Abstract

This study aims: 1) Parental Responsibilities for Islamic Education in the Qur'an According to Tafsir Al-Misbah and Tafsir Al-Wasith, 2) Relevance of Parental Responsibilities for Islamic Education with Current Education. The type used in this research is qualitative research, namely research by means of descriptions in the form of words and language in a special natural context by utilizing various scientific methods that aim to provide explanations through the method of library research. The results of the study show that: 1) Parental Responsibilities for Islamic Education in the Qur'an According to Tafsir Al-Misbah and Tafsir Al-Wasith are found in: 1) Q.S. Al-Anfal Verses 27-28 (Responsibility of Faith Education), 2) Q.S. Ash-Shfft Verse 102 (Responsibility of Akhak and Intellectual Education), 3) Q.S. Luqman Verse 12-19 (Responsibility of Moral Education), 4) Q.S. At-Tahrim Verse 6 (Responsibility of Faith Education). 2) The relevance of parental responsibility in educating early childhood is that parents should feel worried if their offspring are weak so that every parent is required to form a quality generation with physical and spiritual education, including inviting children to play sports and play. Parents are encouraged to implement faith education, moral education and intellectual education for their children because later these parents will be held accountable in the afterlife. To apply Aqidah and faith education to children, one of them is by introducing the understanding that God created all creatures. Shows that parents always educate children with good morals in terms of words and deeds.

Abstract

The Research and Development and Training Agency of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has instructed every madrasah unit to integrate science because madrasahs have a mission of integrating science, MAN 2 Model Medan as a pilot madrasah in North Sumatra certainly implements integration but the pattern and model of integration applied are not yet known. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the understanding of MAN 2 Model Medan policy makers about the integration of Islamic religious education and science and to determine the planning, implementation and model of integration of Islamic religious education and science at MAN 2 Mode Medan . The type of research used by the researcher is qualitative research. The researcher conducted observations and collected data naturally without manipulating the subjects studied. The researcher used data collection techniques by means of observation, observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions of data takes place and after the completion of data collection in a certain period, in the form of all written or oral data from people and observed behavior. Based on the research results, it was found that: 1) The understanding of MAN 2 Model Medan policy makers regarding the concept of integrating Islamic religious education and science does not yet have original administrative guidelines. However, policy makers continue to implement the integration of Islamic religious education and science with the guidelines of the independent curriculum, namely KMA No. 437 of 2022 and its renewal in KMA No. 450 of 2024; 2) Planning the integration of Islamic religious education and science in learning through annual independent curriculum workshops and MGMP meetings and planning P5RA activities; 3) Implementation of the Integration of Islamic religious education and science through several activities, namely teaching and learning activities, extracurricular activities, Madrasah Science Competition (KSM) activities, P5RA activities and superior activities of the MAN 2 Model Medan Dormitory; 4) The model for the integration of Islamic religious education and science at MAN 2 Model Medan is the integration of scientific materials (Religion, Science and social) and integration through the instillation of Islamic studies in various madrasah activities

Abstract

Tidak dapat disangkal bahwa agama dan ilmu pengetahuan menjadi semakin penting bagi keberadaan manusia. Terlepas dari prediksi teori sekularisasi, dampak agama terhadap eksistensi manusia tidak berkurang seiring dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan di masa kontemporer. Banyak kelompok yang telah memperhatikan peningkatan signifikan dalam pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan dan agama, khususnya dalam kaitannya dengan interaksi keduanya. Perlunya mempraktekkan visi etis yang sesuai ditekankan oleh kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan sebagai penerapan aksiologi ilmu pengetahuan. Meskipun ilmu pengetahuan telah memberikan umat manusia kekuatan untuk mencapai hampir semua hal yang mereka inginkan, kekhawatiran mereka melampaui kemampuan manusia. Dalam hal ini, yang lebih penting adalah perlunya mempertimbangkan etika ketika memilih tindakan yang akan dilakukan demi kesejahteraan manusia lebih lanjut. Tujuan pengembangan gagasan etis dalam sains pada kenyataannya adalah mencapai tingkat normatif yang menawarkan petunjuk spesifik tentang bagaimana peneliti harus berperilaku sebagai manusia. Akan sulit untuk menghubungkan definisi etika yang abstrak dengan permasalahan dunia nyata.

