Abstract

The study of teaching Arabic models in Aliy Ma’had was necessary to be conducted. It could make contribution in designing Arabic teaching. The purpose of this research was to analyze the models of Arabic teaching. This research was field research which the researcher obtained and collected data from the research location.  Two types of data were used in this research namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from sheikh of Ma'had, 3 chiefs of Ma'had, 10 teachers, and 30 students. Secondary data was obtained from alumni, documents, and online news that was related to the topic. In collecting data, observation, interview, documentation, and FGD were used. Miles and Huberman model was used in this research. The results showed that the teaching Arabic in Aliy Ma’had consisted of four models. First, teaching Arabic with a conventional model: teaching that took place in official classes. Second, teaching Arabic with an extracurricular model: teaching that takes place outside the classroom and is supported by conventional teaching to improve both Arabic language skills. Third, teaching Arabic with the halaqiyah model: students learnt classical Islamic sciences by sitting on the floor in front of the teacher, which took place in the mosque after every evening and dawn prayers. Fourth, teaching Arabic with visiting teacher’s house where students studied further to strengthen scientific and spiritual connections. This research suggested the teacher and the institution in improving this topic to contribute Arabic teaching development in Aliy Ma’had.

Abstract

Pasang is a cultural product that contains the results of ancestral messages containing good knowledge in aspects of human life in this world and the afterlife. Pasang symbolizes experience, knowledge, and education inherent in the Kajang indigenous people. Therefore, it is always part of their way of life that influences their daily activities. This article aims to discuss Pasang: Challenges and Dynamics of Education in the Kajang Indigenous Community, South Sulawesi. This research uses qualitative methods, where the data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of research objects to be processed descriptively. Using the social science, anthropology, and ethnographic approach, this article shows the important position of Pasang for the Kajang indigenous community and the challenges and dynamics in education development in Indonesia. This article shows that Pasang is a cultural product that is in harmony with educational practices, formal and informal, but often clashes with structural, legal, and normative processes, for example, in educational institutions. The main result presented in this article is that Pasang can survive along with the modernization process despite various inhibiting and supporting factors. Another interesting thing is the value and meaning of Pasang, which is expected to go hand in hand with the world of education, which is structural, legal, and formal. Thus, Pasang does not eliminate the main function as a cultural and educational product among the indigenous community of Kajang.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah membuka berbagai peluang karier baru, khususnya di bidang Internet of Things (IoT) dan multimedia. Namun, kurangnya pemahaman generasi muda terhadap potensi karier di bidang tersebut menjadi kendala dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang adaptif terhadap era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai konsep dasar, penerapan, serta peluang karier dalam bidang IoT dan multimedia kepada siswa di salah satu SMK Swasta di kota Batam sehingga mereka berminat untuk melanjutkan studi dengan mengambil jurusan komputer. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi teknologi, dan diskusi kelompok untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh aspek yang diukur. Berdasarkan angket (kuesioner) dengan menggunakan penilaian skala Likert 5, di mana rata-rata skor pemahaman tentang IoT dari angket yang diberikan meningkat dari 2,1 menjadi 4,2, pemahaman multimedia dari 2,5 menjadi 4,4, minat terhadap karier teknologi dari 3,0 menjadi 4,5, dan keyakinan melanjutkan studi di bidang teknologi dari 2,8 menjadi 4,3. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang dirancang secara kontekstual dan interaktif mampu memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk persepsi serta motivasi pelajar terhadap karier di bidang teknologi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pembinaan karier berbasis teknologi di tingkat pendidikan menengah yang mendukung pengembangan ekosistem digital nasional secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims determine the Effect of Job Training and Discipline on Employee Performance at the Sibolga City Inspectorate Office. