Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of tourist income, travel time, travel costs on the number of tourist visits to Gili Trawangan. Data collection was carried out using primary data (questionnaires) which were filled out by visitors to tourist attractions on Gili Trawangan. Data processing uses classical assumption tests (normality test, reliability test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test), multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The research results show that the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.72. The research results simultaneously show that tourist income, travel time, travel costs and attractiveness have a significant effect on the number of tourist visits. The research results show that partially income, travel time, travel costs and attractiveness have a significant effect on the number of tourist visits. It is hoped that tourist attraction managers will continue to innovate so that they always have attractions that can make tourists come back to tourist attractions on Gili Trawangan.

Abstract

This research investigates the dynamics of soybean agribusiness in East Java through the lens of crop productivity, farmer income, supporting infrastructure, and institutional performance. A sample of 150 participants representing diverse scales of farming and geographic regions was surveyed to gather insights. Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to analyze the relationships among variables. The study confirmed positive and significant associations between crop productivity and farmer income, supporting infrastructure and crop productivity, and supporting infrastructure and institutional performance. Discriminant validity was established, and model fit indices indicated the reliability of the proposed structural model. Hypothesis testing further validated the impact of the availability of supporting infrastructure, farmer income, and plant productivity on institutional performance. The findings offer practical insights for policymakers, farmers, and stakeholders to optimize soybean agribusiness in East Java.

Abstract

This research investigates the intricate relationships between the regulatory environment, social capital, infrastructure, and entrepreneurial success in Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs). Employing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis on a diverse sample of 200 businesses, the study unravels the direct and indirect effects of these factors. Results indicate that a favorable regulatory environment, robust social capital, and adequate infrastructure significantly contribute to the success of MSMEs. Furthermore, social capital and infrastructure act as mediators, magnifying the impact of the regulatory environment on entrepreneurial success. These findings carry practical implications for policymakers and practitioners seeking to enhance the MSME ecosystem in Indonesia

Abstract

The dynamics of drug addiction prevention and treatment initiatives in East Java, Indonesia's metropolitan neighborhoods are examined in this study. The study uses structural equation modeling to examine the connections between economic circumstances, social support, health service accessibility, and efforts for drug misuse prevention and treatment, utilizing a sample of 140 people. Strong validity and reliability are demonstrated by the measurement methodology, confirming the effectiveness of the chosen indicators. The results of the structural model demonstrate complex relationships: social support emerges as a key component, although economic variables and health services show favorable links. The study's recommendations for multimodal interventions that tackle economic inequality, improve healthcare accessibility, and bolster community-based initiatives have consequences for both policy and practice. Despite its limitations, this study provides important new understandings of the intricate field of drug misuse intervention treatments and paves the way for more research.

Abstract

This research delves into the dynamic interplay between demographic changes and public consumption patterns within the tourism industry of Denpasar City. A sample of 260 participants, strategically stratified across key demographic variables, provides a nuanced understanding of the city's evolving population dynamics and the spending behaviors of residents and tourists. The findings reveal a mean annual population growth rate of 2.5%, a notable shift towards a younger demographic, and a rich cultural diversity within the city. Tourist expenditure, with a mean spending of USD 80 per visitor, illustrates key allocation trends across accommodation, dining, and activities. Regression analysis demonstrates significant correlations between demographic variables (age, income, cultural background, and educational attainment) and spending patterns. The results underscore the importance of adaptive strategies for stakeholders to cater to diverse preferences and foster sustainable tourism development in Denpasar City.

Abstract

This research investigates the complex interplay of economic factors, health conditions, and access to education on social inequality and poverty in West Papua through a quantitative analysis. The study, conducted with a sample of 150 participants, employs correlation and regression analyses, supported by SPSS, to unveil significant relationships and dynamics within the socio-economic landscape of the region. Key findings reveal a strong negative correlation between income distribution and poverty rates, emphasizing the pivotal role of economic factors in poverty alleviation. Additionally, a positive correlation between disease prevalence and social inequality underscores the impact of health disparities on socio-economic outcomes. The study also highlights the transformative potential of education, with a robust positive correlation between school enrollment rates and economic well-being. These findings have direct implications for policy formulation, emphasizing the need for integrated approaches that address the synergies and trade-offs among economic, health, and education indicators. The study contributes substantively to the discourse on social inequality and poverty in West Papua, providing empirical evidence to guide evidence-based decision-making.
