Abstract

The results obtained by the students are expected the goals of learning process. Feedback from students is processed through reflection and analysis during the learning process, so as to make improvements in the implementation of the next lesson. Lessons are conducted in the classroom for students, not only by memorizing facts and knowledge transfer, but also the students are challenged to find their own material to be learned by their own, so that learning actually useful perceived. The subject of Mathematics emphasizes reasoning in nature; instead emphasize the results of the experiment or observation results. Mathematics formed because human minds associated with ideas, processes and reasoning. Based on field observations indicate that there are still many students of Sukatani Elementary National School 4 in District Depok who earn math test scores below the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria). This condition is quite alarming and disturbing in view of the material on the comparison and scale is also an important material for controlled so that students achieve the competencies that have been defined. For that we need to use a learning model that is better than before. Various models of learning can be applied in teaching Mathematics; one of them is cooperative learning Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD). The analysis of data in this study is to perform calculations in order to answer the formulation of the problem and to test the hypotheses that have been proposed. Due to the formulation of the problem and the hypothesis is directional influence, and then used to predict the dependent variable when the independent variables are known, then the data analysis by using simple regression and multiple regressions. Among assay instruments used were: 1). T‐test, 2). Simple Linear Regression, and 3). Analysis of Determination (R2). As for the coefficient determinant (KP) is formulated by KP = R2 x 100% or KP = R Square x 100%. Overall, the score of variable X (STAD model) amounted to 3021 with the highest score is 99 and the lowest is 70. Meanwhile, the scores obtained from variable Y (Student Results) is 2999 with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score 67. Based on the Model Summary Table it can be seen KP = R Square x 100% = 0.750 x 100% = 75%. This value indicates that the Cooperative Learning Model STAD contribute to Math Student Learning Outcomes of 75.0%, or it can be concluded Mathematics Student Learning Outcomes influenced by the Cooperative Learning Model STAD 75% while the remaining 25% are influenced by other factors which is not mentioned in this study, for instance: infrastructure, student motivation and so on. Finally, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model STAD affect the learning outcomes of students of Sukatani Elementary National School 4 in District Depok.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis hama dari gejala dan tanda kerusakan dari perlakuan macam pupuk kandang terhadap tiga jenis padi. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2018 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2019, tempat penelitian di Dusun Brongsongan, Desa Sidorejo, Kecamatan Bendosari, Kabupaten Sukoharjo dengan jenis tanah Grumusol dan ketinggian tempat ± 125 meter dpl. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) yang di susun secara Split Plot terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu macam jenis padi  ( V ) sebagai main plot ( petak utama ) dan pupuk kandang ( P ) sebagai sub plot ( anak petak ), sehingga diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan masing-masing diulang 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ( 1 ) Jenis hama yang di temukan pada saat penelitian yaitu hama belalang hijau dengan intensitas serangan tertinggi pada perlakuan jenis padi hitam dan pupuk kandang kambing  ( V1P2 ) yaitu rata-rata 27.12%, hama penggerek batang putih dengan intensitas serangan tertinggi pada perlakuan jenis padi merah dan tanpa pupuk ( V2P0 ) yaitu rata-rata 26.85%, hama burung bondol jawa dengan intensitas serangan tertinggi pada perlakuan jenis padi merah dan perlakuan pupuk kandang kambing ( V2P2 ) yaitu rata-rata 32.63%, dan hama tikus sawah dengan intensitas serangan tertinggi pada semua perlakuan jenis padi putih dan pemberian macam pupuk kandang yaitu rata-rata 90.00 %. ( 2 ) Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap intensitas serangan hama terhadap tiga jenis padi. ( 3 ) Jenis padi merah dan perlakuan pupuk kandang kambing ( V2P2 ) memiliki hasil tertinggi untuk berat kering panen dan berat kering giling yaitu rata-rata 421.21 gram/m2 dan 283.70 gram/m2, serta untuk berat 100 biji yang tertinggi pada perlakuan jenis padi merah dan perlakuan pupuk kandang sapi ( V2P1 ) yaitu rata-rata  2.64 gram/m2.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze existence of inequality of employment absorption and determine the effect of the minimum salary, the number of manufacturing industry, and output of manufacturing industry towards inequality of employment absorption of manufacturing industry in regencies/cities of East Java in 2008-2012. The data collection method uses documentation method. Then, The writer uses the Index Entropy Theil (IET) to measure inequality of employment absorption as dependent variable. Meanwhile, to determine the effect of independent variable toward the dependent variable uses method regression analysis panel data with model common effect approach. The results of this study shows that there are inequality of employment absorption of manufacturing industry in East Java province of the Year 2008-2012. Minimum salary, the number of manufacturing industry, and theoutput of manufacturing industry effect positive and significant effect on inequalityof employment absorption ofmanufacturing industry in regions/cities in East Java.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the influence of Price Earning Ratio (PER), Leverage Ratio (LR), Return On Equity (ROE), Price to Book Value (PBV) on Stock price in the insurance company. The analysis used the quantitative analysis of multiple linear regression model using ordinary least squares (OLS). From the results, it could be explain that the variables price earning ratio, leverage ratio, return on equity and price to book value has a significant influence on Stock price together was amounted to F calculated 3,896 > F table 2,61. From the t test, each variables that significantly influence the Stock price were PER (2,108 t calculate > t-table 2,021), ROE (2,654 t calculated > t-table 2,021. On the contrary,  the variables that were not impact significantly were LR (1,318 t calculated < t-table 2,021) and PBV (-3,141 t calculated > t-table -2,021). Based on these results, obtained empirical evidence that could be considerated towards a more in-depth study on Stock price. It would be interesting if further study pay attention to the technical factors as well as policies set by the government.

