Abstract

This paper focuses on the literature exploration of perspectives of strategic planning in terms of whether it shapes or emerges from organisations. The paper argues that to make judgment on an organisational performance as a result of planned strategies or emergent ones is not easy.  Essentially, strategic planning aims to direct the performance of an organisation in order to attain its desired and planned goals. However, the organisation environment often changes rapidly, and hence it cannot be predicted and controlled. Such a circumstance potentially provides a particular impact on the organisation performance. In this situation, the strategic planning is inevitably shaped by the emergent strategy, which means that the realised strategy is the logical consequence of interactions between planned strategies and emergent ones. It has been suggested that a good strategic planning is to be flexible and open to a process of strategic learning, by which creativity and personnel’s commitment could be enhanced.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance at the Salapian District Head Office. This research was conducted using a causal associative quantitative approach. The sample used was all company employees, with a total of 50 people. The research results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is shown by the T-count value of 3.193 which is greater than the T-table of 1.67722, as well as the P-Value value of 0.002 which is smaller than 0.05. The regression coefficient shows that if transformational leadership is increased by 1 unit, employee performance will increase by 1,319 units assuming other variables remain constant. Apart from that, the results of the determination test show an Adjusted R Square value of 0.150 or 15.00%, which indicates that transformational leadership has a low influence on employee performance, while the remaining 75.00% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied. Thus, partially, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Salapian Subdistrict Office, Langkat Regency. This identifies that, meaning, improvements in transformational leadership can contribute to improving employee performance.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the skill of shooting using the inside of the foot in football among Physical Education students at Unimuda Sorong. The research adopted a quantitative descriptive approach. The method used was a survey method employing a shooting test instrument for data collection. The research subjects comprised 16 third-semester physical education students. The analysis technique applied was descriptive statistics, presenting frequencies in percentage form. According to the research analysis, the skill of shooting using the inside of the foot in soccer among Physical Education students at Unimuda Sorong is categorized as follows: excellent, 0 individuals or 0%; good, 5 individuals or 31.25%; adequate, 6 individuals or 37.5%; inadequate, 3 individuals or 18.75%; and very inadequate, 2 individuals or 12.5%. The majority fell into the 'adequate' category, encompassing 6 individuals or 37.5%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of sales volume on business income at screen printing cutting sanpas (study at the Assya'roniyyah Islamic boarding school). This research method uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was an unlimited number of students at the As-Sya'roniyyah Islamic boarding school. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling Technique, with the criteria being that respondents had made purchases at the screen printing cutting department at least twice, were at least 15 years old, male or female. The data collection technique is through distributing questionnaires to respondents who meet the criteria. The data analysis method used is simple Linear Analysis with the SPSS (Statistics Product and Service Solution) program version 25. The research results prove that sales volume does not have a significant effect on business income. However, simultaneously sales volume has a positive and significant effect on business income. The conclusions from this research prove that the more and higher the sales volume, the higher the business income in this research. Keywords: Sales Volume, Business Income, Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

One of the roles of housewives in strengthening the economy is to open a business so that their household needs are fulfilled. However, business management that has been carried out so far is in a simple way, so efforts are needed on how to market their products so that they can survive in trade competition. The purpose of this service is to provide digital marketing training for housewives with training methods and accompanied by product photography training. Then the results that can be taken show that the potential of housewives actually has an influence on the household economy so that it is maintained. Digital marketing training for housewives in the Corner Village of Kediri is expected to help housewives who have businesses in optimizing technology and media to facilitate business in helping the economy, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Research aim: The aim of the research is understand the recruitment process to distribute employees evenly so that the strength of human resources becomes more balanced. Design/Method/Approach: This method uses a quantitative approach with associative causality research techniques. In this research, the questionnaire uses the SPSS application in the calculation process. Research Findings Research Finding: The results of multiple regression analysis show that Recruitment (X1) and Human Resource Empowerment (X2) partially influence the dependent variable (Y), namely Employee Performance. Meanwhile, the Ha test simultaneously means that Recruitment (X1) and Human Resource Empowerment (X2) as a whole (simultaneous) have an effect on the dependent variable (Y) on Human Resource Performance. Theoretical contribution/originality: Human resource planning has a significant and positive effect on HR performance, according to HR planning it turns out to have an effect on employee performance, although not significant. Research Limitations: In this research, by limiting the problem to variables, this research only focuses on discussing recruitment and empowerment of human resources for managing employee performance at the Environmental Service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the implementation of case-based cooperative learning methods and literacy habituation on the effectiveness of learning. This research is a quantitative research. The subject of the research was 30 students of class XI IIS MA Sunan Ampel Plosoklaten. The data collection techniques used observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Techniques for data analysis are quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of case-based cooperative learning had a significant positive effect on the effectiveness of learning as seen from the significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 and the tvalue of 3.417 > ttable 2.052 with an error rate of 5% (α = 0.05), (2) literacy habituation has no significant effect on the effectiveness of learning which can be seen from the significance value of 0.159 > 0.05 and the tvalue of 1.447 < ttable 2.052, (3) the implementation of case-based cooperative learning and literacy habituation simultaneously has a significant positive effect on effectiveness learning indicated by a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and tvalue 23.579 > ttable 3.354, (4) the calculation of the determinant coefficient shows that 60.9% of the effectiveness of learning is influenced by the case-based cooperative learning method and literacy habituation, the rest is influenced by other factors

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parents' socioeconomic status, learning discipline, learning motivation on learning outcomes in Creative Products and Entrepreneurship subjects at SMK Putra Harapan in the 2019/2020 school year. This research is a type of correlation research that is used to determine the causal relationship between variable X and variable Y. The population in this study were 156 respondents of class XI SMK Putra Harapan with a sample of 30 respondents taken by simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation sheets. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant positive effect between parents' socioeconomic status on learning outcomes, (2) there was a significant positive effect between learning disciplines, (3) there was no significant influence between motivation on learning outcomes.

Abstract

The existence of a phenomenon in the secretariat office of the Nganjuk Regency government service found that there were some employees who still seemed to have low work motivation, there was a gap between employees and a lack of synergy between leaders and employees. The researcher aims to analyze the effect of motivation, work culture, and leadership on employee productivity at the Nganjuk Regency Government Service. The research method used by the researcher is quantitative with comparative causal technique. Samples were taken using probability sampling technique, obtained a sample of 58 respondents from a population of 139 employees of the Nganjuk government office secretariat. The research instrument used a closed questionnaire. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the prerequisite test for normality. The results showed that, partially proven there is a significant influence of motivation and leadership on employee productivity. While work culture is not partially proven to have a significant effect on employee productivity. The results of the simultaneous test of motivation, work culture, and leadership have a significant effect on the productivity of the Nganjuk Regency Government employees.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the variables that affect employee performance with independent variables, discipline and non-physical work environment through satisfaction with Prime Bank Government Services. government. The technique of determining the sample is the Slovin purpose sampling method with the number of respondents being 58 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale that met the validity and reliability requirements. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique that uses path analysis. The results of the study show that it does not partially prove that discipline affects the performance of Nganjuk district government employees. It is proven that partially or simultaneously job satisfaction and non-physical work environment affect employee performance. So that job satisfaction is able to mediate the increasing influence of discipline variables and non-physical work environment on the performance of service employees.
