Abstract

The majority of students have very low levels of spatial thinking ability. Spatial ability is essential for students to better understand geometry topics, particularly polyhedra (solid figures with flat faces). This condition is further exacerbated by the use of conventional mathematics teaching methods, which primarily focus on lectures, textbooks, and drill exercises. As a result, classroom learning often leads students to feel bored and less enthusiastic. To address this issue, the researcher implemented a game-based outdoor learning approach. Therefore, this study aims to examine the improvement in the mathematical spatial ability of ninth-grade students after the implementation of game-based outdoor learning. The research subjects were students of class IX B at one junior high school in Jambi City. This study employed a quantitative descriptive pre-experimental method, using a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design, in which only one experimental class was given the treatment. To determine the level of improvement in students’ mathematical spatial ability, N-gain analysis was used. The N-gain value was calculated by comparing the difference between pretest and posttest scores, and the results were interpreted into high, moderate, or low improvement categories. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, the research data showed that the minimum student score was 20, the maximum score was 86.6, and the mean score of students’ mathematical spatial ability was 56.6357, with a standard deviation of 17.44458. Out of 28 students, 3 students showed a high improvement in spatial ability, 20 students showed moderate improvement, and 5 students showed low improvement. The implementation of game-based outdoor learning was found to enhance students’ spatial ability, particularly in the geometry of polyhedra, by integrating physical and collaborative activities to achieve enjoyable learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk for the 2020-2024 period uses financial ratio analysis which includes profitability ratio, liquidity ratio, solvency ratio, and market value ratio. The research data is obtained from the company's annual financial statements published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis by calculating Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Cash Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Asset, Return on Equity, Net Profit Margin, Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio, and Price to Book Value in the financial performance report of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2020 to 2024. The results of the ratio calculation from the financial statements will be interpreted to describe the company's profitability, liquidity, solvency, and market value. The results of the study show that the profitability ratio has decreased drastically with ROA decreasing from 10% (2020) to 1% (2024), ROE from 13% to 2%, and NPM from 6.6% to 0.9%, this states that the Company is in poor financial condition, with the risk of long-term financial difficulties if not addressed immediately. The Company's liquidity ratio fluctuates with the Current Ratio ranging from 183.2%-291.2%, which states that the Company has much larger current assets than current liabilities, specifically indicating very strong liquidity. The solvency ratio shows an improving capital structure in 2024 with a decrease in DAR to 27.1% and DER to 37.1%. The market value ratio shows a negative trend with EPS falling from 397.4% to 50.9%, PER increasing to 26.0%, and PBV decreasing to 0.4%, Where the company's financial health declined sharply, but its valuation in the stock market became expensive relative to its profits. This study concludes that PT. Gudang Garam Tbk faces serious challenges in maintaining profitability which may be caused by strict regulations in the tobacco industry, increasing cigarette excise, and changes in consumer behavior

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak kenaikan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) sebesar 12% terhadap indikator-indikator makroekonomi serta mengevaluasi efektivitas instrumen syariah sebagai alat mitigasi. Temuan menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada konsumsi rumah tangga (-1,6%) dan investasi (-2,7%) akibat tekanan ekonomi yang meningkat. Data dari kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden merasakan penurunan daya beli yang cukup parah. Namun, penerapan instrumen syariah, termasuk zakat dan wakaf produktif, menunjukkan potensi dalam menstabilkan perekonomian. Hasil simulasi memperlihatkan peningkatan konsumsi rumah tangga sebesar 0,8%, investasi sebesar 0,9%, dan belanja pemerintah sebesar 1%, yang mencerminkan kemampuan instrumen syariah dalam meredam dampak kebijakan fiskal. Studi ini memperkenalkan integrasi inovatif antara kebijakan fiskal dan solusi berbasis syariah, yang menawarkan strategi ekonomi yang berkeadilan sosial dan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi menekankan pentingnya dukungan regulasi untuk mengoptimalkan peran zakat dan wakaf dalam memperkuat pemulihan ekonomi.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that play an important role in character building and improving the quality of human resources. Muhammadiyah Curup Islamic Boarding School, as one of the modern Islamic boarding schools, faces challenges in managing the elements of the boarding school to remain relevant and of high quality. This study aims to describe strategies for optimizing pesantren elements, including leadership, curriculum, boarding school system, character building of santri (students), and utilization of the mosque. This study uses a qualitative approach with methods of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the integration of organizational values, curriculum renewal, and an accountability-based managerial system can improve the quality of student education. A value-based coaching approach and communicative relationships between educators and students also contribute to the program's success. The conclusion of this study shows that the systematic optimization of pesantren elements can improve the quality of education and support the transformation of modern pesantren with character.

