Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders can occur in various levels, ranging from mild to severe. These musculoskeletal disorders usually occur due to work factors or conditions in the workplace such as improper posture, static, and repetitive activities, and can also come from physical exposure such as temperature and vibration. Musculo Skeletal Diseases (MSDs) is a group term for several diseases and injuries to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones. MSDs can affect the back, cervical area, and upper and lower extremities, resulting in pain and disability. Data obtained from the Head of RW 003 Joho Kidul Environment, Giriwono Village, Wonogiri, stated that many residents of Joho Kidul Environment have complaints of musculoskeletal pain such as shoulder pain, back pain, knee pain, and other pain. This can be caused by a lack of knowledge about musculoskeletal pain and efforts to treat it independently. Counseling is needed to increase knowledge about musculoskeletal pain and independent treatment efforts, as well as the need for appropriate health service facilities to help reduce musculoskeletal pain complaints in residents in order to improve quality of life and work productivity. Results: the presence of participants during 1 activity was 85 participants. The gender of participants/residents in community service was 34 men and 51 women. The average age of participants was 56 years, average weight 59 kg, average height 155 cm, according to BMI, 21% of participants were overweight and 17% were obese. As many as 30% of participants had diabetes (GDP> 125), 26% of male participants suffered from high uric acid (> 7.0 mg / dL), 37% of female participants suffered from high uric acid (> 6.0 mg / dL). There were 36 participants who underwent acupuncture therapy with complaints of musculoskeletal pain. Conclusion: Community service with counseling and self-empowerment as well as acupuncture services for musculoskeletal pain sufferers can increase knowledge about the causes and self-prevention efforts and can help serve musculoskeletal pain sufferers with acupuncture therapy for residents of RW 003 Joho Kidul Environment, Giriwono Village, Wonogiri

Abstract

Unusual social norm behavior or what is referred to as new habits has an impact on the process of service interaction during the Covid-19 pandemic. Service providers face a dilemma between implementing health protocols with the consequence of reducing service quality dimensions or the behavior of continuing to ignore health protocols with the consequence of a massive virus transmission process. The pandemic period destroys all unusual service interactions, leading to changes in service models and having an impact on customer satisfaction.    The purpose of the preset study was to examine the effects of social norms on intimacy, competence, disgust and humanness as well as customer satisfaction on retail service interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic. A sample of 257 respondents was analyzed using AMOS 22.0.    Results of the analysis show that, first, unusual social norm had an effect on the intimacy of waiters with customers. Second, unusual social norms had an effect on waiters’ competence. Third, unusual social norms had an effect on disgust in service interactions. Fourth, unusual social norms had an effect on humanness in service interactions. Finally, intimacy, competence, disgust and humanness had an effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Effective teaching methods are essential to facilitate students' cognitive, social, and emotional development. One of the approaches proposed in the Merdeka Curriculum is Project Based Learning (P5), which invites students to be directly involved in the learning process through real projects. The research method used is a causal quantitative method with a population of 5th grade students at SDN Karangesuki 4 with a sample size of 54 students. The data analysis technique uses a t-test with a significance level of 5%. The T-test used is a separated variant or polled variant with a calculation tool in the form of SPSS. Based on the results of the research and discussion, several conclusions can be put forward. The conclusions that will be put forward in this research are as follows. 1) There is an increase in collaboration skills between students who learn using project-based learning and students who learn using LKPD (Learner Worksheets) on the theme "Use of Used Goods" class 5 at SDN 4 Karangbesuki, Malang City. It can be seen that the post-test average for the experimental group using project-based learning was 19.058, while the post-test average for the control group was 14.117. Based on the average increase in students' collaborative learning skills, it can be concluded that the increase in students' collaborative learning skills is higher in children who use project-based learning. 2) The results of the analysis of student responses on collaborative learning skills showed that the final percentage of student responses was 81.18% which was classified as very positive. Abstract

Background: Low back pain is one of the musculoskeletal disorders caused by poor body activity. Acupuncture for low back pain can stimulate the body to secrete endorphins which cause the body to become comfortable and relaxed, so that the degree of pain in the low back can be reduced. This study aims to compare the effect of Jin's 3 needles acupuncture therapy with Integrative Neuromuscular Acupoint System (INMAS) on changes in the degree of low back pain. Methods: This study used the two groups pre and post test design. The sample was 36 research subjects who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were selected using a simple random sampling technique, divided into 2 groups, namely the Jin's 3 needles group and the INMAS group. The data were analysed using the Wilcoxon test for changes within groups and the Mann–Whitney test for comparisons between groups. Results: The acupuncture therapy intervention of the Jin's 3 Needles method and the INMAS method is effective in reducing the degree of low back pain (p-value:<0.001). There is no significant difference between acupuncture therapy interventions Jin's 3 Needles method and INMAS in reducing the degree of low back pain (p value 0.769). Conclusion: There is an effect of acupuncture therapy Jin's 3 Needles and INMAS on changes in the degree of low back pain and there is no significant difference between the two interventions. Both interventions can be considered as non-pharmacological treatment options for lower back pain.

Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi Swasta saat ini harus memastikan kinerjanya terdefinisi dan tercapai dengan jelas, pencapaian kinerja harus di ukur dan dievalausi secara berkala sehingga dapat dirumuskan hal-hal yang mendorong dan menghambat kinerja Perguruan Tinggi Swasta. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi penerapan sistem informasi, ISO 9001:2008 dan intervensi audit internal dalam kinerja PTS di Indonesia. Melalui metode kuantitatif penelitian ini menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 200 responden untuk mendapatkan persepsi terhadap variabel yang dianggap dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan PTS, melalui pengolahan data statistik dengan SPSS.diperoleh model Y=0,307X1+0,554 X2+0,403 X3. Selanjutnya dilakukan validasi kepada tujuh pakar untuk terdiri atas pengelola, pimpinan dan ahli SDM bidang Perguruan Tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan manfaat kepada pengelola Perguruan Tinggi untuk menyusun kinerja dengan memperhatikan faktor yang dianggap mempengaruhi seperti sistem informasi, ISO 9001:2008  dan intervensi audit mutu internal sehingga menjadi organisasi yang memiliki kinerja tinggi dan secara jangka panjang dapat mempertahankan  kinerja untuk kemajuan organisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on line and angle materials. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research conducted at SMP N 6 Semarang in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year through the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This research was conducted with two cycles. The research subjects were students of class VII B SMP N 6 Semarang. The research instruments used were learning tools, evaluation/reflection sheets. Data collection techniques in this study were tests in the form of description questions given to students at the end of each cycle to determine the learning outcomes of students. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on data analysis, it was found that by using the TaRL approach on line and angle material, there was an increase in learning outcomes, namely pre-cycle by 0%, cycle I by 11.76%, and cycle II by 88.23%. It can be concluded that the application of the TaRL approach to line and angle material can improve the learning outcomes of students in the cognitive aspect.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most significant health problems in the world. This condition is characterized by increased systolic and diastolic blood pressure that can lead to serious complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. Treatment of hyper­tension generally uses anti-hypertensive drugs, but long-term use may cause side effects. This research is a quantitative research with a Quasi-Experimental design. The research subjects amounted to 40 people who were divided into two groups. Group I acupuncture therapy and group II acupuncture and cupping therapy. The results of data analysis using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.004. This shows that the p<0.05 value means that cupping combination acupuncture therapy is effective in lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients in Simpang Luas Village, Sungai Are District, Ogan Komerig Regency, South Ulu.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities, especially for SMK students, is to improve human resource skills, by providing knowledge and skill development in using the MYOB application in preparing financial reports, as well as E-Taxation. Faced with the current developments in the industrial revolution 4.0 era, it has had a significant impact on the financial reporting process that was previously manual to become system-based, including in the field of taxation. The target community service is students of SMK West Bandung 2 Jl. Raya Cihampelas No. 88 KBB. It is hoped that after participating in this activity students will be able to understand the basic concepts of accounting, be able to compile financial reports with the MYOB application in accordance with the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), as well as fill out related to taxation electronically. Community service methods for SMK students by providing theoretical and practical knowledge as well as question and answer (discussion). From the process of increasing understanding of the Myob and E Tax applications, it will become a provision, especially for students who will pursue further education at a higher level or who will work to become more prepared and confident. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh diskriminasi usia tenaga kerja terhadap tingkat pengangguran di PT. Epson Indonesia. Hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu diskriminasi usia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran. Populasi terdiri atas tenaga kerja berusia 18‑60 tahun, kedua jenis kelamin, yang bekerja atau mencari kerja di sektor industri formal Cikarang, sampel diambil sebanyak 57 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang dipakai adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif‑kausal, menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert sebagai instrumen utama. Data dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana melalui SPSS 22, dilengkapi uji validitas, reliabilitas (Cronbach’s α > 0,60), serta asumsi klasik (normalitas, linearitas, heteroskedastisitas). Hasil menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan diskriminasi usia terhadap tingkat pengangguran (koefisien = 1,088; R² = 0,816; p < 0,05), sehingga hipotesis diterima dan diskriminasi usia menjelaskan sekitar 81,6 % variasi tingkat pengangguran.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the level of religious understanding radicalism among students of the Public Faculty and Religious Faculty, respectively. The initial hypothesis was that the level of religious understanding radicalism of the students in the Public Faculty would be higher than that of the students in the Religious Faculty. The research employed an ex post facto method and used t-test to analyze the data. The study was conducted in 2018 at the State Islamic Institute of Surakarta, an Islamic religious college in Surakarta. The research population consisted of all students from 22 departments in the academic year of 2016, totaling 10,980 people. Samples were drawn from each department, with a quota of 10 students per department, resulting in a total of 220 sample members. The data collection used a questionnaire of religious understanding radicalism, which was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis included a sample randomness test, data normality test, and variant homogeneity test. The results showed that although the level of religious understanding radicalism was higher among students in the Public Faculty than those in the Religious Faculty, the hypothesis was not statistically proven. The study suggests that religious education cannot be solely correlated with formal education background and that students' interactions with extra campus organizations, both on and off-campus, play a significant role in shaping their religious understanding radicalism. Additionally, the religious education process in the Public Faculty at the State Islamic Institute of Surakarta could make students more moderate in their religious understanding.
