Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain (POE) relevan dan efektif dengan pembelajaran sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran POE terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest-posttest control group design. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas V SDN di Kota Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling subjek penelitian sebanyak 91 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes berbentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal berdasarkan indikator keterampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis dan uji N-gain. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil melalui uji Mann-Whitney bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0.000 lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas 0.05. Oleh karena itu, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ha diterima”, dan didukung dengan analisis N-gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang. Hal demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan atau pengaruh keterampilan proses sains yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. The effect of the Predict Observe Explain learning model on science process skills in elementary school Abstract: The use of the Predict Observe Explain (POE) learning model is relevant and effective for science learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the POE learning model on science process skills on the material of light and its properties. The research method used is the experimental method with the research design, namely, the pretest-posttest control group design. The implementation of this research was carried out in grade V SDN in Surakarta City. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling of research subjects, with as many as 91 students. The data collection technique was carried out with a test in the form of multiple-choice questions as many as 10 questions, based on indicators of science process skills. The data analysis technique used was hypothesis testing and the N-gain test. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained through the Mann-Whitney test show that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-2-tailed) The value of 0.000 is smaller than the probability value of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that ‘Ha is accepted’, and supported by the N-gain analysis obtained of 0.51 in the medium category. Thus, it can be said that there is a difference or influence of science process skills taught through the Predict Observe Explain learning model, better than the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Educating the characters is the process of giving, integrating and, forming teachers' characters for students. In the implementation of the education of characters in the school, the commitment of all the school's residents is required to implement it in a coherent manner. The study aims to analyse the education of characters in two elementary schools base on six pillars of the character, namely trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. This research method uses qualitative descriptive which describes the implementation of character education in elementary schools. Data collection methods use interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis involves three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and retrieval. The results of this study indicate that character education related to trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, care, and citizenship, has been implemented through various activities, including classroom learning, extracurricular activities, habituation, and collaboration with the local community. The significance of the effective education of characters can improve the quality of overall education. When students have a good personality, they will learn more easily, will be more disciplined and will be able to work together better in a group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar media gambar dapat Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Deskripsi Siswa kelas V Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada sekolah SD Negeri Nusukan Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil antara siklus I dengan siklus II ada perubahan secara signifikan, hal ini ditandai dengan peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Dengan melihat perbandingan hasil tes siklus I dan siklus II ada peningkatan yang cukup signifikan, Dari analisis data diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu 80,3 dengan persentase ketuntasan rata-rata 89% yang menunjukan peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori sangat terampil. Rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan menulis deskripsi peserta didik dari pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) menggunakan media gambar dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media gambar merupakan model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dimana model pembelajaran ini mempermudah pengertian/pemahaman siswa, memperjelas dan memperbesar bagian yang penting yang kecil sehingga dapat diamati, mempermudah pemahaman yang sifatnya abstrak, dan menimbulkan daya tarik pada diri siswa.

Abstract

Salah satu cara penyiapan aplikasi digital dalam mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut adalah dengan mengintegrasikan pemanfaatan aplikasi digital seperti Canva dalam perancangan dan pengembangan kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva untuk membangun keterampilan kewirausahaan pada jenjang pendidikan dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menggunakan PRISMA Flow untuk menyeleksi artikel. Sebanyak 13 artikel relevan diidentifikasi dan dianalisis antara tahun 2020-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kewirausahaan digital dalam pendidikan, termasuk pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva, berdampak positif terhadap pembangunan kreativitas, motivasi, dan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa. Canva juga terbukti efektif dalam beberapa penelitian untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bisnis dan mengembangkan keterampilan digital yang relevan. Tantangan dan kendala yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan waktu; kecemasan teknologi, solusi seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pelatihan guru dapat memaksimalkan potensi Canva. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah para pendidik harus mulai menyadari secara kreatif untuk mulai mengintegrasikan aplikasi seperti Canva untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan dengan memperhatikan perbedaan karakteristik siswa, seperti gaya belajar, kemampuan, minat, dan kesiapan belajar, serta guru dapat menyesuaikan metode pengajaran yang lebih tepat sasaran. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan tinjauan terhadap literatur yang membahas pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data deskriptif. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berfokus pada menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang efektif dan relevan bagi siswa, serta meningkatkan motivasi, minat, dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Berdasarkan analisis jenis penelitian eksperimen mendominasi karena bertujuan untuk membuktikan keefektifan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap berbagai aspek, seperti hasil belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kemampuan kolaboratif siswa. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi juga dianggap mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif serta membantu guru dalam merancang pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan dan gaya belajar siswa.

