Abstract

This study aims to determine the dominant conflict resolution style used by students with authoritarian parenting styles, as well as to determine the impact of students' psychological well-being on conflict resolution styles arising from authoritarian parenting styles. This study uses the five conflict resolution styles theory proposed by Thomas and Kilmann to determine the dominant conflict resolution style used, as well as the seven aspects of psychological well-being theory proposed by Carol Ryff as aspects to measure the impact of students' psychological well-being. The respondents in this study were selected using purposive sampling with the criteria of students who were raised with an authoritarian parenting style and still live with their parents. This study used a qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews with four students who experienced authoritarian parenting. The data analysis used in this study was the Miles and Huberman model through three main processes, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study found that this parenting style resulted in the formation of avoiding and accommodating conflict resolution styles among students. This had an impact on the psychological well-being of students. The six aspects of psychological well-being identified by Ryff show a tendency that psychological well-being has not developed optimally, especially in the aspects of self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, life purpose, and personal growth. This has an impact on students' psychological well-being. The six aspects of psychological well-being identified by Ryff show a tendency for psychological well-being to be underdeveloped, particularly in terms of self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, lpurpose in life, and personal growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor yang memengaruhi kemampuan mengelola talent peserta didik Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) serta implikasinya terhadap kesiapan menentukan cita-cita. Penelitian menggunakan studi literatur kualitatif dengan analisis tematik terhadap 12 artikel bereputasi yang diseleksi dari basis data Scopus (2016-2026, Social Sciences dan Psychology, artikel, bahasa Inggris, open access). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan talent dipengaruhi oleh interaksi faktor individu, dukungan lingkungan sekolah, peran guru dan konselor, fleksibilitas pembelajaran, pengalaman ekstrakurikuler, serta keterlibatan keluarga. Pengelolaan talent yang optimal berkontribusi pada peningkatan motivasi belajar, kepercayaan diri, serta kesiapan perencanaan karier peserta didik. Temuan menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan sistem pengelolaan talent yang terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan dalam ekosistem pendidikan MTs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the meaning of life among children with cancer and to examine the role of community guidance and counseling in their meaning-making process. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed. The participants were two female children under 18 years old diagnosed with bone cancer who had undergone transtibial amputation. Data were collected through observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation to ensure data trustworthiness. The findings reveal that both participants have discovered their meaning of life as reflected in Viktor Frankl’s three sources of values: creative, experiential, and attitudinal values. Creative values were expressed through drawing as a medium for emotional catharsis; experiential values were reflected in relational experiences and future aspirations shaped by their experiences as cancer patients; and attitudinal values were demonstrated through acceptance of their condition, resilience in undergoing treatment, and spiritual orientation. Community guidance and counseling played a significant role through group guidance, individual counseling, and psychoeducation and advocacy to enhance social support. These findings highlight that a community-based counseling approach contributes to strengthening the meaning of life and psychological well-being of children with cancer.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan prioritas utama dalam membentuk generasi penerus bangsa yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam landasan filosofis Ki Hajar Dewantara, khususnya konsep "Sistem Among" dan "Trilogi Pendidikan", serta implementasinya melalui peran guru sebagai "pamong" dalam membentuk budaya positif di sekolah. Menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka sistematis, penelitian ini menyintesis literatur relevan untuk memberikan interpretasi komprehensif mengenai hubungan antara filosofi, peran guru, dan budaya sekolah. Literatur dilakukan pada basis data Google Scholar, ERIC, DOAJ, Sinta, SpringerLink.Artikel yang dianalisis sebanyak 12 artikel dengan rentang tahun 2021–2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filosofi Ki Hajar Dewantara menyediakan kerangka kerja yang kokoh bagi guru untuk bertindak sebagai teladan, fasilitator, dan agen perubahan. Peran guru pamong, melalui keteladanan, motivasi, dan dorongan, secara signifikan berkontribusi pada penciptaan dan pemeliharaan budaya positif di sekolah, yang pada akhirnya membentuk karakter peserta didik secara holistik. Kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat juga esensial untuk pendidikan karakter yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara filosofi Ki Hajar Dewantara, peran guru sebagai pamong, dan budaya positif di sekolah merupakan kunci keberhasilan pendidikan karakter yang berdampak pada pembentukan karakter peserta didik secara holistik.

Abstract

Self-regulation is an individual’s ability to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behavior in a purposeful manner to achieve positive goals. This ability is crucial for adolescents in coping with social pressures and avoiding risky behaviors such as smoking. This study aims to analyze the need for educational media to enhance self-regulation as a preventive measure against smoking behavior among junior high school students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, limited to the needs analysis phase. The study subjects included 112 eighth-grade students and guidance and counseling teachers at a junior high school in Surabaya. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results indicated that students demonstrated a reasonably good level of self-regulation regarding the dangers of smoking; however, they still require more engaging and interactive educational media. Therefore, the development of technology-based media such as Augmented Reality and game-based learning has the potential to support guidance and counseling services in enhancing students’ self-regulation as a preventive measure against smoking behavior.

