Abstract

The transformation of inclusive Islamic education from the era of the Prophet to the modern era shows a significant evolution in the approach to inclusive education. Where this research is focused on inclusive values taught by the Prophet so that it can be applied in the context of education today. Exploring and analyzing the paradigm change of Islamic education from exclusive to inclusive, as well as its urgency in facing modern challenges which is the goal of this article. By using a research literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, which relies on reflective logical analysis of existing literature. Where this study shows that Islamic education in the era of the Prophet, which was marked by the Medina Charter, provides a real example of tolerance and respect for religious and cultural differences. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying it, because it emphasizes the need for improvements in curriculum elements, learning strategies, and educator training to create an educational environment that is inclusive and relevant to the needs of today's young generation. As a hope for the future to be able to foster an open and tolerant attitude among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksperimental untuk mengkaji pengaruh variasi jumlah titik kuadratur Gauss-Legendre terhadap akurasi hasil integral numerik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana perubahan jumlah titik kuadratur memengaruhi ketelitian hasil integral numerik, dengan memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Maple sebagai alat bantu dalam proses perhitungan dan analisis. Fungsi yang digunakan adalah fungsi eksponensial yang memiliki solusi integral eksak sebagai pembanding. Metode kuadratur Gauss-Legendre dipilih karena kemampuannya meminimalkan galat melalui pemilihan titik evaluasi dan bobot secara optimal. Penelitian ini menguji integral numerik dengan jumlah titik kuadratur yang bervariasi, mulai dari 2 hingga 6 titik. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi pendefinisian fungsi, transformasi variabel, perhitungan titik dan bobot Gauss-Legendre, serta perhitungan integral numerik dan eksak untuk masing-masing variasi titik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak jumlah titik yang digunakan, semakin kecil galat yang dihasilkan, baik dalam galat absolut maupun relatif. Dengan menggunakan enam titik, hasil integral numerik hampir identik dengan nilai eksaknya, dengan galat relatif mendekati nol. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Gauss-Legendre efektif dan efisien dalam menghitung integral fungsi kompleks secara numerik. Jumlah titik optimal berada pada kisaran 4 hingga 6 titik untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara akurasi dan efisiensi komputasi.

Abstract

The engineer must pay attention to strength, comfort, frugality, and impact on the environment in the building planning both in multi-storey or non-storey. Those aspects must be carefully planned and taken into a capable management system in it and to comply the comfort aspect in the building, hence disaster risk management such as fire prevention is needed. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the fire prevention and control system based on Minister of Public Works Regulation No.26/PRT/M/2008 and Indonesian National Standart 03-6574-2001, analyze the building reliability, and provide alternative solutions for the fire disaster control system in the college building of Fakfak State Polytechnic. The result of check list observation showed the average suitability was . The calculation result of Value of the Building Safety System Components using the Pd-T-11-2005-c guideline based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was 64.23 % < 80%.  It  was classified into GOOD ENOUGH. From the results, alternative solution that can be proposed for college building at Fakfak State Polytechnic is to establish fire prevention.

Abstract

Transformator yang beroperasi secara terus menerus dalam penyaluran kelistrikan dapat menyebabkan bertambahnya laju penuaan isolasi pada transformator sehingga mengakibatkan bertambahnya susut umur pada transformator. salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan bertambahnya laju penuaan isolasi adalah pembebanan transformator yang bervariasi sesuai kebutuhan penyaluran dan suhu lingkungan transformator itu berada. Data pembebanan rill yang sudah diambil melalui observasi di lapangan digunakan sebagai dasar perhitungan analisis. Data akan dianalisis dengan percobaan perbandingan serta menggunakan percobaan pembebanan yang di buat bervariasi. Kemudian dianalisis dilakukan berdasarkan IEC 354 tahun 1972 dan IEEE Loading Guide. Perhitungan susut usia transformator difokuskan pada transformator II pada Gardu Induk 150 kV Jajar dengan kapasitas sebesar 60 MVA. Hasil perhitungan susut usia transformator selama periode 1 tahun pengoperasian (Januari 2019 sampai Desember 2019) didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,36 p.u dengan sisa usia transformator adalah sebesar 16,6 tahun. Berdasarkan analisis transformator II Gardu Induk 150 kV Jajar masih terbilang aman beroperasi karena temperature suhu hotspot pada transformator terdapat di bawah ambang batas suhu yang ditentukan 980C dan nilai pembebanan kurang dari 81,9 %.