Abstract

Pembelajaraan karakter sangat diperlukan , agar siswa dapat dibekali lebih dini tentang tantangan zaman yang cepat berubah. Perubahan tersebut dapat diimbangi, dengan pendidikan karakter yang mumpuni , sehingga para siswa mempunyai jiwa dan hati yang teduh, saling tepo seliro, saling menghormati dan kasih sayang pada sesamanya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli dan Agustus 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan pelaksanaan kegiatan secara langsung serta evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pembelajaran akhlakul karimah melalui kegiatan Idul Adha, terlihat siswa lebih toleran dan menghormati sesama siswa serta dapat menghormat kepada para guru dan orang tua dirumah. Selain itu mereka lebih memahami secara teori dan praktek nilai- nilai pengorbanan pada perayaan Idul Adha.

Abstract

This paper discusses numerical simulations of horizontal flow propeller turbines. Static bulbs located before the turbine can be used to increase water velocity and potentially increase the turbine's performance. The blade angle affects the gap between the blades, and this will also affect the performance of the turbine. Numerical simulations were conducted by using software Solid Works Flow Simulation 2016 and by using five blades in a static state. This study aimed to determine the effect of the bulb ratio and blade angle on the propeller turbine characteristics on horizontal flow. Bulb Ratio variations used in this study were 0, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8, while the angle variations used were 20, 25, and 30 degrees. Each variation was tested at 0.02 m3/second. The results of this study indicated that the bulb ratio 0.6 with the 25-degree blade angle produces the highest torque

