Abstract

This article examines the social literary approach to interpreting the Qur'an. The social literary approach is perceived as a portrayal of the social and cultural milieu surrounding the commentator. Although this approach appears more attuned to society, it transpires that the social literary approach employed by commentators exhibits less affinity towards contemporary culture, traditions, and politics in Indonesia. This is because commentators place greater emphasis on imparting advice and reminders for adhering to Islamic principles. Present-day developments are constrained to conform to classical interpretations, with dissenting interpretations being deemed erroneous. The lack of flexibility, accommodation, and adaptability to local traditions and culture is evident in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The current phenomenon in Indonesia entails endeavors to realize religious moderation to uphold the unity, harmony, and peace of all Indonesian citizens. This pursuit of religious moderation necessitates new interpretations that are adaptable and not rigidly bound to culture and differences. Reconstructing the social literary approach is a necessary measure to achieve this goal. The methodology employed in this article is qualitative-interpretive and draws upon acculturation theory, which underscores cultural diversity. The reconstructed approach outlined in this article advocates for an interpretation of the Qur'an that integrates with culture and tradition, rather than imposing itself upon them. Three key considerations are delineated for actualizing the social literary approach in interpreting the Qur'an: observing phenomena, accounting for spatial and temporal contexts, and prioritizing the public good.

Abstract

Ankle ROM training involves two movements: dorsiflexion and plantarflexion, which enhances calf muscle strength and pumping, facilitating venous return and reducing oxygen and nutrient diffusion, thus promoting overall health. This study provides active lower ROM intervention to diabetes mellitus patients twice a day for 6 consecutive days simultaneously. This type of research uses quasi-experimental research using two groups pretest-posttest, namely an experimental design where there are control and intervention groups. The samples in this study were 35, of which 17 samples were for the intervention group and 18 samples were for the control group. The research found that ankle ROM exercises significantly improved the DNE score and ABI value in both the intervention and control groups, with a statistical test result of p = 0.000 in the DNE score. It can be believed that there is a significant difference between the DNE scores of the intervention group, and the control group after doing ankle ROM exercises (p = 0.000), then H0 was rejected or there was an effect of ROM exercises on reducing the risk of neuropathy. Meanwhile, the ABI value showed a statistical test result of p = 0.002 and it can be believed that there is a significant difference between the ABI values of the intervention group and the control group after ankle ROM exercises (p = 0.002), so H0 is rejected or there is an effect of ROM exercises on reducing the risk of Angiopathy.

Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses the existence of Islamic education in Indonesia which was born from the treasures of civilization and the development of Islam in the archipelago. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on library research. The results of analysis show that traditional Islamic educational institutions such as dayah in Aceh, surau in Minangkabau, langgar in Madura, and pesantren throughout the archipelago are an integral part of Islamic education in Indonesia. On the other hand, the influence of modern culture brought by the Dutch colonial government also had a significant impact on the dynamics of the development of Islamic educational institutions. The awareness of the Indonesian Muslim community on the importance of the development of modern education brings transformation and adaptation in Islamic educational institutions. The emergence of elite Islamic schools is part of the dynamic development of contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. These elite Islamic schools reflect changes in the landscape of Islamic education, where Islamic education previously represented by traditional educational institutions such as surau, madrasah, and pesantren is experiencing modernization implications.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the legal protection of legal protection for victims of cyber crime as a form of transnational crime. In addition to creating laws and regulations that safeguard victims of phishing, the goal of this research is to establish legal protection for victims of cybercrime, a form of transnational crime. This study employs a normative juridical research methodology that blends statutory and conceptual frameworks. The following are the results of the research: 1) Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions and Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection are examples of previous legislative regulations that regulate protections for victims of cross-border information crimes and electronic transactions. 2) Cybercrime victims' legal protection as a form of transnational crime. Essentially, two methods are available for use: 1) the procedural rights model, in which the victim has the right to attend all court proceedings and takes a more active role in the prosecution; 2) the service model, according to which victims are seen as individuals who require assistance from law enforcement in order to feel as though their rights are upheld in a just setting. Every step of the investigation, trial, and post-trial phases of the process needs to include virtual and in-person support for victims of cybercrime.

Abstract

The development of Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) models for networked learning systems heavily relies on the specific application case study and the accurate parameterization aligned with the chosen computer vision feature extraction models. This study proposes an MLP model for identifying potassium deficiency in cocoa plants. The feature extraction methodology employs object feature extraction that commonly used in computer vision, including Local Binary Pattern (LBP), Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM), and Hue Saturation Value (HSV) models. These computer vision techniques aid in analyzing leaf characteristics classified into two categories: normal conditions and leaves identified with potassium deficiency. The dataset used in this research comprises two conditions: with a white background and without any specific background. The study evaluates various feature extraction techniques based on MLP parameters, incorporating network learning rates and optimizing solvers. Employing the ROC analysis method throughout the data collection, algorithm development, validation, and analysis phases reveals that the most effective classification performance, reaching up to 93.33% accuracy on the background dataset and 90.00% on the non-background dataset, is achieved using HSV-based color feature extraction with MLP parameters set at an initial learning rate of 10-3 and employing the Adam optimization solver. These outcomes underscore the suitability of HSV color feature extraction for identifying potassium deficiency in cocoa plant leaves. However, optimizing parameters remains crucial to maximize its application in real-time identification systems. Future research should refine these parameters to enhance the model's robustness and efficacy across broader agricultural contexts.
