Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan penerapan penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall, dan menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh dan efektif penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan yaitu kuantitatif, bermetode ekseperimen semu (Quasi experiment). Populasi penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII, dengan Sampel Kelas VIII A (kelas eksperimen) dan Kelas VIII D (kelas kontrol). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Deskriptif Persentase, Uji Independent Sample T-Test dan Uji N-Gain Score. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS terdiri tiga komponen yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penilaian pembelajaran. Diperoleh nilai Pre-Test dan Post-Test di kelas eksperimen sebesar 48 dan 83, sedangkan di kelas kontrol sebesar 40 dan 49. Analisis uji t menunjukkan perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Analisis n-gain menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai n-gain di kelas ekseprimen mendapat nilai 67,98% berkriteria “cukup”. Rata-rata n-gain di kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan media mendapat nilai 14,99 % berkriteria “tidak efektif”. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the use of Wordwall learning media, and analyze how much influence and effective the use of wordwall learning media in improving the learning outcomes of VIII grade students at SMPN 2 Bumiayu Brebes Regency. The type of research used is quantitative, with a quasi-experiment method (Quasi experiment). The population of this study was all VIII grade students, with samples of Class VIII A (experimental class) and Class VIII D (control class). Data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are Descriptive Percentage analysis, Independent Sample T-Test and N-Gain Score Test. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of social studies learning consists of three components, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the learning assessment stage. The Pre-Test and Post-Test scores in the experimental class were 48 and 83, while in the control class were 40 and 49. The t-test analysis showed a difference in the average learning outcomes in the experimental class and control class with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The n-gain analysis showed that the average n-gain value in the experimental class scored 67.98% with the criteria "sufficient". The average n-gain in the control class without using media got a value of 14.99% with the criteria "not effective".
