Abstract

This research aims to find formulating to mitigation of dangser of landslide, by observe on the classes of landslise dangser, the risk of landslide and the landslide disaster. The method used in the research is survey with two kinds of variables, the dependent variable includes the classes of dangser and the classes risk for the landslide, and the independent variable is the effart of mitigation. The classes of dangser and risk for the landslide are obfained from the secondary data, white the efforts of mitigation for the landslide are determined in accordance with the classes of landslide danser and risk landslide by considery the supporting factors. The result of the research shows that the field studied is the area with high risk of landslide. The dominant factors for the risk are the type of litology, and the weatering. The classes of landslide risk ranges from the low to the high. Hence, the efforts of mitigation should be tayseted first to those areas with the high risk of landslide. The efforts of mitigation to put into practive should consider. The dominant factors in the area, its can be underfaken by desighing a priovity, based on its terms covering shout ferm, medium term and long term.

Abstract

Land management is a manifestation of the society’s behaviour in utilizing the land. The objective of the research was to examine the effect of education level, income, land tenure, knowledge, and information input on the society’s behaviour in managing the area susceptible to landslide in Pekuncen sub-district, Banyumas district.   The method of this research was survey by employing questionnaire to collect field data. The variable comprised of the data of education level, income, land tenure, knowledge, and information input.. Stratified random sampling was applied to determine the samples of the research. The area susceptibility class  was considered as the strata in which each stratum consisted of 40 family heads as the respondents. The data analysis applied statistical test of multi-regression. Research area was divided into three classes of landslide susceptibility comprising of low, medium, and high class. Education level, income, land tenure, knowledge, and information input significantly influenced the society’s behaviour dealing with land management (determination co-efficiency (R²) was 69.9 %). It occurred in the area of medium susceptibility class. Information input (regression coefficient/(beta) = 0.817) was the most influential predictor of society’s behaviour in land management located in the low susceptibility class. From this research, it was expected that the description about the factors that influenced the society’s behaviour in managing the landslide-prone area would be a valuable reference in preventing landslide in those areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi optimal bahan dalam pembuatan briket pakan sapi.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan acak lengkap ( RAL ). Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan 3x sehari selama 7 hari. Data yang diambil adalah sisa pakan pada setiap pemberian ransum. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis varians (ANAVA). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah komposisi briket paling optimal adalah pada rancangan percobaan RS3 yaitu dengan komposisi hijauan 50, molase 30, dedak 10 dan garam 10.

Abstract

The general objective of this community service activity is facilitating the theoretical and practical BK services in Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Special Program in Surakarta and MIM Kartasura in implementing Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014 in an effort to improve the professionalism of teachers. In particular, the purpose of the community service is to facilitate the understanding the partner schools in Counselling services in the areas of personal, social, learning, and career. The service activities include socialization Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014 concerning guidance and counseling services in primary school, a discussion on the basic concept of guidance and counseling, and workshops on the implementation of guidance and counseling in Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Special Program in Surakarta and MIM Kartasura. Community service activities have received positive responses namely the formation of a formal institution Institute of Guidance and Counseling in each school. These institutions equipped with the personnel in charge, coordinator and teacher who oversees areas: personal, social, learning, and career.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Service Quality, School Image and Perception Price for Student Satisfaction and Student Trust. This research was conducted at the Vocational High School (SMK) Private in West Jakarta, which spread in 8 (eight) districts with a total sample of 200 students. Structural Equation Modelin (SEM) by AMOS program version 22 used to prove the affecting of among variables, with conclusions as follows: first; Service Quality has positive and significant  effect on Student Satisfaction,  second; School Image has positive and significant  effect on Student Satisfaction,  Third; Perception Price has positive  effect but not significant on Student Satisfaction,   Fourth; Service Quality has positive  effect but not significant on Student Trust,  Fifth; School Image has positive effect but not significant on Student Trust, Sixth; Perception Price has positive effect and significant Student Trust, Seventh; Student Satisfaction has positive effect and significant  on Student Trust, and the eighth, mediating effect of student satisfaction more strength and significant than direct effect of service quality and school image on student trust. Keywords : Service Quality, School Image, Perception Price, Student Satisfaction, Student Trust