Abstract

Inclusive education is one of the efforts to fulfill the right to education for students with disabilities. However, the implementation of inclusive education still faces several challenges. This study aims to identify the challenges in implementing inclusive education, particularly in the city of Yogyakarta. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews and document studies. The subjects of this research consist of the head of the administrative sub-division and two technical service staff members, selected purposively. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the challenges in implementing inclusive education include discrimination and rejection in the admission of new students, teachers being unprepared to provide educational services for students with disabilities, a lack of facilities and infrastructure, as well as numerous unresolved cases involving students with disabilities due to complex handling bureaucracy. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of inclusive education in the city of Yogyakarta still faces several challenges.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss an analysis of collaboration profile through strengthening the Pancasila student profile project which is currently being implemented in primary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. In primary schools, the Pancasila Student Profile project is holistically connected to character development through a collaborative approach. Collaborative learning strategies in primary schools further strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile project, emphasizing positive relationships, collective responsibility, and the application of Pancasila values in daily learning practices. The interview findings underscore the significance of collaboration in fostering leadership skills aligned with Pancasila values among primary school students. Assigning leadership responsibilities and evaluating their impact on team dynamics contribute to character development, with observations focusing on changes in social interactions, classroom atmosphere, student motivation, and educational outcomes. In conclusion, the study reveals the integral role of collaboration in achieving the goals of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project.

Abstract

Language politeness among elementary school students remains a concern, as many still demonstrate inappropriate ways of speaking. This study aims to examine bilingual politeness mentoring in rural elementary schools using a systematic literature review (SLR) design. Data were collected through the PRISMA method from publications indexed in Google Scholar, Scopus, and ScienceDirect between 2021 and 2025. A total of 48 articles were initially identified, focusing on two main aspects: (1) teacher mentoring in bilingual politeness and (2) school-based programs supporting politeness development. The findings reveal that teacher mentoring plays a significant role in shaping students’ language politeness through modeling, habituation, and interaction. In addition, school programs support this process by facilitating communication and strengthening teacher–student relationships. In boarding school contexts, these programs enable teachers to take on extended roles as parental figures, fostering closer relationships and promoting respectful and polite communication among students.

Abstract

Dance extracurricular activities in elementary schools involve student social interaction but are not always optimally used to develop interpersonal intelligence. This study aims to analyze students’ interpersonal intelligence in dance extracurricular activities at Pondok 01 State Elementary School and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a qualitative case study approach with 12 students and one instructor selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that students’ interpersonal intelligence developed well, as reflected in their ability to communicate, cooperate, adapt, and resolve conflicts during activities. Supporting factors include student enthusiasm, active teacher involvement, and performance opportunities, while inhibiting factors are limited practice time, student character differences, and uneven discipline. Thus, dance extracurricular activities can effectively develop interpersonal intelligence if managed systematically and continuously.

Abstract

Minat belajar adalah salah satu aspek penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam diri siswa sehingga tercapai keberhasilan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa kelas III SD N Nusukan Surakarta masih rendah sehingga perlu ditingkatkan. Peneliti melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebagai langkah untuk menciptakan suatu pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif dan inovatif sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa melalui pemanfaatan media Wordwall dalam pembelajaran. PTK dilakukan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, pegamatan, dan refleksi untuk setiap siklusnya. Hasil analisis lembar observasi minat belajar siswa yang memperoleh presentase 78% masuk dalam kategori baik pada siklus I, 83,6% pada siklus II masuk kategori sangat baik, dan 91% pada siklus III masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hasil penelitian pemanfaatan media games edukasi Wordwall dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas III SD N Nusukan Surakarta yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan presentase pemenuhan indikator minat belajar siswa.
