Abstract

This study discusses law enforcement and obstacles in enforcing criminal law against student brawls in the city of Yogyakarta. This type of research is empirical legal research with a sociological approach. The data sources consist of primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Methods of collecting data by interview and literature study. The results of this study are, first, the DIY Education, Youth and Sports Office and the Yogyakarta City Resort Police have taken steps to enforce criminal law in the form of increasing coordination between the police and the school regarding security and student safety; as well as Conducting counseling related to the dangers of student brawls and narcotics abuse by students. Second, the obstacles faced by the DIY Education, Youth and Sports Office and the Yogyakarta City Resort Police are the lack of involvement of parents in raising and teaching their children to behave positively and not harm others; Lack of prevention efforts made by the school, such as facilitating permission to leave lessons or school; Parents who don't pay much attention to their children and seem to let their children go unsupervised; In carrying out law enforcement, the investigation process is not carried out by child investigators because the number of child investigators is small.

Abstract

Meatballs are ground beef products that use tapioca flour. This flour can be replaced with purple sweet potato flour (Ipomea Batatas L.) which is rich in antioxidants and nutrients such as vitamins A, C, fiber, iron, potassium and protein. This study aims to determine the effect of adding purple sweet potato flour (Ipomea Batatas L.) as a substitute for tapioca flour on the physicochemical characteristics of beef meatballs. Physical parameters tested included water binding capacity, pH, cooking shrinkage, color, and texture, as well as chemical tests such as protein content. The research was conducted in March and April 2024 at the Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University. This research design uses a complete randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replicates which include: P0 (100% tapioca flour, no purple sweet potato flour), P1 (75% tapioca flour, 25 purple sweet potato flour), P2 (50% tapioca flour, 50% purple sweet potato flour), P3 (25% tapioca flour, 75% purple sweet potato flour), P4 (no tapioca flour, 100% purple sweet potato flour). The results of the analysis of beef meatballs with the addition of purple sweet potato flour as a substitute for tapioca flour had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on pH value, cooking shrinkage, brightness color value (L *), reddish color value (a *), and yellowish color value (b *), but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on water binding capacity, texture, and protein content. The conclusion of this study is that purple sweet potato flour can be a good alternative for tapioca flour substitution in making beef meatballs with additional benefits in the form of improved nutrition and functional properties.

Abstract

Civic education is one of the subjects that play an important role in creating and realizing smart and good citizenship. Students are expected to have intellectual skills in the life of the nation and state, then their knowledge and skills will form a character in students which is used as a habit of daily life and reflects good citizens. One of the instructional treatments in Civics learning to achieve the above objectives is Project citizen. This study aims to analyze the effect of student critical thinking by applying the project citizen learning model to second-semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education S1 study program. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. The research was carried out with 50 students as research subjects. The data collection technique used a test. The results showed that applying the project citizen learning model with the stages of identifying problems, choosing problems as class study material, gathering information, developing class portfolios, presenting portfolios, and reflecting on learning experiences, can improve students' critical thinking. The test of the experimental class evidences this taught using the Project citizen learning model, which has a higher average value than the control class taught using the conventional model.

Abstract

Bangunan tahan gempa dibangun dengan mengacu pada ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam analisis ini dapat diketahui perbandingan antara beban gempa yang mengacu pada SNI 1726:2002 dan SNI 1726:2019 serta pengaruhnya terhadap suatu bangunan. Pada analisis ini dibuat dua pemodelan yang dibantu software SAP 2000 dengan input beban gempa yang berbeda. Dari pemodelan yang telah dibuat diambil dua sampel balok dari pemodelan SNI 1726:2002 dan pemodelan SNI 1726:2019 yang memiliki momen terbesar. Perbedaan nilai momen yang dihasilkan membuat desain tulangan lentur balok yang dibutuhkan berbeda, sehingga nilai momen kurvatur dan daktilitas kurvatur yang dihasilkan juga berbeda. Kata kunci: Beban Gempa, SNI 1726, Tulangan, Momen Kurvatur, Daktilitas Kurvatur.

