Abstract

This research investigates the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), flood risk management, political dynamics, and entrepreneurship in enhancing resilient city management in Jakarta from 2013 to 2023. Jakarta faces significant challenges due to rapid urbanization, climate change, and political instability, making it highly susceptible to flooding. Over the past decade, the frequency and intensity of floods have escalated, affecting over 1.5 million residents each year. Contributing factors include inadequate infrastructure, inconsistent public policies, and limited resources. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating a comprehensive literature review and analysis of 50 relevant case studies. This analysis reveals trends in AI adoption, the impact of political dynamics, and the role of entrepreneurship in flood management. Quantitative data establishes correlations between AI adoption rates and flood management effectiveness, while qualitative insights explore the influence of political factors and entrepreneurial innovations. Findings indicate that AI has improved flood prediction accuracy by up to 30%, enabling faster responses. Additionally, entrepreneurial initiatives, such as app-based flood monitoring and community infrastructure projects, play a crucial role in resilience. However, political instability often hinders the implementation of these solutions. Ultimately, the research emphasizes the need for collaboration among the government, private sector, and communities to strengthen disaster resilience, highlighting the synergy of technology, policy, and innovation in facing future challenges.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving skills are essential for students to succeed in the 21st century, yet many struggle to apply mathematical concepts in real-life situations. This research addresses the need for innovative learning media by developing Statblithz Game, an educational game designed to train and enhance students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model, involving stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Participants included middle school students who engaged with the prototype and provided feedback through questionnaires, expert validations, and pre- and post-tests measuring problem-solving performance. The results indicated that Statblithz Game is highly feasible, with expert validation scores averaging 89%. Moreover, students’ problem-solving test scores improved by an average of 25% after using the game. In conclusion, the Statblithz Game effectively enhances mathematical problem-solving skills and offers an engaging alternative to traditional mathematics instruction. The impact of this research lies in providing educators with an innovative and interactive tool that can foster critical thinking and improve student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

The gap between formal mathematics learning and real business practices results in the low relevance of learning materials in improving numeracy skills and shaping entrepreneurial character in students. Responding to this urgency, this study aims to identify content components and compile initial design specifications (Blueprint) for Ethnomathematics-based Augmented Reality (AR) Learning Media for Doormat Craft MSMEs in Karangrejo, Pasuruan. The method applied is Research and Development (R&D) at the ADDIE (Need Assessment) model analysis stage. Data collection was conducted through interviews with teachers and Systematic Literature Studies (for needs and context analysis), as well as documentation of phenomenological studies (available data) on doormat craft MSMEs (for authentic content analysis). The instruments used include interview guidelines and an Ethnomathematics concept mapping matrix. The main findings indicate a significant need for AR media that can contextualize relevant mathematical concepts—such as calculating raw material ratios and determining price margins—into interactive business scenarios. This in-depth analysis resulted in an AR application Blueprint, which details the content flow and digital interaction model, while ensuring that the Ethnomathematics content explored can be transformed into 3D AR interactive objects. This design specification makes a substantial contribution to this research, by providing a strong empirical foundation for the further development of learning technologies that are effective in improving business numeracy literacy and entrepreneurial behavior in students.

Abstract

In the early 2020s, this study examines the origins and ideas of the historicity of the Muhammadiyah movement in Indonesia at the beginning of the 20th century. The focus is on the theological principles of tajwid and ijtihad, as expressed by Ahmad Dahlan, the founder of Muhammadiyah. This study examines the historical significance of Muhammadiyah, including its fundamental principles, historical background, and influence on Indonesian society. Previous studies regarding the historical importance of Muhammadiyah mainly focused on one nation, Indonesia, and examined two specific aspects, namely the socio-political dimension. However, this research will focus on the historical significance of Muhammadiyah in three areas: educational, social and political contexts. Furthermore, the discussion will also examine Muhammadiyah's activities in Thailand. A thorough literature review was conducted last decade using publish or perish (PoP) hazing applications. This assessment involves utilizing several databases, such as “PupMed,” “ABIInform,” “EBSO Host,” “Emerald,” “Google Scholar,” “Science Direct,” “ProQuest,” “Web of Science,” and “ERIC.” This study integrates the use of several theoretical frameworks, including "Historicity", "Muhammadiyah", "Socio-Political Development", "Education", and "International". Emphasis is placed on the impact of Dutch colonial rule, but its connection to the broader Islamic reformist movement remains limited. This study offers a comprehensive survey of existing literature regarding the historicity process within Muhammadiyah, exploring the basic concepts and historical background. There is a need for a thorough analysis of the long-term impact and comparative evaluation of distribution strategies and research methodologies. Data were analyzed through data reduction, presentation and conclusion/verification procedures using the 7P SLR diagram technique. This approach was used to ensure the uniqueness of the findings. A review of the scientific literature reveals Muhammadiyah's significant contribution to facilitating comprehensive education, fostering cognitive autonomy, and overcoming social barriers through implementing social welfare initiatives. This study also examines the impact of this movement on the development of a progressive understanding of Islam in a cultural and socio-economic context. This analysis highlights the correlation between Muhammadiyah's fundamental concepts, historical background, and societal influence. This study advances scholarly understanding of the Islamic reform movement. It offers valuable insights into the complex dynamics between theological principles and societal change in Indonesia and how to examine the influence of Muhammadiyah in Thailand.