Abstract

This article explores the transformation of Islamic educational institutions in North Sumatra, Indonesia, focusing specifically on pesantren and madrasahs. This article used a qualitative approach that integrates historical, social, and philosophical analysis to examine changes and developments in the Islamic education system. The findings reveal that the evolution from traditional educational institutions to modern ones significantly impacts Islamic education approaches and practices, including management, learning strategies, and curriculum development tailored to contemporary educational needs. The discussion highlights the importance of pesantrens and madrasahs within Indonesia's national education framework and how these institutions adapt to the challenges of the times. The conclusion emphasizes the critical role of Islamic educational institutions in shaping and maintaining Indonesia's cultural and religious identity while providing education relevant to modern demands. This research offers insights into how Islamic educational institutions in North Sumatra endure and thrive amidst social and educational changes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the positive impact of the development of television through film, especially in presenting deep moral values. The research method used is Library Research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through written sources, especially book texts in libraries and information from the internet, which relate to educational values ​​and morals. The focus of this research is on the values ​​of Moral Education contained in the film "Sang Kiai" by Rako Prijanto. Analysis of this film reveals the depth of the moral message connected to Islamic values ​​from the books of classical scholars. The research results show that "Sang Kiai" is not only entertainment, but also conveys a deep moral message, in accordance with the teachings of classical Islamic literature. The significant contribution of this film in the context of contemporary Islamic education lies in its role as a tool for teaching moral values. This research provides in-depth insight into how films such as "Sang Kiai" substantially convey the values ​​of moral education, relate them to classical Islamic literature, and contribute to modern Islamic education. The conclusion of this research is that works of art such as films have an important role in spreading and strengthening moral values ​​in society. Films, such as "Sang Kiai", have the potential to become vital instruments in moral education in the future. The prospects of this research indicate that film can be an effective means of conveying moral values ​​in modern Islamic education, with the potential to provide a significant positive impact.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation and implementation of the 5S (Smile, Greet, Greet, Polite, Polite) school culture program towards cultivating the character of student religiosity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Langkat and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Medan. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive research with the type of multisite study. Through a multisite study approach, this research examines the impact of the 5S program on the formation of religious values. Data mining methods in this research include: observation, interviews, and documentation studies to gain an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of this program. It is hoped that the research results can provide useful insights in improving students' religious aspects through implementing 5S school culture. The results of this research show that 1) The 5S school culture program implemented at MIN 6 Langkat and MIN 6 Medan is planned based on the vision, mission and goals of the Institution; 2) The implementation of the 5S school culture program at MIN 6 Langkat and MIN 6 Medan aims to shape students' religious character, carried out by making congregational prayers a habit, a clean environment, infaq/almsgiving, and a culture of Al-Qur'an literacy being part of daily activities; 3) Continuous evaluation is carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and develop improvements to increase its impact in shaping student character and spirituality.

Abstract

This research aims to explain how the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented in Islamic Religious Education subjects at Harapan Mandiri Middle School in Medan. The research method is qualitative using a critical discourse analysis approach, namely observing facts that actually occurred and comparing them with related documents and testing the level of achievement. The research results obtained are, firstly, the Merdeka curriculum at Harapan Mandiri Middle School in Medan includes three activities, namely diagnostic assessment, P5 (Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project), and PMO (Project Management Office). Both PAI teaching processes with the Independent Curriculum at Harapan Mandiri Middle School in Medan have fully adopted the Independent Curriculum approach in planning, implementation and assessment. The three student learning outcomes when the Merdeka Curriculum was applied to Islamic Religion subjects at Harapan Mandiri Middle School in Medan showed a significant increase in the cognitive and psychomotor aspects, but the affective aspect experienced a less significant increase. The four obstacles in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religion subjects at Harapan Mandiri Middle School in Medan involve senior teachers who are less familiar with technology as an internal problem, and parents who do not understand the Merdeka Curriculum as an external problem. The recommended solution to overcome obstacles in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at Harapan Mandiri Middle School in Medan is that teachers must improve their pedagogical competence by reading educational books, writing scientific papers, following the latest news, and taking part in training. Parents of students who do not understand the Merdeka Curriculum are advised to can communicate effectively and provide regular explanations regarding the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efforts of teachers, parents, and forms of collaboration in developing adolescent morals. This type of research is part of qualitative research using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) model by searching 161 articles through the DOAJ and Garuda databases, selecting 13 articles according to the criteria. The research results show the teacher's holistic efforts through strategies towards students and their key role in shaping the character of teenagers. Collaboration between parents and teachers involves various methods, includes internal and external aspects, and adapts to the local cultural and educational context. This review indicates that collaboration between teachers and parents has a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of adolescents, supporting the view that moral education for adolescents requires synergistic support and cooperation. This research also provides directions for future research, including technological, cultural, organizational and behavioral aspects at different levels and regions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Wahdatul Ulum”. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana fondasi, prinsip-prinsup, serta implementasi paradigma Wahdatul Ulum. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apa pengertian dan fondasi paradigma wahdatul ulum? (2) Apa saja prinsip-prinsip wahdatul ulum? (3) Bagaimana implementasi paradigma wahdatul ulum dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan?. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research (penelitian Pustaka). Sumber data utama meliputi buku-buku, serta karya-karya ilmiah terkait Wahdatul Ulum. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan analisis mendalam terhadap Wahdatul Ulum dengan buku-buku yang berkaitan.
