East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), as one of the provinces with great tourism potential, applies city branding as a new tourism territory. This study aims to analyze (1) the meaning of the tourism promotion video Exotism of Sabu Island NTT in more depth and detail and (2) how the information messages conveyed in the tourism promotion video helped to advance the city branding of East Nusa Tenggara. This research employed a qualitative description method using Fisher's narrative paradigm, which consists of an analysis of the coherence and fidelity aspects of the narrative. The results showed that the video narrative Exotism of Sabu Island NTT has been successful in promoting East Nusa Tenggara as a new tourism territory through effective city branding. This video highlights Sabu Island, with its rich historical exoticism, landscape, and diversity of local cultural wisdom, as part of the East Nusa Tenggara province's tourism program. The main message conveyed in this video is the excellence of Sabu Island tourism, namely the exoticism of history, landscape, and diversity of local cultural wisdom. This video incorporates aspects of coherence and fidelity of the narrative that are appropriate and effective at city branding. The substance of this research provides new proposals regarding regional tourism city branding policies uploaded through promotional videos by applying the aspects of coherence and accuracy.

Identity characterizes each individual, especially for scholars, both lecturers, and students. This study aims to explore the identity of Islamic fashion styles within the scope of higher education in the city of Semarang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research informants consisted of four lecturers and four students at private and public campuses in the city of Semarang. The findings of this study indicate that one way to express an identity for muslim scholars to use islamic clothing or clothing. Clothing has now gone beyond its function to protect the body but has become a means of communication that can express one's identity. With the development of the times, clothing also has a role that changes with time. Now islamic fashion is a necessity for muslim scholars to follow trends while maintaining self-respect and covering their aurat (i.e. body parts required by Islam to be covered).

Gojek is one of the multi-service technology platforms co-founded by native Indonesian. In their eight-year, Gojek expands its service to other markets in Vietnam. Although Indonesia and Vietnam are both located in the Southeast Asian region and have the same climate with the majority of the citizens who work as farmers and fishers, Indonesia and Vietnam certainly have a series of differences such as language,  culture, and religion. This study explores the intercultural sensitivity of Gojek drivers who went to Vietnam to meet fellow Goviet drivers. Together, they enjoy the beauty of the country and experience Vietnamese culture, which is shown in the GO-INTERNATIONAL YouTube video. This study used Bannett’s theory of the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS) by the content analysis method to analyze the intercultural sensibility value on the Gojek “GO-INTERNATIONAL†video. The results indicate four stages such as minimization, acceptance, adaptation, and integration. This ad shows the bonds found in different cultural backgrounds and the ethnorelativism of Gojek drivers towards Goviet drivers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat komunikasi KPPPA melalui situs resimnya dalam mengeduksi pembaca tentang peran pengasuhan dan peran kontrol dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori peran komunikasi keluarga dari Beth A. Le Poire. Penelitian dilakukan dari Mei hingga Agustus 2019 dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi sistematik dari Berelson. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah KPPPA telah memproduksi artikel-artikel di situs resminya secara seimbang mengenai peran pengasuhan dan peran kontrol dalam keluarga, namun situs resmi KPPPA sendiri belum dapat menjaring pembaca secara luas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa humas KPPPA telah tepat dalam memproduksi konten mengenai komunikasi keluarga.

Tidak memiliki jamban memaksa keluarga miskin buang air besar sembarangan (BABS). Hal tersebut meningkatkan risiko terjadinya masalah gizi kronis sehingga mengakibatkan terhambatnya pertumbuhan pada anak (stunting), yakni tinggi badan anak lebih rendah atau pendek (kerdil) dari standar usianya. Opsi kredit jamban keluarga tersedia bagi keluarga miskin yang belum mampu membangun sarana sanitasi dasar ini. Namun, kurangnya promosi dan karakter calon nasabah mengakibatkan sedikit lembaga keuangan yang menawarkan kredit jamban. Berbagi peran dengan stakeholders terkait untuk menerapkan fitur kredit yang lebih ‘ramah’ bagi keluarga miskin serta penyediaan insentif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepemilikan jamban melalui keterlibatan lembaga keuangan.

The digital payment system had increased rapidly, especially when Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) entered Indonesia. Increasing technological advances have shifted people's preference towards cashless transaction activities. These days, money is known to have spread viruses such as COVID-19. In order to support the National Economic Recovery program, Bank Indonesia (BI) developed Contactless QRIS, which allows users to make contactless payments with merchants during the COVID-19 pandemic. BI positions its products in the eyes of consumers by using the internet and YouTube social media as a platform that plays a vital role in framing society's paradigm towards a reality, thus influencing people's attitudes. The research problem is aimed to know and analyze the content analysis of advertising "Using Contactless QRIS Practically" on the BI YouTube channel. This study aimed to analyze the content of BI advertising entitled "Using Contactless QRIS Practically." Researchers used Means-End Chain (MEC) Theory. This study used descriptive qualitative research with the content analysis method. The research has shown that based on content analysis, this advertising was persuasive and educative.

