Abstract

Bertambahnya usia menyebabkan penurunan fungsi fisiologis, sehingga lansia rentan terkena penyakit tidak menular, termasuk gout arthritis. Gout arthritis ditandai dengan nyeri berulang. Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (2023) menunjukkan prevalensi penyakit sendi di Indonesia sebesar 7,30%, dengan prevalensi tertinggi di Aceh (12,26%), Papua (11,43%), dan Kalimantan Timur (11,1%). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah 119 lansia penderita nyeri gout arthritis, dengan sampel 30 responden yang diambil menggunakan kuota sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala nyeri Numeric Rating Scale, SOP kompres hangat kayu manis, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p < 0,05 dengan uji Wilcoxon, dan terdapat penurunan rata-rata skala nyeri dari 4,47 menjadi 2,17 setelah pemberian kompres hangat kayu manis, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kompres ini terhadap penurunan nyeri gout arthritis pada lansia di Desa Sadar Sriwijaya. Kompres hangat kayu manis dapat dijadikan terapi non-farmakologis untuk mengurangi nyeri gout arthritis dan dapat diaplikasikan secara mandiri di rumah.

Abstract

The development of technology, particularly in the field of robotics, is increasingly influencing various aspects of life, including the organization of robot contests which are attracting more participants. The Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) and the ABU Robocon Indonesia Robot Contest (KRAI) are competitions involving broad participation from across the Asia Pacific. Robots in these competitions are controlled using instructions from operators, where the use of wireless joysticks has become very common to enhance control efficiency. However, in practice, issues such as signal connection loss often occur, especially when using PlayStation 2 joysticks with limited signal range. This study aims to develop a more stable remote control system using an ATmega 2560 microcontroller and an ESP32 to provide Bluetooth signals. The research method used is experimental, including the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that the control system with an ESP-based PS4 joystick can increase the control range up to 15 meters with more stable connectivity compared to the previous system. Testing also indicates that precise IP address assignment can prevent signal interference from other devices, making this system effective for use in robotics competitions

Abstract

Based on existing regulations, every government organization is required to have service standards, one of which is SOP. One of the benefits of SOP is to improve government performance to make it more effective and efficient. The results of the pre-research interviews found that there were several SOPs at the Takalar District Social Service and PMD, especially in the Village Administration Development Sector that needed to be updated, so the purpose of this study was to develop or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), especially in the Village Administration Development Sector. Community and Village of Takalar Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation and document review. While data analysis uses (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation and (3) drawing conclusions. Then to test the validity of the data, this study used a data validity test with source triangulation. The outputs or results of this study are SOPs for Supervision and Assistance in Village Financial and Asset Management, SOPs for Development of Village Financial and Asset Management, SOPs for Verification and Reporting on the Implementation of Village Fund Allocations, and SOPs for Compilation and Development of Village Financial Information Systems.

Abstract

Penentuan siswa berprestasi di tingkat sekolah dasar selama ini dilakukan secara manual dengan mengandalkan nilai rapor, sehingga meninmbulkan potensi subjektivitas, keterbatasan kriteria dan ketidakefisienan dalam proses seleksi. Permasalahan ini mendorong perlunya pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan yang mampu memberikan hasil yang objektif, cepat, dan akurat. Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web menggunakan metode ELECTRE (Elimination and Choice Expressing Reality), yang dikenal efektif dalam pengambilan keputusan multikriteria. Lima kriteria utama yang digunakan adalah prestasi akademik, kehadiran, prestasi non-akaemik, sikap dan prilaku, serta kedisiplinan. Sistem dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan melalui metode black box dan validasi hasil dengan perhitungan manual menunjukan bahwa sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik, memiliki tingkat akurasi perhitungan 100% dibandingkan perhitungan maual, serta secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi dan keobjektivan dalam proses seleksi siswa berprestasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ELECTRE efektif diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan dasar sebagai solusi pengambilan keputusan di lingkungan pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Dilib Lamteungoh Village, Sukamakmur Sub-District, Aceh Besar Regency, with the objective of improving the communitys knowledge and skills in managing household organic waste through eco-enzyme production training. The activity involved 22 participants, primarily farmers and housewives. The implementation methods included lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations to assess participants knowledge improvement. The eco-enzyme formulation used a ratio of palm sugar : organic waste : water = 1 : 3 : 10, followed by a three-month fermentation process in shaded, tightly closed containers. The results indicated a significant increase in participants understanding and active involvement. All participants (100%) were able to correctly describe the process of eco-enzyme production, and 86.4% expressed their intention to continue making eco-enzymes independently at home. Moreover, participants gained awareness of the eco-enzymes multifunctional benefits, including its use as liquid organic fertilizer, natural household cleaner, and organic waste decomposer. Overall, the program successfully fostered environmental awareness and community participation, promoting sustainable waste management practices and encouraging the realization of an environmentally conscious and self-reliant rural community.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine the legal process and implications in handling juvenile cases when the offender has reached adulthood during the judicial proceedings. The study employs a normative juridical method (library research) by analyzing relevant statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and previous scholarly works. The main focus is on the implementation of Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA), which mandates that legal treatment of juveniles must prioritize restorative justice and rehabilitation. However, problems arise when the suspect or defendant surpasses the age limit of 18 years during the process, creating legal ambiguities in determining the applicable legal mechanism and correctional treatment. The findings indicate that such individuals must still be processed under the juvenile justice system based on the principle of lex specialis derogat legi generali, ensuring continuity of child protection. The study concludes that consistent interpretation and coordination among law enforcement institutions are required to uphold the rights and human dignity of former juvenile offenders. Keyword: Juvenile Justice System, Legal Protection, Age of Majority, Restorative Justice, Criminal Law Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara yuridis proses penanganan perkara anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum ketika anak tersebut telah menginjak usia dewasa selama proses peradilan berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif (studi pustaka) dengan menelaah peraturan perundang-undangan, doktrin hukum, serta hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Fokus utama penelitian adalah penerapan Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak (SPPA), yang menegaskan bahwa perlakuan terhadap anak harus mengutamakan prinsip keadilan restoratif dan rehabilitasi. Permasalahan muncul ketika anak pelaku tindak pidana telah melewati batas usia 18 tahun pada saat proses hukum masih berjalan, sehingga menimbulkan ambiguitas dalam menentukan mekanisme hukum dan lembaga pembinaan yang sesuai. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku tersebut tetap harus diproses berdasarkan ketentuan peradilan anak sesuai prinsip lex specialis derogat legi generali demi keberlanjutan perlindungan hukum bagi anak. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya keseragaman penafsiran dan koordinasi antar lembaga penegak hukum agar hak-hak anak yang telah menginjak usia dewasa tetap terlindungi. Kata kunci: Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak, Perlindungan Hukum, Usia Dewasa, Keadilan Restoratif, Hukum Pidana

