Abstract

Information of rainfall is required in agricalture to determine kind of plant wich is suitable planted in certain area. A rain gauge had used in BMKG Sicincin wastipping bucket raingauge model TB3-0.2 serial no.92-459. This rain gauge can not be used because its data loggeris damage.  Based on reality, researcher was interested to give solution by making wireless communication XBee in this rain gauge for sending data to PC. The goal of this research is to explain performance and design specification of system. Kind of this research is engineering research. Measurement technique and collecting data was executed by directly and indirectly measurement. Directly measurement was used to measure output of sensor and time of count. Indirectly measurement was used to determine accuration and precision of rain gauge. The data was analysed by using descriptive statistic and graph method. Mechanic part of system consist of tube, funnel and tipping bucket , while electronic part of system consist of sensor circuit, microcontroler circuit, RTC circuit, transmitter circuit and receiver sircuit. Precision of rain gauge in laboratory testing is 0.86, its average of accuration is 0.93 andrelative precision data transmition is 1. Accuration ofrain gauge in field testingis 0.92

Abstract

Remote sensing technology is important to determine the geography information. Based on the sensor used, remote sensing can be divided into two types namely optical and radar. Radar-based remote sensing is more suitable for use in parts of Indonesia when compared to using an optical sensing, because of Indonesia has a large enough cloud cover. One type of radar sensor is a sensor Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). SAR sensors are generally operated in the linear polarization. When propagating in the ionosphere, micro wave with linear polarization will be disturbed by the effects of Faraday rotation. The impact of the effects of Faraday rotation can be reduced by emitting microwaves in circular polarization -CP. The signal quality of the CP can be described by a parameter called axial ratio. This study simulates antenna design to determine the effect of the dimensions of the antenna on the antenna characteristics. The simulation was performed by varying the length of the patch, the width of feeding and truncated junction on the patch antenna. Antenna dimension is obtained will be used as a reference in determining the dimensions of the antenna for the CP-SAR. The device used in this simulation is IE3D with the type of substrate pillar packing (NPC-H220A) with 2,17 dielectric constant of 3,2 mm thickness and loss δ = 0.0005. From the simulations, it can bestated two of research result. First, that the correlation between the length of the patch and the operating frequency of the antenna is comparable as well as the width of feeding and the input impedance. Second, the antenna dimensions are used to determine the model of the characteristics of the antenna for applications CP - SAR at 1,270 GHz operating frequency with a value of 50,54 Ω input impedance, VSWR of 1,053 and 1,1288 dB axial ratio

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi membuat banyak aspek berubah. Termasuk salah satunya guru  harus kreatif dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran online, salah satunya dalam penggunaan bahan ajar online. Bahan ajar online yang dapat mengurangi frekuensi tatap muka sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran penularan Covid-19. Banyak penelitian sudah dilakukan tentang penerapan bahan ajar online. Dalam penerapan bahan ajar online perlu diperhatikan efek penerapannya kepada siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa atau tidak. Artikel ini memuat metasynthesis bahan ajar online terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metasynthesis dilakukan dengan mereview 30 artikel terkait penerapan bahan ajar online terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dari 30 artikel yang direview menyatakan bahwa penerapan bahan ajar online mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengukur effect size sejumlah artikel penelitian eksperimen yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA di Indonesia serta pada sejumlah artikel yang mengkombinasikan pendekatan saintifik dengan model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran. Summary effect yang diperoleh sebesar 0,994 yang dikategorikan tinggi sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA signifikan dan efektif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pendekatan saintifik dapat diterapkan pada semua jenjang sekolah dari Taman kanak-kanak sampai Perguruan Tinggi. Implementasi pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa baik dari segi kognitif, kreativitas, pemecahan masalah. Pendekatan saintifik merupakan salahsatu strategi dalam pembelajaran IPA yang bertujuan untuk membantu siswa secara aktif mengonstruksi pengetahuan berdasarkan kegiatan ilmiah. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pendidik bahwa pendekatan saintifik sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa di semua tingkat dan merupakan wujud dari implementasi kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Science in the 21st century continues to develop. With these developments, Indonesia must prepare young people who are ready for change and able to face the challenges that exist in the 21st century. The 21st century has more complex challenges. Various efforts have been made by the government to meet the demands of the 21st century, including reforming educational standards. The 2013 curriculum requires students to be active in the learning process. Learning methods and models that are expected to be able to develop students' abilities, and in accordance with the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, are problem-based learning. Therefore, researchers are interested in finding the effect of PBL-based teaching on student learning outcomes through meta-analysis with effect size. Based on the analysis conducted on 20 journals related to PBL-based teaching materials, there are three conclusions in this study. First, PBL-based teaching materials are effectively used at the junior and senior high school levels with a high effect size category. Second, PBL-based teaching materials have the highest category of effectiveness in improving science process skills. Third, based on the teaching materials used, teaching materials in the form of electronic media (IT) based on PBL are effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Science learning should be able to develop the ability to think, to work, to use tools, and to live in the world for students. Integrated Science learning and integration of digital age literacy give good opportunities for students to develop fourth of these skills. But the reality shows that the implementa-tion of integrated science learning and integration of literacy in learning can’t be implemented well. An alternative solution of this problem is to develop integrated science learning by integrating digital age literacy. Before developing this integrated science materials it is necessary to conduct preliminary research as a basis for designing this learning materials. The purpose of this preliminary research is to describe the integration of knowledge basic competencies of science subjects, the implementation of integrated science learning, the learning materials available for science learning, and the integrating literacy of students. The type of research was descriptive research method. As object of the research consist of science teachers, syllabus and science learning materials, and students of grade VIII in ju-nior high school. Instruments to collect data consist of interview guide sheet, science syllabus and learning materials document, and digital age literacy test sheet. Research data was analyzed with de-scriptive statistic. Base on data analysis can be stated that results of this research are: 1). integrated science learning on grade VIII junior high school students can’t be implemented well, 2). the value of integration of science learning materials and its application in knowledge basic competence can be classified into enough category, 3). generally science learning materials in integrated science text-books and science worksheet on grade VIII junior high school are still separated form, and 4). the average value of digital age literacy of students is classified into low category.