Abstract

Development of children's literature and the interrelation of gastronomic knowledge in the context of Sundanese culture as a basis for developing digestible books into novelties from the library research carried out. Therefore, the aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive overview of the process of developing children's literature teaching materials that contextualize Sundanese culture as an effort to increase cultural literacy in elementary school (SD) students. This research uses the library research method to reveal several research findings including: (1) Basic concepts of early literacy; (2) The decodable book as a manifestation of early literacy learning in elementary school; (3) Characteristics of the decodable book category (B2); (4) Urgency of Cultural Literacy; (5) Elements of Sundanese Culture (6) Gastronomy in the context of Sundanese Culture; (7) Development of the decodable book based on Local Sundanese Cultural Wisdom. The library research method is considered an appropriate method to support meta-analysis results in several relevant previous studies supported by various theoretical studies from various sources and supporting government policies related to the focus of this research. The results of the research conducted revealed that book development can be explicitly identified through BSKAP No.030/P/2022 concerning Guidelines for book leveling, although there has been no discussion comprehensively. The results of this literature study produce propositions that can be followed up in other, more complex research.

Abstract

Alat pendeteksi kandungan alkohol melalui hembusan napas manusia dibuat menggunakan sensor MQ-3 yang dikombinasikan dengan mikroprosesor Arduino sebagai pengolah datanya, sedangkan untuk menampilkan hasil pendeteksiannya menggunakan layar LCD. Arduino akan memulai kontrol pada perangkat input dan output sesuai coding yang telah diunggah pada Arduino. Sensor MQ-3 membaca kandungan alkohol berdasarkan perubahan resistansi dan mengirimkan sinyal analog ke pin analog Arduino. Hasil pembacaan sensor diterima oleh Arduino dan dikategorikan sesuai ukuran pembacaan sensor, apabila pembacaan ≤ 410, maka Arduino memberi perintah pada LED hijau untuk menyala dan menampilkan kategori “aman” pada layar LCD. Apabila hasil pembacaan >410 dan <490, maka Arduino memberi perintah pada LED kuning untuk menyala, Buzzer berbunyi berulang dan menampilkan kategori “waspada” pada layar LCD. Apabila hasil pembacaan >490, maka Arduino memberi perintah pada LED merah dan Buzzer untuk menyala serta menampilkan kategori “bahaya” pada layar LCD. Hasil pengujian alat deteksi kandungan alkohol melalui hembusan napas manusia dengan metode pendekatan menggunakan sampel larutan uji berkadar alkohol 5%, 205 dan 40% dapat terbaca dengan baik dan memberikan hasil sesuai kategori yang telah ditentukan pada perancangan.

Abstract

Perbaikan genetik klon kopi robusta anjuran menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas klon kopi robusta di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi klon-klon kopi Robusta melalui karakterisasi morfologi dan pendekatan digital image. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Sumber Asin, Malang dan Laboratorium Pemuliaan Tanaman. Bahan genetik tanaman terdiri dari lima klon robusta yaitu BP 308, BP 409, BP 534, BP 936, BP 939 sebagai faktor perlakuan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok lengkap faktor tunggal yaitu klon dengan tiga ulangan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan klon kopi Robusta memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata pada semua karakter kuantitatif kecuali pada karakter jumlah cluster per cabang, panjang daun, dan lebar buah. Perbedaan nyata juga ditunjukkan pada karakter digital image yaitu nilai Red dan nilai Green pada fase daun muda dan daun dewasa. Hasil pengelompokan menunjukkan bahwa grup pertama terdiri dari BP 939 dan grup kedua terdiri dari BP 308, BP 409, BP 936, dan BP 534. Grup kedua memiliki dua subgrup dengan jarak ketidakmiripan 30%. Subgrup 1 terdiri dari BP 308, sedangkan subgrup 2 terdiri dari BP 409, BP 936, dan BP 534. Berdasarkan studi ini, informasi terkait kekerabatan klon-klon kopi Robusta yang telah dilepas dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk program persilangan masa depan.

