Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konseptual siswa  ditinjau dari tingkat kemampuan matematika pada materi aljabar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas VIII B SMP N 5 Pontianak. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa tergolong rendah karena untuk siswa tingkat kemampuan matematika atas, indikator 1 hanya dicapai oleh 57,14% siswa, indikator 2 hanya dicapai oleh 17,85% siswa, sedangkan indikator 3 dan 4 tidak ada siswa yang mampu mencapai indikator tersebut. Siswa tingkat kemampuan matematika tengah, indikator 1 hanya dicapai oleh 18,17% siswa, indikator 2 hanya dicapai oleh 2,27% siswa, sedangkan indikator 3 dan 4 tidak ada siswa yang mampu mencapai indikator tersebut. Siswa tingkat kemampuan matematika bawah, indikator 1 hanya dicapai oleh 14,28% siswa, sedangkan indikator 2, 3 dan 4 tidak ada siswa yang mampu mencapai indikator tersebut. Kata kunci: Pemahaman Konseptual, Kemampuan Matematika Abstract: This research aims to find out students’ conceptual understanding in terms of the level of mathematical skills in algebra material. This research used descriptive method with case study research form. The subject of this research was 36 students of class VIII B of SMP N 5 Pontianak. The data analysis result showed that students’ conceptual understanding was relatively low because for students with high level of mathematical skills, indicator 1 was only achieved by 57,14% of students, indicator 2 was only achieved by 17,85% of students, while indicator 3 and 4 none of students achieved those indicators. Students with intermediate level of mathematical skills, indicator 1 was only achieved by 18,17% of students, indicator 2 was only achieved by 2,27% of students, while indicator 3 and 4 none of students achieved those indicators. Students with low level of mathematical skills, indicator 1 was only achieved by 14,28% of students, while indicator 2, 3, and 4 none of students achieved those indicators. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara siswa yang diberi Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Sebanyak 69 siswa menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan bahwa secara signifikan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,00, ? = 0,05) antara siswa yang diberi Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (rata-rata : 76,05) dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional (rata-rata : 59,37). Hasil uji statistik terhadap rata-rata hasil belajar pada setiap tingkat kemampuan siswa juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Kata Kunci : PMRI, Matematika, Realistik, Operasi Hitung. Abstract : The direction of this research is detecting the differences average of study result between the students that learned by Indonesian Realistik Mathematics Education (RME) and the students that learned by Conventional Teaching. This research using the experiment method with 69 students involved in the research. The result of Mann-Whitney test indicating that significantly the average study result between the students that learned by Indonesian Realistik Mathematics Education and the students that learned by conventional teaching are different. Based on ability level, the average study result between the students that learned by Indonesian Realistik Mathematics Education and the students that learned by Conventional Teaching also different significantly. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out the relationship between perception of mathematics learning and mathematical disposition of learners with the ability to solve the story problem of class X-PM2 at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The method used in this research is quantitative method with ex-post facto form. Population in this research is all of student class X of Marketing majors which amounts to 100 people and divided into 3 classes. The sample of this research is 32 students of class X PM 2 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The sampling technique of this research is cluster random sampling. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between perceptions of mathematics learning and the ability to solve story problems with a correlation value of 0.885, there is a positive relationship between mathematical disposition and the ability to solve the story problem with a correlation value of 0.861, there is a positive relationship between perception of mathematics learning and mathematical disposition with a correlation value of 0.907, and there is a positive relationship between the perception of mathematical learning and mathematical disposition with the ability to solve the story problem with a correlation value of 0.896.Keyword:  Perception of Mathematics Learning, Mathematical Disposition, Ability to Solve the Story Problem

