Abstract

The study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy on high-order thinking skills in mathematics learning while identifying the factors underlying the observed differences in outcomes. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review. Fifteen articles published between 2020 and 2025 were selected as the research subjects. Data were collected from four databases, Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar, using the primary keywords “self-efficacy” and “HOTS”. The journals were systematically reviewed and analyzed following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The results of the study indicate that self-efficacy positively affects high-order thinking skills in mathematics among secondary school students. Students with high self-efficacy generally demonstrate stronger abilities in analysis, evaluation, problem-solving, and creative thinking than students with low self-efficacy. However, for the problem-solving indicator, 7% of the results showed no significant relationship. The variation in results is attributed to learning strategies that do not support the development of students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore, teachers are advised to implement learning strategies that can enhance students’ self-efficacy to support the development of HOTS.

Abstract

This study aims to review scientific literature on parenting toolkit development as a strategy to enhance motivation among parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA protocol, complemented by bibliometric analysis using Biblioshiny. Data were retrieved from Scopus and Google Scholar databases within the publication range of 2016–2025. Out of 835 identified articles, 31 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. Analysis shows accelerated global publication trends in ASD parenting interventions during 2024–2025. Four thematic clusters revealed that parenting stress directly diminishes parental self-efficacy and motivation. Most existing interventions are rigid, time-intensive, and clinically face-to-face, leaving caregivers highly vulnerable to burnout. Although limited to Scopus and Google Scholar, this study theoretically underscores the critical need to shift from child-centered behavioral mechanics toward parent-mediated interventions that reinforce the caregiver's internal psychological constructs. Practically, it provides empirical guidance for practitioners to design flexible, self-mediated family support tools by simplifying instructions and incorporating accessible delivery methods like telehealth. Socially, sustaining parental motivation enhances the quality of life and emotional resilience of families raising children with ASD, reducing the risks of diagnosis denial and therapy discontinuation. The originality lies in combining thematic bibliometric mapping with qualitative synthesis to provide a scientific justification for developing a "Parenting Toolkit," proving that tactical behavior management must be anchored by strengthening parental self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation.

Abstract

Fasting serves not only as a ritual act of worship but also as a means of cultivating patience, self-control, and spiritual resilience in facing various trials in life. This community service activity aims to enhance public understanding of fasting as a means of cultivating patience and spiritual resilience through religious lecture broadcasts on RRI Takengon. The activity was conducted using an educational and communicative approach through live lectures based on the Qur’an, hadith, and phenomena in community life. The activity comprised the preparation, broadcasting, and evaluation stages, using listener participation and feedback as indicators of success. The results showed that radio broadcasts were effective in enhancing public understanding of the meaning of fasting as a means of self-control, emotional management, and strengthened resilience in facing various life challenges. Listener enthusiasm during interactive sessions via telephone and WhatsApp demonstrated the community’s strong need for contextual religious education. Collaboration between the higher education institution and RRI Takengon also strengthened the function of public broadcasting media as a means of da’wah, education, and community empowerment. This activity confirms that radio broadcasting can serve as an innovative and applicable community service model for expanding religious literacy and building community spiritual resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze global publication trends and synthesize the mapping of design components, focus, and key findings from studies on the development of educational media based on sexual awareness for children with intellectual disabilities. The study was conducted through a systematic literature review from 2010–2026 using a qualitative descriptive approach with bibliometric and meta-aggregation analyses. The results indicate that only a few studies specifically address the development of educational media for children with intellectual disabilities and sexual awareness. Most studies focus on the use of innovative media such as Augmented Reality (AR), and empirically, learner-centered and play-based approaches have demonstrated higher effectiveness in children’s engagement and learning outcomes. The limitations identified in the reviewed literature indicate that the educational media currently developed generally still rely on broad validation instruments rather than those specifically designed according to children’s developmental stages and socio-cultural contexts. Furthermore, studies have not adequately integrated children’s social-emotional focus and interactive technologies such as immersive AR to support contextual and meaningful understanding. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance of developing educational media that are culturally adaptive, relevant to local contexts, and capable of integrating a learner-centered approach with a developmentally sensitive framework in designing focus components, syntax, and social systems for sexual education media that remain underexplored in previous literature.

