Perkembangan teknologi semakin canggih. Keterampilan literasi digital menjadi sesuatu yang dibutuhkan di masa yang akan datang termasuk dalam pembelajaran matematika. Urgensi keterampilan literasi digital dapat meningkatkan pemahaman apabila dipergunakan secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa terhadap literasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Islam Riau yang pernah belajar matematika. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 152 orang dari beberapa program studi di Universitas Islam Riau. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner literasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika dan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Kuesioner dibagikan melalui google form yang terdiri dari lima aspek literasi digital dengan 20 pernyataan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif deskriptif persepsi siswa terhadap literasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika. Secara keseluruhan literasi digital siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika tergolong baik; siswa dapat mengakses internet untuk belajar matematika, mencari dan memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan untuk belajar matematika, namun mereka perlu meningkatkan literasi media dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penggunaan literasi digital sangat dianjurkan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika saat ini karena siswa yang hidup di era digital dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman.Technological developments are increasingly sophisticated. Digital literacy skills are something that will be needed in the future, including in learning mathematics. The urgency of digital literacy skills can increase understanding if used appropriately. This study aims to examine student perceptions of digital literacy in learning mathematics. This study aims to discuss students' perceptions of digital literacy skills in learning mathematics. The type of research conducted is survey research. The population in this study were all students at the Universitas Islam Riau who had studied mathematics. The sample of this study was 152 people from several study programs at the Universitas Islam Riau. The sampling technique is the purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were a Digital Literacy Skills Questionnaire in Mathematics Learning and interviews. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire was distributed via Google Forms and consists of five aspects of digital literacy with 20 statements. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive quantitative analysis of students' perceptions of digital literacy in learning mathematics. Overall, students' digital literacy skills in learning mathematics are good; students can access the internet to learn mathematics, find and obtain information needed to learn mathematics, but they need to be improved in media literacy skills in learning mathematics. The use of digital literacy is highly recommended in the current mathematics learning process because students who live in the digital era can keep up with the times.

Researchers use open-ended as a learning method to help students improve their math skills. Each open investigation of mathematical knowledge produces mixed results for components of mathematical ability, each school level, and the content taught. There are more and more studies on open-ended questions nowadays. This study tested the effectiveness of the open-ended approach assisted by GeoGebra on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities. The use of meta-analysis techniques is to analyze the effect (effect size) of a preliminary study. The instruments used were coding protocol sheets and coding sheets/Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) programs to analyze data. The resulting findings are that there are differences in the research method with the most significant effect size in the quasi-experimental research method, the research year with the most significant effect size in the 2012-2022 research year, indexing journals with the most significant effect size on web indexing scientific journals; the type of publication that has the most critical influence on the kind of thesis publication. Furthermore, the GeoGebra-assisted open-ended approach to creative thinking ability has no significant effect when viewed from the research characteristics of the sample size and level of education.

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the visual thinking level of junior high school students with the learning style of assimilators, converges, accommodators, and divergers in solving geometry problems. The type of research used is qualitative research with a grounded theory and case study design. The subjects studied were junior high school students consisting of 6 of 56 students. Data were collected through a learning style inventory (LSI) test given to 56 students to group participants based on the learning style of the Kolb model, then a geometry problem-solving test and interviews were given to 6 students, namely two assimilator students, one converges, one accommodator, and two diverger students. The analysis is based on data from written test results and interviews. Then, time triangulation is carried out to obtain valid research data. The analysis was conducted based on data from written test results and interview results paired with video recordings. Then, triangulation of time is carried out to obtain valid research data. The results of the analysis showed that assimilator students and converger students were able to achieve at the global visual level, namely being able to carry out visual thinking activities well in solving problems, illustrate the problem correctly in geometric drawings/objects, represent problems in mathematical symbols precisely and can express relationships between images well. While accommodator and diverger students can only reach the local visual level, they have yet to be able to show every visual thinking activity well in solving geometry problems, illustrating problems in geometry drawings that could be more precise, and solving rudimentary geometry problems.

Keterampilan berpikir matematis merupakan kemampuan dalam menggunakan pengetahuan dan pemahaman matematika untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Kemampuan representasi matematis dapat didefinisikan sebagai suatu kemampuan terkandung dalam kemampuan berpikir matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh gambaran kemampuan representasi matematis siswa berdasarkan jenis kesulitan yang dihadapi dan profil kesulitannya berdasarkan indikator kemampuan matematika dan kemampuan representasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sebuah pendekatan fenomenologi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA yang telah mempelajari materi polinomial berjumlah 35 siswa. Dari parsipan tersebut tersebut dipilih tiga siswa untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut mengenai kemampuan representasi matematisnya, jenis kesalahan, dan penyebabnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui kemampuan awal matematika, tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum kemampuan representasi matematis siswa berada pada tingkat moderat. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal matematis tinggi menunjukkan kemampuan representasi matematis yang tinggi atau sedang. Di sisi lain, siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematis sedang dapat memiliki kemampuan representasi matematis tinggi, sedang, atau rendah. Bahkan siswa yang kesulitan dalam matematika mungkin menunjukkan tingkat kemahiran yang beragam dalam mewakili konsep matematika. Kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa saat memecahkan masalah mungkin berasal dari kurangnya pemahaman, konversi yang tidak tepat, atau pelaksanaan operasi matematika yang tidak tepat.

