Abstract

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is becoming an essential part of everyday life today. But the social problems of society, especially cases of hunger, have also become an essential issue to date. Digital entrepreneurship has become a trend recently, with many digital business platforms and emerging applications. However, combining digital entrepreneurship with social activities becomes more attractive, which we know as Digital Social Entrepreneurship. This study describes and explains the stages in designing NasiQu, a mobile social entrepreneurship application, to see how agile can make digital social entrepreneurship interesting by involving people's sense of concern for people in need, in this case, hungry people. The Agile method, one of many used in software development, is the one that is being used. The Agile method is a short-term system development approach that calls for quick adaptation and developers who can work with any change. The results of this product from NasiQu can facilitate donations in the form of packaged rice to those who need food; in the case of this implementation, it is still specifically for orphans. In this application, there are three users, namely donors, admins, and partners. All these users have different roles and application usage flows. In addition, this application makes food donation activities more effective and can be done anywhere and anytime. It is hoped that the ongoing implementation of this activity will help many people who need food and impact opening new job opportunities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) behavior based on levels of self-esteem and self-concept among university students. This research is correlational, employing multiple regression analysis. The sample consists of 313 first-year students from the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. The findings indicate that self-esteem among students is in the low category, with a total percentage of 47.4%. Similarly, self-concept is also in the low category, with a total percentage of 45.2%. On the other hand, FoMO among students is in the high category, with a total percentage of 69%. There is a negative and significant relationship between self-esteem and FoMO, as well as between self-concept and FoMO. Additionally, there is a simultaneous relationship between self-esteem, self-concept, and FoMO. The implications of the study suggest that the university needs to design guidance and counseling programs focused on enhancing students' self-esteem and self-concept to prevent the emergence of FoMO

Abstract

Proses penelaahan dilakukan secara cermat mengikuti pedoman PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guna menjamin transparansi dan replikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to review various national and international research on the analysis of validity and reliability of measurement instruments in guidance and counseling. Validity and reliability are two key indicators in determining the quality of psychological assessment tools. Validity reflects how well an instrument measures the intended construct, while reliability refers to the consistency of measurement results. Based on a review of several scientific journals, common approaches include exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, internal consistency testing, and expert judgment validation. The review findings indicate that instruments developed through rigorous validity and reliability testing can enhance counseling effectiveness, provide more accurate diagnoses, and improve the quality of professional services. Therefore, it is essential for practitioners and researchers in guidance and counseling to continually evaluate and update the instruments they use.

Abstract

Career decision making is a key developmental task in adolescence. However, many high school students struggle with indecision due to limited external support and underdeveloped internal motivation. This study explores the relationship between parental support, future orientation, and career decision making, focusing on their individual and combined influence. A descriptive correlational design was used involving 122 eleventh-grade students from Adabiah 2 High School in Padang, Indonesia, selected via stratified random sampling. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires measuring parental support, future orientation, and career decision making. Analyses included simple and multiple regression, as well as multicollinearity diagnostics. Parental support (β = 0.834, R² = 0.694) and future orientation (β = 0.937, R² = 0.879) were both significant predictors of career decision making. However, in the combined model, only future orientation remained a significant predictor (β = 1.017, p .001), while parental support became non-significant. Multicollinearity tests showed high shared variance between predictors (VIF = 5.658), indicating conceptual overlap. The findings suggest that future orientation is a direct driver of career decision making, while parental support likely influences it indirectly by fostering future-oriented thinking. Schools should implement future-planning modules in counseling programs, and structured parental involvement should be encouraged. These results highlight the need to strengthen both internal capacities and external support to promote confident career choices in adolescents.

Abstract

Resilience—the ability to adapt positively to adversity—has become a critical concern in educational psychology, particularly for high school students facing heightened academic and social stress. Cognitive restructuring (CR), a core component of cognitive-behavioral therapy, is known to enhance resilience by transforming maladaptive thoughts into constructive reasoning. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines to evaluate the effectiveness of CR techniques in improving student resilience. A total of 47 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed. Studies were sourced from Scopus, ERIC, PsycINFO, and Web of Science, focusing on adolescents aged 15–18 in educational or counseling contexts. The synthesis revealed that CR interventions consistently enhanced emotional regulation, self-efficacy, and coping strategies, while also reducing cognitive distortions and academic stress. Techniques such as disputing irrational beliefs and reframing negative thoughts were effective in improving students’ problem-solving and perseverance. Group-based and digital CR implementations yielded particularly strong outcomes in resilience development. Findings support CR as a robust, evidence-based strategy for fostering resilience in adolescents. However, gaps remain regarding long-term effectiveness, cultural adaptation, and variability in intervention models. These limitations point to the need for longitudinal, cross-cultural, and experimental research to optimize implementation across diverse educational settings. Cognitive restructuring is a promising intervention to enhance psychological resilience among high school students, with significant implications for school-based counseling and mental health programs.
