Abstract

Abstract This community service aims to introduce and empower boreh techniques in beauty business for Malay community in Singapore. Boreh technique is a method commonly used for the beauty business that provides many good bodily sensations. Using visual technology, the introduction of spices and techniques of use in beauty care are presented in the form of presentations so that participants can easily understand them. The results of this training will increase insight into boreh technology for the beauty care business, especially for Malay community in Singapore. The results of this community service activity include: 1) there was an increase in entrepreneurial knowledge in the beauty sector, the increase that occurred was 95%. 2) Based on the completion of the activity satisfaction level questionnaire, it is known that the average participant satisfaction is 85% towards the improving entrepreneurial knowledge of making bridal boreh for ethnic malay residents in Singapore. Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan memberdayakan teknik boreh dalam usaha kecantikan bagi masyarakat Melayu di Singapura. Teknik boreh merupakan salah satu metode yang umum digunakan untuk usaha kecantikan yang memberikan banyak sensasi Kesehatan dan kecantikan bagi tubuh. Pengenalan rempah-rempah dan teknik pembuatan boreh dalam perawatan kecantikan disajikan dalam bentuk presentasi sehingga mudah dipahami oleh peserta. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menambah wawasan mengenai pembuatan boreh bagi usaha perawatan kecantikan khususnya bagi masyarakat Melayu di Singapura. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta berdasarkan instrument yang di sajikan: 1) terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan berwirausaha di bidang kecantikan, peningkatan yang terjadi sebesar 95%. 2) Berdasarkan pengisian kuesioner tingkat kepuasan kegiatan diketahui bahwa rata-rata kepuasan peserta sebesar 85% terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan berwirausaha pembuatan boreh pengantin bagi warga etnis Melayu di Singapura.

Abstract

Islam encourages its followers to seek knowledge as an obligation that has the value of worship. In Islam, seeking knowledge not only contains academic aspects but also involves psychological and sociological dimensions. This study aims to explore the ethics of seeking knowledge in Islam and examine its psychological-sociological dimensions. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were obtained from the Qur'an, hadith, journals, and related literature. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, including data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Islam teaches various ethics in seeking knowledge, such as sincerity, respecting teachers, maintaining intentions, and practicing the knowledge gained. From a psychological perspective, the ethics of seeking knowledge are related to motivation, such as Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, which explains that achieving knowledge is a human need towards self-actualization. From a sociological perspective, Durkheim's theory highlights the importance of social norms in maintaining balance and harmony in the education process. This study confirms the relevance of the ethics of seeking knowledge in shaping the character of individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and moral in the modern era.