The holy month of Ramadan is a month that is highly anticipated by the people of Indonesia. We can find various kinds of messages during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This certainly encourages many people to compete to present unique and creative messages, one of which is by using advertising media. One of the food categories that uses television as marketing media is syrup products. They are competing to make an advertisement that is interesting and of course unique so that it can attract the interest of the wider community. In 2017-2020, ABC became one of the syrups that Indonesians are interested in. The advertisement that is currently appearing, namely the ABC syrup ad ‘Berbagi Rasa Kebersamaan Dibulan Ramadhan’ will be examined using John Bateman's multimodal semiotics using interpretive qualitative methods. Through this research, the meaning contained in the advertisement namely concern for fellow family. Therefore, this research can be seen how the ABC syrup advertisement promotes its products as a brand that cares about the moment of Ramadan in the advertisement of Sharing the Feelings of Togetherness in the Month of Ramadan.

Penelitian ini berjudul hubungan komunikasi partisipatif dan modal social terhadap keberlanjutan ekologi ekowisata mangrove desa teluk naga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan komunikasi partisipatif dan modal sosial terhadap keberlanjutan ekologi di ekowisata mangrove di desa teluk naga, kecamatan teluk naga, kabupaten Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung oleh pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota pengurus Ekowisata Teluk Naga Tangerang yang berjumlah 32 responden dan semua anggota digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel 2016 dan IBM SPSS Statistics 25 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis 1 dapat diterima dengan ditunjukkan adanya hubungan yang cukup signifikan antara tingkat komunikasi parsitisipatif dengan tingkat keberlanjutan ekologi dan hipotesis 2 juga diterima, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh adanya hubungan yang yang kuat dan signifikan antara modal sosial dengan tingkat keberlanjutan ekologi dengan nilai koefisien korelasi dan nilai sig. Disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi komunikasi partisipatif maka semakin tinggi keberlanjutan ekologi Ekowisata Mangrove Desa Teluk Naga dan semakin tinggi modal sosial, maka semakin tinggi keberlanjutan keberlanjutan Ekologi Ekowisata Mangrove Desa Teluk Naga.

This article discusses the historical background of the formation of the Bangka Belitung islands as a province full of harmonization symbols, namely ethnic Chinese and Malays (Thongin Fangin Jit Jong). Based on historical searches using primary and secondary sources, it can be concluded that the arrival of the Chinese in Bangka as miners has made a mixture of Chinese and Malay ethnic groups in Bangka. Then, the assimilation was expressed with an attitude of solidarity between the two, which began with the arrival of the white nation in Bangka, causing a resistance between ethnic Chinese and Malays through the Bangka War led by Depati Amir. This was done because of the feelings of oppression and suffering experienced by ethnic Chinese and Malays at that time. Then, the attitude of solidarity did not stop at that moment, but when Bangka Belitung struggled to break away from South Sumatra. The participation of the entire community of the Bangka Belitung Islands together struggled to be able to provide prosperity. Therefore, historical ties become very important media in the formation of the symbol of harmonization.

Setiap tahun semakin banyak mahasiswa Indonesia yang memilih untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di luar negeri. Penyebaran mahasiswa Indonesia terjadi hampir di seluruh benua seperti Asia, Amerika, Eropa, dan Australia. Diaspora Indonesia merupakan julukan bagi warga Indonesia yang berada di luar negeri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat konstruksi dimensi kultural Hofstede menurut prespektif mahasiswa Indonesia yang melanjutkan studi di Benua Australia. Pengalaman terpenting ketika mahasiswa Indonesia di luar negeri sebagai representatif bangsa atau disebut dengan istilah “diaspora” memasuki wilayah baru, sehingga menjadi tantangan untuk menjaga identitas bangsa dalam berinteraksi dengan kultur baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fenomenologi berdasarkan pengalaman mahasiswa Indonesia selama berkomunikasi dengan sistem di Benua Australia, kemudian menggunakan paradigma dialektis yang merupakan kombinasi kognitif dan intrepretif di elaborasi dengan teori Dimensi Kultural prespektif Hostede. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebagai mahasiswa diaspora di Australia dapat mempertahankan dan merefleksikan identitas bangsa dengan baik. Mahasiswa Indonesia juga terus meningkatkan kapasitas diri untuk dapat diterapkan saat mereka kembali di Indonesia guna modal kapasitas untuk membangun bangsa setelah kembali dari studinya di Benua Australia. Rekomendasi penelitian ini mendorong diaspora Indonesia untuk selalu mampu menjaga identitas bangsa dengan baik dan belajar mengenai budaya yang baik dan secara akademik komunikasi lintas budaya bisa menjadi jembatan untuk adaptasi mahasiswa Indonesia selama berada di benua Australia.
