Abstract

Kacang hijau dan kacang merah dapat dibuat menjadi media alternatif pertumbuhan bakteri karena mengandung protein, karbohidrat, kalsium, fosfor, besi dan vitamin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pertumbuhan jumlah koloni bakteri Shigella dysentriae pada media alami kacang hijau dan kacang merah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment. Dimana biji kacang hijau dan kacang merah di rendam untuk dilepaskan dari kulitnya. Setelah itu kacang hijau dan kacang merah dikeringkan, dihaluskan hingga menjadi tepung. Kemudian di tambah agar murni, dilarutkan dengan aquadest, dipanaskan dan dihomogenkan. Setelah itu disterilkan. Kemudian dipergunakan untuk media pertumbuhan bakteri Shigella dysentriae. Hasil penelitian diperoleh jumlah rata-rata bakteri Shigella dysentriae yang tumbuh pada media kacang hijau sebanyak 100,44x10ª CFU/ml, pada media kacang merah sebanyak 85,81x10 CFU/ml dan pada media Nutrient Agar (media kontrol) sebanyak 101,50x104 CFU/ml. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak ada perbedaan pertumbuhan jumlah koloni bakteri Shigella dysentriae pada media kacang hijau dan media Nutrient agar dengan nilai signifikan 0,555.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a fairly high biodiversity, one of which is red shoots (Syzygium oleana). Red shoots are reported to have strong potential to inhibit bacterial growth, including tannins, saponins, flavonoids, and essential oils. To increase effectiveness in utilizing the potential of red shoots, it is made in a practical and easy-to-use dosage form. One of the effective dosage forms for topical therapy is hand sanitizer. The increasing prevalence of the corona virus has caused a shortage of hand sanitizers. Until now, there is no treatment that can cure Corona virus infection. Therefore, the World Health Organization (WHO) appeals to take preventive measures, one of which is washing hands properly. This  study aimed  to examine the antibacterial potential of red shoots (Syzygium oleana) against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria using the disc method. The juice is made in the form of a Hand Sanitizer Spay. The antibacterial activity was obtained by measuring the diameter of the inhibition zone after giving 4 variations of the concentration of the juice sample. Positive control used amoxicillin 30 g/disk and negative control used aquadest. The next stage of analysis of the quality of hand sanitizers includes organoleptic tests, pH measurements. The research design used is a quasi-experimental method. This research was started in May-December 2022. Samples in the form of red shoots were made in the form of Hand Sanitizer Spay with various concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% and the average inhibition zone value was 11.8 mm, 12.6 mm, 13.75 mm and 14.4 mm. Based on the results of research and computerized data processing with the Simple Linear Regression test, the value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05) means that there is an effect of the concentration of hand sanitizer squeezed from red shoots on the inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.

Abstract

The parameter of this research is the inhibition of red shoot leaf juice (Syzygium oleana) against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This research is a quasi-experimental research (Quasy Experiment). The sample in this study was red shoots leaf juice with 6 repetitions, the number of samples was 24, diluted from the red shoots leaf extract to 5%, the average inhibition zone was 7,33,33 mm, 10% inhibition zone 8 ,17,33 mm, 15% inhibition zone 9 mm and 20% inhibition zone 11.4 mm, amoxicillin positive control and negative control using aquadest. Based on the statistical results of the Anova test, the value of Sig. 0.000 (p= 0.001 < 0.005) which means that there is an effect of red shoot leaf juice (Syzygium oleana) in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus by diffusion method.

Abstract

Daun kemangi merupakan salah satu tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat salah satunya adalah sebagai anti bakteri. Daun kemangi memiliki senyawa kimia seperti flavonoid, tanin, fenolik, saponin dan minyak atsiri yang dapat berperan sebagai anti bakteri. Sehingga dapat digunakan untuk kesehatan dan  kebersihan kaki, terutama untuk penghilang bau kaki yang disebabkan oleh bakteri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya aktivitas anti bakteri pada sediaan spray perasan daun kemangi dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri staphylococcus epidermidis. Metode uji yang digunakan ialah metode difusi cakram. Perasan daun kemangi diformulasikan menjadi spray dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda yaitu 15%, 20% dan 25% setiap konsentrasi dilakukan 9 kali pengulangan sehingga sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 27 sampel. Sediaan spray kemudian di uji evaluasi dan di uji aktivitas anti bakteri terhadap bakteri staphylococcus epidermidis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sediaan spray perasan daun kemangi memiliki aktivitas anti bakteri dalam menghambat pertumbuhan staphylococcus epidermidis dengan luas zona hambat berturut-turut sebesar 9,61 mm (F1=15%) kategori sedang, 10,56 mm (F2=20%) kategori sedang, 12,83 mm (F3=25%) kategori kuat.

Abstract

Cooking oil is a food that is often used by the functioning community as a conductor of heat, a savory flavor enhancer and an increase in the calorie value of food. Some people use cooking oil with multiple uses as a medium for frying, the use of repeated cooking oil causes cooking oil to be used and if consumed it will be dangerous for health. Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia L) is one of the fruits used as refining cooking oil its function as an adsorbent and chelating where its compounds have the ability to prevent damage and stabilize free radicals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding noni fruit to used cooking oil to iodine numbers. This research method is quasi-experimental. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample used is cooking oil which is used to fry tilapia fish 4 times. This research was carried out by adsorption process that is by adding samples with noni fruit concentration concentration of 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% at a speed of 100 rpm for 60 minutes at a temperature of 90° C. Determination of iodine numbers is done by iodometric titration how the wijs work. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that the magnitude of the values maintained by iod numbers with concentrations of 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% respectively are 48.10 Gram lod / 100 Gr. 49.43 Gram lod / 100 Gr. 50.71 Gram lod / 100 Gr and 51.47 Gram lod / 100 Gr. The results of the analysis of thetest were Linear Regression obtained (p= 0,000 <0.05), indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which mean where is the effect of adding noni fruit powder to iodine numbers.