Mathematics anxiety can be found at all levels of education, from elementary school to college students. This study aims to conduct a literature review related to mathematics anxiety in mathematics learning. The research method chosen in this study is the Systematic Literature Review. Data collection was carried out by documenting all articles that had similar research in this research report. The articles used in this study were 98 articles published for the period 2014–2022. The research was conducted at all levels of education. Based on the research results, there were 98 relevant articles published in 2014-2022 regarding mathematics anxiety in mathematics learning. It was noted that articles related to mathematical abilities including soft skills and hard skills dominated the number of articles. The collected articles mostly focus on research at the junior high school level, and researchers tend to prefer using quantitative research methods in their research.

Kahoot and Quizizz are learning platforms that can be used to view student knowledge based on games. This application can be used as an ice breaker to raise student interest in learning. Quizizz and Kahoot applications can be used for all lessons. So that this mentoring activity aims to make teachers at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru able to take advantage of the Quizizz and Kahoot applications in learning so as to create a learning environment that attracts students' interest in learning and is able to make meaningful assessments for students. The implementation method begins with the delivery of material in a classical manner, followed by a question and answer session and mentoring in making quizzes through the kahoot and quizizz applications that are adapted to the material that the teacher is capable of. As a result of this service activity, teachers at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru as training participants have received assistance in using the Kahoot and Quizizz applications in learning. In this training the teachers have made quizzes and exercises using the Kahoot and Quizizz applications to be tested in their respective classes. In this training, teachers are very interested in preparing interactive technology-based learning tools.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara pendekatan pembelajaran Science, Technology, Engineering, dan Mathematics (STEM) terhadap productive disposition siswa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik regresi linear sederhana. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 siswa kelas VII SMP di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes akhir dari angket productive disposition dengan 24 pernyataan dengan 7 indikator untuk variabel (X) productive disposition dan untuk (Y) tes akhir STEM. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber yaitu dari hasil tes, angket productive disposition, wawancara, dan rekaman video selama pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kedua variabel normal dan linear, dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan uji F. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pendekatan pembelajaran STEM terhadap productive disposition dengan nilai konstanta regresi linear sederhana adalah 33,268. Model persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan yaitu Y=33,268+0,780X. Maka dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pendekatan pembelajaran STEM terhadap productive disposition siswa SMP di masa pandemi sebesar 44,6%.

