Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tegangan dan arus listrik dalam persamaan Hukum Ohm serta membandingkan karakteristik rangkaian seri dan paralel. Metode eksperimen digunakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan multimeter digital pada resistor dengan nilai tertentu. Setiap pengukuran dilakukan dalam tiga kali pengulangan untuk memastikan konsistensi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arus listrik berbanding lurus dengan tegangan yang diterapkan dan berbanding terbalik dengan hambatan, sesuai dengan Hukum Ohm. Pada rangkaian seri, arus yang mengalir tetap konstan, sedangkan tegangan terbagi pada setiap resistor. Sebaliknya, pada rangkaian paralel, tegangan tetap konstan, sementara arus terbagi sesuai dengan nilai resistansi masing-masing cabang. Perbedaan resistansi total antara kedua rangkaian juga terkonfirmasi, di mana resistansi total rangkaian paralel lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan rangkaian seri. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan pemahaman konsep kelistrikan dasar serta penerapannya dalam desain sistem kelistrikan yang efisien untuk keperluan industri dan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kuat arus, tegangan listrik, dan hambatan dalam penerapan Hukum Ohm pada rangkaian seri dan paralel. Eksperimen dilakukan menggunakan resistor dengan nilai tertentu yang disusun dalam kedua jenis rangkaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam rangkaian seri, arus listrik tetap konstan sementara tegangan terbagi sesuai dengan nilai resistansi masing-masing komponen. Sebaliknya, pada rangkaian paralel, tegangan tetap konstan pada setiap cabang, sedangkan arus terbagi sesuai dengan nilai resistansi cabang tersebut. Perbedaan nilai resistansi total antara rangkaian seri dan paralel juga dikonfirmasi, dengan rangkaian paralel memiliki nilai resistansi total yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan rangkaian seri. Temuan ini mendukung validitas Hukum Ohm serta memberikan wawasan tentang distribusi arus dan tegangan dalam berbagai konfigurasi rangkaian listrik, yang berguna dalam aplikasi kelistrikan dan pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

The drying process of crops is a crucial stage in production that affects quality and efficiency. One of the principles of physics that plays an important role in this process is the concept of heat, which allows the transfer of heat from heat sources to crops to evaporate their moisture content. This study aims to analyze the physics concepts in the process of drying crops using Rotary Dryer and Bed Dryer technology. The research is conducted through literature studies using relevant scientific articles and sources. The results show that both technologies involve the mechanism of heat transfer by conduction and convection, as well as the interaction of centrifugal and centripetal forces in the drying process. The conclusion of this study confirms that understanding the concept of physics allows the optimization of energy use, thereby improving the efficiency of the drying process and the quality of crop yields. This finding is expected to be a reference in Physics learning, especially in understanding the application of physics concepts in the crop processing industry.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the magnetic field around an AC blower by measuring the magnetic field intensity, temperature, and humidity at distances ranging from 1 to 10 meters from the source. Each measurement point was repeated 10 times using a magnetic field meter, barometer, and altimeter to obtain accurate and comparable data. The measurement results indicate that magnetic field intensity decreases significantly as the distance from the AC blower increases, while temperature and humidity remain relatively constant throughout the measurement range. The data obtained was then analyzed to examine the relationship between the magnetic field and the surrounding environmental conditions. This study provides important insights into the characteristics of the magnetic field and environmental parameters around the AC blower, which can serve as a reference for environmental physics management as well as health and safety aspects.

Abstract

The current Generation Z often exhibits advanced technological skills but struggles with social-emotional aspects like individualism, low motivation, and lack of empathy. This study investigated how problem-based learning (PBL) via outbound activities could foster emotional intelligence in elementary students. A pretest-posttest control group experimental design was employed, involving 30 fourth-grade students from SD Negeri Tempurejo 01, Lumajang Regency. Fifteen students in Class A served as the experimental group, receiving PBL through outbound, while Class B, also with fifteen students, was the control group, taught by conventional lecture and discussion. Emotional intelligence was measured using pre- and post-tests across indicators: Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Motivation, Empathy, and Social Skills. One-Way ANOVA analyzed the data. Results showed a significant increase (p < 0.05) in emotional intelligence and its indicators in both groups. Crucially, the experimental group's average post-test score was significantly higher (p < 0.05) than the control groups. Motivation saw the highest increase, while Self-Regulation showed the lowest. This suggests that PBL through outbound significantly enhances elementary students' emotional intelligence development. Further strategy refinement is recommended to optimize growth across all indicators, particularly Self-Regulation

