Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic banking in increasing financial inclusion in Indonesia through microfinance products such as murabahah, ijarah, and qardhul hasan financing. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through literature studies and documentation from OJK, BI reports, and official publications of Islamic banks. The results of the study indicate that Islamic microfinance is able to reach unbankable communities, especially MSMEs. However, challenges in the form of lack of Islamic financial literacy and limited reach of digital services are still major obstacles. This study recommends strengthening Islamic financial education strategies and digitalization of services to support sustainable financial inclusion.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of QuillBot, an AI-based writing tool, in enhancing the English writing skills of EFL students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Using a pretest–posttest design with a quantitative approach, the research involved a sample of 15 students who received training in utilizing QuillBot for academic writing tasks. Students’ writing performance was assessed before and after a four-week intervention. The results demonstrated a significant improvement, with the average score increasing from 56.73 in the pretest to 75.67 in the posttest. These findings suggest that QuillBot effectively improves writing quality, particularly in grammar, vocabulary, and cohesion. However, the study did not compare QuillBot with other AI tools, nor did it explore its broader impact on motivation or critical thinking. Future research is recommended to conduct comparative studies and to investigate the long-term implications of AI integration in language learning.

Abstract

Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit RSUD X memiliki permasalahan perbedaan antara perencanaan dan pengadaan obat. Hal ini menyebabkan pengelolaan perbekalan farmasi yang tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui proses perencanaan dan pengadaan obat serta mengetahui rencana strategi perbaikan perencanaan dan pengadaan obat e-catalogue di RSUD X. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan data retrospektif dan data concurrent. Data retrospektif diperoleh dengan penelusuran terhadap dokumen tahun 2018 berupa data laporan keuangan, laporan perencanaan, pengadaan dan pemakaian sedian farmasi, alat kesehatan dan bahan medis habis pakai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perencanaan dan pengadaan obat e-catalogue belum baik, dikarenakan masih banyaknya hasil yang didapat belum sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditentukan. Rencana strategi yang dapat dilakukan perlu adanya pengusulan kenaikan anggaran pengadaan obat, mencari akar masalah ketidaksesuaian item sediaan farmasi antara perencanaan dan pengadaan, memperpendek proses administrasi pencairan dana, memperbaiki regulasi dalam sistem internal perencanaan dan pengadaan, perbaikan stok sediaan farmasi, pelatihan mengenai Inventory Control Management serta meninjau kembali rekanan pengadaan yang memenuhi aspek mutu produk terjamin, legal dan harga murah.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that struck the world caused a multisectoral crisis, weakened economic growth, and limited people's ability to carry out daily activities. Weakening growth led to a decline in per capita income, which in turn exacerbated income inequality. Income inequality is reflected by the Gini ratio index. In Southeast Sulawesi, the Gini ratio index increased during the COVID-19 pandemic and was consistently higher than the Gini ratio indices for Sulawesi Island and the national average. Therefore, this study aims to examine how economic growth, poverty, unemployment, the Human Development Index (HDI), and infrastructure impact income inequality in post-COVID-19 Southeast Sulawesi. This study employs a quantitative method, using secondary data from 2023 for each district/city in Southeast Sulawesi, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The analysis was conducted using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method with Eviews 12 software. The results of the study indicate that, partially, the variable of economic growth has a negative and significant effect on income inequality in post-COVID-19 Southeast Sulawesi. The poverty variable has a negative but insignificant effect on income inequality. The unemployment variable has a positive but insignificant effect on income inequality. Meanwhile, the variables of the Human Development Index and infrastructure have positive and significant effects on income inequality. Simultaneously, economic growth, poverty, unemployment, the Human Development Index, and infrastructure collectively influence income inequality in post-COVID-19 Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