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative research method with a descriptive correlation approach. The sample in this study were employees at the Sibolga City Inspectorate Office with a questionnaire distribution of 85 (eighty-five) respondents. The results of the study show that based on the analysis of the determination coefficient obtained, it is 0.651, this means that what happens to the variation of the dependent variable Employee Performance (Variable Y) is 65.1% determined by the independent variables Job Training (Variable X1) and Discipline (Variable X2) simultaneously and the remaining 34.9% is determined by other factors not discussed in this study. From the results of the t-test in the study, it is known that the calculated t value of Job Training is 7.817, greater than the t table of 7.817 (7.817> 1.98932), then the Job Training variable (X1) has an effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Sibolga City Inspectorate Office, meaning Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted and Discipline is 4.885> t table 1.98932, then the Discipline variable (X2) has an effect on Employee Performance at the Sibolga City Inspectorate Office, meaning Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, from the results of the F test, it is known that the calculated F value is 76.553> F table 3.11 and the significance is 0.000 <0.05 so that the hypothesis stating that Job Training and Discipline have a significant effect together or simultaneously on Employee Performance at the Sibolga City Inspectorate Office can be accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of a laying hen farm in Pure 2 Hamlet, Sinyonyoi Village, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency, using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP) indicators, with income varying each semester. The Payback Period (PP) is 4.24 months, the Net Present Value (NPV) is positive at Rp 1,137,000,233, and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is very high (140.7% per semester or 479.4% per year). These results indicate that the Awing Laying Hen Farm is financially viable and has great potential for success

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan perbedaan fonologi dan leksikon dialek Lakiung (LK) dan dialek Konjo (KJ) bahasa Makassar serta menginvetarisasi status kebahasaan dan peta dialek pada dialek Konjo dan dialek Lakiung bahasa Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan metode cakap dan metode simak. Sumber data penelitian adalah data lapangan dan data kepustakaan diperoleh melalui instrumen penelitian berupa 200 kosakata dasar Morrish Swadesh. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif (dialektometri) dan secara kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan skala dialektometri fonologi dan leksikal pada 8 medan makna yang berbeda dengan persentase 19%, termasuk dalam kategori perbedaan bahasa, pada skala dialektometri leksikal dengan persentase 32.5% termasuk kategori perbedaan subdialek. Maka, hasil perhitungan dialektometri perbedaan secara keseluruhan terdapat 103 perbedaan kosataka dengan persentase 51.5%, sehingga ditentukan bahwa status kebahasan dialek Konjo dan dialek Lakiung adalah kategori perbedaan dialek.Kata kunci : Kekerabatan, Dialektologi, Dialek Bahasa MakassarAbstractThis research aims to find the difference between the phonology and lexicon of the Lakiung (LK) and Konjo (KJ) Makassar dialects as well as inventory linguistic status and dialect maps in Konjo dialect and Lakiung dialect of the Makassar language. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. Data collection in the study used the proficient method and the listening method. Sources of research data are field data and library data obtained through research instruments in the form of 200 Morrish Swadesh basic vocabulary. Data were analyzed quantitatively (dialectometry) and qualitatively.   The results of the analysis show that the calculation of the phonological and lexical dialectometry scales on 8 different meaning fields with a percentage of 19%, included in the category of language differences, on the lexical dialectometry scale with a percentage of 32.5% including the category of subdialect differences. Thus, the results of the dialectometry calculation of differences in overall there are 103 differences in vocabulary with a percentage of 51.5%, so it is determined that the linguistic status of Konjo dialect and Lakiung dialect is a category of dialect differences. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia's economy but often face challenges in marketing their products, especially in the digital era. This study aims to design and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing training for MSME activists in Sangatta District, East Kalimantan. The research methodology uses a mixed-methods approach with 50 MSME actors as subjects. The training conducted includes the basics of digital marketing, the use of social media, content creation, search engine optimization (SEO), and data analysis.The results show a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills in digital marketing. Additionally, the training successfully increased sales and product visibility of MSMEs. Training participants began adopting digital marketing strategies and using data analytics for more effective decision-making. These positive impacts indicate that digital marketing training can be an effective solution