Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the strategies for implementing career guidance using modeling techniques at SMK Muhammadiyah Kota Cirebon; (2) identify the obstacles encountered in the implementation of career guidance strategies using modeling techniques; and (3) examine the benefits of implementing these strategies for students in career planning. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal, guidance and counseling teachers, and 10 students of SMK Muhammadiyah Kota Cirebon who participated in career guidance services. Data were collected through in-depth interviews to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the strategies for implementing career guidance using modeling techniques. The results indicate that career guidance strategies using modeling techniques are effective in bridging students’ readiness from the school environment to the world of work and professional life in a more mature manner. The obstacles identified include limited time for coordination with industry partners, the need to update practical facilities, and differences in students’ characteristics. To address these challenges, the school has undertaken various efforts, such as strengthening internal coordination, providing individual guidance, and improving facilities that support career guidance services. The benefits of implementing this strategy include increased self-understanding, enhanced career knowledge, improved motivation, and greater readiness among students in planning their future careers.

Abstract

Online product reviews play a major role in the success or failure of an e-commerce business. In a transaction, buyers will usually find out information on the use of the product or service from online reviews posted by previous customers to get detailed product recommendations and make purchase decisions. Many reviews are created by users who often include strong sentimental opinions. This review of data is very promising and can be used by both customers and the Company. Customers can read reviews to know more about the quality of a product. However, due to the large number of reviews, it is difficult to see and read all consumer evaluations personally to get useful information. One effective approach in providing such recommendations is using Collaborative Filtering (CF) algorithms. This research aims to improve e-commerce platforms by applying Collaborative Filtering algorithms to provide more accurate and relevant product recommendations to users.

Abstract

The development of social media has positioned platform X (Twitter) as a primary source for expressing public opinion toward government figures and policies. This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward two Indonesian public figures, Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, by utilizing the transformer-based IndoBERTweet model. The data were collected from January 1, 2025, to November 1, 2025. A total of 11,000 tweets related to Sri Mulyani were collected; however, only 2,500 tweets were used for data processing and model training, with a maximum limit of 1,000 tweets per month. Meanwhile, 650 tweets were obtained for Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. This research employs a supervised learning approach with labeled data consisting of positive, negative, and neutral sentiment classes. Minimal preprocessing was applied, considering that IndoBERTweet is specifically designed to handle the characteristics of social media text. The model was trained for five epochs and evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results indicate that the IndoBERTweet model can classify sentiment effectively, particularly on the Sri Mulyani dataset, which contains a larger volume of data and achieves an accuracy of over 82%. In contrast, the model’s performance on the Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa dataset shows a lower accuracy of 71%, influenced by the limited amount of data. This study confirms that the quantity and distribution of data significantly affect the performance of transformer-based sentiment analysis models. Based on the sentiment classification results, public sentiment toward Sri Mulyani Indrawati tends to be dominated by negative and neutral sentiments, while sentiment toward Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa shows a distribution dominated by neutral and positive sentiments.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan ketrampilan praktis dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi untuk remaja di Kampung Kadu saat era digital sangat penting. Kegiatan pelatihan membuat sablon kaos dan gelas menjadi salah satu kegiatan pemberdayaan remaja yang sangat dibutuhkan akibat permintaan sablon kaos dan gelas terus meningkat. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar mengenai teknik sablon, mulai dari proses perancangan desain, persiapan alat dan bahan, hingga tahapan produksi pada media kaos dan gelas. Metode pelatihan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah, pendekatan praktik langsung (hands-on training), demonstrasi instruktur, dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan produk sablon. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta sebanyak 47 orang mampu memahami proses kerja sablon secara keseluruhan dan menghasilkan produk yang layak jual. Selain peningkatan keterampilan teknis, pelatihan ini juga mendorong tumbuhnya minat berwirausaha di kalangan remaja. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas, kemandirian, serta potensi ekonomi melalui pemanfaatan industri kreatif

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh konservatisme akuntansi dan corporate governance yang diproksikan dengan kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, komisaris independen dan komite audit terhadap kualitas laba. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 28 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yang menerbitkan laporan keuangan dari tahun 2014-2016. Metode analisis dari penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Konservatisme akuntansi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas laba (2) kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas laba (3) kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas laba (4) komisaris indepeden berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas laba (5) komite audit berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas laba.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Endometriosis, which often causes infertility, is characterized by a complex interplay between oxidative stress, inflammatory response, and apoptosis. Currently, the most effective therapy used for endometriosis is hormonal treatments, however it has many common side effects. Therefore, it is necessary to explore alternative treatments for endometriosis, including herbal ingredients. Phaleria macrocarpa fruit contains flavonoids with strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which have potency to improve fertility in endometriosis cases. However, assessments of whether P. macrocarpa might have any effect on oxidative stress, inflammatory response, and apoptosis in relation to endometriosis are still limited. This study was conducted to identify the effect of P. macrocarpa fruit ethanol extract (PMFEE) in improving infertility by assessing oxidative stress, inflammatory response, and apoptosis parameters in endometriosis mice model.METHODS: Female Balb/C mice were endometriosis-induced, and treated either with 6.5 µg/day Letrozole, 7.5 mg/kgBW/day PMFEE, or 15 mg/kgBW/day PMFEE for 14 days. Heatlhy mice were also included as control. Mice were necropsied, then the uterus and fat tissue around the uterus was collected. Malondialdehyde (MDA) as oxidative stress marker, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α as inflammatory marker, and Caspase-3 as apoptosis marker were assessed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).RESULTS: In uterus, MDA and TNF-α levels were significantly different among all groups (p<0.05). PMFEE both at 7.5 and 15 mg/kgBW/day lowered MDA and TNF-α compared to the healthy mice and mice receiving Letrozol. Meanwhile, Caspase-3 levels were quite indifferent among groups, showing that PMFEE was able to maintain the Caspase-3 levels in the endometriosis-induced mice.CONCLUSION: PMFEE reduces the MDA and TNF-α, also maintains Caspase-3 levels in the uterus of endometriosis-induced mice, suggesting it might have potential to improve fertility in endometriosis mice.KEYWORDS: Phaleria macrocarpa, endometriosis, infertility, MDA, TNF-α, Caspase-3

