Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of supply chain management (SCM) in addressing production constraints and increasing black tea production at PT Perkebunan Tambi, where demand exceeds supply, causing operational inefficiencies. Methods: A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving systematic observations, documentation, and interviews with key informants from the production and marketing divisions. This approach enabled a detailed analysis of phenomena affecting supply chain activities and production processes. Results: The findings indicate that the implementation of SCM at PT Perkebunan Tambi is suboptimal due to recurring constraints in key areas, including machinery reliability, transportation of tea shoots, workforce readiness, and inventory management. The primary bottleneck lies in the aging machinery, which, despite regular maintenance, fails to perform effectively, leading to production delays and reduced output. These challenges hinder the alignment of production capacity with market demand, creating a supply-demand gap. Novelty: This study highlights the critical link between aging infrastructure and supply chain inefficiencies, emphasizing the need for strategic machine renewal and improved inventory management to sustain continuous operations and meet growing market demands. The research provides actionable insights into overcoming production challenges through enhanced SCM practices, contributing to the literature on supply chain optimization in tea production industries.

Abstract

Numerous conflicts have arisen since the Omnibus Law-based Job Creation Law was passed, particularly in the environmental cluster. In this instance, it is evident in the environmental cluster of Article 22 Number 33 of the Job Creation Law, where the phrase "without the need to prove elements of error" is omitted, leading to ambiguity in its meaning. Subsequently, the legal ramifications for law enforcement, settlement quality, and environmental preservation; following this, the legal ramifications for land fire and forest fire incidents; and last, the indirect legal ramifications for environmental legal politics. As the owner of the authority, the government should review and revise the Job Creation Law in the environmental cluster and strengthen the law enforcement system in order to achieve justice and a sustainable development without ignoring the protection and management of the environment so that its sustainability is always maintained both now and in the future. This is because the government is best suited to manage matters like these, which have connections to law enforcement and other important legal components. It's likely that the data from this study will be useful for future research on the environment or other subjects..

Abstract

Bangkalan district is the closest district to the city of Surabaya than the cities on the island of Madura. This is an extraordinary potential of the economic sector, especially in the halal tourism sector. There are several tourist destinations that can be conceptualized in Bangkalan district, one of which is Jaddhih Hill Tourism which is located in Jaddhih village, Socah district, Bangkalan district. This destination is a tourist destination that explores the nature that exists in the village. This destination has not conceptually been conceptualized as a halal tourist destination, but considering that this is a 100% Muslim population, it certainly has its own potential to become a halal destination. With the SWOT analysis method, this research tries to analyze in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges to be conceptualized as a halal tourist destination. The results of the calculations from IFAS and EFAS that have been carried out show the score value, namely Strengths of 3.13, Weaknesses of 2.24, Opportunities Factors of 3.31, Challenges Factors (Threats) of 2 ,33. So it can be concluded that the Bukit Jaddhih Tourism Object is very possible to be used as a Halal tourism village destination by approaching office holders both at the village level and at the government level. The challenges and weaknesses that need to be addressed are the availability of facilities to the location, security and public transportation that does not yet exist to the location as well as several matters relating to the development of these destinations
