Abstract

The 21st century education demands the integration of STEM into learning to improve technology skills, and students' literacy skills can be increased. One of the ways teachers should guide students to face the challenges of the 21st century is by updating the learning resources used. However, in reality schools still use printed teaching materials, have not integrated STEM well, and students' knowledge and literacy are still low. One solution to this problem is to develop STEM-integrated electronic teaching materials (ETMS) to increase new literacy for class XI high school students. This research uses R&D method with the Ploom development model. The research carried out is only limited to the development and prototype stages. The analytical technique used is the use of Aiken's V formula. The results of the first study were in the form of an ETMS design. The results of the second study are valid ETMS with an average value of 0.94. Based on the results of the study, two conclusions can be drawn. First, ETMS contains STEM development activities related to the facts of real world problems, technology and working principles, as well as mathematical concepts of physics. Second, the results of the prototype stage consist of self-evaluation and expert review. ETMS is valid based on five indicators of validity assessment, namely material substance, visual communication display, learning design, software utilization, and STEM assessment. This ETMS can be an alternative learning resource to improve students' new literacy.

Abstract

In the 21st century, students are required to master the 4C skills, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. These four skills are essential so that students are ready to face various complex challenges in the future. To achieve this goal, success is needed in the learning process, including in integrated science learning. One concrete effort to support the success of integrated science learning is through the development of effective teaching materials, especially electronic teaching materials that can be used independently by students. In the context of this study, the product developed is an integrated science e-teaching material integrated with the Project-based Learning (PjBL) model and the ethnoscience context. This e-teaching material is specifically designed to encourage mastery of 21st century skills in grade VIII junior high school students. The e-teaching material was developed using Flip PDF Professional software. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). These stages include needs analysis, product design, teaching material development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure product quality. The results of the study indicate that the development of integrated science e-teaching materials that integrate the PjBL and ethnoscience models is proven to be valid and practical for use in learning. The implication of this study is the availability of innovative teaching materials that have great potential to improve students' 21st century skills, in line with the demands of contemporary education. The existence of these e-teaching materials is expected to be a solution in overcoming the 4C skills gap that is still found in students, as well as encouraging a more effective and relevant integrated science learning process.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century requires students to have the ability to adapt, think critically, and creatively, which is in line with the direction of the Merdeka Curriculum which emphasizes mastery of essential competencies and the formation of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, preliminary findings at SMAN 1 Lembah Gumanti indicate that there are still various obstacles in the physics learning process, especially on sound waves. These obstacles include the low use of technology-based teaching materials such as e-modules, not optimal application of ethnoscience and meaningful learning approaches, and the lack of creative thinking skills and conceptual understanding of students. Through a descriptive statistical approach, this study maps the factual conditions of learning in the school. The results of the analysis showed that the teaching materials used were still dominated by printed versions that were less attractive and did not support the development of 21st century skills. The average score of students' knowledge reached 64.9%, while creative thinking skills were still relatively low with an average score of 50.8%. On the other hand, teachers have not fully integrated local cultural values through the ethnoscience approach or optimally applied the meaningful learning approach in the learning process. These facts emphasize the need for learning innovation through the development of physics e-modules integrated with ethnoscience and meaningful learning approaches to improve learning quality.

Abstract

Indonesia is the second country with the largest geothermal potential in the world because Indonesia has many volcanoes and active tectonic activity causes the formation of geothermal energy around the mountain. The population growth rate in Indonesia is soaring, this condition is inversely proportional to the availability of non-renewable energy in Indonesia. The solution is to look for alternative energy substitutes, namely renewable energy, for example geothermal. This study aims to see the development and trends in the use of geomagnetic methods for geothermal exploration. The method used is bibliometric with a quantitative approach. Data retrieval and processing used the publish or perish application integrated with Google Scholar. The data used were 200 articles published on Google Scholar during 2015-2025 and 80 keywords found. Data analysis techniques by looking at the development of article trends each year, data network visualization, data overlay visualization and data density visualization.