Abstract

It takes three weeks to analyze the germination percentage of Arabica coffee seeds germinated using paper and a three-day water-soaking method. This 3- week period is considered too long for seed distribution to remote areas. Thus, we need to modify this germination test needs to be modified to have a shorter test time. Temperature treatment is one method to break the seed dormancy period for faster germination. This study aimed to obtain a faster and more precise method of germination test on Arabica coffee seeds. This study employed a 3 x 4 factorial complete randomized block design with three replications in which Arabica coffee varieties of Gayo-1, Kartika-1, and Sigararutang as the first factor and the temperature of the soaking water of the seeds (25 0C, 50 0C, 75 0C, and 90 0C) as the second factor. The research was conducted at the Plant Breeding Laboratory, Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute (ICCRI), for four months. Findings showed that the interaction between treatments was only found in seed germination percentage. Soaking in room temperature water (control) for three days was better than using water at 50 0C, 75 0C, and 90 0C on the germination percentage, sprout length, and vigor index. Observations of Arabica seed germination could be shortened to 14 days compared to the standard 21-day observation. During the seedling phase, the shoot growth and root growth of the Arabica coffee seeds soaked in water at 50 0C showed no significant difference from the control. Soaking at 75 0C and 90 0C damaged the embryo and resulted in rotten seeds. Different varieties led to different germination percentages, sprout lengths, and fresh weight of seedling shoots. The method of soaking at 50 0C for 30 minutes could be used as an alternative in germination test of Arabica coffee seeds because it showed small negative effect on germinated seed and seedling quality but it shorten thetesting time for three days.

Abstract

Seed growth and uniformity are keys in producing high quality and yield of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.). Plant growth is influenced by internal factors (genetics)and external factors, including planting media. This study aimed to determine the effect of cocoa planting material types and planting media of cocoa seedlings.The research was conducted at Kaliwining Experimental Station, Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute (ICCRI), Jember, Indonesia, using a split-plot group randomized design. The main plot was the planting media consisting of topsoil, topsoil and rice husk, and topsoil and manure. The subplots consisted of two types of cocoa planting material: hybrid seeds ICCRI 08H and half-sib Sulawesi 1. Each treatment was replicated three times. The results showed that the media influenced on seedling growth uniformity, plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves. Genetic factors affect plant height and stem diameter. The interaction of media and the type of planting material affect the stem diameter and number of leaves. Cocoa seedling growth with the best plant height and stem diameter was shown in topsoil and manure media, while the response to the number of lleaves showed differences between ages and planting media used. Abstract

This study investigated the effects of marinating chicken meat with varying concentrations of lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia) on its physical properties, specifically pH, tenderness, water-holding capacity (WHC), and cooking loss. The experimental treatments comprised five lime juice concentrations: P0 (control, 0 mL), P1 (10 mL), P2 (20 mL), P3 (30 mL), and P4 (40 mL). The results revealed significant differences in pH values among treatments: P0 (5.67), P1 (5.25), P2 (5.01), P3 (4.91), and P4 (4.78). Tenderness, expressed as penetration force (mm/g), varied across treatments with the following means: P0 (91.13 mm/g), P1 (80.63 mm/g), P2 (81.00 mm/g), P3 (88.50 mm/g), and P4 (69.00 mm/g). WHC values were recorded as follows: P0 (44.41%), P1 (43.40%), P2 (42.52%), P3 (45.00%), and P4 (43.80%). Cooking loss increased with higher lime juice concentrations: P0 (27.00%), P1 (32.50%), P2 (33.00%), P3 (32.50%), and P4 (34.50%). The findings suggest that lime juice concentration significantly affects both pH and tenderness, with the most favorable results observed at the 20 mL concentration, which yielded a pH of 5.01 and tenderness of 81.00 mm/g. In contrast, no significant effects were observed on WHC and cooking loss across treatments. In conclusion, marination with 20 mL of lime juice enhances the physical quality of chicken meat by improving pH and tenderness, without substantially affecting water retention or cooking loss.

