Abstract

Transportation is important things to support mobility. The high level of mobility is in line with the growth of vehicles which has increased causing congestion on roads. Highways are one of the government’s efforts to reduce congestion. Gayamsari Toll Gate is one of the toll gates in Semarang City that experiencing the phenomenon of queuing when paying tolls. This study aims to determine the operation of the service system by obtaining a queuing model and system performance measures from the distribution of arrivals and services. Bayesian method is used to determine the distribution of arrivals and services by finding the posterior distribution. The combination of the sample likelihood function and the prior distribution is known as Bayesian method. The prior distribution used is the previous research data which produces a negative binomial distribution. The likelihood function of the arrival sample in this study is discrete uniform and the likelihood function of the service sample produces a negative binomial distribution. The results are the queuing system model is (Beta/Beta/5): (GD/∞/∞). Based on the results of the queue simulation, we can assume that the service system is optimal.

Abstract

Global maternal mortality reduction remains a part of The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Maternal death in Central Java increased in 2021, with the leading cause is related to Covid-19. Maternal mortality in Central Java is demonstrated using Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) for addressing the spatial heterogeneity aspects. Cross Validation is used to determine the optimal bandwidth and Euclidean distance used to discover the weighting matrix. Independent variables such as number of nurse, number of primary clinic, and household percentage with safe water supply are identified as local variables, whereas other independent variables, such as complications from delivery management and number of poverty are identified as global variables, hence the Mixed GWR model, which combine both local and global variables, is used. Based on the value of AIC, MSE, also adjusted , the optimal model for analyzing the maternal mortality is Mixed GWR with fixed Gaussian weighting.

Abstract

Queuing is the phenomenon that occurs when a service needs more than it can handle. This phenomenon is common in many places, such as restaurants. Attempts to analyze the behavior of queuing systems are called queuing system studies, one of which is the use of mean analysis (MVA). MVA can be used when arrival and service times do not follow an exponential distribution. The case study is the queuing system of Domino's Pizza Gajah Mada Pekalongan, which has two counters and took seven days to observe. This study aims to apply MVA and determine performance measures for queuing systems. In this study, MVA can be used because the arrival-to-service time does not follow an exponential distribution. The resulting cue model is (Gamma/GEV/2). (GD/∞/∞) and utilization is 0.43045. The average customer queuing and in the system are at most one customer. The average time to queue is 31.80336 seconds, the average time to complete a service is 321.0971 seconds, and the probability that the system isn’t busy 0.39816 or 39.8%.

Abstract

Reducing toddler mortality is one of the desire of sustainable development programs.Modeling count data may be analyzed the usage of Poisson regression.The assumption that must be met in Poisson regression is that the mean and variance values must be equal, often in count data there is a violation of this assumption. This is indicated by the variance value which is greater than the mean value (overdispersion). Poisson Inverse Gaussian (PIG) regression is one form of mixed Poisson regression to model data that experience overdispersion cases. The MLE method is used to estimate the PIG regression parameters and hypothesis testing using the MLTR method. The best model of the PIG regression form is based on the smallest AIC value. The results of hypothesis testing concluded that the percentage of under-fives who received exclusive breast feeding had a significant effect on the number of pneumonia cases among toddler. Data modeling using the PIG regression method in this study is complemented by the creation of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that can facilitate the process of selecting the best model.

Abstract

Global warming occurs due the high concentration of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) in the atmosphere, which is called the greenhouse effect. The highest greenhouse gas that causes global warming that is being piled up in the atmosphere due human activity is carbon dioxide. Data on the average increase in global carbon dioxide (C02) concentrations are assumed contain elements of trend and seasonality. Holt-Winter's Multiplicative Triple Exponential Smoothing Method and Multiplicative Classical Decomposition the best choices in predicting data that contains trend and seasonality elements. Forecasting data on the global average increase CO2 has the objective of predicting data for the next 12 periods. The data used is data on the global average increase  for the period January 2013 to December 2022. The prediction error measure used is MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error). The results of the analysis on the Triple Exponential Smoothing Holt-Winter's Multiplicative method obtained a MAPE value of 0.09395%, indicating very good prediction category, while the results of the analysis of the Multiplicative Classical Decomposition method had a MAPE value of 0.07021%, which means that it has very good category in do forecasting. Based on the MAPE value obtained, the best method is the Multiplicative Classical Decomposition method.