Abstrak. Kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan kebiasaan berpikir (Habits of Mind) merupakankemampuan matematis yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam setiap pembelajaran matematika. Namun beberapa penelitian dan kenyataan di lapangan menggambarkan bahwa kemampuan ini masih belum dikuasai oleh siswa sepenuhnya. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah masih monotonnya guru dalam mengajar dan banyak guru yang belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan matematis ini.Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru dalam mengajar adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Macth.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan kebiasaan berpikir (Habits of Mind) siswa SMP yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match dibandingkan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan disain eksperimen disain kelompok kontrol tidak ekuivalen (the nonequivalent control group design). Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMPNegeri 1 Jambe di KabupatenTangerang Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IXEsebagai kelas eksperimendan IXF sebagai kelas kontrol.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan angket kebiasaan berpikir.Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan SPSS 16 dan Microsoft office Exceldengan uji statistik yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji perbedaan rata-rata.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan kebiasaan berpikir (Habits of Mind) siswa SMP yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Matchlebih baik daripada siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract. Mathematical understanding ability and habits of mind are the abilities students should have in every mathematical teaching and learning. However, some research and facts in the field show that the abilitiy have not been fully mastered by students. Some of the causes are the monotonous teaching style of teachers and that many teachers have not used a learning model that can improve the mathematical ability. One of the instructional models that teachers can refer to is cooperative learning model of Make a Match type. The research aimed to find the improvement of mathematical understanding ability and habits of mind of junior secondary school students who used cooperative learning model of Make a Match type compared to those who used conventional learning. The research is quasi-experimental, employing the nonequivalent control group design. The population was the ninth graders of State Junior School 1 Jambe in Tangerang Regency of the 2013/2014 school year. The sample consisted of IXEstudentsas the experimental class and IXF students as the control class. The instruments used comprised of tests on mathematical understanding ability and questionnaires of habits of mind. The data were processed by the aid of SPSS 16 and Microsoft Office Excel. The research results demonstrated that: The improvement of mathematical understanding ability and habits of mind of the junior secondary school students who were treated with cooperative learning model of Make a Match type was better than the improvement of those treated with conventional learning model.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji peningkatan kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan penerapan aktivitas quick on the draw dalam tatanan pembelajaran kooperatif (eksperimen) dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional (kontrol) secara keseluruhan maupun perlevel sekolah serta sikap positif siswa terhadap matematika, model pembelajaran, dan soal penalaran dan komunikasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP kelas VII di Pekanbaru pada tahun ajaran 2011/2012 dan dengan subjek penelitian adalah tiga SMP yang mewakili sekolah level tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dengan teknik pengambilan sampel stratified dan purposive sampling serta menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen desain pretest-posttest kelompok tanpa acak. Temuan penelitian adalah: (1) peningkatan kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol untuk sekolah level sedang dan kelas kontrol lebih baik daripada kelas eksperimen untuk sekolah level tinggi, rendah, serta secara keseluruhan; dan (2) Siswa memiliki sikap yang positif terhadap matematika, pembelajaran, dan soal-soal penalaran dan komunikasi matematis.Abstract: This research study improvement of mathematical reasoning and communication between students who received learning by the application of the activity of quick on the draw in order of learning cooperative (experiment) with students who gets learning conventional (control) as a whole and perlevel school and positive attitude towards mathematics, learning model, and matter of mathematical reasoning and communication. The population on this research is all the students of Junior High School grade VII in Pekanbaru during the academic year 2011/2012 and with the subject of study are three Junior High School representing a level of high, medium and low with stratified dan purposive sampling technique using quasi experimental with design pretest-posttest group without random. The findings research are: (1) increasing the ability of mathematical reasoning and communication students experiment classroom better than control classroom for medium level and a control classroom better than experiment classroom in low level, and as a whole; and (2) students have a positive attitude towards mathematics, learning model, and matter of mathematical reasoning and communication.

Abstrak: Kemampuan pemahaman dan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa PGSD tergolong rendah. Di antaranya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemanfaatan konteks budaya dalam pembelajaran. Potensi budaya menjadi menarik untuk dijadikan sebagai masalah kontekstual dalam perkuliahan matematika karena budaya lebih dikenal, dilakukan dan terkait dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa PGSD melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis etnomatematisa (PKSBE). Penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa PGSD STKIP St. Paulus Ruteng semester II tahun akademik 2011/2012 yang terdiri dari dua kelas, satu kelas ekperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Pemilihan kelas tersebut dilakukan secara acak kelas dari 10 kelas yang ada. Mahasiswa kelas eksperimen mendapat pendekatan PKSBE dan mahasiswa kelas kontrol mendapat pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (PKS). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara tidak tertruktur, pretes dan postes, lembar observasi, dan angket respon mahasiswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif, uji-t dan uji Mann-Whitney U. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, kemampuan pemahaman dan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang mendapat pembelajaran menggunakan PKSBE memperoleh peningkatan yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa yang menggunakan PKS. Peningkatan tersebut masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis terhadap data observasi dan respon mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa PKSBE dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dan menumbuhkan sikap positif mereka terhadap mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Matematisa dan terhadap dosen. Abstract: The conceptual understanding and mathematics communication of the primary teacher training students can be classified as in the low level. This phenomenon is highly affected by insufficient utility of culture perspective in teaching and learning process; however, cultural value becomes interesting issues in mathematics instruction because culture has been well-known, practiced, and been strongly associated to the students’ daily life. The aim of this study is to develop students’ understanding of competence and mathematical communication through the implementation of cooperative learning of STAD techniques on the ethnomathematic basis.There were two classes of primary teacher training college students at St. Paul college of education at second semester in the academic year 2011/2012 as the sample. One class was as the experiment group and another one class was as the control group using proportional random sampling from 10 classes. The experiment group was taught by using cooperative learning STAD techniques on the ethnomathematic basis, whereas control group was taught by using cooperative learning STAD techniques without ethnomathematic basis. Instruments used in this study were unstructured interview, test, observation sheet, and questionnaire. Qualitative data analysis were t-test and Mann-Whitney U test. Based on research result can be concluded that almost the students’ understanding of mathematics and mathematical communication of the experiment group was significantly higher than those of the control group. This significant development categorized as high level. Data analysis of observation sheet and questionnaire indicated that cooperative learning STAD technique on ethnomathemtic basis could develop students’ mathematics learning activities and their positive attitudes toward the course of basic concept of mathematics and toward their lecturer.