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi Pleurotus ostreatus varietas Grey oyster sebagai agen biokontrol terhadap fungi patogen pada bulir padi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kultur ganda secara in vitro dengan desain true experimental. Identifikasi fungi patogen menunjukkan karakteristik morfologi yang sesuai dengan genus Rhizoctonia. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa Pleurotus ostreatus mampu bertahan hidup dalam interaksi kompetitif, namun tidak menunjukkan zona bening sebagai indikator antibiosis. Rata-rata diameter pertumbuhan fungi patogen mencapai 5,1 mm pada hari ke-7, sedangkan Pleurotus ostreatus hanya 2,6 mm. Persentase hambatan menunjukkan nilai negatif hingga -111,95%, menandakan dominasi patogen dalam kompetisi ruang dan nutrisi. Meskipun daya antagonis tergolong rendah, Pleurotus ostreatus tetap memiliki potensi sebagai agen biokontrol yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui optimasi kondisi lingkungan.

Abstract

Global economic growth in 2020 contracted by 3.5% from the previous growth of 2.8% in 2019. This contraction was caused by the Covid pandemic - 19 which is not only a health crisis but also a social and economic crisis. To reduce economic pressure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, governments around the world have issued massive and extraordinary stimuli in the form of fiscal stimulus, monetary stimulus, and relaxation policies in the financial services sector. The Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for the business world, including Islamic banking and conventional banking in Indonesia. Financial performance is an important measure of whether there is an increase in financial companies or vice versa. The data used in this study is secondary data and uses quantitative methods at the time of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The study's results show that based on the average (mean) result of each ratio, the financial performance of Conventional Commercial Banks based on LDR/FDR, CAR, NOM/NIM, and NPL/NPF is better than Islamic Commercial Banks. Meanwhile, based on the BOPO and ROA ratios, the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks is better than Conventional Commercial Banks. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, it is known that the six ratios have significant differences between the financial performance of Conventional Commercial Banks and Islamic Commercial Banks based on LDR/FDR, NPF/NPL.NOM/NIM, ROA, CAR, and BOPO

Abstract

The role of good leadership tends to diminish, likewise with employee motivation which influences low employee performance. A decrease in employee performance has a significant impact on employee work results. This condition affects the profits generated by the company. If this happens continuously, of course, there will be a deficit that the company will experience. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance, the influence of work motivation on employee performance, to determine the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination test or R square value are 0.726, so it can be concluded that leadership style and work motivation have a strong influence on employee performance. The results of hypothesis testing regarding the influence of leadership style on employee performance resulted in the t-count of leadership style being 2.508 > 1.998 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between leadership style on employee performance. The influence of work motivation on employee performance results in a t-count of work motivation of 2.878 > 1.998 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between work motivation and employee performance. The hypothesis test (F test) produces F - count > F - table, namely 5.133 > 2.36. This means that there is a significant simultaneous influence between the variables of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh etos kerja dan pengalaman kerja terhadap prestasi kerja pekerja produksi di PT Trias Indra Saputra. Populasi penelitian adalah pekerja produksi di PT Trias Indra Saputra dengan menggunakan metode sampling jenuh yaitu seluruh responden berjumlah 85 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dan survei. Data kuesioner kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Korelasi parsial antara disiplin kerja (X1) dengan pekerja produksi (Y) menunjukkan nilai R-square sebesar 0,695 yang berarti proporsi disiplin kerja (X1) dengan pekerja produksi (Y) sebesar 69,5%. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 30,5% berasal dari faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Apabila nilai R-square fungsi parsial kemampuan kerja (X2) pekerja produksi (Y) sebesar 0,788 maka berarti fungsi parsial kemampuan kerja (X2) pekerja produksi (Y) sebesar 78,8%. Berdasarkan hasil statistik koefisien determinasi simultan, terlihat bahwa hubungan antara disiplin kerja (X1) dan kemampuan kerja (X2) signifikan terhadap pekerja produksi (Y). Hubungan antara disiplin kerja (X1) dan kemampuan kerja (X2) sebesar 85,3%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 14,5% berasal dari faktor lain yang belum diteliti. Hasil uji statistik hipotesis uji-F simultan menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja (X1) dan keterampilan kerja (X2) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan (Y). .
