Abstract

The independent curriculum evaluation aims to determine the extent to which the curriculum is implemented well and to identify how the Independent Curriculum is implemented in schools, learning practices and supporting factors, as well as the obstacles and challenges faced. This research uses the CIPP implementation evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data collection methods are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation, with an approach mixed method. The interview subjects consisted of program heads, senior teachers, and students. The program head was chosen because he has strategic insight into program planning and objectives. Interview data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while observation data was analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The research results show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is generally considered good in all aspects of CIPP, but still needs to be improved to reach the very good criteria. The practice of implementing the curriculum is also quite satisfactory, supported by the enthusiasm of teachers and school principals in building learning communities and developing innovation. Supporting factors, such as the readiness of teaching staff and infrastructure, also play an important role in successful implementation. Barriers to research are limited textbooks, lack of teacher competence in evaluating assessments, as well as obstacles faced by students. In conclusion, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools throughout Bima City is considered good, but needs further improvement, especially in the aspects of assessment and provision of learning resources so that the results are more optimal.

Abstract

Proper sanitation is a crucial factor in creating a healthy environment and supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the Open Defecation Free (ODF) target (Bappenas, 2023). Pangandaran Regency achieved 100% ODF status in 2023, but monitoring one year later revealed that Harumandala and Kertajaya Villages experienced setbacks, with some residents returning to open defecation practices. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving ten competent informants. The findings indicate that although sanitarians have received STBM training, the implementation of triggering activities is hindered by a lack of human resources, limited funding from ADD and BOK, and inadequate understanding of STBM guidelines among informants. Additionally, transportation facilities are privately owned, and STBM planning is conducted annually, but no specific STBM organization has been established at Cigugur Health Center. Socialization efforts are carried out through triggering activities and counseling, with both direct and indirect supervision by relevant stakeholders. The main obstacle in maintaining ODF status is limited funding, which hinders the sustainability of the program. Therefore, a strong collective commitment and improved funding strategies are essential to ensure that Harumandala and Kertajaya Villages can regain and sustain their ODF status.

Abstract

This research aims to summarize and describe the importance of formulating a vision and mission in educational institutions. The method used in writing this scientific article is by using the library research method. In an educational institution, the vision and mission are very important. The vision and mission of an educational institution is the foundation that serves as a guide for all stakeholders, from managers, teaching staff, to students. The vision reflects the image of the future desired by the institution, while the mission describes the concrete steps that will be taken to realize that vision. Therefore, the success of an organization is largely determined by the process of formulating the vision and mission of the educational institution. Formulating a vision and mission also plays a key role in increasing the accountability of educational institutions. By setting specific goals in the mission, institutions have a basis for measuring their performance and achievements. This helps create high standards of quality and accountability, which in turn contributes to improving the overall quality of education. Schools must carry out their duties well as educational institutions whose mission is to achieve educational goals. In recognizing its role as an educational institution, schools must be managed well to achieve the formulated educational goals optimally without hesitation

Abstract

Along with the development of social thought and dynamics, various leadership theories have emerged, ranging from classical theories that emphasize the characteristics of individual leaders, to contemporary theories that emphasize situations, interpersonal relationships, and emotional approaches. This study aims to comprehensively examine leadership theories and styles in an institutional context, especially in the educational environment. Through a literature study approach, the author analyzes various leadership styles that have been developed, such as autocratic, directive, participative, transformational, and teaching leadership. The results of the study show that leadership effectiveness is largely determined by the suitability between leadership style and situational context. There is no leadership style that is absolutely perfect, because its effectiveness depends on the characteristics of the organization, employee needs, and the accompanying social dynamics. Therefore, effective leaders are those who are able to adjust their leadership approach flexibly and strategically. This study emphasizes the importance of developing adaptive, professional, and moral leadership in order to face the challenges of modern organizations, especially in the world of education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine students' character using the traditional game media pérèt jèngkol. This research is descriptive research that uses case studies. This game was played for 6 days (6 meetings) and researchers used observation sheets and videos to "see" how students' characters developed during play from the first day to the following days. After carrying out observation activities, the data taken from the observation sheet and video will be rearranged by the researcher and then grouped into existing tables. A person's character must be formed when they are still small, so that they are more accustomed to doing positive things. In the modern era like now, children experience a decline in character values, because there are so many negative things they can see and imitate. Other negative things include a lack of social skills and direct communication, because too much time is spent playing with gadgets, a lack of patience in children in facing challenges so they have difficulty concentrating on certain tasks or activities, children will also become dependent on gadgets so they Loss of interest in playing outdoors. To overcome this problem, researchers want to examine how the character changes experienced by students in elementary schools by playing the traditional game PÈRÈPÈT JÈNGKOL ngkol. The conclusion is that observing the character of elementary school children can be done through several efforts, such as playing the traditional game pérèt jèngkol. Apart from that, this way can also preserve culture

Abstract

The 21st century presents many challenges. Including the world of education, which requires flexible, skilled, and technology-aware human resources. The government, schools, and society form the pillars of HR to answer these problems. The principal, as the smallest community, is responsible for student development in accordance with modern learning requirements. School-based management is a management method based on student involvement. Thus, supporting resources are very important because each educational institution has control over human resources, finances, and the environment. SD IT Darul Hikmah has the ability to adapt to modern school-based management. Having a strategy to manage the institution so that it becomes a reference elementary school for new students and a religious-based literacy school is part of the institution's resources. How does SD IT Darul Hikmah deal with the challenges of human resource development in this century? By using a literacy approach and interviews conducted directly with the principal and teachers as sources, a qualitative descriptive method is used in this paper. The data collected shows that the resources owned by the principal have the ability to act as a leader in the management of Islamic educational institutions.
