Abstract

Military parents with good discipline and firmness in educating their children, including parents who live in the Bukit Barisan Gaperta Military Command I complex in Medan, certainly have a good influence on the implementation of children's online learning. This study aims to describe the efforts of military parents in assisting children to learn online, as well as their roles as teachers, facilitators, motivators, and coaches. This study uses a type of field research with qualitative methods and a descriptive analysis approach. Data was collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques as well as data analysis with data reduction techniques, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the military's efforts towards online learning are: 1) as teachers, parents act as educators, mentors, and companions in learning; 2) as facilitators, parents play a role in providing online learning facilities, channeling information between teachers and students, and providing other supporting educational facilities; 3) as a motivator, parents act as a support system, provide rewards, and motivators to encourage good faith, character, and worship; 4) as coaches, parents act as supervisors in learning, provide punishment that educates, applies discipline, and is firm in making decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of children's education in the perspective of the Koran. In this context, the essence of the meaning of the term tarbiyah becomes the basic foundation of research. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data collection and analysis was carried out using scientific reference materials, including scientific articles, books, proceedings and final assignments (thesis, theses, dissertations) which were tracked via the internet on the google scholar indexer, DOAJ, science direct, and scimago JR. The results of this study found that the concept of child education in the Qur'an contains an element of "love" like parental education for children in the concept of tarbiyah. The elements of the concept of education for children in the perspective of the Qur'an describe learning obligations, educational goals, the role of educators, educational objects, educational methods, and educational materials for children. Thus, the education given to children is comprehensively based on the worldview of monotheism in realizing human beings (perfect).

Abstract

Science is knowledge or a set of conceptions, principles, laws, and philosophies that are formed through the scientific method (systematic). The systematic method includes a continuous process of observation and experimentation. This study aims to describe the structure of science as a concept of the scientific method. The focus is teaching for elementary age children. This type of research is a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Sources of data and analysis materials based on scientific references from credible pages, Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Sinta. The results of this study indicate that the scientific structure in science learning helps children to think systematically and logically in observing and experimenting with nature. Through this research, it is understood that there are 5 (five) elements in educating children about the structure of science as the concept of the scientific method, namely identification of targets, format of statements, variety of statements, main functions, and systematic structures.

Abstract

Epistemology related to philosophy can be likened to a branching tree. The tree of philosophy has branches in the form of subdisciplines. Philosophy of science, ethics, aesthetics, philosophical anthropology and metaphysics. Epistemology as a branch of philosophy is devoted to the sources of knowledge. To arrive at an understanding of Islamic epistemology, it is necessary to use a genetivus subjectivus approach, which places Islam as the subject and object of epistemology. Epistemology as a result of human reason does not intend to interpret Islam, but aims at how to acquire knowledge, how the methodology of knowledge, the nature of knowledge and so on related to epistemology. So by itself Islamic epistemology studies Islam itself, or in other words epistemology according to Islam. This formulation makes a distinction between Islamic epistemology in general. Islamic epistemology in addition to general epistemology concerns relevance as a source of knowledge and inspiration. Epistemology generally assumes that truth is human-centered because humans have the authority to determine knowledge. This paper tries to compare epistemology in the Islamic and Western worlds as teaching the conception of thinking for elementary age children.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers to carry out online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The background of the research is at SD IT Khairul Imam Medan, conducted qualitatively with analytical descriptive method. Obtaining data used interview, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses reduction, data display, and verification techniques. The data was declared valid after going through the triangulation technique test. The results of this study indicate that the teacher of SD IT Khairul Imam Medan is competent (capable) in carrying out online learning during the Covid pandemic. This is indicated by (1) the school's efforts to provide virtual workshops, training, and webinars on making lesson plans (RPP); and (2) training for teachers in the use of online applications as online learning media. Furthermore, some factors support the implementation of online learning at the school, namely the provision of free wifi facilities in schools and the use of free data packages from the government for the process of implementing online learning. Even so, there are also inhibiting factors, namely unstable network access (signal) constraints, online RPP Mode that is not in accordance with the reality of its implementation, and the lack of discipline and honesty of students in carrying out assignments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the learning outcomes of the Al-Qismul 'Ali Al-Washliyah Kedaisianam Batubara Madrasah students who are taught by the induction method and the analogy method, (2) the learning outcomes of the Al-Qismul 'Ali Al-Madrasah students' yellow book learning outcomes. Washliyah Kedaisianam Batubara with high and low reading abilities, and (3) the interaction between nahwu shorof learning and students' ability to read on the learning outcomes of the yellow book students of Madrasah Al-Qismul 'Ali Al-Washliyah Kedaisianam Batubara. The research was conducted at Madrasah Al-Qismul 'Ali Al-Washliyah Kedaisianam Batubara. This type of research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research model. Based on the Cluster Random Sampling technique, one class is taught by the induction method and one class is taught by the analogy method. The research instrument is a test used to obtain data on student learning outcomes. The normality test for learning outcomes data is the Liliefors test and the homogeneity test is the Fisher's test and Bartlett's test. The analysis technique is a two-way ANOVA at a significance of = 0.05, followed by the Scheffe test. The research findings show: (1) the learning outcomes of the yellow book students who were taught by the induction method at the students of Madrasah Al-Qismul 'Ali Al-Washliyah Kedaisianam Batubara were higher in the yellow book learning outcomes of students who were taught using the analogy method. This is proven by testing the research hypothesis with statistical results Fcount = 11.78 while the value of Ftable = 4.018 for dk (1.55) and the real level = 0.05, (2) learning outcomes of students with high reading ability are higher from the results of learning the yellow book of students with low reading skills. This is proven by testing the research hypothesis with statistical results Fcount = 26.82 while the value of Ftable = 4.018 for dk (1.55) and the significance level = 0.05, and (3) there is an interaction between nahwu-shorof learning and reading ability on the yellow book learning outcomes at Madrasah Al-Qismul 'Ali Al-Washliyah Kedaisianam Batubara. This is proven by testing the research hypothesis with statistical results Fcount = 17.29 while the value of Ftable = 4.018 for dk (1.55) and the significance level = 0.05.

Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan dan Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam terbentuknya integrasi keilmuan yang mumpuni. Di zaman modern ini, sangat dibutuhkan, apalagi pada pendidikan Islam penggabungan antara pelajaran berbasis agama dan umum. Lembaga pendidikan yang mumpuni dan mampu menampung integrasi kelimuan itupun harus diperhatikan serta dapat diwujudkan melalui penerapan Integrasi Ilmu Agama dan Sains Terhadap Pendidikan Islam di Era Modern ini. Beberapa konsep telah dihadirkan para ahli demi terwujudnya integrasi keilmuan ini yaitu adanya konsep Filosofis, Materi, Metodologi dan Strategi. Implikasinyapun dapat dilihat dari beberapa segi diantaranya dilihat dari Kurikulum, Proses Belajar Mengajar dan Aspek Pendidikan Sosial. Abstract

Prof. Wan Mohd Nor Wan Daud memberikan penjelasan bahwa dari segi linguistic, ‘ilm berasal dari akar kata ‘ain-lam-mim yang diambil dari kata ‘alamah, yaitu tanda, penunjuk, atau petunjuk yang dengan sesuatu atau seseorang diikenal; kognisi atau label; ciiri; petunjuk; tanda. Dengan demikian, ma’lam (jamak, ma’alim) berarti tanda jalan atau sesuatu yang dengannya seseorang membimbing dirinya atau sesuatu yang membimbing seseorang. Seiring dengan hal itu, maka ‘alam dapat pula diartikan sebagai petunjuk jalan, dan bukan tanpa alasan jika penggunaan istilah ayah (jamak, ayat) dalam al-qur’an yang secara literal berarti tanda yang merujuk pada ayat-ayat al-qur’an dan fenomena alam. Menurut Prof. Wan Mohd Nor Wan Daud Konsep ilmu dalam Islam mempunyai beberapa ciri utama. Ilmu itu tidak terbatas sebab ia berpuncak daripada Allah SWT yang Maha Mengetahui dan berakhir dengan-Nya. Abstract

Prinsip kebenaran menurut dalam perspektif Islam bisa diketahui melalui tiga aspek kebenaran umum yang didasari dengan prinsip filsafat yakni dengan menggali ilmu pengetahuan dala upaya memahami adapun posisi agama ialah mengusahakan pengetahuan dalam hal ibadah. Kemudian, filsafat kebenaran ialah tidak mutlak melainkan relative tergantung sudut pandang mana ia dilihat dan ditinjau. Apabila terdapat suatu masalah yang tidak mampu diselesaikan dengan ilmu pengetahuan, maka dapat dicari tahu beberapa kemungkinan ataupun spekulasi dan terkaan. Ilmu pengetahuan ialah pengetahuan yang terpola secara sistematis dan tersusun dengan melalui pendekatan empiris sehingga berkaitan dengan dimensi ruang dan waktu juga berdasarkan kepada panca indera yang terdapat pada mahluk, pemikiran rasional maupun pendapat umum. Dan agama sendiri sebagai sekumpulan peraturan maupun tata cara bagiamana pelaksanaan mengabdi dan terikata akan keTuhanan dan hal-hal yang menjadi prinsip pada ajaran dan kepercayaan agama tersebut. Dalam hal yang apabila manusia tidak melaksanakan sebagaimana yang seharusnya maka akan mendapatkan sanksi dan ganjaran atas segala perbuatan yang dilakukannya . Maka agama kebenarannya adalah mutlak adapun terkait filsafat dan ilmu pengetahuan dipandang sebagai kebenaran relatif.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Manusia pada hakikatnya, akan selalu berusaha meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan yang dimilikinya. Hal ini dilakukan karena dengan pengetahuan akan menimbulkan kepuasan tersendiri sesuai tuntutan zaman, tidak hanya sebatas pengetahuan semata, tetapi lebih kepada pengetahuan dan kebenarannya. Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa yang dimaksud dengan sains untuk mengetahui apa saja tujuan sains. Untuk mengetahui apa saja objek kajian sains. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian penelitian bahan pustaka (Library Research), yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan di pustaka dan menggunakan bahan-bahan bacaan berupa buku, dan majalah. Hasil : Berawal dari sinilah filsafat sains digunakan untuk mempelajari, mengungkap, dan menyelesaikan permasalahan sains bagi kehidupan manusia. Kesimpulan : Penelitian ini membahas tentang apa itu sains dipandang dari segi filsafat, tujuan sains, serta objek yang dikaji daam sains.