Abstract

This article examines the use of one grammatical metaphor (hereafter GM) syndrome frequently found in Indonesian written language. This syndrome follows the lexicogrammatical structure of Process+Range or Process+Medium. Informed by Systemic Functional Linguistics (hereafter SFL), this study focuses specifically on Indonesian language research articles (hereafter RAs) as these have not been explored much in relation to GM. While GM typically increases the lexical density of a clause by condensing meaning into nominal groups, this GM syndrome seems to do the opposite. For example, rather than writing merubah ‘changed’ as the lexicogrammatical structure of Process, writers use melakukan perubahan ‘do some changes’, which has the lexicogrammatical structure of Process + Range. This has the effect of delexicalizing the verb as well as increasing the number of words in the clauses. Instead of seeing this form as a mere ritual in academic writing, this article seeks to understand the functional role of this form in academic articles. The analysis was conducted with a metafunctional lens, examining the ideational, interpersonal and textual functions of this form of GM through a systematic analysis of small corpus of journal articles from two refereed Indonesian humanities journals. The analysis reveals that ideationally, the GM syndrome is a resource to manage technicality, abstraction, taxonomy and activity sequence; textually, the syndrome is a resource organizing textual coherence through the management of hyperThemes; and interpersonally, the syndrome functions as a resource for Graduation, which decreases the force of propositions.

Abstract

Morphology, in the study of Arabic linguistics known as the discipline ‘ilm al-ṣarf, as part of grammar which examines the internal structure of words, has an urgency to be studied in depth. Especially in the context of Arabic studies that embrace typologies of complex inflective languages. This article examines the Arabic morphological system from a modern linguistic perspective, especially on derivational and inflectional changes. The discussion begins on the conception of derivation and inflection in the view of modern linguistics, as an introduction to see the system of derivation and inflection changes in Arabic linguistics. Morphological theories of Arabic grammars, in this article developed and communicated with modern linguistic theories. From this development a new formula was produced in the study of Arabic morphology which is expected to provide a more systematic description of the understanding of the Arabic morphological system.

Abstract

The Arab States has faced political turbulence since January 0f 2011. This political event began by suicide action from a youth named Mohammed Bouazizi (Tunisia)until it spread to the other states such as Egypt, Syria, and the like. The political event became the beginning of the people power to fight against dictator regime in most of the Arab States. The rise of the people power succeeded to end the power of some tyrannical regimes, beginning from Tunisia, Zein Al-Abidin Ben Ali, followed by the end of Mubarak’s regime in Egypt, Syria still having political turbulence until now in order to overthrow Bashar al-Assad’s regime, and some other Arab States which can’t be irrespective from the political turbulence. This political event is called “The Arab Spring”, that is the coming of the hope for the better life with a democratic system. This writing tries to discuss chronology of that event and also tries to find out factors becoming cause of the political turbulence.

Abstract

Kawasan Riung terletak di pantai utara Pulau Flores, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, Ngada. Kawasan ini memiliki banyak pulau yang membentuk suatu kawasan pariwisata yang saling melengkapi satu sama lain dan membentuk sebuah taman laut surgawi yang unik. Banyak keunikan-keunikan yang ditawarkan oleh Riung, diantaranya keanekaragaman hayati, pantai berpasir putih dengan birunya air yang sangat jernih, hingga pulau-pulau yang masih “suci” dengan keunikan alamnya yang tidak dapat ditemukan di daerah lain. Namun, keindahan akan Riung belum banyak terekspos baik secara nasional bahkan internasional, sehingga wisatawan yang datang masih cenderung sedikit. Menindaklanjuti permasalahan yang ada maka tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata, Universitas Sebelas Maret (KKN UNS) merekomendasikan untuk dilakukan pemetaan dengan menggunakan drone sehingga potensi wisata yang ada di Riung bisa disebarkan dengan lebih menarik dan secara luas di dunia. Pemetaan dilakukan secara professional menggunakan drone yang telah dimodifikasi oleh tim KKN UNS, sehingga menghasilkan video yang menarik untuk disaksikan. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak lokasi wisata yang ada di Riung masih belum terekspos media, padahal lokasi ini mempunyai potensi besar untuk menarik wisatawan dalam maupun luar negeri. Beberapa lokasi tersebut adalah pegunungan, air terjun dan rumah adat yang ada di kabupaten Ngada, Nusa Tenggara Timur.