Abstract

Palu, Sigi, and Donggala districts experienced a 7,7 magnitude earthquake on September 28 2018. This incident was declared a national disaster. The impact of the disaster is a decrease in the nutritional status of children under five. Nutritional problems in children under five after the earthquake can be caused by paralysis of health service, lack of availability of clean water, poor environmental sanitation, infectious diseases, and lack of consumption of nutritious food. This research is a descriptive study wich to identify nutritional problems in children under five after the earthquake in Palu, Sigi, and Donggala districts. The type of data used is secondary data, including height, weight, and age. The results showed that the nutritional status of under five children based on the weight for age index were underweight 32,1% and very underweight 16,6%. Nutritional status based on the weight for height index, were malnutrition 13,7% and poor nutrition 4,9%. The nutritional status based on the height for age index were stunting 55,7%. The conclusion that the stunting is a nutritional problem with the highest prevalence after the earthquake. The health of children under five is easily influenced by food security, the environment, and the economy. The high prevalence stunting post-earthquake can be caused by job losses, damage to agricultural land and plantations, disruption of the economic system and development in the area which has an impact on low access to food for families.

Abstract

Food vendors play a vital role in ensuring food safety and consumer health, as they are directly involved in food preparation. Therefore, the application of personal hygiene and environmental sanitation is essential. Personal hygiene includes maintaining cleanliness through handwashing, body care, and appropriate attire. Environmental sanitation refers to efforts to create a clean and healthy environment. Adequate knowledge is necessary to influence vendors' attitudes and behaviors in practicing hygienic food handling. This study utilized a total sampling technique, in which the entire population was included as the sample for the research. This community service activity employed educational outreach and door-to-door interviews with 119 food vendors located in Cupak Tangah Sub-district, Padang City. Participant characteristics showed an age range of 18–51 years, with an average age of 26 years, and most respondents had completed senior high school. The intervention covered two topics: personal hygiene and sanitation. Prior to the intervention, only 3.3% of vendors demonstrated adequate knowledge of personal hygiene and 4.4% had knowledge of environmental sanitation. Following the educational intervention, knowledge levels increased significantly, reaching 100%. Education proved effective in significantly increasing food vendors’ knowledge of personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, and food handling practices. Similar interventions are recommended to enhance food safety awareness among small-scale vendors.

Abstract

Household characteristics are defined by socioeconomic conditions and other factors, including cultural aspects. Culture dictates dietary choices, methods of preparation, locations, and timing of food preparation. This study examined cultural influences on family dietary practices among the To Pekurehua and Javanese tribes. This research was conducted over a ten-month period, from February to November 2023. The application of this equation yielded a sample of 79 respondents from the North Lore District (representing the To Pekurehua tribe) and 41 respondents from the West Pamona District (representing the Javanese tribe). The To Pekurehua and Javanese tribes possessed average meal frequencies of 2.86 and 3.00 times each day, respectively. The practice of communal dining was observed in 91.1% of the To Pekurehua tribe and 87.8% of the Javanese tribe. The To Pekurehua tribe generated a family dinner participation rate of 87.3%, whereas the Javanese tribe’s rate was 82.9%. In both tribes, fathers, as the head of the household, received priority in food distribution. In contrast, the wives in the Javanese tribe exerted greater influence over the food menu than those in the To Pekurehua tribe.

Abstract

Cultural identity is the distinctive characteristics, values, and collective expressions that distinguish a group of people. However, globalization has not only facilitated the exchange of information but also eroded the boundaries of cultural identity. History lessons, which should be a bulwark of cultural identity, are instead considered boring by students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the strategy of a deep learning approach in high school history teaching to strengthen cultural identity. This study employed library methods with a descriptive, qualitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. The results show that the deep learning approach in history teaching emphasizes the principles of mindful, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experiences. By integrating the eight dimensions of the graduate profile, this approach yields a comprehensive learning framework that aligns with current demands. One of the primary strategies for implementing deep learning is through problem-based projects and the use of technology, which encourage students to engage in solving real-life problems. This approach not only encourages students to memorize historical facts but also to understand, apply, and reflect on historical knowledge in their daily lives. Overall, deep learning in history teaching at the high school level has great potential to strengthen cultural identity.