Abstract

One of the supports of the dairy farm productivity is forage crops whose existence is a major factor. Location as a land use pattern has many characteristics in line with situation. The purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics of area locations of forage crops at backyard dairy farms in Banyumas Regency. The method of this research was a survey with qualitative approach as a model of naturalistic paradigm.  Phenomenological research was impelemented in this study. The research sites were on 5 (five) developing sub-districts of backyard dairy farm locations. The results showed that the pattern of land use for the forage plant source in backyard dairy cattle farm in Banyumas Regency in each district area was is affected by the parameters of different landscapes of land ownership. Based on the results it can be concluded that the characteristics of the pastures ware flat land, sloping and undulating topography, that were located near the rice fields, roads and yards. The location of the forage crops included the use of wet and dry land, and the combination of them, in monoculture and mixed cropping with other crops, not only on lands owned by farmers themselves, but also the uses of land owned by their families. Animal Production 15(2):89-97, May 2013

Abstract

Sejumlah penelitian telah dilakukan untuk menyelidiki faedah pemecahan batang alfalfa pada saat dipanen di daerah prairi terhadap lama pengeringan, sifat-sifat nutrisi pada saat disimpan dan nilai nutrisi pakan. Alfalfa pada awal pertumbuhan bunga dipanen  menggunakan salah satu dari dua mesin. : mesin convensional, (CONV) atau dengan mesin pemecah batang yang mempunyai empat tingkat pemecahan (LIGHT : ringan,LIGHT + : agak berat, SEVERE : berat dan SEVERE+ : sangat berat). Selama pengeringan, perlakuan  LIGHT + s.d. SEVERE+ mencapai kadar Bahan Kering (BK) 45 % dan 80% dalam waktu masing-masing hanya sekitar 2 jam dan 9-11 jam, dibanding CONV, yang mencapai kadar BK tersebut berturut-turut dlm waktu 6 dan 54 jam. Padet sapi pedaging mengonsumsi BK silase 13 % lebih banyak dan memperoleh pertambahan  bobot badan harian 22.7% lebih berat (P<0.05) jika batang alfalfa dipecah pada saat dipanen(SEVERE), dibanding tidak (CONV) , pada awal pertumbuhan selama 21 hari. Sapi perah Holstein betina awal laktasi yang diberi ransum yang mengandung silase dan hay dari alfalfa yang batangnya dipecah pada saat dipanen memproduksi susu dengan kandungan gizi yang sama disbanding batang. Namun demikian, kelompok sapi yang diberi ransum yang mengandung alfalfa yang terpecah batangnya memberikan bobot hidup yang lebih berat dan nilai kondisi tubuh yang lebih baik (P<0.05) pada saat akhir penelitian laktasi selama 14 minggu. Abstract