Abstract

This systematic review examines technology-enhanced pedagogical approaches in internet ethics education and their effectiveness in promoting safe online behavior among elementary school students within the context of increasing digitalization in education. Following the PRISMA guidelines, 15 peer-reviewed studies published between 2020 and 2025 were systematically identified, selected, and analyzed. The review focuses on various instructional strategies supported by digital technologies, including digital game-based learning, interactive learning programs, privacy literacy training, and collaborative school–parent interventions. The findings indicate that technology-mediated pedagogical approaches positively contribute to students’ digital literacy, ethical awareness, and self-efficacy in navigating online environments. In particular, game-based and interactive digital learning environments demonstrate strong potential in enhancing student engagement and facilitating the understanding of abstract ethical concepts. However, the review also reveals a persistent gap between knowledge acquisition and actual behavioral change. In addition, several methodological limitations were identified, including small sample sizes, short intervention durations, and limited cross-cultural generalizability. The results suggest that the effectiveness of internet ethics education depends largely on how digital technologies are meaningfully integrated into pedagogical design rather than used merely as instructional tools. A hybrid instructional approach that combines technology-enhanced learning with offline reinforcement and multi-stakeholder collaboration appears to offer more sustainable outcomes. This study contributes to the field of technology-enhanced pedagogy by synthesizing current evidence on the role of digital tools in shaping ethical learning and safe online behavior among young learners, while also identifying directions for future research.

Abstract

Modern marriages are faced with complex challenges, such as changing social values, economic pressures, hampered communication, and mental unpreparedness. Premarital guidance is a strategic solution in preparing couples to live a harmonious and sustainable married life. This article aims to analyze literature related to premarital guidance programs, especially in responding to the challenges of modern marriage. Based on a literature review, an effective premarital guidance program includes a holistic approach that involves spiritual, emotional, financial, and communication aspects. Additionally, the integration of technology, such as online courses and interactive applications, has been shown to increase program accessibility and appeal. A religious values-based approach, especially in the context of the sakinah family, also makes a significant contribution to building a deeper understanding of the purpose of marriage. Recommendations for program development include adaptation to the socio-cultural context, use of interactive media, involvement of multidisciplinary professionals, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. With a comprehensive approach, premarital guidance can be a strong foundation for overcoming the challenges of modern marriage while creating a harmonious and stable family.

Abstract

Violence in elementary schools has emerged as a critical national concern requiring systematic policy responses. Indonesia's Ministerial Regulation No. 46 of 2023 established School Violence Prevention and Handling Teams (TPPK) to create safe learning environments, yet implementation challenges persist across educational settings. This study analyzed TPPK policy implementation in Indonesian elementary schools using Edwards III's four-dimensional framework (communication, resources, disposition, bureaucratic structure) and examined local wisdom integration as a complementary violence prevention strategy. A systematic reflective literature review was conducted, synthesizing peer-reviewed journals, government regulations, and policy reports published primarily within 2019-2025. Content analysis employed Edwards III's theoretical dimensions to identify implementation patterns, challenges, and the role of cultural values. Findings revealed persistent implementation gaps attributable to inconsistent communication failing to build shared understanding, insufficient resource allocation constraining implementer capacity, dispositional orientations prioritizing compliance over commitment, and predominantly administrative bureaucratic structures. However, integration of Indonesian cultural values—gotong royong (mutual cooperation), tepa selira (empathetic respect), and musyawarah (deliberation)—demonstrated significant potential to strengthen implementer disposition and enhance policy effectiveness by fostering empathy and moral commitment. Effective TPPK implementation requires alignment across Edwards III's four dimensions, strengthened through cultural integration that transforms formal policies into contextually meaningful practices. Local wisdom functions as a mediating dimension permeating structural variables, suggesting that universal implementation theories require cultural adaptation across diverse sociocultural contexts to create safe, inclusive elementary school environments.

Abstract

Deep Learning policy implementation in Indonesia aims to transform pedagogical practices through mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning principles to develop holistic character aligned with Pancasila Student Profile dimensions. However, systematic analysis of implementation dynamics using comprehensive theoretical frameworks remains limited, particularly in elementary school contexts. This qualitative instrumental case study employed the Edwards III model to analyze Deep Learning policy implementation at SD Negeri 2 Kesamben involving 15 participants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, 18 classroom observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis with NVivo 14 software.  Findings revealed communication distortion from leadership (95% comprehension) to technical implementation (55%), resource disparities between trained (4.2) and untrained teachers (3.3), implementor disposition variations (75% positive, 25% neutral/resistant), and bureaucratic structure challenges in coordination. Deep Learning principles achieved 66.7%-100% implementation rates, yielding significant character development across eight dimensions, particularly collaboration (4.5), creativity (4.3), and communication (4.2). School culture emerged as a moderating factor facilitating implementation effectiveness. Results validate the Edwards III model's applicability in developing country contexts while identifying factor interactions and cultural dimensions as critical implementation determinants. Successful implementation requires simultaneous attention to communication clarity, capacity building, positive dispositions, and enabling bureaucratic structures within supportive organizational cultures. Findings provide practical guidance for schools implementing transformative pedagogical policies within Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum framework.

Project Based Learning (PjBL) represents a strategic approach for developing 21st-century competencies, yet its implementation success depends heavily on systematic policy execution. This research examines PjBL policy implementation at Ciputra Elementary School through Grindle's theoretical framework, encompassing policy content and implementation context dimensions.  A qualitative case study was conducted involving 62 teachers, 240 students (grades 4-6), and 12 management staff during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, then analyzed using Miles et al.'s interactive model with triangulation for validity. Policy content dimension achieved high success rates: program implementers (90%), benefits (88%), affected interests (85%), decision-making location (82%), degree of change (78%), and resources deployed (75%). Implementation context showed institutional characteristics (87%), implementer compliance and responsiveness (86%), and stakeholder dynamics (83%). Student learning outcomes demonstrated substantial improvements: collaboration (+28%), creativity (+24%), critical thinking (+24%), conceptual understanding (+20%), and communication (+20%), with large effect sizes (Cohen's d = 1.15-1.52). Findings validate Grindle's framework applicability in educational innovation contexts, demonstrating that implementation success emerges from the interplay between teacher capacity, organizational support, adequate resources, and stakeholder alignment. The research provides theoretical contributions to policy implementation literature and practical implications for schools adopting project-based approaches.
