Abstract

Technological, social, and environmental changes are occurring globally. The disruption of technology will impact all sectors of human life. Sociocultural changes occur in the demographics and socioeconomics of the world population. During this chaotic condition, the Indonesian nation, with a large population and natural resources, must inevitably adapt to the global environment. Statistics Center Agency and World Bank data show that Indonesian student enrollment rates are rising, but preschool and tertiary gaps remain. Despite rising student enrollment, Indonesian education remains in crisis. One of the backbones of the nation's civilization to face global competition is good and mature planning in the education sector that adapts to global demands. This paper reviews the future of Indonesian education based on the mapping between Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s education model, the Indonesian education roadmap 2020-2015, the disrupted education model in 2020, The WEF Education 4.0 Framework, and the Future of the classroom model. This paper results in a future Indonesian education model framework to realize Indonesia's education vision for 2035.

Abstract

This paper discusses the methodology used by K.H. Ahmad Sanusi (1888-1950) in his interpretation of Rawdhat al-'Irfân and Malja' at-Thâlibîn and his answer to the Islamic religious polemic in Priangan in the 1930s. The book of interpretations of Rawdhat al-'Irfân and Malja' at-Thâlibîn is an interpretation of the Qur'an in Sundanese with pegon script. Ahmad Sanusi gives a characteristic Sundanese style in his interpretation as well as his critical response to the ideological competition between modernist and traditional Islam. His position has never been separated from the ranks of the Sunni Islamic tradition which tends to be more flexible in understanding the local traditions of the archipelago. This paper uses the method of analytical description of two books of interpretation by scholars of the archipelago so that it is hoped that this writing can give fresh air and introduce interpretations in Sundanese Tatar with Pegon script. It is concluded that the methodology of the two books of commentary Rawdhat al-'Irfân and Malja' at-Thâlibîn has differences, including (1) Tafsir Rawdhat al-'Irfân uses bi ra'yi interpretation which is based on the ijtihad mufassirnya and makes reason as the main way in interpreting the Qur'an while Tafsir Malja' at-Thâlibîn uses the interpretation of bi matsur (tafsir History) although in some places it does not prevent Sanusi from connecting his interpretation with the socio-religious background of his time; (2) in terms of method, the book of Tafsir Rawdhat al-'Irfân uses the ijmali method which tends to be presented globally, while the interpretation of Malja' at-Thâlibîn uses the tahlili method; (3) in terms of style, the interpretation of Rawdhat al-'Irfân places more emphasis on fiqh, while the interpretation of Malja' at-Thâlibîn tends to be more inclined to the teachings of the Sunnah Wal Jama'ah scholars, both in terms of Fiqh, theology and Sufism.

Abstract

The limitation of time, cost, and manpower have been the main problems in facilitating post-training learning. Based on this issue, the research aims to develop a web-based learning platform based on knowledge management system as a learning supplement for independent post-training learning. The development of the application adopted the SECI model which stands for Socialization, Externalization, Combination, and Internalization. The system will record data used as an indicator for making decisions on the material and giving automatic recommendations for each participant. The methodology used in this study is a model proposed by Davidson-Shiver, Rasmussen, dan Lowenthal that consists of Analysis; Evaluation Planning; Concurrent Design which includes design, development, initial implementation, and formative evaluation; Full Implementation; and Summative Evaluation and Research. There are 2 data analysis techniques, qualitative data analysis to measure the accuracy of utilization procedures; and quantitative data analysis to measure technical quality in the form of media validity and learning outcomes. Based on the material expert validation, the material obtained a percentage of 98.75% which is very feasible; media expert validation gained a percentage of 81.25% with a very feasible category; small group trials obtained a percentage of 81.5% in the very feasible category; and product testing obtained a percentage of 87.125%. The results of pre-test and post-test data processing showed an average increase in learning outcomes of 41.53%, with a completeness level of learning outcomes at 90% in the very effective category. As a result, the data inferred that the media is very decent and effective to be used as a supplement for independent post-training learning.

Abstract

Elementary School students are Alpha generation children who understand technology. With today's increasingly rapid technological developments, concept maps can be used to support learning with computer technology by utilizing the CSCL model so that students can interact and collaborate anytime and anywhere online. For this reason, interactive multimedia development was carried out with CSCL learning strategies assisted by Concept Map for concept understanding of elementary school students. This development research aims to produce interactive multimedia to improve the understanding of grade 5 elementary school students in aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. We use the Lee & Owens model to test the product's feasibility. In addition, to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of grade 5 elementary school students, an N-Gain Score normality test and a hypothesis test were carried out using paired sample t-test on pretest and post-test value data. The developed product is interactive multimedia with CSCL learning strategies assisted by Concept Map, and it is equipped with content in the form of reading materials, learning videos, and evaluation tests. The results of interactive multimedia validation produce excellent criteria based on material aspects, learning media aspects, and learning design. The response of grade 5 elementary school students received excellent criteria for the feasibility of multimedia learning as a learning medium. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was concluded that there was an increase in learning outcomes after using interactive multimedia with CSCL learning strategies assisted by Concept Map.

Abstract

This article presents an explanation of the implementation of hybrid training as a form of teacher professional development at Wahid Hasyim Junior High School in Malang. Hybrid training is a pedagogical approach that combines online and face-to-face learning to improve the quality of education and teachers' abilities. This programme is implemented with stages (1) pre-implementation, (2) implementation and (3) post-implementation. The pre-implementation stage is passed by preparing all aspects needed. The implementation stage includes the training process which is conducted online but participants follow it simultaneously in one room. The post-implementation stage is carried out through reflections from the training instructor during the activity. This mode of training is expected to provide opportunities for teachers to explore their learning experiences widely through the application of online learning as exemplified in this training programme.