Abstract

There is increasing interest of Indonesian coffee farmers to propagate coffee plants by using generative seeds due to easiness on distribution and production.The harvest time of coffee seed and the time for sowing/planting is separated by six months. This requires coffee seeds to be stored at least for the period.Technology for coffee storage is challenging due to the characteristic of coffee seeds as intermediate seeds which are sensitive to drying. The development of efficient and effective storage methods for coffee seeds is urgently needed. This study was aimed to evaluate the germination viability and quality of coffee seedlings obtained from the seeds that have been stored for up to 12 months in the warehouse. This study employed five coffee varieties including three Arabica coffee (USDA 762, P 88, and Gayo 1), and two Robusta coffee (propellegitim and Hibiro). One kilogram package of each variety (four replications) was stored in the warehouse at a temperature of 20 °C ± 2 °C. Each replication of the coffee seeds was then evaluated for germination viability and seedling quality on 0, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months of storage. Fresh coffee seeds (without storage) were used for comparison. The results showed a decrease in seeds’ moisture content during storage. Arabica coffee seeds were able to maintain their viability after six months of storage and Robusta coffee seeds after three months. Fresh coffee seeds showed the best seedling growth performance and seedling quality index. Arabica coffee USDA 762 stored for six months was able to produce seedlings with high plant performance, root length, stem diameter, and number of leaves similar to that of seedlings generated from fresh seed. Robusta coffee seedlings sown from fresh seeds had better quality compared to those from stored ones.

Abstract

The world of work considers that graduates with high competence are those who have technical skills, soft skills and good behavior. In addition to attaching importance to the aspect of ability to acquire and work together to compete in the labor market competition, the concept of personal branding is important as a tool to win the competition. A friendly and always confident character coupled with problem-solving skills has become a personal branding for a student to be ready to face competition in the world of work. In addition to personal branding in the real world, it turns out that personal branding in cyberspace is no less important as a digital footprint that continues to be recorded. The current aspect of social media is quite a consideration for new HR recruiters in every company. The collection of research data was carried out online through a google form using a structured questionnaire. A total of 52 research samples were recruited using the purposive sampling method. This study uses the SmartPLS statistical analysis tool to process data. The results of the study show that soft skills and social media from students have a significant positive effect on student work readiness. Meanwhile, daily behavior is considered to have no effect on students' work readiness. The value of R2 = 0.471 explains that around 47% of the variance of the student work readiness variable is caused by the soft skill variable and student social media in the model.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang rawan terjadi gempa bumi karena berada pada kawasan dengan aktivitas vulkanik dan tektonik yang tinggi. Umumnya, pada daerah yang rawan terjadi gempa bumi bangunan akan didesain dengan bentuk yang beraturan. Akan tetapi, seiring berjalannya waktu kebutuhan manusia akan fungsi bangunan yang semakin beragam dan keinginan akan nilai estetika yang semakin tinggi menuntut bangunan tidak selalu bisa didesain dengan bentuk yang beraturan. Hal ini yang kemudian akan melahirkan sebuah konsep bernama bangunan tidak beraturan atau irregular building. Bangunan tidak beraturan atau irregular building memiliki kelemahan yaitu timbulnya torsi atau puntir pada struktur. Torsi atau puntir dapat timbul karena terdapat eksentrisitas yang merupakan jarak antara titik pusat massa dan kekakuan. Salah satu cara yang bisa digunakan untuk tetap memastikan bangunan irregular aman di daerah yang rawan terjadi gempa adalah dengan mengaplikasikan perkuatan bracing baja. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan peninjauan terhadap kinerja struktur menggunakan analisis pushover dan dilakukan peninjauan terhadap eksentrisitas pada struktur dengan denah struktur berbentuk T dan memiliki tinggi 10 lantai. Material yang digunakan adalah beton bertulang. Bangunan yang dimodelkan berfungsi sebagai apartemen dengan dua jenis fungsi ruang utama yaitu kamar dan gudang penyimpanan. Denah penggunaan fungsi ruang akan divariasikan dengan menempatkan gudang penyimpanan pada daerah tonjolan yang jauh dari pusat kekakuan (denah tipe 1) dan pada daerah utama yang dekat dari pusat kekakuan (denah tipe 2). Selain itu pada denah tipe 1, akan diaplikasikan 3 jenis variasi penggunaan perkuatan bracing baja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan bahwa denah tipe 2 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan denah tipe 1, dilihat dari eksentrisitas dan kinerja struktur terutama pada titik kinerjanya. Selain itu, didapatkan bahwa pengaplikasian perkuatan bracing baja pada denah tipe 1 memiliki pengaruh terhadap eksentrisitas dan kinerja struktur terutama pada titik kinerjanya.
