Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of disciplinary character in building student self-regulation learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 2 Palangka Raya. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved 1 PAI teacher, 8 students who met the learning discipline criteria, and supporting informants in the form of BK teachers and student waka in class X-6. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The results of the study show that the character of discipline has a fundamental role in building students' self-regulation learning. From observations of learning discipline indicators according to Arikunto, which include attendance, attention during learning, assignment completion, and completeness of learning equipment, 8 students were found who met all learning discipline criteria. These students showed better ability to manage time, monitor the learning process, and evaluate academic achievement independently in accordance with the characteristics of self-regulation learning presented by Yong-Chil. The example of PAI teachers who are consistent in demonstrating disciplined behavior, combined with structured learning strategies such as weekly lesson planning systems, learning reflection journals, and active learning techniques, has proven effective in integrating the three phases of self-regulation learning according to Zimmerman, namely planning, monitoring, and evaluation. However, the study also identified both internal inhibiting factors such as time management difficulties and lack of metacognitive awareness, as well as external factors such as an unconducive learning environment and lack of social support. This study concludes that although the character of discipline plays an important role in building self-regulation learning, the process requires comprehensive support from teachers, families, and the education system to achieve optimal outcomes in PAI learning.

Abstract

Self-management teaching as an effort to overcome the phenomenon of learning loafing among students, because learning loafing refers to students' unwillingness to actively engage in the learning process, which is often caused by a lack of motivation and effective self-management. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the ways that teachers do in self-management teaching as an effort to overcome learning loafing in PAI learning. To achieve this goal, this study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were PAI teachers and 10 students majoring in XI TKKR. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results showed that the application of self-management teaching by teachers at SMKN 3 Palangka Raya includes time management techniques, motivation development, and the creation of a supportive learning environment. Students involved in the self-management process showed an increase in learning engagement and achievement, as well as a decrease in lazy learning behavior. From these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of self-management teaching can significantly reduce learning loafing and improve the quality of PAI learning.

Abstract

Indonesia holds significant potential for sea cucumber aquaculture due to its abundant natural resources. This study aims to map suitable sites for sea cucumber farming around Saugi Island by analyzing physical and chemical water parameters using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Data were collected from 10 sampling stations through field surveys and analyzed using the weighted overlay method in ArcGIS 10.8. Parameters evaluated included temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, water clarity, and depth. Results indicate that the northern, southwestern, and eastern parts of Saugi Island are highly suitable for sea cucumber farming, while the northwestern, northeastern, and parts of the southeastern areas are less suitable. These findings provide a valuable reference for sustainable sea cucumber farming and can support local economic development.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze how the Deep Talk Critical method is applied by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers to enhance student self-disclosure and the impacts of this method on learning effectiveness. Methodology: This qualitative field research employed triangulation of data sources, including interviews, observation, surveys, and documentation. The Miles and Huberman analysis model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing was used. The study also defined four self-disclosure indicators: openness, empathy, support, and equality, based on interpersonal communication theories. Main Findings: Findings indicate the Deep Talk Critical method is highly effective (85.72%) in fostering student self-disclosure. Specific indicators showed high performance: empathy (90.41%), equality (88.63%), support (84.87%), and openness (78.97%). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes to PAI communication strategy literature by formalizing Deep Talk Critical as a practical pedagogical model for strengthening self-disclosure and emotional intelligence among students.

Abstract

In order to enhance the quality of education, government educational institutions provide supervision and guidance, which is defined as the effort of school officials in leading teachers and other officers in improving teaching. This encompasses stimulating, selecting, and fostering the growth and development of teachers, as well as revising educational goals, teaching materials and methods, and evaluating teaching. The scope of educational supervision is divided into two aspects: the human aspect and the activity aspect. The human aspect of educational supervision concerns the attitudes of all those involved in educational institutions, including teachers, administrators, and other staff. It encompasses issues such as duty, work discipline, work morale, honesty, and obedience to organisational rules. The aspects of activity, as defined by Suwoto, include how to work (how to teach), methods of approaching students, work efficiency, and work results. Three operational elements that must be considered in this aspect are: (1) educational techniques, (2) administrative techniques and (3) coordination and cooperation. However, each aspect of the scope has its own set of realities, problems and hopes to be realised in order to improve the quality of educational institutions.

Abstract

Islamic philanthropy and social entrepreneurship have created solutions in addressing the problems that occur for maximizing economic, social, and religious activity. In this study review, Islamic philanthropy links the elements of zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf in terms of social entrepreneurship with elements of social value, civil society, innovation, and economic activity. The data was obtained using literature studies and interviews on Lazismu Bengkulu as an Islamic philanthropic movement and CV. Presidium on the social entrepreneurship movement. Then, data were processed using Nvivo and drawn conclusions through word similarity analysis. Findings. The synergy between employers and society plays a role in addressing problems against poverty alleviation, wealth equality, community welfare, creating social benefits, optimizing social capital, innovation in problem-solving efforts, building a balance between social activities and business activities. Integration of these two movements explains the dominant increase compared to the decline by presenting an impact on production, consumption, investment, economic growth, and economic stability. In the analysis of word similarity, efforts of synergy and integration concluded that both movements could be implemented in practice because they support each other and have close links to achieve goals and increase the dominant impact of social, economic, and religious activities.

