Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an essential necessity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to enhance their competitiveness in the era of Industry 4.0. However, in Tegal Regency, the level of digitalization adoption among MSMEs remains varied and tends to be low, thus requiring further investigation. This study aims to compare the performance of the C4.5 and Random Forest algorithms in classifying the level of digitalization of MSMEs in Tegal Regency. This research employs the CRISP-DM methodology, which includes business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and implementation. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME respondents and processed using RapidMiner. The results indicate that the Random Forest algorithm demonstrates superior performance, achieving an average F1-score of 89.63%, accuracy of 91.43%, while the C4.5 algorithm records an average F1-score of 86.24%, accuracy of 90%. The highest F1-score for both algorithms is observed in the low digitalization category at 95%, which is consistent with the data distribution showing that the majority of MSMEs (59%) fall within this category. This study systematically integrates the CRISP-DM approach from business understanding to model implementation, resulting in a structured data analysis workflow that can be replicated by local governments or future researchers. Another novelty of this study lies in the finding that although Random Forest exhibits better classification performance than C4.5, the majority of MSMEs remain at a low level of digitalization. These results provide practical contributions as a basis for formulating more targeted and sustainable MSME digitalization policies at the local

Abstract

The mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) secretome plays multiple roles in tissue regeneration and wound healing due to its content of various bioactive factors, including Fibroblast Growth Factor-2 (FGF-2). To support its topical application, an effective delivery system is required to preserve the stability and bioactivity of the secretome. A hydrogel sponge based on PVA-HPMC-PEG was selected as the delivery matrix due to its porous structure, flexibility, and ability to release active substances, thereby making it a promising candidate for wound healing applications. The objective of this research was to formulate a PVA-HPMC-PEG-based hydrogel sponge for a secretome delivery system. The hydrogel sponge was prepared using the freeze-drying method and optimized by varying the PVA concentration to achieve the desired physicochemical characteristics. The optimal formulation (F4) consists of 20% PVA, 2% HPMC, and 7.5% PEG. Evaluation revealed that this formulation exhibited a flexible sponge-like structure with a swelling percentage of 279.793% ± 0.06, elongation percentage of 107.923% ± 4.98, and physical crosslinking confirmed by FTIR analysis. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis demonstrated pore size ranging from 20 to 215 μm. Furthermore, secretome release was assessed using a Franz diffusion cell, and FGF-2 levels were quantified via ELISA. The results confirmed that the hydrogel sponge effectively facilitated the release of the secretome.

Abstract

This study, entitled Metaphors of Women in the Novel Jatiswara by Lalu Agus Fathurrahman, is based on the view that literature serves as both a cultural reflection and a medium for constructing values, including the representation of women. Jatiswara was selected because it presents rich symbolizations of women within the cultural context of the Sasak community. The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of women’s metaphors and to reveal the representation of Sasak women’s feminism in the text. The study employs a qualitative method using Lakoff and Johnson’s conceptual metaphor theory and the feminist concepts of the good woman and the new woman. The findings indicate three main categories of women’s metaphors: structural, ontological, and orientational. The representation of Sasak women’s feminism demonstrates ambivalence—women are portrayed as good women, who are noble and moral guardians, and as new women, who are critical, independent, and progressive). This research contributes to the development of conceptual metaphor studies and local feminism within Indonesian literary scholarship.

Abstract

The development of RPG (Role Playing Game) games requires dynamic interactions and immersive stories. However, Another World Reborn has weaknesses in terms of monotonous NPC (Non-Player Character) behavior and a linear storyline, thus reducing the level of replayability. This study aims to implement the Finite State Machine (FSM) method to create a dynamic alternative story using RPG Maker MV. FSM is applied to organize NPC state transitions, dialogue branches, and storylines based on player choices, resulting in three alternative endings: (A) defeating the Demon King, (B) siding with the Devil, and (C) returning to the original world. Testing using Black Box Testing shows that all features function as designed, while usability testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) on 20 respondents resulted in a score of 74.3 (Acceptable category), indicating a significant improvement from the initial version (score 61.1). And for the reason for choosing 20 respondents is based on the principle that this number is sufficient to identify the majority of usability problems without requiring large resources. Furthermore, these numbers allow for simple statistical analysis, such as the mean and standard deviation, which are useful for measuring the consistency of user experiences. The research results demonstrate that FSM successfully generates three alternative endings while also effectively increasing NPC interactivity and game replayability.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major public health problem with an increasing prevalence and is influenced by various biological, behavioral, and social factors. Nutritional status, sodium intake, family support, and perceptions of salted food consumption are considered potential contributors to the occurrence of hypertension, particularly in communities with high-salt dietary habits. This study aimed to analyze the association of nutritional status, sodium intake, family support, and perception of salted food consumption with hypertension among community members in the working area of the Palangkau Primary Health Care Center. This study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 81 respondents aged 18–65 years were selected using proportional sampling. Data were collected through blood pressure measurements, anthropometric assessments to determine Body Mass Index, and structured interviews using a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire, family support questionnaire, and perception of salted food consumption questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Spearman rank correlation test. The results showed that most respondents were classified as having mild hypertension, were overweight, and had poor sodium intake. Bivariate analysis indicated no significant association between nutritional status, sodium intake, family support, or perception of salted food consumption and hypertension (p > 0.05). This study concludes that hypertension is a multifactorial condition; therefore, hypertension control efforts should be implemented comprehensively through sustainable promotive and preventive approaches in primary health care services.
