Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of multicultural-based character education through Civics (PKn) subjects in Islamic Elementary Schools (MI) by employing a qualitative library research method. The research subjects consist of academic literature, including books, journals, and policy documents, while the object of study focuses on the integration of multicultural values in the PKn curriculum at the MI level. Data were collected through systematic searches in academic databases using keywords such as "character education," "multiculturalism," and "civic education," followed by content analysis to identify themes and theoretical gaps. The findings indicate that PKn has significant potential to foster multicultural character values when contextual and active learning approaches are applied. However, challenges such as teachers' limited understanding of multicultural pedagogy and a lack of localized teaching materials hinder optimal implementation. The study concludes that strengthening multicultural character education in MI requires curriculum development, teacher training, and community collaboration to enhance students' tolerance, empathy, and national awareness.

Abstract

The prevalence of Protein Energy Malnutrition is reported to vary between 10% and 36% of all patients undergoing hemodialysis. Patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis need good nutritional status to improve their health. This situation requires a deeper analysis of important chronic kidney disease nutrition aimed at improving quality of life. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. This research method uses exploratory descriptive research with cross-sectional design. The population is all patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. A sample of 63 clients was recruited by purposive sampling technique, the criteria were Undergoing hemodialysis therapy 2x/week and aged between 18-55 years. Variables are nutritional status (Subjects Global Assessment/ SGA and Body Mass Index/ BMI) and quality of life as measured by a modified questionnaire from previous studies. Data analysis was carried out using Logistic Regression and Spearman's rho with a degree of significance p < 0.05. The results showed that nutritional status was not related to the quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis (0.988 and 0.952). Follow-up analysis found that BMI and SGA had a significant relationship with the burden of kidney disease and role- physics, which are indicators of quality of life. Nutritional status is not related to the quality of life, and remains an important factor to improve health. Future research needs to look at the biomolecular of nutritional status and its relation to health.

Abstract

Abstract

The Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) procedure involves surgical trauma that triggers an inflammatory response, pain, and muscle weakness, so the patient tends to restrict movement. Physiologically, immobilization also reduces blood circulation, increases the risk of thrombosis, and worsens lung function due to lack of early mobilization. This study aims to systematically expose the effect of early mobilization on the recovery of physical function and prevention of immobilization in postoperative coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). The method uses search through 4 main databases, namely PubMed, Scopus, Sciencedirect and ProQuest with a span of 5 years from 2020 to 2025. The literature search used keywords, namely "early mobilization exercises", "immobilization prevention", "physical function", "post-operation CABG". The critical appraisal guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute are used for article quality assessment reviews. Results of this study is a total of nine articles were extracted related to early mobilization in the restoration of physical function as well as immobilization prevention in postoperative coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). Overall, the article produced several findings related to the existence of physical recovery and immobilization prevention points that support patients with several types of mobilization interventions ranging from basic to the use of tools implemented using various durations, frequencies and intensities. Early mobilization has a positive impact on the physical and psychological aspects and independence of patients. These findings support the need to implement early mobilization protocols as a standard part of CABG postoperative management, based on patient conditions, to optimize clinical outcomes and prevent immobilization-related complications.

Abstract

Qur’anic studies in Indonesia have undergone significant methodological transformations, evolving from oral traditions to written interpretations. This study addresses the scholarly gap regarding the lack of integrated analyses that holistically examine the traditions of Qur’anic recitation, writing, and interpretation in the Indonesian context. Employing a qualitative method through desk research, this study critically engages with both primary and secondary sources, including classical and contemporary tafsir works, standardized Indonesian mus}h}af editions, and academic journal articles. The findings reveal that the evolution of Qur’anic studies in Indonesia has been shaped by the interplay between local cultures and global Islamic traditions. Oral transmission methods such as Baghdadiyah and nagham characterized the early phase which gradually transitioned into written forms exemplified by the production of standardized mus}h}af manuscripts such as Mushaf Bahriyyah, Bombay, Braille, and Sign Language editions which aim to ensure both accessibility and authenticity. In terms of interpretation, prominent Indonesian scholars such as Abdur Rauf Singkili, HAMKA, and M. Quraish Shihab have developed context-based approaches tailored to socio-cultural realities. This study concludes that Qur’anic studies in Indonesia are dynamic, continually adapting to technological, cultural, and social changes. However, further research is necessary to explore interdisciplinary interpretive approaches involving gender, ecology, and socio-political issues. Strengthening contextual and thematic interpretations will enhance the role of the Qur’an as a responsive and transformative source of guidance for contemporary Indonesian Muslim society.

Abstract

This study aims to improve elementary school students' statistical literacy through Physical Education (PJOK) learning, particularly in the long jump athletic material. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Sorong with a total sample of 56 sixth-grade students, divided into two groups: the experimental class applying PJOK learning based on long jump athletics and the control class using a conventional learning model. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, questionnaires, and observations of student activities. The results showed a significant improvement in statistical literacy in the experimental group compared to the control group. The t-test revealed a significance value indicating a significant difference between the two groups in achieving statistical literacy. The average N-Gain increase in the experimental group categorized as high, while the control group in moderate category. Additionally, students' responses to the learning model were positive. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that PE learning based on long jump athletics is effective in improving elementary students' statistical literacy. This learning model not only enhances conceptual understanding but also develops data analysis skills in real-world contexts.