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah masalah kesehatan global utama yang meningkatkan risiko penyakit kardiovaskular seperti stroke, gagal jantung, dan penyakit ginjal kronis. Di Indonesia, prevalensinya terus meningkat seiring perubahan gaya hidup dan penuaan populasi. Pengelolaan hipertensi bertujuan mencapai kontrol tekanan darah optimal untuk mengurangi risiko komplikasi. Pedoman JNC 7 merekomendasikan penggunaan terapi farmakologis seperti diuretik, ACE inhibitor, ARB, CCB, atau beta blockers, baik sebagai monoterapi maupun kombinasi. Namun, implementasi pedoman ini sering terkendala variasi pola peresepan, akses obat, dan kondisi pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Drug Prescribing patterns JNC 7 pada tekanan darah pasien lansia yang mengalami hipertensi yang sedang menjalani rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang. penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif observasional noneksperimental dan pengambilan data secara retrospektif. Data yang digunakan berasal dari data rekam medik pasien hipertensi. Hasil uji didapatkan hubungan antara Drug Prescribing Pattern terhadap kontrol tekanan darah pada pasien lansia dengan hipertensi yang menjalani rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang menggunakan pedoman JNC 7 pada bulan Januari 2025 mendapatkan didapatkan nilai  p value 0,003 (0,005) setelah uji Chi-Square. Jika dosis, jenis, frekuensi pola peresepan obat hipertensi sesuai dengan pedoman JNC 7 maka tekanan darah pasien lansia yang menjalani rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang lebih dapat terkontrol hasil tekanan darah setelah diberikan pengobatan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore information about tips by philanthropists in maintaining their philanthropic motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic, conditions that are burdensome for philanthropy, the intensity of philanthropy, and how they invite others to philanthropy. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, open questionnaires, and documentation. The analysis was carried out using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that some of their main tips in maintaining their philanthropic motivation were: a strong commitment to sharing sustenance, believing that alms can keep away all problems, philanthropy has become a necessity and joining alms management groups. Conditions or things that have the potential to burden philanthropists: when there is an urgent need, when income is decreasing, the location is remote, and when the institution is no longer trustworthy. The majority of philanthropy levels remain even during the pandemic. As for how to invite others to do philanthropy, such as inviting them directly together, explaining the virtues of alms including through social media, giving examples of philanthropy, distributing brochures and orphanage calendars.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the intention of developing students' soft skills through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMKN 3 Palangka Raya. Non-technical skills such as critical thinking skills in solving problems, effective interpersonal communication, and collaboration in groups, are important aspects that students must have in order to face challenges in the professional world. The research approach used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), by adopting the spiral model from Kemmis and McTaggart which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. A total of 30 students from class X Culinary 2 were used as subjects in this study, but only 28 students were consistently involved in each learning cycle. The analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative, with data collection methods in the form of observation, questionnaire distribution, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The findings showed that the percentage of soft skill mastery increased, from 76.48% in the first cycle to 78.00% in the second cycle, both of which were included in the "good" category. This fact indicates that the implementation of well-designed and contextually appropriate problem-based learning can encourage significant improvements in the development of students' soft skills. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan maksud untuk mengembangkan kecakapan soft skill peserta didik melalui implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMKN 3 Palangka Raya. Keterampilan non-teknis seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan masalah, komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif, serta kolaborasi dalam kelompok, merupakan aspek penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa guna menghadapi tantangan di dunia profesional. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan mengadopsi model spiral dari Kemmis dan McTaggart yang mencakup tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, serta refleksi. Sebanyak 30 peserta didik dari kelas X Kuliner 2 dijadikan subjek dalam penelitian ini, namun hanya 28 orang yang secara konsisten terlibat dalam setiap siklus pembelajaran. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dokumentasi, serta wawancara mendalam. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa persentase penguasaan soft skill mengalami peningkatan, dari 76,48% pada siklus pertama menjadi 78,00% pada siklus kedua, yang keduanya masuk dalam kategori “baik”. Fakta ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang dirancang dengan baik dan sesuai dengan konteks dapat mendorong peningkatan signifikan dalam pengembangan kemampuan soft skill siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis keabsahan akad perkawinan melalui media elektronik perspektif hukum positif dan hukum Islam, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pandangan ulama Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama terkait keabsahan akad perkawinan melalui media elektronik, dan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan titik konvergensi antara hukum positif dan hukum Islam terkait keabsahan perkawinan melalui media elektronik dan dampak hukumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Mataram, mengingat informan yang akan di wawancarai berada di Kota Mataram Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Mengingat lokasi sangat strategis untuk dijadikan lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum yang bersifat yuridis-normatif, dan dilengkapi oleh data-data empiris. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian maka pendekatan yang digunakan antara lain adalah: 1) Pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach); 2) Pendekatan konseptual (conseptual approach); 3) Pendekatan kasus. Instrumen dan pengunpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Metode analisis hasil penelitian melibatkan teknik-teknik seperti analisis domain, analisis taksonomis, analisis komponensial, dan analisis tema. Keabsahan Perkawinan yang dilakukan melalui media online berdasarkan hukum Positif dan hukum Islam, bahwa Dalam konteks hukum positif, keabsahan perkawinan yang dilakukan melalui media online dapat berbeda-beda tergantung pada regulasi yang berlaku di setiap negara, termasuk di Indonesia. Secara hukum positif, belum ada ketentuan yang mengatur secara tegas tentang perkawinan yang dilakukan secara online, akan tetapi berdasarkan beberapa kasus, pernikahan tersebut, diwajibkan untuk pengajuan atau permohonan isbath nikah. Titik konvergensi antara hukum positif (undang-undang) dan hukum Islam terkait keabsahan akad perkawinan melalui media elektronik dapat berada pada beberapa aspek yaitu 1) aspek pengakuan hukum, 2) syarat sah akad, 3) perlindungan hukum bagi para pihak dan keabsahannya, 4) Aspek kepastian hukum.
