Abstract

The re-emergence of diphtheria has become noticeable in Nigeria particularly in Kano state. This study assessed the knowledge level and perception of diphtheria vaccine messages on radio among residents of Ungogo Local Government Area, Kano State. To achieve this, the study employs survey method to quantify the knowledge and perception of the population of study.400 questionnaires are administered and nothing less than 390 are retrieved in both Rijyar Zaki and Tudun Fulani communities. The findings revealed that the residents had knowledge of diphtheria vaccine and radio remains the most important medium for disseminating diphtheria vaccine messages in Ungogo Local Government Area, Kano State. However, about 58.9 percent agreed that diphtheria vaccine is only necessary for children. 66.6 percent agreed that diphtheria vaccine message increased their confidence on the safety and efficacy of the vaccine. Frequency distribution tables are used to present and anlayse data generated from the field. The results of the study showed that the residents perceived diphtheria vaccine messages positively but 33.3 percent did not discuss about diphtheria with their friends, families and community members.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a vital need to support daily life in various sectors such as industry, housing and government. In Indonesia, the majority of electrical energy is still produced from fossil fuel plants, which have significant environmental impacts and limited resources. Therefore, the development of renewable energy is crucial to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. One promising alternative is the Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH), which uses flowing water to produce electrical energy. This research focuses on the implementation of MHP in Babakan Banten Village, Bogor Regency, an area with the potential for abundant water flow throughout the year. This project aims to provide a reliable electricity supply for communities, most of whom do not yet have access to electricity from the national grid. This study includes the process of planning, assembling and testing the MHP system using field data such as river water discharge, land elevation (head) and other technical specifications. The measurement results show that the PLTMH with a generator capacity of 2 kW is able to meet the electricity needs of 18 houses in Babakan Village, Banten. System testing shows good operational stability with optimal turbine rotation at full load and results in accordance with planning. It is hoped that the implementation of this PLTMH will not only increase accessibility to sustainable electrical energy, but will also have a positive impact on the welfare of local communities. Utilization of locally available natural resources not only reduces dependence on conventional energy, but also becomes a real example of the application of technology for sustainable development in remote areas of Indonesia.

Abstract

The demand for sweet corn continues to increase in line with the rapid development of the food industry. Therefore, every company must be able to develop a strategic business plan to achieve the company's goals, whether short-term, medium-term, or long-term. One Day Promotion is one of the promotional activities with a gift given for every purchase of MADU-59 F1 sweet corn seeds, which is held at the Agricultural Store. This activity aims to know, implement, and identify the effectiveness of One Day Promotion (ODP) to increase sales. This activity was conducted in Karangploso, Malang, East Java, using two methods: collecting primary data through interviews, observations, recordings, and documentation, as well as collecting secondary data through literature references such as journals, books, and the internet. The One Day Promotion activity was conducted at three agricultural stores in Karangploso, Malang, East Java. This activity is considered effective in increasing brand awareness and serving as an educational medium for farmers to know the advantages of MADU-59 F1 sweet corn seeds. Additionally, the One Day Promotion activity aims to help achieve the company's goal of increasing product sales volume. With the One Day Promotion strategy, it will attract consumer interest and provide satisfaction to consumers, thus accelerating and expanding the market for MADU-59 F1 sweet corn seeds.

Abstract

Critical Control Point (CCP) a point, stage, or procedures where the danger that related with food can be prevented, eliminated or reduced to the point that can be accepted (allowed or secure point). The purpose of this research is to know the level of the determination of Critical Control Point (CCP) on the process of fish canning sardinella,SP and know the critical control point on the process of fish canning sardinella,SP. This study uses qualitative data obtained from interviews, surveys, observations and documentation using data reduction analysis, data presentation, verification and decisionmaking trees. The results of this study show that the Application of Critical Control Point (CCP) in the Lemuru Fish Canning Process (Sardinella Lemuru) at PT Sarana Tani Pratama has been effective even though there are several elements that need more attention so that its application can be in accordance with the guidelines for good food production methods. Critical control points (CCP) in the process of canning lemuru fish (Sardinella, sp), are as follows: 1) Acceptance of raw materials (frozen & fresh), 2) Closure of cans (seammer), 3) Sterelization / Retort.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and the implementation of e-performance systems on employee performance at the Provincial Education Office of South Sumatra. Employee performance is a crucial element in achieving organizational goals, while leadership style and e-performance systems are considered key factors influencing success. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees, with samples determined randomly. The results indicate that leadership style has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. Leaders who can motivate and involve subordinates in decision-making tend to enhance employee productivity. The implementation of e-performance systems also has a positive impact on performance, especially through transparency and efficiency in performance evaluation. Simultaneous analysis shows that leadership style and e-performance systems together contribute significantly to improving employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 67%. However, the study also identifies challenges such as a lack of technological understanding among employees and inadequate infrastructure. Therefore, it is recommended to enhance technical training and ensure the availability of supporting facilities to optimize the implementation of e-performance systems. This research provides practical implications for the leadership of the Education Office in improving managerial strategies and human resource management.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically prove the influence of activity ratios, profitability, liquidity and solvency on company value. Partially and simultaneously. The population in this study is industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling method. The sample in this research was 40 companies over 4 years totaling 160 data, after outlier data the total sample in this research amounted to 140 data. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests, including: (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test), multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing (t test, f & R2 test) using SPSS version 26 software. The results of this research partially show that the activity ratio has no effect on company value. Meanwhile, profitability and solvency ratios influence company value. Simultaneously the activity ratio, profitability, liquidity and solvency influence the company value of industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period.