to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of MSME businesses. This study recommends the implementation of advanced training and continuous support for MSME actors, as well as collaboration between the government, universities, and the private sector to provide necessary resources. Thus, MSMEs in other regions are expected to benefit from similar programs to face challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab tantangan rendahnya pemahaman mufradat bahasa Arab di kalangan siswa, yang menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat dalam penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa secara menyeluruh. Mufradat atau kosakata merupakan fondasi utama dalam memahami teks dan menyusun kalimat dalam bahasa Arab. Namun, siswa sering mengalami kesulitan mengingat dan memahami mufradat akibat metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan cenderung monoton. Salah satu pendekatan yang diyakini dapat mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah literasi visual, yakni pemanfaatan media visual seperti gambar, ilustrasi, dan video dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sejauh mana literasi visual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mufradat siswa kelas VIII MTs Swasta Baburrahmah Baebunta, Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dipilih secara purposive sebanyak 20 siswa yang memiliki tingkat pemahaman mufradat rendah berdasarkan hasil uji awal. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur penguasaan mufradat, lembar observasi untuk memantau keaktifan belajar, pedoman wawancara untuk menggali pendapat siswa, dan angket skala Likert untuk menilai minat belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada nilai rata-rata siswa dari 48 (pre-test) menjadi 85 (post-test), dengan nilai t hitung (11,4) > t tabel (2,093). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa literasi visual berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman mufradat. Selain itu, media visual juga meningkatkan minat belajar, keaktifan, dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of relaxation techniques in reducing Arabic language anxiety among students at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darul Mahfudz Lekopa’dis. The research aimed to assess (1) the students’ level of anxiety before the intervention, (2) the level of anxiety after the intervention, and (3) the effectiveness of relaxation techniques from a psycholinguistic perspective. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, the Arabic Language Anxiety Scale (SKBA), and the Arabic Speaking Proficiency Assessment Rubric (RPKBA). The sample consisted of 46 seventh-grade students divided into an experimental group (n=21) receiving relaxation techniques—breathing dhikr, positive visualization, relaxed role-playing, and staged muhadatsah—and a control group (n=25) undergoing conventional learning. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests and ANCOVA. The results revealed that students’ anxiety levels before the intervention were in the moderate to high range (mean = 113.61). After the intervention, the experimental group showed a significant decrease in anxiety scores from 114.24 to 66.48 (a 42% reduction, t=6.491, p<0.001, Cohen’s d=0.957). Compared to the control group (post-test mean = 110.92), the effect size was huge (Cohen’s d = -4.012), with 85.7% of the experimental group achieving low-anxiety levels. Although the improvement in speaking performance showed a positive trend, it was not statistically significant (p=0.124). From a psycholinguistic viewpoint, reduced anxiety enhanced working memory and facilitated automatic language processing, supporting Krashen’s Affective Filter Hypothesis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kegiatan meronce sebagai salah satu metode untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada Anak Usia Dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak usia 4-5 tahun di sebuah Taman Kanak-Kanak. Kegiatan meronce dipilih karena melibatkan koordinasi mata dan tangan serta keterampilan jari yang kompleks. Kegiatan ini juga menawarkan variasi dalam bentuk, ukuran, dan warna manik-manik, yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik dan motivasi anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru, dan dokumentasi hasil karya anak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan meronce secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus Anak Usia Dini. Anak-anak menunjukkan peningkatan dalam ketepatan dan kecepatan saat memasukkan manik-manik ke dalam tali, serta peningkatan dalam konsentrasi dan ketekunan. Guru juga melaporkan bahwa kegiatan ini membantu anak-anak untuk lebih fokus dan sabar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kegiatan meronce efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar kegiatan meronce dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-Kanak sebagai salah satu metode untuk mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menyarankan pengembangan variasi kegiatan meronce yang lebih kreatif dan menarik untuk menjaga minat dan motivasi anak.