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan koherensi sajian antar komponen kecakapan matematis materi Trigonometri dalam buku teks matematika Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian analisis isi. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah sajian kecakapan matematis dalam buku teks matematika SMA. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Koherensi sajian pemahaman konseptual materi Trigonometri dalam buku teks matematika A, B dan C tergolong cukup; (2) Koherensi sajian antara pemahaman konseptual dan kelancaran prosedural materi Trigonometri dalam buku teks matematika A dan B tergolong baik, sedangkan C tergolong cukup; (3) Koherensi sajian antara pemahaman konseptual dan kompetensi strategis materi Trigonometri dalam buku teks matematika A dan B tergolong baik, sedangkan C tergolong sangat kurang; dan (4) Koherensi sajian antara kelancaran prosedural dan penalaran adaptif materi Trigonometri dalam buku teks matematika A tergolong sangat baik, sedangkan B dan C tergolong cukup. Kata kunci: Koherensi, Kecakapan Matematis, Buku Teks Matematika Abstract: The purpose of this research was to explain how the coherence of presentation among the components of mathematical proficiency in Trigonometry in high school mathematics textbooks. The method that used in this research was descriptive and the form was content analysis. Object of this research was a mathematical proficiency presentation in mathematics textbooks. The results showed that: (1) Coherence of presentation conceptual understanding in Trigonometry in mathematics textbooks A, B and C was classified enough; (2) Coherence between presentation of conceptual understanding and procedural fluency in Trigonometry in mathematics textbooks A and B was classified good, whereas C was classified enough; (3) Coherence between presentation of conceptual understanding and strategic competence in Trigonometry in mathematics textbooks A and B was classified good, whereas C was classified enough; and (4) Coherence between presentation of procedural fluency and adaptive reasoning in Trigonometry in mathematics textbooks A was classified very good, whereas B and C was classified enough. Abstract

AbstrackThe goal of this research to describe the mathematical literacy of student in grade VIII studied based on uncertainty and data content at SMP Negeri 03 Pontianak. The method we used in this research is descriptive in a study case form. The subjects chosen in this research were students of grade VIII A as many as 35 people. The results of the test we did shown that the attainment of student’s mathematical literacy is mostly in Level 1 until Level 4, Level 1 can be attained by 85.71% of students, Level 2 by 100% of students, Level 3 by 80% of students, and Level 4 by 97.14% of students. Meanwhile,few studentcan attain level 5about 8.57%of students. The last,there is no students can attain level 6.Factors considered as the cause of the low level of attainmentin level 5 and Level 6 is student not able to interpret the data available and relate some data to information from other sourcesnor reasoning and communicating ideas.          Keywords: Achievement, Literasi Matematis, Uncertainty and Data

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok dalam pemecahan masalah persamaan linear satu variabel di kelas VII MTs IKA-PGA Baiturrahman Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pra-ekperimental dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel total (sampel populasi) yang berjumlah 16 siswa kelas VII. Berdasarkan dari hasil rata-rata skor pre-test dan rata-rata skor post-test terlihat jelas adanya peningkatan hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa setelah diberikan penerapan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok pada materi persamaan linear satu variabel di kelas VII yaitu dari 2,00 (pre-test) menjadi 6,06 (post-test) (dari skor maksimal 8,00). Dari hasil perhitungan angket respon siswa diketahui bahwa siswa setuju terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok pada materi persamaan linear satu variabel di kelas VII.Kata kunci : Investigasi Kelompok, Pemecahan Masalah, ResponAbstract: The purpose of this research was to find out the implementation of group investigation learning model in problem solving the linear equations with one variable material to the class VII MTs IKA-PGA Baiturrahman Pontianak. The research method that used in this research was experimental with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this research was 16 students. Based on the studens mean score of pretest and posttest, there was an improvement of students ability of problem solving after given the implementation of group investigation learning model on linear equation with one variable material to the class VII, that was from 2,00 (pre-test) to 6,06 (post-test) (from maximal score of 8,00). From guestionnaire analysis of students response, it showed that students perceived agree to the implementation og group investigation learning model on linear equation with one variable material to the class VII.Keywords : Group Investigation, Problem Solving, Response