Abstract

Criminal liability of children in narcotics offenses requires a balance between law enforcement and child protection. This study aims to analyze the legal framework governing narcotics offenses, the criminal liability of children and the judges' legal reasoning in Decision of the Medan District Court Number 28/PidSus.Anak/2025/PN.Mdn. This research employed a normative juridical method using statutory and case approaches. The findings indicate that a child may be held criminally liable if the child has reached the minimum age of criminal responsibility as stipulated by law, possesses the capacity for criminal responsibility and the elements of the offense are proven. However, the imposition of sanctions must prioritize the best interests of the child. Therefore, the Government should harmonize the Narcotics Law with the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law to ensure greater legal certainty and stronger protection for children.

Abstract

Arabic is frequently used in official religious activities; however, its social functions have not been widely examined from a sociolinguistic perspective. This study aims to analyze the social functions of Arabic in formal religious activities at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Mandailing Natal Regency using a sociolinguistic approach. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observations of formal religious activities, analysis of institutional documents, and interviews with relevant informants. Data analysis is conducted based on the concepts of language domains and social functions of language within sociolinguistic studies. The findings reveal that Arabic functions as a religious symbol that reinforces a sacred atmosphere, strengthens the Islamic identity of the institution, and provides religious legitimacy to formal activities. In addition, the use of Arabic contributes to the construction of religious authority, even though not all participants fully understand the linguistic meanings of the utterances. These findings indicate that Arabic in the context of religious bureaucracy carries significant social and institutional meanings beyond its communicative function. This study is expected to contribute to sociolinguistic studies on religion and to enhance understanding of the role of Arabic in formal religious settings in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan menggunan penedekatan deskriptif kualitatif ini dilakukan kepada da’i, ustadz atau mubaligh yang melakukan kegiatan dakwah diakun sosial media mereka, dengan tujuan agar kegiatan berdakwah tetap berjalan sebagai bentuk amar ma’ruf nahyi munkar walau dimas pandemi COVID-19 ini, karena dakwah merupakan kegiatan yang bersifat wajib sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mendeskripsikan sejauh mana pemanfaatan sosial media sebagai media diakwah dimasa pandemi COVID-19 ini, Dengan menggunakan metode observasi terhadap akun sosial media dan mengajukan bebarapa pertanyaan sebagai bentuk penegasan sejauh mana da’i, ustadz atau mubalig mengunakan media sosial sebagai media dakwah ditengah pandemi CVID -19. Temuan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media sosial diawali dengan pengupload-an video kegiatan dakwah dengan metode ceramah, kemudian da’i, ustadz atau mubaligh membagikan na keakun sosial media mereka, kemuidan bagi jama’ah yang mengadakan kajian rutin dengan sang da’i akan dilakukan follow up lebih lanjut diakun whatsapp group, untuk memudahkan jama’ah bertanya untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih.

Abstract

Keterkenalan sebuah program talkshow yang disiarkan secara langsung melalui kemasan podcast memberikan hal yang lebih menarik pada penonton dan pendengarnya. Podcast merupakan sebuah produk audio yang diunggah dan dapat didengarkan di manapun dan kapanpun. Eksistensi podcast sendiri sudah tidak dapat dicegah. Hal tersebut didukung dengan munculnya podcaster yang berasal dari kalangan artis, influencer, dan public figure. Podcast Obrolan Seputar Islam atau disingkat OASIS merupakan podcast baru yang bertema dakwah Islam untuk kalangan remaja dan dewasa. Beragam jenis podcast menyebabkan satu dan lainnya harus bersaing untuk mendapat pendengar setia dan mengunggah konten yang baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Studi kasus dilakukan pada Podcast OASIS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah podcast Obrolan Seputar Islam memiliki strategi komunikasi yaitu mengedepankan konten yang relate dengan kehidupan menggunakan gaya storytelling, melakukan integrasi dengan media sosial dalam membagikan aktivitas, dan menggunakan teknik word of mouth di lingkungan sekitar. Melalui strategi tersebut, podcast OASIS memiliki pencapaian yaitu memiliki 8 episode dengan 187 kali penayangan di Youtube dan bisa mengikuti kegiatan dari STAIN Mandailing Natal.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has influenced the educational sector, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to analyze the utilization of Artificial Intelligence in preparing Islamic Religious Education learning materials at SMK Negeri 1 Belitang Madang Raya and to identify the opportunities and challenges faced by teachers. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving four Islamic Religious Education teachers as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that teachers utilized Artificial Intelligence to search for references, summarize materials, prepare learning content, and develop evaluation questions. The use of Artificial Intelligence increased efficiency, facilitated access to learning resources, and supported innovative learning. However, challenges such as information validity, limited digital literacy, internet accessibility, and dependence on technology were also identified. Therefore, teachers still play an important role in validating learning materials to ensure their compatibility with Islamic values and educational objectives.