Abstract

Teachers have new challenges in facing Era 5.0, teachers are required to be able to make new breakthroughs in planning active, innovative and interesting learning. As educators in the Society 5.0 era, teachers must have digital skills and think creatively. Educators are also required to have the ability to create innovative and dynamic learning. To carry out innovative and dynamic learning, you can apply a learning approach that can improve critical thinking skills called Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This article presents techniques that teachers can use to enhance and improve the critical thinking skills of PAI students who can use the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) approach in their learning. To find out the results of implementing the HOTS approach, an evaluation of the research implementation will be carried out. When implementing PAI learning, it is divided into 3 parts based on observations obtained through the HOTS method, namely. The first part is that the teacher makes an analysis of the teaching methods used, and from these results it can be concluded that the class is able to solve problems, for example in the subject of disciplinary behavior. The next step is for the teacher to evaluate the application of the methods used in the teaching and learning process, for example the PAI teacher's negative statements which must be corrected by the students, then the students explain their ideas and contributions. for statements, for example, the material on Disciplinary Attitude and Competitive Attitude is good. In the final stage, the teacher prepares a manifesto to see changes in student behavior in elementary schools (SD) after receiving PAI lessons. In Islamic Religion subjects, what are the obstacles to learning Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Islamic Religionsubjects, how is the assessment of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) learning in Islamic Religion subjects in elementary schools. Guru mempunyai tantangan baru dalam menghadapi Era 5.0, guru dituntut untuk mampu melakukan terobosan-terobosan baru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif dan menarik. Sebagai pendidik di era Society 5.0, guru harus memiliki keterampilan digital dan berpikir kreatif. Pendidik juga dituntut memiliki kemampuan menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan dinamis. Untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan dinamis, Anda dapat menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang disebut Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Artikel ini menyajikan teknik yang dapat digunakan guru untuk meningkatkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa PAI yang dapat menggunakan pendekatan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dalam pembelajarannya. Untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan pendekatan HOTS maka akan dilakukan evaluasi pelaksanaan penelitian. Pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI dibagi menjadi 3 bagian berdasarkan observasi yang diperoleh melalui metode HOTS yaitu. bagian pertama yaitu guru membuat analisis terhadap metode pengajaran yang digunakan, dan dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas mampu menyelesaikan masalah, misalnya mata pelajaran perilaku disiplin. Langkah selanjutnya guru mengevaluasi penerapan metode yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar, misalnya pernyataan negatif guru PAI yang harus dikoreksi oleh siswa, kemudian siswa menguraikan ide dan kontribusinya. untuk pernyataan misalnya materi Sikap Disiplin dan Sikap Kompetitif sudah baik. Pada tahap akhir, guru menyiapkan manifesto untuk melihat perubahan perilaku siswa di Sekolah Dasar (SD) setelah menerima pelajaran PAI. Pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam, apa saja hambatan pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam, bagaimana penilaian pembelajaran Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The Kapuas Riverbanks area is highly prone to tidal flooding (rob floods) due to tidal influences and rising river water levels. Recurring tidal floods not only cause physical damage but also impact the psychological well-being of the affected communities, particularly adolescents. Adolescents, as a vulnerable group, face emotional and social challenges, making them more susceptible to anxiety disorders triggered by the uncertainty and stress caused by such disasters, such as the threat of losing their homes, disruptions to daily activities, and concerns about their future.This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy in alleviating anxiety disorders among adolescents affected by tidal flooding in the operational area of Tambelan Sampit Community Health Center. The study employs a Quasi-Experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach. Anxiety levels were measured using the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale), which has been digitally integrated into an Android-based application to facilitate accessibility and improve data collection accuracy. The results indicate that digital SEFT therapy significantly reduces anxiety scores in adolescents affected by tidal flooding. This demonstrates that a digital-based approach offers a practical and effective solution for supporting adolescent mental health in disaster-prone areas. The study recommends incorporating digital SEFT therapy into psychological disaster response programs, especially for addressing the psychological impacts of tidal flooding, to efficiently reach broader populations.

Abstract

Based on observations in Class 5C SD Labschool UNNES, researchers found several problems, namely the lack of understanding of students in recognizing various musical instruments, the lack of active participation of students in learning music, and the learning methods used by teachers are less communicative. This study aims to describe the application of learning to recognize various kinds of musical instruments with the PjBL model assisted by Flipbook Media in learning Music Art in grade V Elementary School. The focus of this research is: (1) Knowing the Kinds of Musical Instruments (2) Steps of the PjBL learning model (3) Flipbook. The approach in this research is qualitative research, while the object of research is Music Learning The subjects of this research are: (1) learning activities to recognize various kinds of musical instruments using the PjBL model assisted by Flipbook. (2) class V C students. (3) Class V C teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, LKPD work, and making projects by students. Data processing was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that students' learning understanding in recognizing various musical instruments using the PjBL learning model assisted by Flipbook increased. Based on these results, the use of the PjBL learning model assisted by Flipbook has an effect on understanding the kinds of musical instruments of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh media sosial terhadap perilaku penyimpangan seksual pada remaja, khususnya pada platform Instagram, TikTok, dan Twitter atau sekarang yang disebut dengan X, yang banyak diakses oleh Generasi Z. Hal ini mengingat bahwa remaja pada masa kini sangat rentan terpapar berbagai konten yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku dan pola pikir mereka, termasuk dalam hal seksualitas. Media sosial, sebagai ruang komunikasi yang bebas, memungkinkan terjadinya penyimpangan perilaku, terutama di kalangan remaja yang cenderung mencari pengakuan atau validasi dan identitas dirinya di dunia maya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis komentar-komentar yang ditemukan pada unggahan selebriti di akun media sosial yang populer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyimpangan seksual pada remaja di media sosial dipengaruhi oleh faktor anonimnya pengguna, kebebasan berekspresi tanpa batas, serta rendahnya kesadaran akan dampak negatif dari konten yang dikonsumsi. Selain itu, sebagian besar remaja yang terlibat dalam perilaku menyimpang tidak memperhatikan nilai-nilai agama Islam yang mengajarkan tentang kesucian, etika bergaul, dan menjaga kehormatan diri. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya Generasi Z, tentang pentingnya menggunakan media sosial secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab, serta menumbuhkan kesadaran akan nilai-nilai agama Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai pedoman untuk menjaga moralitas dan etika berperilaku di dunia maya.

