dust collectors, interlock systems. Administrative control by developing SOPs and SWPs, rotating work time and increasing machine maintenance schedules.

Abstract

Jakarta Bay is one of the important waters in Indonesia that plays a major role in economic activities, shipping, defense, and coastal tourism. Therefore, field observations and numerical modeling with Mike 21 are needed to determine the pattern of tidal current movement. Field observations of currents and tides were carried out for 15 days at the marina beach where the observation data will later be processed using the admiralty method to determine the harmonic component and tidal type and the observation data is used to validate the data from the MIKE 21 modeling simulation. The tidal validation results got an RMSE value of 0.13 with a correlation of 0.95 and the current validation results got an RMSE value of 0.05 with a correlation of 0.14.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how to apply Islamic business ethics in an effort to increase consumer confidence in the Ratu Glow skincare business. This type of research is a qualitative field study, with the research approach used being a normative theological and phenomenological approach. Then the primary data source for this research comes from Ratu Glow management and consumers who have used Ratu Glow skincare. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research reveal that the Ratu Glow skincare business has implemented Islamic business ethics in its business operations, both in the production aspect and in the marketing aspect. The forms of Islamic business ethics that have been applied to the production aspect of Ratu Glow's skincare business include the principle of monotheism, the principle of justice, the principle of freedom, the principle of responsibility and the principle of Ihsan. Meanwhile, the business ethics applied to the marketing aspect are honesty, trust, fathana, tabliq and tolerance.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi tentang pencegahan anemia gizi dan KEK pada ibu hamil di kota Parepare. Proses kegiatan ini meliputi; 1). Sosialisasi dan bina suasana, 2). Pelatihan komunikator lokal, dan 3). Edukasi tentang pencegahan anemia gizi dan KEK pada ibu hamil yang dilakukan oleh kader posyandu dan atau tokoh masyarakat kepada calon pengantin dalam acara Mappacci. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan; 1). Komitmen dari kepala KUA dari 4 kecamatan, kader posyandu, bidang gizi dan promosi kesehatan dinkes kota Parepare untuk mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan, 2). Terlatihnya 10 orang komunikator lokal yang terdiri dari unsur kader posyandu dan tokoh masyarakat di kecamatan Bacukiki Barat, dan 3). Proses edukasi oleh komunikator lokal kepada calon pengantin dalam acara Mappacci. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, diharapkan komunikator lokal akan terus memberikan informasi yang berkelanjutan kepada calon pengantin pada acara Mappacci di kota Parepare yang dilengkapi dengan booklet saku edukasi.  Pihak KUA dan Dinas Kesehatan kota Parepare agar dapat menyebarluaskan hasil kegiatan ini sehingga seluruh kecamatan yang ada di kota Parepare terpapar tentang pencegahan anemia gizi dan KEK pada ibu hamil yang telah dimulai di kecamatan Bacukiki Barat.Kata Kunci : Edukasi, calon pengantin, komunikator lokal, anemia gizi dan KEK, Mappacci

Abstract

This study is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to determine the effect of circuit training on volleyball games for students at SMAN 3 Pinrang. The method used is a quantitative survey with data collection techniques using agility, strength and endurance tests. The subjects in this study were 30 students of volleyball at SMAN 3 Pinrang. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis which was presented in the form of percentages and requirement tests. Based on the results of the study and discussion, the results of circuit training on volleyball sports for students at SMAN 3 Pinrang were agility of 33.33%, strength of 33.33% and endurance of 33.33%. The results of this study can conclude that the effect of circuit training on volleyball games for students at SMAN 3 Pinrang is the same or homogeneous.