The development of ruminants must always be followed by forage sources as its feed. The usage of agro industrial by-product like cassava leaves is one of steps that can be conducted.  The purpose of this research was to study the effect of leaves-of-bitter-cassava fermentation using a mixture of Aspergillus niger-cattle bolus on the concentrations of HCN, crude protein, digestibilities of dry matter and organic matters.  Experimental method was used in this study, using completely randomized design with six treatments namely fresh and wilted leaves of bitter cassava, added with Aspergillus niger and 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8% of cattle bolus, each of which was repeated four times. The results showed that the mixture of Aspergillus niger-cattle bolus in cassava leaves had a highly significant effect on HCN, crude protein, dry matter and organic matter digestibilities. The conclusion of this research is that fermentation of leaves of bitter cassava with 6% of Aspergillus niger and cattle bolus is able to degrade cyanogenic glycoside and increase digestibility. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh suplementasi ransum dasar (BD, ransum kontrol yang disusun menurut NRC, 1988) dengan asam amino esensial lysine, methionin, threonine (SD1 dan SD2, ransum perlakuan) terhadap konsumsi ransum dan kinerja pada ternak babi. Bahan utama ketiga ransum terdiri dari tepung barley, gandum, dan kedele. Masing-masing ransum mengandung kadar protein kasar (18% untuk grower dan 16,5% untuk finisher) dan enerji (14,2 MJ/kg). Ransum diberikan dengan cara dipecah (splitted) menurut periode pertumbuhan (grower dan finisher) dan jenis kelamin (jantan dan betina ). Ransum kg BB dan SDI dipecah menjadi 2 fase pemberian (grower: 20 - 60 kg berat badan (BB), dan finisher: 60 - 105 kg BB), ransum SD2 dipecah menjadi 4 fase pemberian (grower I: 20 - 40 kg, grower II:  40 - 60 kg, finisher I : 60 - 80 kg, dan finisher II: 80 - 105 kg BB).Babi dengan berat awal 20 kg sebanyak 72 ekor (36 jantan dan 36 betina) dikandangkan dengan kondisi lingkungan yang serupa (200C) selama penelitian. Suplementasi ransum dasar dengan asam amino esensial tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi ransum harian (2,49, 2,43, dan 2,36 kg masing-masing untuk BD, SD1 dan SD2, P>0,05). Babi pada masa pertumbuhan finisher mengonsumsi ransum harian terbanyak (2,77 - 2,83 kg) dibanding masa pertumbuhan lainnya (P<0,01). Babi jantan cenderung mengonsumsi  ransum harian  lebih banyak (P<0,11) dibanding babi betina (2,49 kg vs. 2,36 kg). Babi yang diberi ransum yang diperkaya dengan asam amino tumbuh lebih cepat (0,93 dan 0,96 kg/hari untuk SD1 dan SD2) dibanding babi yang diberi ransum kontrol (0,82 kg/hari), P<0,01. Pertumbuhan tercepat terjadi pada masa awal finisher (60 - 80 kg BB), yaitu 1,07 kg/hari, sedangkan kecepatan pertumbuhan pada masa pertumbuhan yang lain sebanding(0,85; 0,86; dan 0,83 kg/hari). Babi yang diberi ransum yang diperkaya dengan asam amino esensial dapat menggunakan ransum dengan lebih efisien (2,68 dan 2,58 kg ransum/kg PBB untuk SD1 dan SD2) dibanding babi yang diberi ransum kontrol (3,03 kg ransum/kg PBB), P<0.01. Diantara masa pertumbuhan, awal masa pertumbuhan grower (20-40kg BB) mempunyai efisiensi penggunaan ransum tertinggi(2,16 kg ransum/kg PBB) dan akhir masa pertumbuhan finisher (80-105 kg BB) mempunyai nilai efisiensi terendah(3,55 kg ransum/kg PBB),P<0.01. Babi jantan cenderung lebih efisien dalam menggunakan ransum dibanding babi betina (2,66 vs 2,87 kg ransum/kg PBB), P<0,09. Abstract

Abstract. The experiment was conducted in an attempt to study the effect of supplementation of Sapindus rarak, garlic  powder and its combinations in beef cattle feed enriched with organic minerals of Cr and Zn on feed consumption, feed digestibility, feed efficiency, daily gain of beef cattle. The study used 16 males Brahman cross cows, which were fed with feeds supplemented with 250 ppm Sapindus rarak powder,  250 ppm  Garlic powder, and a combination of 250 ppm garlic-Sapindus rarak  enriched with Cr and Zn mineral. The results showed that supplementation of Sapindus rarak, garlic and enriched organic minerals increased  the consumption of dry matter, organic matter,  digestibility of dry and organic matter, daily gain, feed efficiency, and reduced the population of rumen protozoa and bacteria. Conclusively, supplementation with 250 ppm garlic powder and  Cr-Zn organic minerals was the best for beef cattle feed to improve daily gain and feed efficiency. Key words : Sapindus rarak, garlic, Cr-Zn, beef cattle, feed efficiency Abstrak. Penelitian dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi tepung Sapindus rarak, garlic maupun kombinasinya yang diperkaya dengan mineral organik Cr dan Zn terhadap konsumsi pakan, kecernaan pakan, pertambahan bobot badan dan efisiensi pakan sapi potong.  Penelitian menggunakan 16 ekor sapi Brahman cross, yang diberikan 250 ppm tepung Sapindus rarak, 250 ppm tepung Garlic dan 250 ppm tepung Sapindus rarak dan garlic yang diperkaya dengan mineral Cr dan Zn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa suplementasi tepung Sapindus rarak maupun garlic yang diperkaya mineral organik meningkatkan konsumsi bahan kering, bahan organik, kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik, pertambahan bobot badan, efisiensi pakan dan menurunkan populasi protozoa dan bakteri rumen. Suplementasi 250 ppm tepung garlic dan mineral organik Cr-Zn merupakan suplemen terbaik pada pakan sapi potong  untuk meningkatkan bobot badan dan efisiensi pakan. Kata kunci : Sapindus rarak, bawang, Cr-Zn, sapi potong, efisiensi pakan