Abstract

Experiment is important in physics to explain and describe a physical phenomenon and its characteristics. For this reason physics teachers should conduct the physics experiment activities to motivate students in learning and to improve scientific process skills, scientific attitudes, and student understanding in physics learning. However, in the experiment activities of physics were found many problems such as experiment equipment was insufficient, there is no equipment, equipment can’t operated well, and so on. An alternative solution to solve this problem was to do the video analysis and modeling tool tracker on physics teacher. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of the implementation the tracker video analysis and modeling tool on physics teachers. The research design was pretest and postest for one group sample. The sample of research was 26 physics teachers of Physics MGMP teacher in Agam district of West Sumatera. Instruments to collect the data consist of pretest and postest sheet, performance assessment sheet of video analysis product and questionnaires sheet of physics teachers. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test and paired comparison test for one group sample. From the data analysis, it can be stated that: 1). the average value of video analysis products from physics teachers is 85.10 and this value can be classified into very good category, 2). the average value of responses of physics teachers on training implementation of video analysis and tool modeling is 73.81 and this average value can be grouped into good category, and 3). the implementation of video analysis training of object motion video by using tracker software is effective to improve the understanding the physics MGMP teachers in Agam district on learning material of tracker video analysis and modeling tool, but the average value of understanding still in the low category.

Abstract

Literacy is required in the 4.0 industrial revolution and education in Indonesia. However, the real condition indicated that the integration of literacy in science learning of the science teachers was still limited. The solution of this problem is assisting the partner in writing science thematic learning material by integrating new literacy and disaster literacy. The objective of assisting is to improve competency of science teachers in writing thematic learning material. The target of the assisting activity was the teachers in science MGMP in Agam district. Methods in assisting include presentation and discussion, group work, independent task, and task presentation. Instruments to collect the data consist of knowledge test and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were descriptive statistical analysis and paired comparison test. There are four results of the assistance, namely: 1). The average value of skills in integrating new literacy into thematic science worksheet is 70.5 and this average value can be classified into good category, 2). Teachers felt the benefits of assistance in aspects of learning material, thematic learning, integration of new literacy and disaster literacy in learning, and writing of thematic learning material, 3). The response of student from to the use of thematic science worksheet by integrating new literacy can be entered into very good category with an average value of 86.7, and 4). The implementation of assisting on the writing of thematic science learning material is effective to improve the new literacy and disaster literacy of science teachers.

Abstract

Narrative literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran fisika mengintegrasikan etnosains permainan tradisional. Narrative literature review ini menelusuri jurnal penelitian dalam masalah sejenis, diambil secara purposive berdasarkan kesesuaian dengan topik. Jurnal yang digunakan berasal dari basis data beberapa publisher baik nasional dan juga internasional sebanyak 38 jurnal dalam kisaran lima tahun terakhir (2020-2015). Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari narrative literature review ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran fisika mengintegrasikan etnosains permainan tradisional telah dilakukan peneliti dalam bentuk konsep dan prinsip fisika, pembelajaran fisika sangat erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan nyata sehari-hari, pengintegrasian etnosains dalam pembelajaran fisika sangat penting dilakukan serta memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar peserta didik serta kearifan lokal dalam bentuk permainan sangat cepat dan familiar pada peserta didik, dengan bermain seperti permainan tradisional membuat peserta didik dengan rasa senang dapat mengikuti dan melakukannya, peserta didik memiliki keterampilan berpikir logis dan kritis dengan melihat peserta didik yang lain saat interaksi dalam bermain.

Abstract

Tantangan abad 21 menuntut peserta didik agar mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan teknologi. Pembelajaran berbasis kecakapan hidup (life skill) adalah salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan oleh pendidik untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21 tersebut. Pembelajaran berbasis kecakapan hidup merupakan pembelajaran yang menanamkan nilai-nilai kehidupan kepada peserta didik agar mampu dan terampil dalam menghadapi permasalahan kehidupan dan menemukan solusinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian literatur review yaitu dengan merangkum dan mereview beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan data yang diperoleh terkait pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis kecakapan hidup terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik. Dari hasil pencarian literatur diperoleh lima buah artikel yang terkait tentang pembelajaran berbasis kecakapan hidup terhadap hasil belajar fisika. Dari hasil analisis literatur yang telah dilakukan diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek pengetahuan (kognitif) sebesar 71,88. Pada aspek sikap (afektif) nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 66,05 dan nilai rata-rata pada aspek keterampilan (psikomotor) sebesar 66,70. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis kecakapan hidup memiliki pengaruh yang efektif pada hasil belajar (pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan) fisika peserta didik.