Abstract

Sengketa utang piutang sering kali menimbulkan persoalan hukum terkait pengalihan hak tagih melalui mekanisme subrogasi dan perjanjian buy back guarantee. Penelitian ini bertolak dari Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Cibinong Nomor 219/Pdt.G/2018/PN Cbi yang memutus sengketa antara debitur, kreditur, dan penjamin yang telah melunasi utang debitur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaturan hukum subrogasi dalam KUH Perdata serta menelaah kedudukan dan pelaksanaan perjanjian buy back dalam penyelesaian sengketa utang piutang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, doktrinal, dan studi putusan. Teori Kepastian Hukum dan Teori Keadilan digunakan sebagai landasan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan subrogasi dalam Pasal 1400–1403 KUH Perdata memberikan perlindungan hukum terhadap kreditur pengganti yang melunasi utang debitur. Dalam perkara tersebut, subrogasi dianggap sah karena didukung bukti pembayaran, akta subrogasi, dan perjanjian kredit. Perjanjian buy back tidak menghapus utang debitur, namun memperkuat hak regres penjamin. Kesimpulannya, subrogasi merupakan instrumen hukum yang efektif dalam melindungi hak kreditur dan mewujudkan keadilan. Disarankan agar klausul subrogasi dicantumkan secara eksplisit dalam perjanjian kredit

Abstract

Fresh goat skin and skins tanned with different tanning agents were prepared for histological, chemical, and physical analyses. Fresh skin samples were fixed in 10% formalin solution, processed using the paraffin embedding technique, sectioned, and stained with hematoxylin and eosin to determine the histological structure. Samples of goat tanned skin, treated with various tanning agents (chrome, aldehyde, chamois, and vegetable), underwent chemical analysis using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) followed by physical analyses, including tensile strength, tear strength, thickness, and shrinkage temperature. The results showed that the histological structure of fresh skin consisted of two layers: the epidermis and dermis, while tanned leather only exhibited the dermis layer. The epidermis was removed during the tanning process. FTIR analysis of chrome-tanned leather showed bands at 1633 cm1 (amide I), 1554 cm1 (amide II), and 1240 cm1 (amide III). Aldehyde-tanned leather showed bands at 1651 cm1, 1550 cm1, and 1271 cm1 (amide I, II, and III), while vegetable-tanned leather displayed bands at 1634 cm1 (amide I), 1552 cm1 (amide II), and 1239 cm1 (amide III). Shifts in peak positions, intensity, and the number of signature peaks were observed across the tanning agents (chrome, aldehyde, oil, and vegetable). The use of different tanning agentswet blue, wet white, vegetable-tanned, and chamoisresulted in distinct grain-surface structures, significantly influencing the physical characteristics of the leather.

Abstract

The earthquake in Ambon City in 2019 damaged several buildings, including the DPRD building. This study aims to evaluate the seismic performance of the building and identify effective structural strengthening methods. The method used is pushover analysis, with structural modeling carried out using SAP2000 v.26. Lateral loads are applied gradually until the structure collapses. Secondary data in technical drawings and building documentation are used to build a structural model in SAP2000. The analysis results show that before reinforcement, the maximum roof displacement (?) reached 0.352 meters, with a total building height of 17 meters, resulting in a drift ratio of 0.0207 in the X–X direction, which is assumed to be the weak axis. Based on the ATC-40 criteria, this condition indicates the structural performance level in the "Life Safety" category. Concrete jacketing was applied to critical columns identified from the initial analysis to improve the structural performance. After remodeling the structure in the post-reinforcement condition, the study showed a reduction in maximum displacement to 0.335 meters, with a drift ratio of 0.01970. Performance level of the structure improved to the "Damage Control" category, indicating that the structure has better deformation capacity and lower potential for damage in the event of a similar-intensity earthquake.