Abstract

To produce transparent and accountable mosque financial governance, capability is needed to prepare mosque financial reports. Currently, the best guide for preparing financial reports is ISAK 35 which is an IAI product. Many mosque takmirs, especially in Ternate, still face the issue of mosque financial management due to the lack of understanding regarding accountable and transparent financial reporting. On this basis, the PKM team took this issue as the main problem which will be resolved by carrying out capacity building assistance for mosque takmirs in financial management. From the training carried out, it was found that there was an increase in capability in preparing mosque financial reports for mosque takmirs who took part in training activities carried out by the PKM team. In this way, it is hoped that the mosque takmir can provide accountable and transparent accountability for the community funds he manages. The main implication is the increasing trust of organizations and individual people in entrusting funds to mosques in Ternate.

Abstract

Public Relations plays a critical role in shaping the reputation and operational success of healthcare organizations. Effective PR strategies ensure clear communication, foster trust, and enhance patient satisfaction. This paper assesses the role of public relations in effective healthcare service delivery, exploring its impact on patient engagement, crisis management, and institutional credibility. Healthcare institutions operate in a dynamic environment where patient trust, regulatory compliance, and public perception significantly influence their success. PR serves as a bridge between healthcare providers and the public, ensuring transparency, managing reputations, and facilitating effective communication. This study examines the role of PR in healthcare and evaluates its effectiveness in service delivery. Public Relations in healthcare plays a crucial role in patient communication and engagement by establishing clear and transparent communication with patients. It ensures that healthcare information is accurately disseminated to the public and supports patient education campaigns that improve health literacy and encourage preventive care. Additionally, PR is essential in crisis management as it helps healthcare organizations handle emergencies such as disease outbreaks, medical errors, and negative press. Effective crisis communication mitigates panic and ensures that accurate information reaches the public. The paper concludes that public relations is a fundamental tool for enhancing healthcare service delivery. By fostering trust, managing crises effectively, and ensuring clear communication, PR contributes to better patient outcomes and institutional credibility. Healthcare organizations must invest in robust PR strategies to navigate the evolving landscape of public health communication and strengthen their relationships with the communities they serve.

Abstract

Nyeri dada atau rasa tidak nyaman di dada (angina) merupakan gejala utama dan yang paling banyak dikeluhkan pasien sindroma koroner akut (SKA) yang berobat ke rumah sakit. Angina merupakan rasa tidak nyaman di dada (chest discomfort) yang disebabkan oleh menurunnya aliran darah koroner menuju otot jantung. Nyeri ini bersifat progresif dan dapat menyebabkan kematian, sehingga jenis nyeri dada ini memerlukan penanganan yang serius dan pemeriksaan lanjutan. Beberapa referensi menyebutkan adanya perbedaan pola nyeri pasien SKA dan nyeri dada kardiak lainnya. Hasil observasi kami juga menemukan bahwa nyeri dada ini sering diabaikan pasien karena dianggap sebagai masuk angin, sehingga akan berakibat terjadinya kematian. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar perlunya suatu penelitian untuk dapat menemukan perbedaan karakteristik nyeri dada akibat SKA dengan nyeri dada lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini ini sangat diperlukan untuk mendapatkan penanganan yang tepat agar dapat menjaga keselamatan pasien dan juga mencegah meningkatnya angka kematian akibat penyakit tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis pola nyeri dada pada pasien sindroma koroner akut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pasien yang terbanyak adalah berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Usia pasien penderita sindroma koroner akut yang tertua adalah pada usia 76 tahun. Jenis pekerjaan pasien sindroma koroner akut yang terbanyak adalah Swasta. Tingkat pendidikan pasien sindroma koroner akut yang terbanyak adalah lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Rata-rata onset yang dialami pasien sindroma koroner akut adalah 6,11 jam. Rata-rata skala nyeri yang dialami pasien Sindroma Koroner Akut yang dirawat di RSUDZA Banda Aceh adalah 6,2. Kategori angina yang paling banyak diderita pasien adalah Angina de novo, sedangkan kategori angina yang paling rendah adalah jenis Angina pasca infark.

Abstract

Di Indonesia penyakit jantung koroner (PJK) merupakan penyebab nomor satu dari seluruh kematian. Provinsi Aceh memiliki prevalensi penyakit jantung di atas rata-rata nasional yaitu 16.6% dibanding 9.2%. Penelitian mengenai profil pasien sindroma koroner akut (SKA) yang merupakan bagian dari PJK belum pernah dilakukan di Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendeskripsikan profil pasien SKA di Provinsi Aceh sehingga data ini dapat dijadikan indikator pentingnya penanganan SKA serta dijadikan evaluasi kinerja program edukasi masyarakat mengenai penyakit kardiovaskular di Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel penelitian seluruh pasien SKA pada Januari 2017 hingga Desember 2018. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah total sampling yang diperoleh dari rekam medis. Analisis dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS for Windows versi 14. Disimpulkan bahwa pasien yang terbanyak berjenis kelamin laki-laki yaitu 206 pasien (69%), usia terbanyak yaitu 45─60 tahun dengan 138 kasus (50%), jenis SKA paling dominan adalah UAP/NSTEMI sebanyak 121 kasus dengan Banda Aceh sebagai domisili terbanyak. Karakteristik nyeri dada tipikal paling dominan ditemukan 81.4 % dengan onset >24 jam dan terjadi di malam hari. Merokok merupakan faktor risiko dominan serta keluhan nyeri dada adalah yang terbanyak ditemukan.
