Abstract

In the modern era, gender equality has become one of the social issues receiving significant attention worldwide. Social changes driven by globalization, urbanization, and technological advancements have created opportunities for increased awareness of human rights and the importance of equality in various aspects of life. This study employs a qualitative method through literature review. Islamic perspectives on gender roles are diverse, with fundamental principles supporting equality between men and women, although traditional interpretations often position men as leaders and women as homemakers. Some progressive interpretations emphasize that both genders complement each other in various roles, opening space for a more inclusive gender equality. Religion holds great potential to drive social change by promoting values of justice and compassion, and by advocating for the rights of women and gender minority groups. However, challenges arise from the resistance of conservative groups that uphold traditional gender roles and patriarchal cultural norms, which hinder the implementation of gender equality in society. To overcome these obstacles, more open dialogue and a fairer social system are needed. Keywords: Religion; Gender Equality; Contemporary Society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs in developing an assessment instrument for basic Javanese script reading skills among eighth-grade junior high school students. A preliminary study conducted in three junior high schools in Talang Subdistrict revealed that approximately 80% of students face difficulties in reading Javanese script. These difficulties are mainly observed in distinguishing the shapes of characters, understanding the use of sandhangan (diacritics), character pairs, and punctuation marks (pada). In addition, Javanese numerals are also an aspect that students have not fully mastered. The assessments conducted by teachers so far tend to be informal and do not utilize standardized instruments, resulting in less objective and unstandardized evaluations of students’ abilities. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, with the current focus on the needs analysis stage. The analysis results indicate that both teachers and students require a valid and reliable assessment instrument, preferably in an easy-to-understand multiple-choice format. Developing such an instrument is crucial to enhance the effectiveness of Javanese script learning and support cultural preservation through education.

Abstract

Abstract Language is the identity of a nation that is very important to apply from an early age. Because language can reflect a person's ethnicity, customs of origin. Language is very important to develop from an early age because language will affect the child's ability to speak and will affect the child's cognitive. In everyday life, the language given to children should be a language that can show the child's identity such as Javanese. Because with the development of this era, Javanese language began to be displaced by other foreign languages so that children forget their mother tongue. For this reason, the introduction of Javanese can be done with the Javanese-based question and answer method accompanied by loose part media in accordance with current curriculum developments. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Javanese language-based question and answer method using loose part media which aims to improve children's language skills, especially group A children at Dharma Wanita Nogosari Kindergarten. By using quantitative research methods of experimental research type by using one group pretest - post test design. This research was conducted by taking a sample of group A students with a total of 9 children with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. To determine the significant value, this study used the normality test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0.2.0. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness and influence on improving children's language skills by using the Javanese language-based question and answer method using loose part media with the highest pretest score of 46 and the highest post test score of 69 with the results of the normality test 0.83> 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of using the Javanese language-based question and answer method using loose part media in improving children's language in group A of Dharma Wanita Nogosari Kindergarte. Abstract

In the use of phonological variations of the Javanese language located in the central and suburban areas of Surabaya, unconsciously there are dialect differences which cause a variety of phonological variations in the form of vowel and consonant phonemes. This study aims to determine the variety of phonological variations, determine the types of phonemes, and find out the results of the analysis of phonemes used in Javanese in the central and suburban areas of Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data taken comes from communication between researchers and residents living in the Surabaya area. This study uses an instrument in the form of interviews. The method used by researchers in collecting data is the method of observing and noting (SLC). The method used by researchers in analyzing the data is the equivalent method with the determinant element sorting technique (PUP). The result of this study is that the phonological variations used in Javanese in the central and outskirt areas of Surabaya have vowel phonemes in the form of /u/, /i/, /o/, /a/, /e/, and /ə/ and consonant phonemes in the form of /d/, /g/, /s/, /b/, /n/, /m/, /p/, /l/, /r/, /t/, /w/, /y/, /k /, /c/, /h/, and J/. The conclusion of this research is that there is a geographical location and linguistic phenomena that are used by residents in formal education at school, so that they can influence the Javanese language spoken.   Pada penggunaan variasi fonologis Bahasa Jawa yang terletak di wilayah pusat dan pinggiran Surabaya secara tidak sadar terdapat perbedaan dialek yang menyebabkan adanya ragam variasi fonologis berupa fonem vokal dan konsonan. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui ragam variasi fonologis, mengetahui jenis fonem, dan mengetahui hasil dari analisis fonem yang dimanfaatkan dalam Bahasa Jawa di wilayah pusat dan pinggiran Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang dimanfaatkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diambil bersumber dari komunikasi peneliti dan penduduk yang tinggal di wilayah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa wawancara. Metode yang dimanfaatkan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah metode simak libat catat (SLC). Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam menganalisis data adalah metode padan dengan teknik pilah unsur penentu (PUP). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah variasi fonologis yang digunakan pada Bahasa Jawa di wilayah pusat dan pinggiran Surabaya terdapat fonem vokal berupa /u/, /i/, /o/, /a/, /e/, dan /ə/ dan fonem konsonan berupa /d/, /g/, /s/, /b/, /n/, /m/, /p/, /l/, /r/, /t/, /w/, /y/, /k/, /c/, /h/, dan /j/. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu, adanya letak geografis dan fenomena kebahasaan yang terbiasa digunakan oleh penduduk pada pendidikan formal di sekolah, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi Bahasa Jawa yang diujarkan.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, semakin banyak umat Muslim yang menggunakan dan mengadopsi berbagai ilmu pengetahuan modern dari barat tanpa batas. Menyikapi hal tersebut, dinilai penting untuk menggali kembali keilmuan islam agar tidak hilang begitu saja. Penelitian ini membahas hakikat ilmu menurut perspektif Syekh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani dalam salah satu kitabnya yaitu Sirrul Asrar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Dalam kitab tersebut, Syekh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani mengemukakan bahwa ilmu lahir terdiri dari dua belas macam, begitu juga ilmu batin. Ilmu-ilmu tersebut kemudian dibagi menjadi empat pokok utama, yaitu syariat lahiriah, syariat batiniah (ilmu tarekat), tarekat batiniah (ilmu makrifat), dan batiniah batin (ilmu hakikat). Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi urgensi untuk kembali memahami dan menerapkan hakikat ilmu dalam Islam sebagai respons terhadap dominasi ilmu pengetahuan barat. Syekh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani menekankan pentingnya penguasaan empat jenis ilmu tersebut, yang mencakup aspek syariat, tarekat, makrifat, dan hakikat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkuat pemahaman hakikat ilmu dalam Islam dan menunjukkan relevansinya di era kontemporer.