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of cotton buds as a painting medium to enhance early childhood creativity at PAUD MTA Pontianak. The research used a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were group B children aged 5–6 years and their classroom teacher. The results showed that using cotton buds with pointillism techniques provided children with broad opportunities to explore, express imagination, and develop fine motor skills. Teachers played a crucial role in planning, demonstrating, and actively guiding the process. Despite challenges such as limited motor coordination, teachers’ artistic skills, and media quality, solutions were addressed through individual approaches, basic training, and method innovation. The painting activity proved effective in fostering creativity, independence, and self-expression among early childhood learners in an enjoyable and meaningful learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The Lapindo mudflow became one of the disasters that occurred in Sidoarjo Regency. As a result, it is difficult for villages around the Lapindo mud area to get clean water. This study aims to determine the adaptation of the community in meeting the needs and availability of clean water, to find out the decisions made by the government regarding the availability of clean water in the affected areas. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with interviews and interviews with people in areas affected by the Lapindo mud, especially Gempolsari village residents to find out what the community has done and the decisions that have been made by the government since the Lapindo mudflow. The results of this study indicate that there have been responsive and anticipatory adaptation efforts carried out by Gempolsari village residents but the government has not been able to maximize assistance to affected victims. Efforts are being made to buy clean water, look for sources of clean water and try to get clean water assistance from the government. However, adaptation to the use of appropriate technology to manage water has not been implemented in Gempolsari village. Keywords: Lumpur Lapindo, Clean water, Adaptation of community

Abstract

Rice and corn milling represent essential processes in enhancing the economic value of agricultural products through the application of physics-based design principles. This study investigates the integration of key physical concepts—such as mechanical forces, torque transmission, material wear, kinetic energy, and energy efficiency—in milling technologies. Comparative analysis of rice milling machines (hammer mill, disc mill, herb grinder) revealed significant variations in flour characteristics, including bulk density, whiteness, elasticity modulus, and water absorption​ In corn milling, the adoption of Pahl and Beitz's systematic design approach produced machines with optimized structural performance for flour and feed production​. The incorporation of magnetic traps within rice mill hoppers further enhanced output quality by mitigating contamination-induced damage​. These findings underscore the critical role of physics-informed engineering in advancing milling performance, ensuring consistent product quality, and prolonging machine operational life.

Abstract

Kelapa (Cocos nucifera L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak memiliki manfaat dan biasanya tumbuh di daerah tropis. Bagian buah kelapa diolah menjadi kopra sebagai bahan baku minyak kelapa. Seluruh proses pengolahan kopra sebagai minyak goreng, mulai dari pengeringan hingga penggilingan, tidak lepas dari penerapan konsep-konsep fisika seperti perpindahan panas, energi mekanik, gaya tekan, hingga konversi energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep fisika yang diterapkan dalam teknologi penggilingan kopra. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur berdasarkan data sekunder dari 20 jurnal serta artikel, baik itu internasional atau nasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa mesin pemarut kopra memanfaatkan prinsip gaya gesek, torsi, gaya sentrifugal, dan rotasi mekanik untuk menghasilkan parutan kopra yang halus dan efisien. Selain itu, pengeringan berbasis energi matahari dan sistem otomatis berbasis Arduino dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada cuaca. Penerapan teknologi berbasis fisika ini tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas, tetapi juga mendorong pengembangan alat yang hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan. Teknologi penggilingan kopra yang akan mengalami proses produksi menjadi minyak goreng secara nyata menerapkan konsep – konsep fisika berdampak pada kualitas hasil, efisiensi waktu produksi, serta keberlanjutan produksi. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar inovasi teknologi penggilingan untuk memaksimalkan waktu produksi serta peningkatan kualitas produk dalam industri minyak kelapa, khususnya di sektor UMKM.

Abstract

Pengeringan merupakan salah satu tahap paling krusial dalam proses pascapanen hasil perkebunan, terutama pada komoditas utama seperti kopi dan kakao. Kualitas akhir, ketahanan simpan, serta nilai jual dari biji kopi dan kakao sangat dipengaruhi oleh proses pengeringan yang tepat dan efisien. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penggunaan teknologi pengering modern seperti heat pump dryer dan solar tunnel dryer semakin berkembang untuk menggantikan metode pengeringan konvensional yang tidak efisien dan bergantung pada kondisi cuaca. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai konsep fisika yang berperan penting dalam kedua sistem pengering tersebut. Fokus pembahasan meliputi prinsip dasar termodinamika, perpindahan kalor (konduksi, konveksi, radiasi), mekanika fluida, serta sifat termal material hasil perkebunan. Dengan memahami prinsip-prinsip fisika yang mendasari teknologi pengering ini, diharapkan proses pengolahan hasil perkebunan dapat berjalan lebih optimal, hemat energi, dan tetap menjaga mutu produk. Artikel ini menjadi dasar teoritis yang penting untuk mendukung pemanfaatan teknologi pascapanen yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan.