Abstract

This research discusses the concept of nobility of reason according to Imam Al Ghazali with the main discussion being the profile of Imam Al Ghazali and what the concept of nobility of reason is according to Imam al Ghazali. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods and character study research. The research results show that Al-Ghaz?l?, whose full name is Abu ?amid Ibn Mu?ammad Ibn Mu?ammad Ibn A?mad al-Ghaz?l?, is a leading figure in the world of philosophy and Sufism. He has extraordinary influence and thoughts. From his intelligence in studying scientific disciplines; fiqh, kalam science, philosophy, logic, Sufism and dialectics earned him the nickname ?ujjatul Islam. Al-Ghazali divides the levels of reason into four, namely the first is the hayulani reason (material reason), this reason is useful for understanding and knowing about the fundamental material realities that exist, so to obtain the truth of this hayulani reason must go through the senses, because matter is the first reason to know more about the nature of something. Second is the instinctive reason, this reason works and functions after humans know a number of existing basic sciences. This reason seeks to know the essence behind existing realities. Efforts to find truth beyond material reality are the result of the work of the instinctive reason. Through the instinctive reason, human knowledge will advance beyond its basic knowledge and provide confidence in the truth it has obtained. Third is the active reason (actual reason), this reason functions to obtain knowledge whose truth is undoubted. This reason can know some theoretical knowledge, so that it is able to re-display known rational forms. Fourth is the mustafad reason, this reason according to al-Ghazali functions further than the previous reasons. In fact, according to al-Ghazali, this mustafad intellect is considered a high-level intellect. Al-Ghazali explained that through this intellect, humans are able to know and comprehend something and are also able to connect with the tenth intellect (the fedal intellect). The potential power of this mustafad intellect is quite substantial. In fact, it resembles the principles of mere existence.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize inventory policy in a toy retail store facing seasonal demand uncertainty using Monte Carlo simulation. Fluctuating demand often leads to overstock and stockout risks, increasing holding costs and potential lost sales. Historical daily demand data were used to construct a probabilistic model, followed by 10,000 simulation iterations to generate the probability distribution of total inventory costs. The cost model consists of holding costs and shortage costs. The simulation results indicate that total cost follows a probabilistic distribution and that an optimal reorder point exists to minimize the expected total cost. Sensitivity analysis confirms the trade-off between holding and shortage costs. The findings demonstrate that Monte Carlo simulation effectively supports adaptive, risk-based, and efficient inventory decision-making for small-scale retail businesses.

Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang konsep kepribadian guru sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam Kitab Ihya Ulumuddin karya Imam al-Ghazali, serta menganalisis relevansinya dengan standar kompetensi guru dalam sistem pendidikan kontemporer. Posisi strategis guru dalam dunia pendidikan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuannya dalam mentransfer ilmu, tetapi juga oleh kualitas kepribadian dan integritas moral mereka sebagai contoh bagi siswa. Dalam konteks ini, pemikiran klasik al-Ghazali menawarkan perspektif etis dan spiritual yang mendalam tentang guru yang ideal. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana relevansi nilai-nilai kepribadian guru yang diprakarsai oleh al-Ghazali dengan kompetensi profesional guru saat ini, khususnya di ranah kepribadian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis, dan jenis penelitian perpustakaan. Sumber utama penelitian ini adalah buku Ihya Ulumuddin, serta literatur pendukung yang relevan di bidang pendidikan dan studi Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa al-Ghazali menekankan pentingnya dimensi spiritual, etika, dan moral dalam membentuk kepribadian guru. Nilai-nilai seperti keikhlasan, contoh, kepercayaan, tawadhu', dan komitmen terhadap tugas keilmuan dan pendidikan merupakan landasan utama yang sejalan dengan kompetensi kepribadian dalam standar pendidikan Islam modern. Konsep ini tidak hanya relevan, tetapi juga sangat signifikan dalam membangun karakter pendidik yang utuh dan transformatif di tengah tantangan zaman.

Abstract

Legume plants play an important role in agricultural systems. Nitrogen is an essential nutrient required by plants for both vegetative and generative growth. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria commonly used in agriculture belong to the genus Rhizobium spp. Rhizobium is a Gram-negative bacterium that inhabits the rhizosphere region of plants. Agronomically, this bacterium has the ability to form symbiotic relationships with leguminous plants, which play a significant role in maintaining soil fertility. Peanut, soybean, yardlong bean, and mung bean were the legume crops used in this study. Isolation of Rhizobium bacteria was carried out using the serial dilution method from 10?¹ to 10??. The isolates obtained were subjected to hemolysis testing and morphological characterization on YEMA (Yeast Extract Mannitol Agar) medium. Blood agar medium was used for the hemolysis test. The highest population of Rhizobium bacteria was found in mung bean and yardlong bean rhizosphere soils, each with 3.0 × 10? CFU/g. Most Rhizobium isolates exhibited milky white, translucent white, and pink colony colors. A total of 16 isolates were obtained from soybean, 16 from yardlong bean, 7 from peanut, and 8 from mung bean. Morphologically, Rhizobium colonies were generally circular, flat, and exhibited whitish-pink to translucent coloration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain produk berupa game edukasi “Geo AR-Venture” berbantuan augmented reality pada outdoor learning materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung serta menguji kevalidan dan kepraktisan media. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengimplementasikan model ADDIE yang terbatas, dimulai dari tahap analisis (analysis), dilanjutkan dengan tahap desain (design), hingga tahap terakhir, yaitu tahap pengembangan (development). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IX dan 9 orang peserta didik kelas IX di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Jambi. Dalam menilai kevalidan produk, diperoleh persentase sebesar 91,67% oleh ahli materi dan 94,44% oleh ahli media yang menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi ini sangat valid berdasarkan kriteria penilaian kevalidan produk. Dalam menilai kepraktisan produk, diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,79% oleh guru dan 87,66% oleh peserta didik yang menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi ini sangat layak berdasarkan kriteria penilaian kepraktisan produk. Dari hasil data yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa game ini valid dan praktis untuk digunakan pada outdoor learning serta memiliki potensi besar sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan berdampak positif pada minat belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Social empowerment in urban areas such as Jakarta requires local actors who can directly reach communities, especially vulnerable groups. Community Social Workers (PSM) act as strategic partners who connect government programs with real community needs. This Practicum 1 community service activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of PSM through field practice involving students at Dinas Sosial Provinsi DKI Jakarta, particularly in the Social Empowerment Division (Dayasos). The main partners were PSM located in Central Jakarta and South Jakarta. The methods used included community education, training, mentoring, mediation, and direct observation of two main programs: Elderly Meal Support (Pokmas) and Joint Business Groups (KUBE). The results show that systematic empowerment improves PSM’s ability to identify community needs, deliver social services, and strengthen motivation and collaboration. It also increases community participation and faster responses to social issues, helping build sustainable social resilience.