Abstract

The impacts caused by stroke include weakness or paralysis of the extremities and impaired vision due to limited field of vision. This causes the inability of stroke sufferers to carry out activities and self-care independently. This study aims to determine the efforts of post-stroke patients in improving self-care in Ngampelsari Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. The design of this study is a descriptive case study consisting of 2 subjects as respondents according to the specified criteria. This study was conducted on June 11, 2024 - June 15, 2024. Data collection was carried out by interviews and observations. Sample selection was carried out in pairs (matching). The results of the study showed that the subjects had made efforts to improve self-care needs which included meeting the needs for air, drinking, eating, elimination and cleanliness, activities and rest, solitude and social interaction, prevention from danger, and increasing development in social groups

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis dampak broadcasting terhadap jangkauan pelanggan melalui media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 33 responden, masing-masing dari mahasiswa STIE Mahardika dan individu dari masyarakat. Kami menggunakan analisis regresi linear konvensional. Studi dokumentasi dan daftar pernyataan, yang diukur dengan skala likert, digunakan untuk mendapatkan jenis penelitian ini. Data diolah secara statistik dengan SPSS. Hasil regresi adalah Y = 53,933 + 0,077X+e. Broadcasting hanya mempengaruhi jangkauan konsumen sebesar 7,7% dan tidak signifikan, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,439 di atas 0,05. Diharapkan bahwa penelitian ini akan berfungsi sebagai sumber referensi bagi peneliti lain yang ingin melakukan penelitian serupa dengan pendekatan yang sama. Tujuannya adalah untuk menemukan dampak broadcasting terhadap peningkatan jangkauan konsumen.

Abstract

Penanaman mangrove merupakan salah satu solusi berbasis alam yang efektif untuk mitigasi abrasi dan pelestarian lingkungan di pesisir. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Ulidang sebagai bagian dari proyek kemanusiaan yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah abrasi yang semakin mengkhawatirkan. Dalam kegiatan ini, sebanyak 500 bibit mangrove ditanam dengan melibatkan masyarakat setempat, mahasiswa, dan lembaga pemerintah. Metode yang digunakan mencakup persiapan lokasi, pengumpulan bibit, serta pelaksanaan penanaman secara kolaboratif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya ekosistem mangrove, serta dampak positif terhadap perlindungan garis pantai dan keanekaragaman hayati. Proyek ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi inisiatif serupa di daerah lain dalam upaya menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem pesisir.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between mothers' knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding and their breastfeeding practices, as well as identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation in Mekar Sari Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method with 30 mothers of infants aged 0–6 months selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews using structured questionnaires. The results revealed that the majority of mothers (93.3%) practiced exclusive breastfeeding, though challenges such as perceived insufficient milk supply (50%) and the introduction of complementary foods before six months (53.3%) persisted. Adequate maternal knowledge, family support (96.7%), and information from healthcare workers (96.7%) were identified as critical factors for successful exclusive breastfeeding. These findings underscore the need for continuous education, family support, and breastfeeding-friendly workplace policies to improve exclusive breastfeeding rates and support optimal infant health.
