Abstract

Teachers have a wide opportunity to develop teaching modules according to their needs, student characteristics and regional characteristics.  However, the reality in the field has not fully run as it should. It can be seen from the teaching modules used that there is no connection with local wisdom found in the area where education is carried out. For this reason, a training is needed through teacher empowerment, especially elementary school teachers in Siak Regency who have high potential to be able to develop teaching modules based on local wisdom. This service program aims to improve teachers' pedagogical competence in making teaching modules based on local wisdom in Siak. The service was carried out to teachers of SDN 004 Buatan II, Koto Gasib District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this service is the participatory method, which involves the community as a subject in development. Empowerment activities are carried out in the form of face-to-face workshops (offline).

Abstract

This community service activity aims to (1) increase teachers' knowledge about the behavior of Attention Deficit And Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) children and (2) improve teachers' ability to identify and treat ADHD at SD Negeri 90 Pekanbaru. The achievement of these objectives was carried out through training using the methods of lecture, question and answer, demonstration, and practice. The activity began with a focus group discussion (FGD) which was attended by various parties. After the training activities, monitoring or evaluation was carried out by the activity implementation team to see and assist teachers in completing the task of identifying and handling ADHD in elementary schools. The results showed that the community service program went well and smoothly. This program is able to provide teachers with an understanding of how to improve and identify ADHD behavior and how handling actions are carried out. The suggestions that can be made from the results of this community service program are that elementary school teachers are expected to have motivation and always cultivate a caring attitude towards the environment and student learning needs, especially with students with special needs (PDBK). Practitioners and experts, it is hoped that they can always assist elementary school teachers in activities related to the learning process in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Penilaian merupakan proses mengumpulkan dan mengelola data untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Penilaian memiliki peranan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penilaian menentukan keberhasilan siswa dalam pemahamannya terhadap materi pembelajaran. Penilaian hasil belajar siswa dilaksanakan untuk menentukan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini membahas terkait hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN 147 Pekanbaru yang berfokus pada aspek kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penilaian hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif di SDN 147 Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualiitatif, yaitu dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1.) Penilaian hasil belajar siswa di SDN 147 Pekanbaru pada aspek kognitif sudah cenderung baik dengan perolehan tertinggi nilai akhir sumatif yaitu 91,8. 2.) Rata-rata nilai tertinggi siswa yaitu berada pada penilaian sumatif ke 2 dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 91.  Sehingga hal ini dapat memberikan gambaran tentang tingkat pemahaman dan pencapaian pembelajaran siswa Kelas IV di SDN 147 Pekanbaru pada aspek kognitif.