Abstract

Penelitian menggunakan metode gravitasi telah dilakukan di daerah Kalibening Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan dan jenis sesar serta struktur geologi bawah permukaan daerah penelitian berdasarkan data anomali gravitasi. Penelitian menggunakan analisis First Horizontal Derivative (FHD) dan Second Vertical Derivative (SVD) untuk mengetahui keberadaan dan jenis sesar. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui Peta Anomali Bouguer yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Sumberdaya Geologi Bandung. Jumlah data yang digunakan pada penelitian sebanyak 540 data dengan luas daerah 26 km x 19 km. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data ke bidang datar, pemisahan data anomali regional dan residual, serta analisis FHD dan SVD untuk mengetahui keberadaan sesar dan jenisnya. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa di daerah Kalibening terdapat sebuah sesar dengan kategori sesar rotasi yang memiliki orientasi barat laut-tenggara dengan kemiringan 10°. Sedangkan hasil pemodelan dua dimensi memperlihatkan bahwa daerah Kalibening tersusun atas tujuh formasi batuan yaitu Formasi Gunungapi Jambangan (Qj) dengan nilai densitas 2,59 - 2,69 g/cm3, Formasi Ligung (QTlb) dengan nilai densitas 2,60 – 2,75 g/cm3, Formasi Halang (Tmph) dengan nilai densitas 2,66 – 2,79 g/cm3, Formasi Rambatan (Tmr) dengan nilai densitas 2,70 – 2,85 g/cm3, Anggota Sigugur Formasi Rambatan (Tmrs) dengan nilai densitas 2,67 – 2,85 g/cm3, Formasi Totogan (Tomt) dengan nilai densitas 2,82 – 2,88 g/cm3, dan batuan intrusi (Tm) dengan nilai denstias 2,83 – 2,90 g/cm3.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Sumber Rejo tentang pentingnya sertifikasi halal dalam meningkatkan daya saing produk kuliner. UMKM Seblak D’Gemoy milik Bu Khasanah dipilih sebagai sasaran karena belum memiliki sertifikat halal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahapan: survey, pendampingan, dan penyerahan sertifikat halal. Pada tahap pertama, dilakukan survey untuk mengetahui legalitas usaha dan kekurangan yang dimiliki. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pendampingan untuk membantu proses pengajuan sertifikat halal melalui sistem SiHalal. Tahap terakhir adalah penyerahan sertifikat halal yang telah diterbitkan oleh BPJPH. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah mendapatkan sertifikat halal, penjualan Seblak D’Gemoy meningkat signifikan, terutama dalam hal jumlah produk yang terjual per hari. Sertifikasi halal tidak hanya meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen, tetapi juga memperluas pangsa pasar, terutama di kalangan konsumen muslim. Program ini memberikan dampak positif pada UMKM, yang kini memiliki daya saing yang lebih tinggi di pasar. Oleh karena itu, sosialisasi dan pendampingan lebih lanjut terkait pentingnya sertifikasi halal sangat diperlukan untuk keberlanjutan usaha UMKM di berbagai daerah.

Abstract

This research was motivated by class VIII SLB-E students who were less motivated to learn painting because the media used was less varied. Hence, students were less interested in painting. This research aims to assess the painting work of SLB-E students at the North Sumatra Province level based on four aspects: theme, technique, neatness and beauty. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through demonstrations, practical tests, observation and documentation. The research sample consisted of 18 Deaf Grade VIII students. The target to be achieved in implementing painting learning is to increase motivation, creativity and students' interest in practising. The expected achievements in this research are the ability to express ideas according to the theme, master painting techniques with alternative media such as ceramic plates, and produce neat and beautiful work. The research results showed an average score of 86 (Very Good), with details: theme (82), technique (87), neatness (88), and beauty (85). In conclusion, students can use ceramic plates as media to apply these four aspects in painting.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of painting techniques on cutting board media based on the principles of fine arts among grade XI students at SMA Dharma Pancasila Medan. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The study involved 30 grade XI students specializing in painting. Data were collected through documentation, practical tests, and observations. The findings reveal the following average scores: 82.78 for the principle of unity (fairly good), 82.84 for the principle of balance (fairly good), 81.81 for the principle of rhythm (fairly good), 81.68 for the principle of emphasis (fairly good), 84.12 for the principle of proportion (good), and 82.32 for the principle of harmony (fairly good). These results indicate that the students demonstrated a fairly good ability to apply the principles of fine arts in their painting projects on cutting board media during the 2024–2025 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to recognize the work time influence for the income, how the influence of their household income and the insurance number of the consumption expense. We can see that the household revenue can complete their necessary life and can see the household status based on the poor household criteria according to BPS. The population in this research is the recycler in TPA(Tempat Pembuangan Akhir) Gunung Tugel. The respondent number of this research is 72 respondents. The respondent number determination done by sensus method. It used descriptive analysis method with intersecting tabulation and frequency distribution list. From the result of it, the data analysis shows that: (1) The work time has positive effect to their income, (2) The household income and the insurance amount of recycler’s family has positive influence to household consumption expenditure, (3) There are 22 (30,56%) from 72 respondent who can’t suffice necessary.