Abstract

Pembangunan karakter pada siswa merupakan upaya dalam mewujudkan amanat Landasan Negara yakni Pancasila dan UUD’45. Upaya pembangunan karakter ini didasari atas keprihatinan terhadap perubahan karakter siswa yang keluar daripada nilai-nilai Pancasila. Seiring perkembangan dunia tekhnologi dan internet, memaksa kita untuk segera berbenah dan mampu menangkal efek buruk dari perkembangan tekhnologi tersebut. Guru sebagai pendidik dan pengajar juga harus mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan meningkatkan kapasitas nya terkait PKn agar mampu memberikan pengajaran dan pengarahan yang baik dan benar kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan karakter nya. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The effect of fermentation time of robusta and arabica coffee skin on cascara tea quality and safety was studied in this research.  Robusta and arabica coffee skin were collected from Semendo area in Muara Enim District, South Sumatera Province, whereas cascara tea was then produced later. A non factorial completely randomized design was used and one factor was investigated, namely fermentation time of coffee skin (cascara). There were 8 factor levels, including non-fermented arabica cascara, 2, 4 and 6-hour fermented arabica cascara, non fermented Robusta cascara, 2, 4 and 6-hour fermented Robusta cascara.  All experiment was carried out in triplicates.  Observed parameters were physical (color), chemical (water content, pH value and total phenol content) as well as safety (metal impurities, including Pb, Cu, Zn, Hg and As content) characteristics. The results showed that fermentation time significantly decreased lightness, hue, water content, pH value and  total phenol content of brewed tea, whereas chroma increased significantly.  In conclusion, the best treatment factor for Robusta cascara was the one that was fermented for 4 hours with the following characteristics: lightness 40.77%, hue 62.45O, water content 5.12%, pH 4.72, and total phenol content 1.92 mgGAE/g, whereas  the best treatment factor for Arabica cascara was the one that was fermented for 4 hours with the following characteristics: lightness 42.77%, hue 63.45O, water content 5.42%, pH 4.12, and total phenol content 2.04 mgGAE/g. Furthermore, brewed tea both  in Robusta and Arabica  contained lower  metal impurities compared to SNI standard

Abstract

Organic fertilizer raw materials that can be obtained naturally and are rich in fertilizer nutrients can be found in animal slaughtering activities. Slaughtering activities generally produce animal waste and manure, which can be used as raw material for organic fertilizer. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the composition of raw materials on the quality of organic fertilizers. The organic fertilizer parameters studied were C/N, P, K, pH, and temperature. This study used four reactors with each reactor volume of 120 L and the exact weight of raw materials in each reactor of 20 kg. Variations in the composition of the raw material of the rumen of Madura cattle and straw in this study were RK (100% cow rumen), R1: (65% cow rumen: 35% straw), R2: (50% cow rumen: 50% straw), R3: (35% cow rumen: 65% straw). The composting process is carried out for 50 days. Analysis of the quality parameters of organic fertilizer using SNI 2803: 2010. The results showed that differences in the content of the raw materials impacted the quality of the generated organic fertilizer. R3 (35% rumen cattle: 65% straw) with C/N ratio = 13.25, P = 6.12%, K = 7.55%, pH = 6.82, and Temperature = 33.7oC are variations in the raw material composition for Madura cattle rumen and straw that fulfill the quality criteria of the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number 70 of 2011.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah ada hubungan antara kemampuan menciptakan gelap terang dengan kemampuan menggambar kubus yang signifikan dan seberapa besarkah pengaruh dari penggunaan teknik dusel terhadap kemampuan menggambar kubus serta hubungan antar faktor yang menjadi penghambat dan pendukung dalam menciptakan gelap terang dengan kemampuan menggambar kubus pada kelas VIII Terpadu 4 SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan, Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan Korelasional (Correlational Research) penelitian ini melibatkan satu kelas dan memakai 2 tes dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kenaikan yang signifikan dari hasil Postest dibandingkan dengan hasil Pretest. penggunaan Teknik Dusel mencapai keberhasilan 73% dan penggunaan teknik konvensional sebesar 72% hasil perhitungan (uji linerasi) di peroleh bahwa penelitian ini menggunakan tes menggambar kubus menunjukkan kemajuan pada gambar siswa kelas VII Terpadu 4 pada SMP Muhammadiyah sehingga Ho diterima Ha ditolak, artinya terdapat hubungan signifikan positif antara penilaian prestasi kerja dengan pengembangan individu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan teknik dusel terhadap kemampuan menggambar kubus pada siswa kela VIII Terpadu 4 SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan.

Abstract

Investment is placing a certain amount of money at this time to get some profit in the future. Investments are divided into three based on the period, namely short-term investments, medium-term investments, and long-term investments. Gold is an example of a good long-term investment. Gold price forecasting is an important thing to know when investing in gold. In this study, gold price data is divided into two parts, namely training data consisting of 674 data from 1 September 2020 to 6 July 2022 and testing data consisting of 75 data from 7 July 2022 to 19 September 2022. The data indicates that there is a trend element so it is suitable for analysis using the Double Exponential Smoothing Holt and Fuzzy Time Series Cheng. Data processing using the Double Exponential Smoothing Holt and Fuzzy Time Series Cheng methods is complemented by the creation of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) which can facilitate the process of selecting the best method. The analysis's findings indicate that Double Exponential Smoothing Holt (0.5427603%), which has a reduced MAPE value than Fuzzy Time Series Cheng (0.6053103%), is the best method.