Abstract

Di era digital, peran teknologi dan informasi komunikasi telah mengubah hampir setiap aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Kemajuan teknologi, juga membawa inovasi dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Salah satu media pembelajaran di era digital yaitu, augmented reality. Augmented Reality menawarkan solusi dengan menghadirkan visualisasi 3D, sehingga materi pembelajaran lebih mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran augmented reality berbasis budaya Melayu Riau di sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis. Media pembelajaran augmented reality dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian R&D dengan model ADDIE. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh tiga orang ahli yaitu ahli media, materi, dan bahasa dengan perolehan skor rata-rata keseluruhan 92,36% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji coba produk yang dilakukan kepada peserta didik memperoleh skor rata-rata keseluruhan 89,8% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan respon guru sebesar 95,3% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran augmented reality berbasis budaya Melayu Riau di sekoah dasar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Manajemen proses pembelajaran merupakan suatu metode yang lebih memprioritaskan kepada kreativitas dan kemandirian sekolah. Manajemen proses pembelajaran mencakup sejumlah hal yang sangat kompleks mulai dari perencanaan MBS, kemudian berlanjut ke tatalaksana secara konkrit, lalu perihal evaluasi menyeluruh, dan tidak kalah penting yakni sejumlah faktor pendukung maupun penghambat terkait hasil evaluasi dari manajemen yang dilibatkan. Perlu peningkatan dari perspektif manajemen proses yang menjurus ke ranah pembelajaran dikarenakan hal tersebut sangat berkaitan dengan dasar hasil PIRLS, AKSI dan PISA mengungkapkan bahwa di Indonesia literasi peserta didik tergolong rendah. Studi ini mengemban tujuan spesifik untuk memahami terkait efektivitas manajemen proses yang dikaitkan dengan unsur pembelajaran dari segi peningkatan kemampuan literasi peserta didik di SMPN 10 Bathin Solapan. Pendekatan kualitatif sengaja ditetapkan untuk kepentingan studi ini dengan menitikberatkan aspek sesi tanya jawab langsung alias wawancara, kemudian berlanjut ke tindakan observasi dan tidak lupa melibatkan studi pendokumentasian sebagai teknik khusus demi kepentingan penghimpunan data. Adapun temuan dalam riset ini menunjukkan jika efektivitas dari manajemen proses pembelajaran, antara lain: 1) manajemen modul pembelajaran, 2) manajemen model pembelajaran, 3) manajemen penggunaan media pembelajaran dan 4) manajemen pojok baca. Manajemen proses pembelajaran efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi peserta didik di SMPN 10 Bathin Solapan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Kuliah Kerja Nyata Universitas Riau di Desa Kota Medan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan potensi perikanan lokal melalui diversifikasi produk dengan mengolah ikan gabus (Channa striata) menjadi nugget. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya konsumsi ikan di Indonesia, khususnya di Desa Kota Medan, serta kebutuhan untuk mencegah stunting pada anak-anak yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya protein hewani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam dua tahap: sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya konsumsi ikan untuk pencegahan stunting dan pelatihan pembuatan nugget ikan gabus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai manfaat gizi ikan dan minat terhadap produk olahan ikan. Evaluasi program menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat, terutama ibu-ibu rumah tangga, merespons positif dan mulai menerapkan keterampilan baru ini, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan konsumsi ikan serta memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi bagi masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KUKERTA) is an academic activity carried out by students in the form of community service. Through this service, students gain experience interacting and socializing with the community while contributing to solving problems within the society. As part of their service, KUKERTA students from the University of Riau organized a national seminar to develop the character and potential of children in the villages of Lambang Sari I, II, and III. The seminar aims to provide understanding and strategies to teachers, parents, and other educators on how to develop the potential and creative character of children in these villages. By involving discussions with experts in the field of education, the seminar emphasizes the crucial role of teachers in enhancing creativity and guiding children to become strong, character-driven individuals. The outcomes of this activity show that an educational approach integrating religious values, creativity, and local culture is highly effective in shaping creative and morally upright character in children. Additionally, the seminar highlights the importance of collaboration between schools and parents in optimally facilitating the development of children's potential.

Abstract

Management of learning for children with special needs is carried out to ensure that all students receive appropriate and quality education so that they can develop optimally according to their potential. This research aims to describe the learning management carried out in inclusion classes. The design used in this research is a literature study. The research results show that learning management uses an individualization approach, a collaborative approach, behavior modification, use of media and the provision of friendly learning, as well as collaboration teacher and parent. Conclusions from this research: Teachers in inclusion classes need to adapt learning management to the needs, abilities and characteristics of students who have special needs.

Abstract

Learning outcomes assessment is a process that involves measuring and assessing students' knowledge, skills and attitudes towards established standards. Assessment of learning outcomes for children with special needs (ABK) must be carried out with adjustments to the student's abilities, such as vision, hearing, intellectual and physical abilities. This research aims to describe the assessment of learning outcomes for ABK in inclusion classes. The research method used is a literature review. The results of this research are that there are several types of assessment that can be used for inclusive education, namely formative assessment, summative assessment, diagnostic assessment, affective assessment, and fortopolio assessment. Inclusive education assessment is the process of measuring and assessing the achievements of children with special needs (ABK) in learning. The aim of assessment in inclusive education is to obtain information about students. This information can be used to help schools and teachers make decisions about instruction, learning outcomes, diagnosis, and educational improvement for each student.

Abstract

This study concludes that transformational leadership and human resource management (HRM) significantly enhance employee performance at the Pekanbaru City Education Office. Transformational leadership—reflected through idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—effectively improves the quality, quantity, and punctuality of employee work by providing role modeling, inspiration, and intellectual empowerment. Meanwhile, professionally implemented HRM practices, including planning, recruitment, competency development, compensation, and performance evaluation, contribute substantially to strengthening employee motivation, effectiveness, and productivity. Together, these two factors mutually reinforce one another: transformational leadership offers direction and momentum for change, while HRM provides a supportive system that enables employee development. Collectively, they cultivate an innovative, competitive organizational culture oriented toward enhancing the quality of public services.