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menerapkan konsep model kooperatif tipe examples non examples artikel ini juga akan menjelaskan secara teoritis penerapan model kooperatif tipe Examples non examples artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode kajian literatur Penerapan model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keaktivan siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran secara tepat dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan keaktivan siswa. Salah satu contoh model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kususnya pada mata pelajaran ipa adalah model pembelajaran examples non examples.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of an effective evaluation and monitoring system in improving the quality of teaching Islamic education in schools. The research method used was qualitative research with a case study approach, involving the participation of Islamic education teachers from several schools as respondents. The results of the study show that the implementation of an effective evaluation and monitoring system has an important role in improving the quality of teaching Islamic education in schools. The research findings highlight the importance of setting indicators for achieving clear and measurable goals, which include aspects of religious knowledge, understanding of Islamic concepts, application in daily life, Islamic attitudes and values, and practical skills. In addition, the development of a comprehensive evaluation tool is a key factor in the implementation of this system. Written tests, oral tests, projects, class observations, and student portfolios are used as evaluation tools that cover various types of assessments. Technology utilization also plays an important role, with the use of software and applications that support the efficient collection, analysis and reporting of evaluation data. Furthermore, the involvement of teachers in the evaluation and monitoring process has proven to make a positive contribution. Teachers can provide valuable input and feedback to improve teaching methods, as well as identify areas that need improvement in the teaching of Islamic education. By implementing an effective evaluation and monitoring system, it is hoped that schools can continuously improve the quality of teaching Islamic education. This research contributes to an understanding of the importance of holistic and sustainable evaluation in supporting the development of quality Islamic education that is relevant to the times.

Abstract

Market Day is one of the experiential learning strategies designed to cultivate entrepreneurial values among students from an early age. This study aims to describe the role of Market Day activities in developing students’ entrepreneurial spirit and to explore the character values and skills that emerge through the implementation of these activities. The research employed a literature review method by analyzing various relevant scientific sources, including national and international journals discussing the application of Market Day in elementary and secondary schools. The findings show that Market Day plays a significant role in fostering students’ economic, social, and entrepreneurial skills. Through this activity, students learn to manage capital, set prices, market products, interact with customers, and take responsibility for their business outcomes. Furthermore, values such as creativity, honesty, discipline, self-confidence, and cooperation naturally develop throughout the process. Market Day also supports the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project (P5) by teaching independence, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. In conclusion, Market Day is not merely a simple economic activity at school but serves as an effective contextual learning medium to shape students’ character and entrepreneurial mindset. Therefore, it is recommended that Market Day be continuously developed and integrated into the school curriculum as a strategic effort to prepare creative, competitive, and entrepreneurial-minded young generations.

Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhoea is a common menstrual pain complaint among adolescents that may interfere with daily activities. Non-pharmacological therapies such as red ginger decoction and LV3 acupressure are considered effective, safe, and affordable alternatives. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of combining red ginger decoction and LV3 acupressure in reducing dysmenorrhoea among adolescents. Methods: This pre-experimental study applied a one group pre-test–post-test design with 30 female students from Nurusshaleh MTs and Senior High School, Katol Timur, Kokop Sub-district, Bangkalan, Madura. Interventions were given for two consecutive days: red ginger decoction twice daily and LV3 acupressure once daily. Pain intensity was assessed using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: The Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed a significant reduction in pain (p=0.000). Before intervention, most respondents reported moderate (43.3%) and severe pain (46.7%). After intervention, 70.0% reported mild pain and 30.0% reported no pain. Conclusion: Gingerol in red ginger has anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant properties, while LV3 acupressure stimulates endorphin release. The combination effectively reduces dysmenorrhoea and can be recommended as an alternative therapy that is practical, inexpensive, and self-applicable.