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengungkapkan  penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dalam upaya mengembangkan kemampuan koneksi matematis ditinjau dari Pengetahuan Awal Matematis (PAM)  siswa kelas XI SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Kab. Kubu Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode Penelitian  yang digunakan adalah eksperimental semu (Quasi eksperimental) dengan rancangan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Sampel penelitian adalah  sebanyak  dua kelas masing – masing 40 orang untuk kelas eksperimen dan 39 orang dari kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan : Kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik dari pada   pendekatan   konvensional; Dilihat dari PAM :  kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa  dengan  PAM tinggi melalui  pendekatan kontekstual sama baiknya dengan  pendekatan konvensional; pada siswa yang memiliki PAM sedang  , pendekatan kontektual,  sama baiknya dengan   pendekatan konvensional;   pada  siswa yang memiliki PAM rendah dengan pendekatan kontekstual  lebih baik dari pada pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan  kontekstual,  Kemampuan koneksi matematis. ABSTRACT  :This study is aimed at describing the process of improving students' mathematical connection through contextual approach in term of Basic Knowledge of Mathematical (BKM) of the ninth students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya, Pontianak regency, West Borneo province. The method used is Quasi Experimental (Eksperiment Semu) which draft  2 x 3 factorial design. The research subject are two classes as the experiment group consist of 40 students for each class and one class as the control group consist of 39 students..The result of this research are; Students' ability at mathematical connection by using contextual approach better than conventional approach;  Students' ability who learned mathematical connection by using contextual approach who has great BKM, it does not better than the conventional learning process ;  Students' ability who learned mathematical connection by using contextual approach who has average BKM, it does not better than the conventional approach;  Students' ability who has low BKM  learned between mathematical connection by using contextual approach it better than conventional approach. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the extent to which the cooperative learning assisted teaching props to improve student learning outcomes and student Learning activities in the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Galing. The method used in this research is the method of classroom action research with data collection techniques such as observation and tests. The results showed an increase in result and learning activities. Learning activities of students in the second cycle by 66, 1 % has increased by 9.7 % from the first cycle by 56, 4 %. A total of 20 students or 58 % of the 31 students have finished with an average value of 66, 3. Quantity completeness and the average value of the learning outcomes of students compatible with indicator research meets the learning outcomes of students said to increase when reaching the KKM by 65 or more. It can be concluded that through cooperative learning assisted teaching props on material set may improve outcomes and student learning activities in the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Galing. Keywords: cooperative, props, activities, learning outcomes Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana model pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Galing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil dan aktifitas belajar. Aktifitas belajar siswa pada siklus kedua sebesar 66, 1 % telah mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,7 % dari siklus pertama sebesar 56, 4%. Sebanyak 20 siswa atau sebesar 58% dari 31 siswa telah tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 66, 3. Jumlah ketuntasan dan nilai rata-rata tersebut memenuhi indikator penelitian yaitu hasil belajar siswa dikatakan meningkat apabila mencapai nilai KKM sebesar 65 atau lebih. Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation to learn mathematics through the learningstrategy Think-Talk-Write (TTW) fifth grade students of Muhammadiyah Ngasem MI.Subjects were teachers and students of class V. The object of research is learning motivationand learning strategies Think-Talk-Write (TTW). The research process was conductedin two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages,namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques usedthrough observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Instrument used in this study isthe observation sheet, guidance interviews, tests, assessment guidance document data.Data analysis technique used consists of three components, namely: data reduction, datadisplay, and conclusion. Test the validity of using triangulation and triangulation methods.Indicators of success is the achievement of 75% on each of the indicators. The resultsshowed an increase in motivation to learn mathematics. 1) the readiness of students tofollow the learning cycle I II 67.2% 80.4% cycle 2) activity of students in a discussion witha friend the first cycle II 65.2% 82.6% cycle 3) the ability of students working on the firstcycle 58.7% second cycle 84.8% 4) the courage to ask questions first cycle 50% cycle II79.2%. The conclusion of this research is the application of learning strategies Think-Talk-Write (TTW) can increase students’ motivation to learn mathematics class V MIMuhammadiyah Ngasem Colomadu District of Academic Year 2013/2014.

Abstract

Like we know gender construction is always connected to cultural, and when the culture change it will effect gender construction. Yogyakarta lika other country in Indonesia,have high experience in modernisasi. This process will effect to culture in small or big part.  This paper is a discription and explanation about gender construction in Yogyakarta on this era, written based on research. This research was conducted by necessity to know about the changes gender construction in  community that have modernisation process. This process can  create new relation between man and woman in many aspect. As a city that have strong patriarkhie culture, Yogyakarta can not avoid the modernisation process. And this process can influence that patriakhie culture, and than influence gender ralation indirectly in Yogyakarta. Gender construction in this paper is seen from four aspects, those are education, economi,  politic dan double garden.  Modernisation give effects on same aspek of gender construction. Although same aspect specially in public domain there is same changes in gender construction like in education, economi dan politic, but in domestic area specially doble garden, we can see that we find remains thd same. So we still can see the gender bias in domestic area. This research doing with discriptif method.