Keanekaragaman plankton sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor lingkungan, terutama parameter kualitas air seperti suhu, pH, kadar oksigen terlarut (DO). Salah satu dampak nyata dari pencemaran tersebut adalah eutrofikasi, yaitu peningkatan konsentrasi nutrien yang berlebih dalam perairan, yang dapat memicu ledakan populasi plankton tertentu dan menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan ekosistem. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman plankton di Danau Singkarak dengan pendekatan indeks biodiversitas.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Danau Singkarak, Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober s/d November 2024. Dari hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa Nilai indeks Shannon (H’) tertinggi terdapat di Titik C, menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman plankton paling tinggi. Nilai evenness (E) di Titik C juga tertinggi (0,887), mengindikasikan distribusi individu antar spesies yang paling merata sedangkan Dominasi (D) paling tinggi di Titik B. Parameter kualitas air berupa suhu, pH, dan oksigen terlarut. Titik A menunjukkan suhu tertinggi, lebih dari 25°C, sedangkan suhu pada Titik B dan Titik C, dengan pH, Titik A memiliki pH sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Titik B dan Titik C. Sedangkan oksigen terlarut, Titik C, yang berada di pinggir sungai, menunjukkan kadar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dua titik lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the values of inclusivism contained by the cultural da'wah model of Sheikh Burhanuddin Ulakan Pariaman as an alternative to caring for national pluralism. The focus of this study is to question what an inclusive da'wah model looks like and how it is implemented, as well as the impact of inclusive da'wah on community culture as a solution alternative in caring for the plurality of nations that live, grow and develop from various ethnicities, religions and beliefs can coexist within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This study examines what values are categorised as inclusivism and how to preserve them in the face of national pluralism. This study uses a literacy review study of various sources concerning the theory of inclusivism in cultural da'wah relations. The findings of this study show that the values carried in Sheikh Burhanuddin's da'wah that are similar to the concept of inclusive da'wah include respecting cultural diversity, making culture an approach and integrating culture with religion, being tolerant and not imposing one's will, and facilitating other people's affairs. The impact of this da'wah is that the Minangkabau people get a basic reference in life which is integrated in the philosophy of adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah, syara' mangato adat memakai. This study can be used as an alternative to glue and maintain the integrity of national life in the plurality of nations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of natural attractions in Bener Meriah district, Aceh province. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. In this study, based on his analysis, the author of the descriptive method by combining it with qualitative methods. The results of this study state that the development of natural attractions by the Tourism Office in BenerMeriah Regency is considered to be quite good because development has been carried out by improving access and also attractions in natural attractions, but it has not been carried out optimally, because based on reality it is still not effective in the development carried out, it is also proven that the number of tourist visits and regional original opinions is still low in 2019-2021. Strategies carried out by the tourism office include prioritizing the development of natural attractions by utilizing potential and increasing the development of infrastructure, facilities, infrastructure according to the needs of visiting tourists. And optimizing cooperation with stakeholders in the development of natural attractions in Bener Meriah Regency and increasing attractiveness and being more active in promoting natural attractions in BenerMeriah Regency, Aceh Province.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges students face in academic writing and identifies effective techniques that can help overcome these problems. The research background shows that academic writing skills are essential for students and researchers, but many face difficulties in organising ideas, following writing guidelines, and structuring arguments logically. Using a qualitative approach, this study applied systematic literature review (SLR) to collect data from in-depth interviews and observations of students and researchers. The results showed that good planning, clear language use, and peer feedback significantly improved the quality of writing. In addition, techniques such as mind mapping and the use of writing aids were also shown to support a more systematic writing process. This study fills a gap in the literature by highlighting the lack of integration of various academic writing techniques and the influence of external factors such as social support and stress levels on the effectiveness of these techniques. The findings are expected to provide guidance for academic writers in selecting techniques appropriate to the challenges faced and provide insights for educators in supporting the development of students' writing skills.

Abstract

The community service program through the Rang Mudo Farmers Group in Nagari Paninjauan aims to improve farmers' economic well-being through community-based empowerment. The method employed is a participatory approach involving the government, private institutions, and the local community in various stages, including needs assessment, training, and program implementation. This service focuses on enhancing farmers' technical capacities, strengthening social networks, and expanding market access. The results indicate that farmers have increased productivity and income through the adoption of modern agricultural technologies, the use of subsidized fertilizers, and marketing collaboration. The program also successfully built solidarity among group members, created new job opportunities, and improved the competitiveness of agricultural products in regional markets. In conclusion, this community service not only boosted farmers' economic well-being but also strengthened social capital that supports the sustainability of farming communities in Nagari Paninjauan.

Abstract

The learning paradigm has shifted from teacher-centered to student-centered to ensure that each individual receives a learning experience tailored to their needs and potential. Student-centered learning emphasizes differentiated instruction, learning style adaptation, and a conducive environment. This study aims to explore the implementation of student-centered learning, the challenges faced by teachers, and strategies to optimize learning outcomes. Using a qualitative research method involving observation, interviews, and literature studies, this research was conducted at SMAS Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar with 11th-grade Merdeka 5 students as the subjects. The findings indicate that student-centered learning can be implemented through differentiated instruction, project-based learning, and the use of technology. However, challenges such as time management, teacher readiness, and limited resources remain. Therefore, effective strategies are needed to address these challenges and enhance the quality of student-centered learning.
